Very poor service DO NOT USE pay on time every time to have trash picked up twice a week and they have not picked up my trash in 3 weeks this time and a couple months ago it was 2 weeks they missed and they miss 1 day a week all the time. They never call back or respond to emails. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Texas Pride Disposal services our HOA and today was our day for trash and recycle. The recycle crew came by and picked up 2 long boxes I had placed outside but left the recycle can and its contents. I used the chat feature and spoke with Jenna and she stated that she would put in a work order to have them come back out to get the rest. It worked! They were back out within 2 hours and took the remainder. Thanks Jenna for your assistance and Texas Pride for quickly fixing the issue!
I have been trying to get help on my account/service for over two months with no support from TX Pride.- Unable to make payments on my account due to updates needed for services they were unable to provide- No recycling service since starting several months ago, no response about not getting service or timeframe for when it will it will finally start- When I try to call the phone lines are down- A Manager was supposed to reach out to me in response to my email thread the week of 9/5... here we are 10/6 and no calls have ever been made... they also totally stopped emailing at this time.- When you are able to get someone on the phone (which I have not been able to do since August) I was informed all the information about my service and account I was given were incorrect. Sorry they were new was the excuse I got.
Disappointing that youve decided to act poorly since mud 1 replaced you as our service provider. I was very happy with your service and hated that they changed. But your lack of professionalism during the transition has made me feel otherwise.Nextdoor is a powerful tool and the talk about your actions during transition has been explosive. Damaging future opportunity is not good. All mud districts residents are on the site. Be better not bitter. I know it was a painful blow but your response was bad for business and if I were in charge of taking bids after hearing how you acted with Mud 1, you would NOT stand a chance. Very unacceptable!
Since Sept 18, our neighborhood trash has been picked up one time, Sun Sept 26. I had called earlier in the day, Saturday, Sept 25, and was told they were running late and would be out. I emailed and voice messaged at 6:54 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 28, I got an email stating they had sent a recovery truck out on Sat, Sept 25. No, it was Sun, Sept 26.Sat, Oct 2, I watched the trash truck drive out of our neighborhood without picking up neighborhood trash. I called customer service for the second Sat in a row. I was told their trucks were full and they were going to dump them and would be back. No ones trash was picked up.Sun, Oct 3, @3:28, our neighborhood trash has still not picked up. We paid for twice a week service back in Aug.
This company is horrible! they were dropping trash cans off in my neighborhood after waiting months for them and they completely skipped my house my neighbor had went and picked up a trash can and they delivered another one to them! How can they have 2 trash cans when I don’t even have one. I called the company while they were still in the neighborhood and they said that they’ll drop one off on our next trash day. Our trash days are on mondays and Thursday and sometimes they don’t come until the next day at night. This company is trash and needs to be shut down. How are you going to skip my house but give my neighbors 2 trash cans. Makes no sense. They could’ve just called the truck driver to turn around and drop one off but no they make everything so difficult. Would not recommend.
One thing I appreciate about TPD is that its a small, privately owned company: I much prefer personalized service to trying to talk to robots, hah!Had a little hangup with my card on my initial billing, and Valery was kind enough (and had the authority to!) waive the fees that had accrued. Good stuff.

We made the HUGE mistake of signing up with Texas Pride one year ago because they promises twice weekly pickups. Most of the neighbors on our street also did the same. For the last year we have been lucky if they pick up even once a week. Our can sits at the end of our driveway for days and weeks on end, rotting and stinking and NOT BEING EMPTIED.The worst part of our experience is when the Texas Pride truck high tails it through our street on Saturday mornings just so their company GPS shows they drove the route, but they literally pick up zero trash. You can’t make this stuff up.This company is trash. Do NOT do business with them or sign up for their services. We cancelled our contract yesterday and are going back to our precious company who always did a super reliable job (Residential).
