They kept my computer for weeks and never called me once. I had to call every time too see what was going on. They didnt fix my computer and when I came to pick it up, it was damaged and things were rattling around inside it. I also had to pay them, even though my computer was in worse shape than when I brought it in, and as far as I know they never even did anything.. Will never go here again or recommend to anyone!

RUDE & unprofessional! I never patronized this place in all the decades living in Midtown Mobile. However, I spent 15 minutes in there today after a quick Google search. I will NEVER go back. Had 2 Dell laptops that I thought had been popped by a lightning surge. I was also suspicious of the one power charger cord I had been using to charge both. Maybe the surge got that cord too. I figured The Computer Crew could try charging one of my laptops with one of their power cords. The first associate who greeted me was very helpful. She quickly found a used power cord and plugged it into one of my dead laptops. Wouldn’t you know, it worked. She proceeded to boot up the system and was going to check to make sure the charger was registering correctly in my laptop. Out of nowhere, her Manager (I’m surmising, or owner) came from the back and immediately started throwing up road blocks to what her associate was doing to assist my problem. She started saying that what her employee was doing was considered a “diagnostic” and it would be $50 and to leave my laptop with them for a few days. What kind of sales tactic is that?? One employee is seemingly helping me thru a simple problem while the other halts that process and starts commenting that the diagnostic currently in progress has a fee. I was aghast. I couldn’t believe how insolent her actions were and how I was being treated. After explaining my laptops were under warranty with Dell and that all I wanted to do is find out if another power cord would work, I was told it would be $100 for 2 diagnostics and to leave them for a few days. I was dumbfounded by the response. I then asked simply if they would plug their used working power charger into my other dead laptop to see it it would work too. The Manager’s response: “No” because they “couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t hurt my laptop.” What??? I grabbed my laptops and broken power charger and walked out. They absolutely handled this situation unprofessionally. Their customer service is horrendous. I wouldn’t trust them with repairing my computers at all. What they did was absolutely wrong and the way I was treated was undeserved. I do NOT recommend this computer repair company and strongly encourage anyone seeking computer repairs and “diagnostics” to look elsewhere.
Very unprofessional, one star is too much credit in my book. After 6 phone and 2 visit. Someone gave me a call back with a high-pitch in her voice was very rude and unprofessional talk to me like I was not the customer like I was a problem from keep calling to check on my computer. I used them before in past, but never again. I decided to just put up the computer and take it to Best Buy. Try to support local business
Fast, friendly and honest! I dropped my computer, which bent the housing and I could not push the button in to turn it on. They checked the hard drive to make sure it was not damaged and it wasnt!! They manipulated the housing and it is working great 4 hours later! Thank you so much, Computer Crew!!

Brought them a hard drive with a clear explanation of what was wrong with it: Dropped hard drive, power supply is good and hard drive not spinning. I told them I know how to check for power, which i did. Power was good. They said oh we can fix it. 30 minutes later, their response bypassed power supply, cant get hard drive to spin. Dah! $75 dollars! Played me for the diagnostic fee!
They have the greatest most knowledgeable staff in the business. Christina is always smiling and can explain everything so those of us who have no knowledge of computers can understand. The price is extremely reasonable. Once they make a repair, its repaired!They offer networking, virus protection, building & maintaining web sites.Ive used them for 3 years and will never use anyone else.

They saved me from a horrible fate. I had an external hard-drive crash and I thought I had lost 8 years, 6 Gigs worth of non-replaceable data. They were able to recover my data in its original formatting and transfer it to a new drive. Christina was very helpful, knowledgeable,and kept me informed each step of the way. I would highly recommend their services for data recovery.

1-Extremely BAD TIMING. Talk like professionals, work like never trained.2-Owner, Please be honest. Your tech told me that I will get a call before the closing time on the same day to let me know if there is any other things need repairs, and he said you will get your laptop back by tomorrow afternoon, and because of this timing I left my laptop. AND NO ONE CALLED . The next day I CALLED at 10:00, the diagnostic part was still not done. One hour later I received a call Your laptop will be ready after 4 hours, we will call you when it is ready .... 5 hours later I CALLED to check, because no one called, and the guy said sorry we didnt called you but your laptop is ready. After picking up, I came back because I found something will cause the same problem but on the other side from the laptop which was not mentioned after your techs diagnosis. AND NOW I HAVE BLUISH COLOR SCREEN. And again I have to waste more time coming back to your techs and find out what part they installed the wrong way.3-At the End they fixed every thing back, rebuilt the profiles in my device and make sure every thing is running at good condition and make me SMILE.
I took my laptop in on Saturday with a disk error. CC ran diagnostics on it, found that the hard disk was unrestorable to its original condition and offered to reformat it and reinstall Windows 7, which I agreed to. The work was done and I was able to pick my laptop up on Monday evening, usable once more! (Fortunately I had backed up all my important files to an external hard drive before trashing the one on the laptop.) All for a very reasonable price. I hope I dont need Computer Crew again, but it I do I will definitely use them.

