So I called to let them know I wanted to maintain my house drains and set the appointment when I could be available. Unfortunately they couldn’t/wouldn’t give me a time relative to when they could be here so I cleared my day. When the tech arrived he didn’t have necessary equipment so he had to wait an additional 45 minutes for another truck to arrive. While the equipment appeared to be in excellent shape there was time getting things in order. I think the techs knew what they were doing but used to working independently. Overall they did adequate job. The office could have advised me of the rate and could’ve better communicated my needs. Over grade is a C.

Thomas is a life saver. We have had multiple projects restoring our historic house and he has done everything major projects to repairing minor leaks. Its not often you find a plumber you can trust. We highly recommend him and are repeat customers.

Had a leak in my kitchen. Thought it was coming from the kitchen sink. Turned out it was coming from the shower in the bathroom behind the kitchen. They had it fixed in no time. I also had them remove and replace the plumbing to my kitchen sink. Again, they were very expeditious in making the repairs. I would highly recommend Roto Rooter for all your plumbing needs.

The nicest guy came and had it done very quickly. I had paid another company the day before that said I would something that was going to cost me another 525.00 on top of the 150 I paid him. This guy came expecting to do what the first company told me because that’s what I told him and he got here and saw that it did not need that and he fixed it for me for $140. Cheaper than the first company I called. He could have made more money but instead he chose to be honest and not take it vantage of the situation. I am very pleased.

Had septic tank pumped out by these guys which went fine. Driver, not so smart. Pulled into yard to turn truck around rather than backing out into the road. Almost hit water meter, put ruts all in my yard and put a huge crack in driveway from driving off the edge into grass. Also truck leaks oil

We were having issues repairing a diverter stem in our bathtub. After multiple failed attempts at finding the correct replacement parts we called Roto-Rooter. Our technicians name was Terry. He was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He explained everything to me in a detailed manner. He did have to make a couple trips to a parts store but he made sure we got exactly what was needed. He was also considerate of our budget and made sure he explained pricing to me as he made appropriate repairs. Im very pleased with our service and intend to be a repeat Roto-Rooter customer!!

Jeff from RotoRooter came and found the problem within minutes. He then checked all other components of our septic system, explaining to us how each part worked and what to watch for signaling future problems. He dug up our cover and checked to see if we needed to pump the tank. He found that was not necessary at this time, then he replaced the cover and grass.Jeff was one of the nicest service persons I have ever encountered. He is knowledgeable and courteous. I sincerely hope that the company values Jeff highly as an employee. He is surely an asset.

Our pool was loosing 3 inches of pool water a day and I spent 2 weeks trying to find that leak myself. Wasnt successful so I called Roto Rooter. They have to push it back couple of times due to scheduling but when they show up, he did find the leak and he is sure thoroughly looking. I will call them again in the future.

Technician got there and would not enter home without tenant present even though tenants sister was prepared to stay until repair completed. Asked technician his name and he said it was see you later. Very unprofessional after waiting 5 hours for him to arrive. Then received a bill for $150 when he never even entered home. RUN! THERE ARE OTHER GREAT PLUMBERS LOCALL.Thank goodness another local company unclogged the pipe and installed a clean out next day for only $200 labor and parts.

We had a clog in the main line causing both toilets to have gray water overflow. They were able to get to my house within an hour. The technician (Tommy) was great, was fast and very courteous and professional.

Jarrett was quick, respectful, and knowledgeable. He was able to fix our drain and went above and beyond to clean under the sink and clean the gunk left from when the sink was clogged.

The sewer grinder was not functioning properly. The repair tech arrived and, even though he had already put in a full day, went to work to fix the problem quickly and effectively. Im very happy with the service.

They were called to my home by the landlord to try and find out why my bathrooms were flooding anytime we took a shower. They ran the water for 15 minutes and finally saw the water coming up around the toilets, which ended up flooding both bathrooms again. They went out and got 1 towel (not sure what they were thinking). I gave them 5 of my towels to clean up. They put them down over the water and left. They didn’t even clean up the mess they made. Not impressed AT ALL. Would give them NEGATIVE stars if it were an option

I had a slight overflow on my septic tank so I requested it pumped. The pump crew came after dark on the end a long day for them but came with a smile and professional attitude. They pumped the tank and identified the larger problem of failed field lines. Greg Smith helped me understand my options and get the project rolling to replace the lines. The civil engineer, who is a trusted friend, highly recommended Greg and said that he had worked on numerous projects with him. The job was done quickly, accurately and very professionally! Great job Greg and team!