I have been trying for the last several months to contact some one at Texas Pride Disposal to assist in picking up our trash. no one ever showed up to pick up my trash, they did pick up the monthly payment. but services were never rendered

I started service in September 2020, they came door to door after town and country was sold. They were very friendly and promised to be on time and pick up 2x a week. Im lucky if they pick once a week, Ive even gone a full month without them picking up my trash. Chatting everyday with them promising to send someone back out. Guess what they never show. You call and call no one calls you back, the only way to talk to someone is thru chat on the site. Ive been very understanding but Im done. This is ridiculous, I shouldnt have to beg for them to do the job I pay them to do. I cant even get them to answer the phone to cancel my service.
This is the most horrible trash company around. Some moron in my HOA decided to save two or three bucks a month and hire these idiots. When or IF they ever show up, they constantly leave my trash cans in my single lane driveway. No matter how many times I call or email nothing ever gets resolved. I am a senior citizen with mobility issues and I resent these idiots constantly blocking me from entering my driveway. I have to park my vehicle on my busy street and cross over, put the trashcans on the rocks next to the driveway and get back in my vehicle to enter my own driveway. All without getting run over! I said these same comments on their Facebook page and guess what they did? Deleted my comment and blocked me! Wow, so childish. They must think its hilarious that I have to get out, in pain, and move my cans. They put everyone elses on their lawn except mine. We put them out on the rocks, why cant they put them back on the rocks when they empty them? ?? How freaking hard is that? Very poor way of treating a customer who pays ON TIME. When its time to renew their contract Im going to go to every HOA meeting and tell my story so hopefully theyll go with someone else. We used to have Republic, and never had any issues. This company sucks!!!Update on 7/15 AGAIN TODAY!!! Could not get in my own driveway again today. Every single day they take the can off the rocks and set it in the driveway. Because they think it’s a big effing joke!!!THIS is the way this company treats is CUSTOMERS!!!!

This is literally the worse trash service I have ever used. I have been trying to get service for 6 weeks now. They have never once picked up my trash. They literally pick up the neighbors trash in either side of me every week and skip my house. I’ve had to start taking my trash to my mom’s house. I call them every week and they always say they’re coming, but never do. Completely incompetent. I even had one representative ask me if the truck driver knows how to get to my house like I should know if he knows his own route. I will be filing a complaint. Not really sure what else I can do since they are they only trash service in my area.
I wish I could give them zero stars. They have yet to provide me with a can after 8 months of service. They pick up trash whenever they feel like it. You can never get someone on the phone to talk too. Several times when they do decide to collect trash they just completely skip my house. Terrible terrible service. 100% do not recommend. Will be finding a new company.
This company is terrible. They get paid to pick up your trash, then dont bother to show up. I have once weekly trash pickup, they have missed the last 2 weeks. Terrible, terrible, terrible company. If they actually do show up, the guys on the truck are fine, no complaints at all. Its just getting this company to show up is impossible. I cant express how bad they are. This is a fairly common occurrence for them to skip a week, leaving us with trash that smells terrible and nothing we can do about it. Negative stars for them. I wish I had another option, I would quit these guys instantly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Since March we have been trying to get trash bins for our house with no success. Half the time we call we wait 20 minutes on the line just for them to send us to voicemail. More times than not the trash people don’t even take our trash because we don’t have trash bins and we have to find ways to get rid of our trash on our own. When we do finally get a hold of people they apologize and say they will send trash bins out immediately within the week but with 0 results still. Will be contacting water company to file more formal complaints.