Absolutely my favorite Computer Repair Service. I choose to come here after I read the reviews and I love everyone that works their. My computer had numerous viruses, plus the only I used for my online school for art, new battery, and need updated McAfee. To say the least my computer was a mess. However, Christina reassured me they could fix it and they did so. It only took about 3 days. I could on and on; but I hope you get the point. They are honest, upfront about pricing, and Friendly.

My computers were running slower and slower. I couldnt seem to figure out why, so I took my laptop and my tower computer in to The Computer Crew. I found the staff there to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I was very concerned about all of my documents, resumes and family pictures that I had saved on them, but they reassured me that they could back them up and save them for me. They called me later that afternoon to tell me what was wrong with both of my computers and how much it would cost me to have them repaired. It was wonderful to be offered options for the repairs. When I arrived the next day to pick up both of my computers, the technician came out personally bring out my tower and laptop. He opened up my laptop to show me that my documents and pictures were in place, as promised. I walked away from this experience very pleased with the fast turn-a-round time and the awesome staff!

I brought my laptop to their store because I was getting error messages and it just wasnt working right. Im in my 60s and am not very computer savvy, but I must say that I was treated with kindness, patience and professionalism. They called me to explain the problem and go over the cost to fix it, which made me feel good because there werent any hidden charges considering that I am on a fixed income, it was much cheaper to have it fixed than buy a new one. My laptop was fixed very quickly and they even took the time to show me how to use my webcam so I could talk to my grandson that lives out of state! I had a great experience and will use their services again! Thank you for being so patient with this ol gal!
I went there to see if they Could fix my computer but the lady at the front counter was horribly rude and told me I wouldnt find any body else to help me went to office Depot right down from them and received the best service. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone
The people here dont Know anything about computers. I took my apple laptop on Saturday March 4th 2017, with a booting problem. The Manager Katrina spoke nicely, ( thats what I thought, at that time ) and said 50 dollars for the diagnostics and may be up to 150 dollars to reinstall osx, and said she would call monday with the exact quote on March 6 th 2017. I did not receive any calls until 11:30 AM, hence I called at 11:55 AM, 1:30 PM and 3:13 PM and she said she is running the diagnostics every time I called and said she would call me in a few minutes. I told my wife to go at 5 PM and ask her what is going on and she told my wife that the mother board is gone and would be very expensive to repair and my wife asked for the computer and she brought the computer home.It is now 8:41 PM and I am typing on the very same computer.What did I do then: I called my son, and he helped to install the OS X operating system and is working fine.Lesson Learned: These people tried to rip me off, dont know any thing about computer,By the way, I saw some fish tanks in this store and they should sell fishinstead of telling people that they know about computers.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONEANNAMALAI NADARAJAN
Leaving reviews is time consuming, but I gots time today.On Saturday 9/10/16, I take my laptop to The Computer Crew (I have crew in hyphens because Ive only seen 2 workers there out of all the times Ive been there) and I tell her that I dropped my laptop due to the fact that it looked like it had been dropped (I ripped the screws out where the screen is held in place trying to change out the screen myself because thats what I originally thought the issue was and I couldnt close it back properly, the bezel around the screen wasnt snapped in all the way). I tell her about the white screen I am experiencing (Screen was displaying blank white) and that I know exactly what the issue is and how to fix it which is to change out the video screen cable. She tells me well we are going to run a diagnosis test on it just to make sure there are no other issues, but if it turns out it is the video screen cable, we will call you to get approval before making repairs and the cost of the cable and labor will be deducted from the $ 50 diagnosis fee. She has me signed something stating this and also sign something asking me if I wanted my hard drive backed up to which I marked yes. She stated I had to pay the $ 50 up front, which I did. She tells me she will give me a call by the end of the day after the diagnosis has been ran. Received no call by the end of the day. Received no call on Monday 9/12. I eventually got tired of waiting and called her on Tuesday 9/13 to inquire about my laptop issue. She tells me she is waiting