McKenzie is very helpful and the reason I decided to continue my service rather than terminate it. Also, the guy that serviced me the last two times is absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately, I am having a moment and can’t remember his name—and I really do know it!! I truly hate that he will be leaving as I feel I am receiving the quality service I was promised.

Mr. Tom, the office manager, was very quick to get back to me when we had problems with their services. He was extremely nice and professional when he called, even though I originally was not. I had a few problems but he was able to fix them without a problem. Listened carefully to what I had to say and he didn’t make any excuses nor got mad. I wish every establishment had someone like Tom there, the working world would be a better place 😌

The Mobile, AL location is very good. The service person for our area, Brewton, is super. He was so thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and was at our home for almost 2 hours assessing our home and yard for everything that needed treatment. Their price is very good as well.

When my home was in need, i called several companies to compare prices. One person who came was Nathan with Orkin. From the start, i could tell i was dealing with a professional. His inspection was so thorough. He showed me how and why I was having issues with pictures and in far more detail than anyone else. He just made me feel like I was putting my home in good hands. When the guy came to do my service, my feeling was confirmed. If you’re having pest problems at your house, call Orkin. You may spend a little more than with the ones who advertise cheap service. You get what you pay for, and I got the best.

Needed an inspection for termites and some sort of protection. Orkin sent a man out who did an inspection and explained various options and prices. We chose an option of a barrier and traps with continuing 6 month follow up checks.. we feel our home is well protected. The service people were professional and explained what they were going to do before they started. Great service.

The exterminator that came to treat our home and outside perimeter/area, Greg, did an excellent and thorough job! I highly recommend Orkin based upon the superior service rendered for us. The Orkin representative, Nathan Scott, is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I am a happy customer. My previous experiences with Terminix and Arrow were dismal and I cannot recommend their services. Both were overpriced and ineffective in solving the problems. Likewise, the service provided by James Baucom, who made regular inspections and maintenance, was outstanding.

They come out did a full inspection and had a guy out the next day to service all my termite needs and did an excellent job !

Updated Review 17 July 2020It took Orkin less than a day to respond to our feedback and schedule a follow-up appointment to address our concerns. Isaac arrived at our residence, explained the work to be done, and took our concerns into consideration. Following the work he came in to close the loop on what services were rendered and outline his findings. This is definitely much more than your standard spray, and he let us know this is the standard for service. Honestly, it is great to see a company that takes such pride in its work that they ensure 100% satisfaction for the customer, and the timeliness of the response only demonstrates this further.//We contacted Orkin after an unfortunate situation led to hundreds of bugs entering our new home. Despite the efforts of another company to remove the issue there were some leftovers, to include four black widows in our garage. Making an appointment took some time and we did not get a call back, which prompted us to make a call to the general line instead. Then the time window changed from that call which led to a later appointment today. Not the end of the world though since we are moving in and set aside days to get situated. The technician came out today and was very respectful and listened to our concerns. I did not follow them around and we do not have the report, but it seems like we paid for just a spray. The videos on the Orkin site indicate a more comprehensive visit to include clearing webs, nests, attempts to block entry points, and setting up monitoring equipment. This was our reason for choosing the service since the comprehensive response was more appealing than just a spray. It may be my own ignorance at work, especially if these services come at a higher price point. So for now, I’d say 3/5 due to the issues with setting up an appointment and the confusion surrounding services rendered.

We had a terrible mosquito problem at our home and recently after a crawl fish boil have had a ton of flies. We contacted several companies but Orkin was the only one who could bundle our services together to give us one flat rate. Our tech was awesome, answered all of our questions and made sure that we were happy before he left. Top knot has service for a reasonable price. We will be using them for a long time.

For My first initial visit the representatives were professional and courteous. But I strongly agree to a second visit as soon as possible.

The field inspector is who I met first and he was very professional, sincere, informative and impressive. We scheduled a treatment for termites for 2 days later. The man doing the work was prompt and went straight to work. Accidents happen, and they sure did that day, but he called his supervisor, who promptly came out to Assess the situation. Orkin accepted full responsibility, explained how the resolution would happen and it went according to plan. They found live termites, the job took longer than expected, but Orkin was very professional and did what they said they would do and I am satisfied with the work they did. I look forward to a long and beneficial relationship.