Dont use Texas pride they suck.Never picked up my trash 3 pickup days in a row.Almost a year and still waiting on my refund, I hope they go bankrupt. The drivers still come down my dead end street, lost as usual. Residents in my area are cancelling Texas Pride in droves because theyve proven unreliable. I cancelled too. So, what does Texas Pride do for an encore? Follow this sequence of events, and see why businesses fail:• Jul 3 - Invoice received for Jul-Sep trash pickup. Invoice states payment due Jul 30.• Jul 7 - I cancel service for failure to perform the prior week (Jul 1) and others, including days-later pickups.• Aug 13 - Letter from collection agency demanding payment. (So, the day after the invoice due date, Texas Pride contacted their agency for collection.)• Aug 27 - I mailed my rebuttal to collection agency and copied Texas Pride, also asking them to pick up their bin, which Ive stored for them now for 2 months.I support small and local businesses. How they handle complaints separates the winners from the losers.PS. I gave them a 2-star because I felt sorry for the lady taking all the complaint calls.
When they come to get my trash they leave smaller bags in the bottom of the can, I have bags that have been there for 2 weeks now. I pay for my entire can to be emptied and Id appreciate it if that was being done the way its supposed to be.
I needed two couches disposed of and I called the morning of my service date to inquire about the procedure. Isaac in customer service was very professional and he explained what to do. He sent me an email for me to reply to with pictures of the items and my contact information. They were actually picked up today! And best of all, Isaac called me at 5:00 to be sure they were picked up and that I didn’t need anything else. Great service, especially at a time when labor is hard to come by to get the job done. Well done!
So, our MUD district has decided to replace them due to poor service. The past few months tha they dont pick up recycling trash. Were supposed to pick up today, Saturday, because they missed Wednesday. Here we are again, no recycling pick up. Dont waste your time with this company.

They are supposed to pick up trash twice a week... they have now missed 2 pickups and everyone on the street has FULL cans. -- They are not consistent in picking up - would not recommend.

These guys are the worst they consistently miss 3-4 pick-ups a month. And always with the same excuse our truck was down our driver was out we will get to you tomorrow and nothing ever changes.
This company is trash.....pun intended. They came into our neighborhood last year trying to get people to sign up. The price was good and they offered recycling with glass, which the other companies did not. We switch last year which has turned out to be a huge mistake.They miss the recycling pickup at least every other week. When they do pick it up, it is a day late most of the time. We recycle as much as we can so we cant go two weeks without a pickup or our large can is overflowing. Im going to be forced to switch trash companies due to their poor reliability. Dont waste your time or money with this place.
Used for general garbage pick up, cancelled service and received bill several months after cancellation, called and told was error would be taken care of, few months later received another bill called again told would be taken care of. Now a year later received a bill from collection agency, have called twice to speak with supervisor, told both times not available and would return my call, after 3 weeks still no response. The service was very good, but business office and policies are terrible, I would not recommend this company to anyone since you cant have good service and a terrible accounting, the customer looses.

This trash company misses our neighborhood pick up days ALL THE TIME, often just picking up once a week instead of two times a week, which our neighborhood pays for. I’ve never seen anything like it during my 30 years of living in subdivisions. They are literally the worst waste management company in the Houston area that I’ve experienced. Texas Pride Garbage Service has proven to be a professional, reliable service for my address in Katy, Texas for years. The driver who comes to my house, Jose, is courteous, friendly, and exceptionally hard working, as are all of his crew. They’re always on time, and collect my garbage without making any mess, and leave the area spotless. I hope you will tell Jose how much he is appreciated in my neighborhood. He’s an asset to your company.
I was connected to a Texas Pride Customer Service Rep that really took her job to heart. Jenna was very polite with, had an excellent demeanor. and provided good customer support. Thank you for your support Jenna. It is really appreicated.
The owner responded to another post. All the excuses the about Covid, unemployment and so on. Why are they lying to the customer. Why are you telling us a truck will be there by 7:00 and they don’t show up. Why are your drivers picking up my neighbors trash and not mine. You don’t have a problem getting my money from me. It was mandatory to be set up on auto pay. Where the duck are our credits for the missed weeks?How about no more excuse and do your job.