to here back from someone about the price of a part and that she would call me back by noon. She called me back at 2:30 (shocker) to tell me that not only was my video screen cable bad which would cost $ 55 for just the part PLUS the cost of labor, but that my hard drive was also damaged during the drop. She then tells me to fix the entire laptop, I was looking at over $ 800. I knew something was up as soon as she said my hard drive was damaged during the drop. Remember, I never dropped my laptop, I just told her I did. Not to mention, I had been using my laptop via an HDMI connection to my LCD television since my screen issue (2 weeks), including the morning of 9/10/16. Nothing was wrong with my hard drive before handing it over to The Computer Crew. I decline the repairs and requested to pick up my laptop. I pick up my laptop and now something funny is happening, my files are literally deleting themselves. I had to do a complete hard drive wipe and set my laptop back to its factory condition (this fixed the hard drive problem but now all my files and documents are history). I ordered an video screen cable on Amazon for TEN DOLLARS and took it to Computer Resource on 9/17/16 who installed it in 3 hours for $ 50 which fixed my screen issue (they dont charge a diagnosis fee either). I called The Computer Crew on on 9/21/16 to retrieve my hard drive info that they backed up and she tells me they have it and I need to bring something in to copy it to. I ordered an SD card on Amazon which can hold the amount of GBs needed and take it to her on 9/24/16. Not once has she mentioned anything about paying to retrieve my hard drive information. She tells me she will call me when its ready (lies). I call her on 9/26 and 9/27 to see if its ready and on 9/27 she says Oh let me go check, it just finished, its ready. I go to pick up my SD card and she has a paper saying I owe her $ 200 for her labor. R U SERIOUS, WHAT LABOR??? I tell her I had no idea I would have to pay to retrieve my backed up information and she tells me she told me over the phone and it was a verbal agreement and that I must have forgot. LIESSSSS. I tell her Im not paying $ 200 for backed up information and she tells me she will delete the information off my SD card before she gives it to me, which she did. Had I did my due diligence, I would have read the actual Google reviews as well as Yelp and the BBB complaints and not just focused on the 4.3 stars.I look forward to that womans response/lies to my review.
Hands down, the best computer repair service in the area. Mrs. Kristina and her crew are the best. I have the absolute worse luck with computers (which is why I no longer borrow friends laptops or rent to own them lol), and The Computer Crew saved me! The first laptop I needed fixing, fell off the top shelf of my closet and caused the WLAN cable or something like that, to snap, which made the laptop unable to connect wirelessly. This was a laptop that I was renting to own through Aarons. After the diagnosis, Mrs. Kristina indicated that the laptop had viruses in addition to the broken WLAN cable (or whatever it was called lol) They removed the viruses for me but, she indicated that I would come out cheaper paying Aarons for the full price of the laptop rather than paying the Computer Crew to fix the issues. To me, that shows that Mrs. Kristina isnt all about the money. Of course as a business, she and her colleagues/business partner have to make money; however, she also has a good heart and is concerned about what is in the best interest of the customer as well. Furthermore, the 2nd laptop I had issues with, was a laptop I borrowed from a friend, and my daughter accidentally cracked the LCD. Mrs. Kristina and her crew fixed the laptop in a very timely manner and when I received it back, it looked as if nothing had ever happened to it. My friend was very pleased to have her laptop back in the condition that it was given to me. I would recommend Computer Crew over Best Buys Geek Squad any day (no offense). The Computer Crew charges only $50 for the diagnostic fee AND it goes towards the repair of the computer. If anyone has had a bad experience with the Computer Crew, I can only believe that it just had to be something wrong with the customer and/or their device was just completely or nearly irreparable despite the Computer Crews attemmpts. When/If I have computer issues in the future, The Computer Crew will ALWAYS be my first and ONLY stop. Mrs. Kristina is the absolute best, and as a frequent customer myself, I can honestly say that she makes me feel like more than a customer. She makes me feel like family.
Bad News..Avoid!! The absolute worst attitude with customers ever!! They are service sponges and will take your money after they spend an hour or so at your office doing nothing, then tell you they will be back first thing in the morning to fix the problem. Scam artist..... avoid The Computer Crew in Mobile Alabama at all cost!!!!
I bought a cpu cooler that was over priced and can not return it and the cooler has NOT been used i did not even open the box hands down the worst store order online they have a return policy