I took two stars away initially because my appointment was not scheduled and no one called me that morning to notify me of the issue with scheduling. I gave the two stars back when one of the Orkin reps called me back immediately after my review to make a wrong right. I appreciate the concern and the willingness to correct the issue. This is very rare for companies today to value their reputation and the customers concerns.

The Tech was professional and friendly. The service was really quick. The products used had no scent so thats a positive. Ill update in 30 days to determine if the treatment worked to prevent and eliminate spiders.

EDIT TO PREVIOUS POST :I paid for my initial visit on September 5th, which seemed to go great. The guy was very knowledgeable, and was in and out quickly. However, he informed us that he didnt not know he was supposed to treat for fleas that day, and therefore would come back later that week at no cost. This was fine, even though I specifically requested it in the initial call to set up an appointment. The 2nd visit, September 10th, they send some poor new guy who didnt have any idea what he was doing. He said he didnt know Orkin even treated for fleas inside, but that he would just go ahead and treat the outside for free and have someone else come back for the inside. This 3rd visit, October 5th, they send the same guy with what looks like a Walmart can of bug spray, and he has no idea how to use it. He has to ask us, the customer.. how to use it.. And Im not putting any blame on this guy whatsoever, its not his fault they didnt train him before sending him. Not his fault at all. Then, even after all of this, the flea problem still wasnt fixed. So now, this is the 3rd month after the initial visit, and Im getting collection calls despite being explicitly told that these visits were free, and having emails to prove it. I spoke to 3 different representatives, who all claimed they notated the account and would have a supervisor call me back. A supervisor did not call me back until the 4th month, and even then, said there were absolutely no notes on the account. He then proceeded to tell me that the charge on my account was for a second full service visit.. that we never received. They still want to charge me for it but I told them, I am NOT paying for something I didnt receive. And if they showed up when I wasnt here, Im not paying for that either because whos to say they even did anything? Eventually he clears the charge off my account. Hopefully no one else has had this god awful experience. I will never be going back to Orkin, or recommending them to anyone. Absolutely ridiculous. And still have all the bugs we initially complained about!!

Blake was a terrific technician. He was very thorough in explaining what the service entailed. He also offered me mosquito protection which I just may start up soon. He also helped me find a way to locate my house easier!

Blake & James are both very helpful and polite. They helped us get our new remodeled house squared away back when we first started demoing it, by removing any unwelcome guests. Blake stopped by yesterday and sprayed while checking out the new construction. Thank you for being so good at your jobs and good people to associate with.

Once the technician arrived he was outstanding. We had a terrible problem with mosquitoes and the difference after he treated our yard was like night and day. Great job Mitchell!!! But I think they tend to overbook and there were a couple of missed appointments. This was our first service so well see how it goes next time.

Very quick response to an active colony inside walls. A thorough inspection, detailed description of what was happening and how to treat, followed by three types of treatment. They always come on time and always go above and beyond what they even have to. Take our last service, for example. I received a nice balance of calls and texts leading up to the appointment. On appointment day, Herman Edwards called me to let me know he was on the way. It is a call from a human, not an automated appointment system with an 8 hour appointment window.He arrived and went straight to work after I offered him a cold bottle of water. He worked his tail off in the sweltering June heat and oppressive humidity, even going so far as to get some wasp nests near my childrens playground area - which he totally didnt have to do.Hermans courteous manner & hardworking spirit is consistent across every Orkin employee Ive encountered across the Termite and General Pest Control visits.As a company, they stand behind their work and guarantee their results. When our termite traps were installed, the installer nicked a sprinkler head joint with the auger. They replaced it, no hassle - no fuss - they just replaced it. They took the initiative at every step.Look, Im frugal when it comes to services like this. For years I thought I had to balance between value and cost with subpar professionalism with a competing service (Terminix). I expected Orkin would be a more expensive service. Instead, we pay less to Orkin, have a better bond, superior pest control and friendlier faces.

James from Orkin is the best. We had a much more severe infestation than I knew. He come out over and over. He really worked with me to get rid of them. We started in October of 2018. By Christmas i wasnt seeing many at all. By January they were gone. I havent seen a live one in months and the dead ones Im finding are where i hadnt cleaned yet, such as under and behind an old shelving unit. Now hes working on getting rid of carpenter bees and ants for me. This guy is awesome.