This is without a doubt THE worst companyI have ever done business with. They have been “no-shows” on collection days at least seven times since they became our service provider. This week they missed us on both scheduled days. Our trash bins have been full for eight days running.Their customer service people are the biggest liars on the planet. We call every time after they miss our street, and their CS people tell us “oh, they’ll be out tomorrow to collect,” but they never show. They have lied to us on every single occasion we called to report missed service. They don’t return voice messages or answer emails. I wrote a letter to the company president to report the customer service department, and he didn’t even respond. They collect for three months service in advance but don’t give a credit for missed service.It is my recommendation that you do everything in your power to avoid selecting this company for your waste collection.
I am not sure why a trash company would be servicing Magnolia area, but this is company for my neighborhood. I am new to the area and I must say that this is the worst company ever. They bill you 3 months at a time, and I see why, it is because they know customers will not want their services. But I paid the 3 months and I will be looking for a different company to service my area. This is simply ridiculous! How are these people still in business??
Absolutely useless company. Does not pick up garbage consistently. Theyll maybe come and pick up your trash or they may just not stop and keep on going. Do not use them, do not bother to have your trash picked up by them, do not give them business. Their phone does not work, they will never answer you. Continue to review them poorly, as they should not be in business. They should just label their headquarters as a place we can bring our trash so at least we can get some enjoyment out of this miserable company.
When Texas Pride Disposal started serving our subdivision, they were great, but as they expanded and took on more customers, they’ve become a joke!Our last trash pickup was September 10, 2021,& here we are on 9/21/2021 and they haven’t picked up our trash. They cancelled once due to weather, then picked up our recycling on the next scheduled day, but left the trash, and have now not shown again today for their scheduled pickup, even though they told me via their web chat they were coming.And don’t bother trying to call them, they never answer the phone! If I could give them a negative star rating I got I would!
They throw trash cans with no regard to whether or not they break. They have ruined 2 of our new trashcans by breaking the wheels. When I ask why they do that and they need to pick them up, I was told abruptly and rudely to pick them up myself. I am 66 and I should be treated with respect!
HORRIBLE TRASH COMPANY! Started service July 21st. From then til Sept. 3rd I only got my trash picked up twice . I called multiple times and was told there would be a credit on my next bill, and to my surprise they actually raised my bill from $75 to $96 without a notice. My trash was out at 6AM and everything in trash bags. Also my neighbors got they’re trash picked up every time and i was not given a valid reason why mine wasn’t getting picked up. Very unreliable and customer service is horrible also.
Our community has them for trash and recycle pick up. They are far from reliable. They suspended our recycling service and promised us a refund. They gave us $.74 for a months worth of pickup they didnt do. They also lie to consumers.

Worst service ever. I ordered a trash can back in 03/2021. They told me it would be shipped in April. I waited until the beginning of May to call to check on its shipping status. Every week I called, they told me it would be shipped as soon as possible and the case had been submitted to Manager to resolve. It was like that for at least 4 times in 4, 5 weeks.At this point (in June), I didnt want to do any business with them and just wanted money back. Over 2 weeks, I still havent gotten money back nor check. The lady who was supervisor over there, promised to call me back about the refund status. But like other agents I talked over the phone, no one called back and cared enough to get the job done.It was the worst service ever I received. If there is zero star or negative star, I dont hesitate to rate them as such.
Started my service with Texas Pride ind September of 2020. Started out ok but went downhill from there. Their service is sporadic at best. Started with Tuesday/Friday service then they changed to Wednesday/Saturday. Thought it would help and it didn’t. Trash has not been picked up at my home since May 2021 and it was only twice. They wouldn’t show up on Wednesday, showed up on Friday then would come back out Saturday. Wife called and complained about service and since that was our first complaint she was basically told we need to complain more to show a pattern of bad service. Our neighborhood has been complain for months there is plenty of history of bad service. Wife cancelled service. Apparently that is a whole different process. We still receive a bill and have their trash can even though we have a new provider and a new trash can. Don’t use Texas Pride if you’re in the Magnolia area service is terrible.