First time using them...called pretty much every company in the county but no one could provide a tech for the same day . Only reason I called them last was because they have a 1 800 number not a direct line...so they sent a tech out during a rain storm ...and as bad as the rain was he didnt hesitate to see what the issue was and see if it was a quick fix...by the way it wasnt....so we made a plan for him to come out the next day....he arrived on time and ready to work...oh by the way I had a leak in a broken coupling in my grinder pump... So after about an hour he had the new coupling installed along with a new check and shut off valve.... At this point I was more than happy with the speed of the repair...finished way earlier than expected...so he opens the system up and turns everything back on...and everything was perfect.....side note the coupling most like broke in the first place due to a faulty piping design.... After the pump had shut off it made a terrible noise ...which had been an existing problem...so instead of him saying ok I fixed what I came here to do...he took the extra time to figure out the cause...which had 3 previous plumbers stumped....he made a phone call to the pump supplier and got to the bottom of the issue... Then he redesigned the piping system and the problem was finally fixed ....I know that was alot but I felt it was important....so if you have an issue and you dont request DAYLON you are making a huge mistake

I had used a smaller company prior to roto rooter thinking they would be cheaper. Not the case. I used Adams plumbing service in Mobile Alabama and after the service was performed the toilet and tub still draining and flushing slower than usual.. within five weeks they were completely blocked again and Adams said they would charge me the same fee to come back out ( $ 300). They only warrant their work for 30 days 🤔🙄I called roto rooter and within 30 minutes they had resolved the issue for close to $100 less than the prior company and on top of that, the work was warranted for 90 days!!!I wont use anyone except roto rooter and have told everyone I know

Showed up on a Saturday night and performed a good fix, instead of a quick or easy fix.He cleared the initial root clog, then continued to the collapsed pipe (that was damaged by a spire excavator last week). Using small then progressively larger bits on his tool, he fully opened the pipe.I have tested the repair, and verified that it flows.

I made an appointment for service. They told me that they would be here btwn 8-5 & refused to give a better time frame. The tech Billy, called & it went to voicemail before I could pick it up. I tried to call him back and he never would answer, it wouldnt go to voicemail either. I called the office & they couldnt reach him either. He finally called back and said he would not come out & wanted to reschedule after I waited all day for him. I said no. Ill never use them now.

The technician was great. He was professional and overall did a fantastic job. I give him 5 stars. He was the only positive from my experience with this company. I had to call numerous times to see if anyone was still coming. I called before 5PM but my technician made it there about 10pm. And then I had to pay a $50 after hours charge. After I called so many times. The lady who name starts with a L left a message and said that she canceled my technician and scheduled me an appointment for Monday although I informed them my toilet was leaking and going into the bath tubs of both of my bathrooms getting my carpet wet. So I give the business 2 stars but the technician 5 stars.

Full house re-pipe. 3 man crew, all thorough, professional and very nice. They completed the whole house in one day and cleaned up any mess. I was very pleased with the services I had done.

I just bought a new home in Feb, and I needed a water line installed for my new refrigerator. It was in a tricky location, and I was aware of this. I called Roto Rooter because of their reputation. The first time they came out to give me an estimate, they said they would need a full crew for the job. They gave me no info except to say theyd be back another day with someone else to assess. They came back another day, and said the job would be complicated and they would need a full crew, but they could not get to the job until at least a month later. They also gave no price and told me theyd email me an official quote. I was moving in soon and could not wait a month, so I called All Clear Plumbing & Drain to do the job. I never heard back from Roto Rooter about the quote until a few weeks later when someone called and asked if I had ever received it. They then emailed me over an invoice (that was not itemized) for $1000 for the job. I had the job done 2 days after Roto Rooter left my house (and said it would be AT LEAST a month before they could come back) by Kenny at All Clear Plumbing & Drain for $485. Less than half the cost that Roto Rooter wanted to charge. I know their reputation is good, but maybe think about someone else for your tricky jobs.

Pricing was very competitive (around 2/3 of competitor, and even went lower than that after some of the work wasnt as bad as originally thought). Very timely work. And finally, very timely professional in their communications (exchanged mobile numbers immediately and was able to continue texting and phone calls all along the way). Very satisfied with the work and would highly recommend to anyone who finds themself in an unfortunate emergency water damage situation.

They charged me 100 dollars to come out and give me an estimate that was twice the price of other plumbers in my area for a replacement water heater. No other services were given or provided, but an estimate. Still in need of a plumber for water heater replacement.

Aaron was amazing. We had a whole in our pool liner. He detected it, let us take pictures of the dye test, a d wrote up the report right away.

Called for an appointment and was quoted $140 dollars and $50.00 weekend fee. Waited hours for a call that they were on the way. They called backed and said now it would be $210 an hour. Manager not available until MONDAY!!! She put me on hold and said the technicians would do it just for me for 140$ an hour.....

I would NOT recommend Roto Rooter. I am renovating a house and wanted an inspection of the underground pipes. 30 minutes late, they came and professionally put a camera into the pipes for inspection. When it came to inspecting the kitchen drain pipes going underground, the tech tried to put the camera down the pipe and then informed me he only brought the big camera and that he needed the small camera. When asked if he would come back with the small camera, I was informed they would have to charge me another $410 to go and come back and the $410 for two hours would include travel time to the shop and back. They then proceeded to tell me that the girls who man the phones don’t know to ask questions which would indicate which camera to use (not like taking both might be a good idea, like a mechanic taking a full set of tools). Then, this was MY fault because I wasn’t aware of the plumbing industry enough to tell them which camera would be needed. Keep in mind, I told them I wanted to inspect all underground pipes. Because we are re plumbing the house, underground pipes were all that needed inspected. As a Real Estate Broker, I will definitely NOT recommend Roto Rooter of Mobile to my clients for any need. There are too many other reputable options.