It has been 3 months since I moved into my home and put in a request to Texas Pride. I’m still waiting to receive my trash/recycling receptacles. It takes a week for Texas Pride to respond to emails and when they do actually answer your call, they put you on hold or hang up. To add insult to injury, they are not consistent with trash pick ups.I have never dealt with such an unprofessional business before. I’m going to write to my HOA board to request that we change to a better trash pickup service provider.Word of advice, don’t waste your time or money with Texas Pride.
Horrible Service!! We Bought a house in May and still have NO trash cans (nor does 90 percent of our subdivision) and have been promised MANY times that they would be there in a few days. Very unsanitary, new neighborhood devalued by trash bags in everyone’s yard due to lack of trash cans. Animals tearing it up, ant issues, etc.. Yet still we pay for service… I would NOT recommend them to anyone
Company hasn’t picked up our neighborhood trash in over a week. Trash everywhere and the residents are hauling their trash aback and forth, from house to road and back, still full!!! They’ve been seen in the neighborhood but only emptying what they want to and leaving 99% of the rest. Horrible company. I would give a 0 if I could.
Awful service. Waiting 3 weeks for them to take their cans away. Our entire neighborhood canceled service with them and chose a new recycling provider because their service was so inconsistent. They are basically a meme for an embarrassing level of poor customer service at this point. Do not recommend, if you go with them you will be disappointed.
This is possibly the worst company ever. We switched with Town and Country was sold and have been completely unhappy since. I’ve given them a couple of chances to resolve, because I believe in letting someone right a wrong, but will be canceling. We are on week 4 of no recycling. They didn’t pick up our trash today. I’ve called and left messages, no one responds. They don’t answer the phone. Don’t waste your time with Texas Pride.
It has been almost 3 weeks since we have seen Texas Pride Disposal #outonthejob. They have #failed to provide service at least once every week since we opted to give them the privilege of having another customer. The failure rate to provide service as of this writing is 26%. Pretty sure I will not get refunded for their #failure.This has to #theworstexperience for a process that seems so simple. While I do not claim to understand the trash business, I do know sales and customer service. Both of which this company miserably failed at. #BuyerBeware if you choose to use these guys as a provider.I have asked numerous times, through phone calls, email, social media and their website for resolution with not even the courtesy of a callback. While I will most likely discontinue their service, I want to make sure that others understand what they will be getting in to.
Inconsistent trash pick up, they come down the street and pick up one side but ignore the opposite side of the street, I have videos to prove it. Then there are days they don’t even show up but yet they increase our rates. Time to find another trash service.
If I could rate this company at at -5, I would. Just look read the reviews on the Better Business Bureau. Not picking up trash for weeks, I mean weeks at a time. The only reason we do not have enough coverage. Yet, they don’t want to refund their customers for their lack of business management.
We had this trash service since I moved in August of 2020, and they have constantly either been late or just didnt show up. We paid for twice a week service and on more than one occasion they did not show up for service for over a week. Our HOA finally had to switch to a different service . I would not recommend this company for trash services.
Never can speak with someone without atleast a 20 minute wait only to get an excuse. Out of a 2 day a week pick, have only gotten 1 for the last 3 weeks. Leaving a full trash can for the weekend when we are actually home., and usually have to clean the street up after them. Im not the only person in my neighborhood unhappy. If you cant take on another neighborhood do not come in trying to find work.
Unfortunately we are stuck using this company due to our neighborhood. To start, we moved into our neighborhood 5 months ago and have yet to receive our trash/recycle bins, even though we have repeatedly called about it. I am constantly told “you are on the next delivery list” and “we will take note of this”. As a customer, I refuse to pick up my own bins from their facility as others have had to do. I have paid for 5 months of service and still waiting on “products” I should have received week 1. What other business can get away with that? Secondly, what is the purpose of having a trash and recycling bin if the truck picks up both at the same time and goes into the same truck? Still trying to figure that one out.
Once contract began, it took 3 weeks and me flagging down the truck to get trash picked up. For the next few months things went smooth. They changed my pick up day and communicated some issues. No problem. Four months in, and no pick up after a week of trashing piling up along the road. I will endeavor to persevere a little longer because all garbage companies are eventually unreliable (IMO). And the lady seems genuine when she eventually answers or returns a call.
It been two weeks now that our recycling has not been picked. Then the customer service rep lies and will tell you that they’ll be out the following day to pick it up. They also promised that they would do a Saturday pickup and that too was a lie. If my recycling is not pick up by next Wednesday, it will be delivered to your parking lot along with your recycling bin
To say that this is the worst company i have ever needed to deal with would be an understatement. I have lost count in the past 9 months that i been waiting for my trash can to be deliver of how many times i have called and been told that my container would be deliver that same day or im next on their list. At this point i dont even know how is this an excisting company. Im discusted that i have no other choice, but to keep waiting for a service that seems like it will never happen. The owner of this company honestly does not give a $hit About their costumers.
If I could give this company 0 stars I would the service is HORRIBLE..... Trash was suppose to be picked up twice a week...we were lucky to get service once a month I would highly recommend using a different service . Had to call in weekly to find out why they had not picked up and got the same song and dance every week that they would be here tomorrow.... well tomorrow never comes then you get to look at trash on the road for up to 2 weeks at a time just getting a bigger and bigger pile just ridiculous and VERY unprofessional !!!

I have used Texas Pride for over three months now and had not received my trash can even after several phone calls requesting the can. Their representative Sonja noticed all my work orders requesting the can so decided to take it upon herself to drive to my house and deliver the trash can herself. She went above and beyond. She is such a sweetheart and very professional. Every company needs a Sonja.. Because of her I decided to continue using Texas Pride. Thank you Sonja. By the way Sonja gets 10 stars🌟
This is the worst trash company I have ever had to deal with. For the last 3 months, the workers basically show up whenever they feel like it to collect trash. Its rarely on their scheduled day. They pick and choose what they want to throw in the back of the truck. Regardless if its on your curb or not, if they dont want to load it, they simply dont and it gets left on your curb. That goes for furniture, or even trash bags. I will be requesting that our neighborhood find another company .
Really disappointed with how our business with Texas Pride has gone down. The last 2 months we have had consistent missed scheduled pickups and no shows. We were initially trying to be understanding due to the freeze but the lack of communication and false promises is what ended our relationship with them. First we were told, trucks were down, then we were told there was a shortage of labor. If they would have kept their promise on a reschedule pickup date, we would have been fine with that as long as we were all made aware of the next pick up so that our neighbors could get their trash out in time but this did not happen. Very unfortunate but weve moved on to Farmers Solid Waste and look forward to supporting this local family owned business.
Our old neighborhood used this company for trash service and I often noticed that the men who picked our trash up twice a week were fast, thorough, and friendly. They are really hard workers. Its true that they did break the lids off of our trash cans, but that really wasnt a big deal in the big picture. The lids still fit on top of the cans just fine. We have since moved out of the city and into the country where we cant get any trash service at all, so be thankful for what you have, when you have it.
I signed up for garbage and recycle pickup curbside. I cant count how many days they did not pick sometimes not even for a week. Saw them dump the recycle can in with the regular trash multiple times. Call to complain to be told they would speak to those running the route. I am tired of the garbage cans sitting in front of my of my house days at a time because they tell me when I call they are coming that day. Canceled my service. I do not recommend this company.
Switched from Town and Country almost a year ago when they sold their business to Santek thinking they had poor service. Texas Pride promised to pick up on Tuesdays and Fridays with Recycle to be picked up on Friday. They have probably missed picking up our trash and recycle 50% of the time. Over the past month they have been almost non-existent. Our trash and recycle sit out at the road for weeks. It is unsightly and smelly. They don’t answer the phone and don’t respond to service issues submitted on their website. Steer clear of this company!
Awful! If we want to keep it short. I have no choice but to use TPD but two weeks of no pick up with the only response. We are trying to get a truck there. TWO WEEKS THOUGH? The raccoons and dogs are viscous. It’s been two weeks. I’m disappointed
I write this as my full trash can sits at the end of my driveway having not been picked up today ( my regularly scheduled trash day). I would give them 0 stars if possible. I changed to Texas Pride in October of 2020. They are regularly late and/or missing trash days, but the “recycling” that they say they provide is a JOKE. No exaggeration, my one full recycle bin sat at the end of my driveway from October 1st until the week of Christmas before it was ever emptied ( for the first time). During that time, I called at least 10 times. Each time I was told the same thing—they will put in a work order or “ I will personally call”. In November, I told them I no longer wanted their so called recycling service because it clearly didn’t exist. I requested that they come pick up the recycling bin. I left it at the end of my driveway. Between waiting for them to empty the recycling bin and the time waiting for them to come take the recycling bin, the recycling bin literally sat at the end of my driveway from October 1st 2020 until March 1st 2021—6 MONTHS!!!! ( with about 4 more calls in between) But it gets better—THEY NEVER PICKED UP THE RECYCLING BIN! I just gave up and pulled it inside my garage. Imagine my surprise when the second week in March, I come home to find ANOTHER recycling bin in my driveway. I’ve determined that English must be a second language for these folks. In one of my many phone calls I was told that the area where I live is the owner’s “special pet” because he lives nearby. I wish I knew where so I could personally return his 2 recycling bins to him. Don’t walk, turn away and RUN!!!
We use them for commercial service and they simply cannot be counted on to keep their schedule. No one has time to consistently be chasing after trash pick up. They had ONE JOB - and failed.
Every Friday night for weeks now each house in the neighborhood puts their recycling out at the curb. Every Saturday comes and goes with those recycling bins with Texas Pride stamped on the side still sitting full at the curb. Sunday comes and goes with those same bins still sitting there. Multiple phones calls from multiple residents are made. Messages posted on the website go unanswered. Then finally those bins are picked up, yet it all happens again the next weekend. New residents go months without bins being delivered, even after multiple calls requesting them. We are all forced to pay for this service that continually fails us. Poorly managed. I have no idea how there are 4 star reviews for this company. 1 star is being generous.
This company is just unreliable. The only consistency they have showed is that every month we have missed pick up days and in most of them they wont even do it the next day. Horrible service, they simply do not care.
Unfortunately, Texas Pride has been going down hill since I signed up last year. My trash sits out on the street for multiple days at a time, sometimes even weeks before someone comes to pick it up. My recycle has been placed “on pause” for the month of June, so I haven’t been able to recycle anything this month. I also, don’t get the correct bill when they send me the invoice. Ever time I call and ask what’s going on, they just apologize and say they are trying to fix the problem. I’m saddened because they started off amazing, but I can’t keep my trash on the street without knowing if it’ll get picked up or not. I also, really need a company that recycles… I hope it changes fast, because we are about to switch companies.
Texas Pride was unable to stick to their pick up schedule. We pay for them to pick up twice per week. they almost always missed at least one of the days. Trash would sit at the street all week waiting to be picked up. We also paid for recycling, many weeks they would not pick up recycling at all. When you could actually get someone to return a phone call or email, they would tell you to leave the cans at the street, someone was coming the next day. But it was days, sometimes weeks, before they came to pick up. I cancelled my service before I was charged for the next quarter. I was told I would not be charged, but they have charged me anyway. Plus their cans are still sitting at the end of my driveway waiting to be picked up. I signed up with a new company and had new cans in my driveway within HOURS but it takes Texas Pride WEEKS to do literally anything. So disappointing, especially considering the company name.
For a couple of months now they have been very sketch about picking up in our neighborhood. Skipping streets, skipping houses, or not showing up at all. Saying they will come the next day and then don’t show up that day either. Terrible customer service. Really terrible.
The WORST company ever! Random price increases without notice before hand and misses pickups so much I should be paying half of what I do. The company should be renamed Texas Shame.
It has been over 3.5 months with no recycling picked up. I emailed customer service she now ignores my emails, my service issues are ignored, no one answers phone calls. Trash is picked up on time, but recycling isnt but my neighbors is?? I have yet to see my credit for missed service (its been almost a month since I was issued one), but after this quarter I am done.
My subdivision has used Texas Pride for a few months now. For the past 2 weeks they have not picked up trash consistently on the designated days twice a week. Lack of follow through on promises to send someone to pickup trash. We’ve gone a full week with no pickups. I’ll post again in a few months to see if they improve.
I had a little billing issue that I expected to be addressed this week, but Crystal emailed me at 8:30 pm on Sunday evening to tell me that all had been resolved. In a 24/7 world, that kind of service has come to be expected but rarely received - kudos to Crystal!
Finally got ahold of someone professional, friendly and informative! Thank you Haley! A true asset to the company. Everyone I have spoken to in the last 6 weeks has been rude and/or dismissive.No supervisor called even though that was promised each time.Haley is wonderful!
These folks are amazing. Rachel answers questions fast and prompt. The drivers always wave and put my bin back properly... not in the ditch... and even after the freeze never missed a beat!
They were a great company. When it was time to cancel my services it was quick and easy. Rachel was very informative and helpful
Took over 2 months to get a container from them and have missed multiple pickups. They have not picked up trash in my neighborhood for 2 weeks straight and the only thing customer service can tell me is they are in the area and it should be picked up I cancelled service 2 days ago and have yet to receive email confirmation. If you cant service an area dont send your salespeople to that area. They have been the absolute worst! Never got a credit for missed service months ago which was multiple times. Hard to get anyone on the phone and when you do they just tell you what you want to hear. What a joke! Switched to Farmers and they dropped off a container the same day and also picked up all the trash that Texas Pride neglected to pickup.
I am so pleased with our trash company in our neighborhood. I am a new homeowner and just moved in my neighborhood and there was a long wait for a trash can. I spoke with a supervisor Donna Gaston and she personally put a brand new 80 gallon trash can in her car and drove it to my home!! I have never seen customer service like this in my life and it was much appreciated! The workers are also excellent! I was running late bringing the trash to the curb and two of the workers hopped off the truck and personally helped me bring my all trash from my garage! This is such an excellent company and def helps make this move in process a lot easier! Thank you for tour excellent services!!
They have missed 2 pick ups in a row. Everyone in our neighborhood that has service with this company has full cans sitting at the end of their driveway. If you dont want your trash to pile up go with another company.
What is going on..? Second week in a row that my recycling has not been picked up. It’s embarrassing and unprofessional? Where is the accountability? Paying full price for an almost non-existent service? It’s been too long for this to continue to happen? Where is the recovery plan to redeem yourselves to your customers?
Ive had good luck with their Chat feature. However I whish they would send out more service updates, like for recyclables.
Poor customer service... Very hard to talk to a actual person with this company. If youre a resident and want to get ahold of them you must leave a message and wait and see if they call you back.
They are never on time, sometimes its been a month before they finally pick up the trash. They never run the same time. And now they never answer there phones or retune calls. The same with the emails. Will never use them again.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I’ve had them over a year now and we have had nothing but problems out of them. We have scheduled pickup on Tuesday’s and Friday’s. At least one of those days are missed every week. When you call, it takes forever to get the to go through and when it does they tell you they will be out that day and still never show up. My cans sit out by my mailbox for 3 days normally until they decide to come get it. Oh and don’t even try to leave a message, they wont return your call. We are just so over it. I wouldn’t recommend their service to ANYONE. It’s actually quite disappointing. Will be canceling services tomorrow and switching to residential!
