I reached out to Conor and his team to help me migrate my email and set up a great system so I could scale my business as needed. They were quick, responsive and always helpful. The best part is that there was no interruption of service, my email continued to flow perfectly. Really happy with the results. Ive had a couple of questions since the migration and their help desk is so fast, always listens to the question, solves it and then follows up. Its wonderful.

I worked for First Call for the better half of a year. I enjoyed my time with this company as they place a tremendous amount of value into their employees as well as their customers. I left First Call to pursue a different career opportunity and during my transition I was treated with respect from my colleagues across the board.I highly recommend First Call to anyone seeking better solutions to IT and/or websites. We are a business customer. 3 severs & 26 PCs.The good: Excellent business support. Very knowledgeable and dedicated techs. 24/7 on call support if you need it. Excellent support if you have a server crash or other clear network crisis.The bad: Very expensive but seems like they are doing all they can to earn their pay; My only real gripe is they are very reluctant to back their hardware sales. If they get you the wrong component (based on their recommendation as technical experts) they will not refund your money if you return it. To be fair we havent bought anything and returned it lately so Im not sure how they are handling these cases currently. Usually their recommendations are spot on so this doesnt come up often.I recommend First Call as an IT service provider for businesses that need robust IT support. If downtime is really expensive for your business I think this is your best option in Missoula. If you are a cottage business who can deal with downtime, it might not be worth the investment for you. Triple check any hardware orders before you accept the contract. If you have a real IT problem that is threatening your business, you will be glad you have First Call.

The business I am happily employed by has used First Call for web design and some support in the past. They are very overpriced compared to other local companies and the quality of work is about what youd expect from your tech savvy younger family members.We found there are other options, such as Gecko Designs for websites or Univision for PC support. There are many, many local companies that provide the same services and I have had better luck with the competition.

They charge insane prices for basic services and are generally average or below average at best at what they do. Some employees are very talented, others are useless.The sales team will place massive markups on equipment and always bids very high on labor intensive projects.The management and ownership are more concerned with lining their pockets than anything else.Average pay here is $10-15 an hour, when the lowest hourly rate they charge is $125.Notice that the only 5 star reviews are from First Call employees, or employees of BASS Accounting, which is a directly affiliated business partner.

ALERT! Consumer Beware! Our choice to use First Call has been a disaster.Steer clear unless you enjoy being talked down to, belittled, and yelled at by the customer service guy (Alex), all while creating further problems for you.I bought a very expensive workstation for architectural design purposes about a year ago from First Call and had them set up the system. I was given a small gift certificate for First Call and decided to use it for set up in my home. I could tell that this was bothersome at the time, but I was also a paying customer. Having been in the Mac world for years prior to this station, I had trusted that the disgruntled technician sent out to me had set it up accordingly. He said he had installed a security system and I mistakenly trusted that he had. He was setting things up, but didnt even attempt to clue me in on the process of what he was doing. We were speaking different languages and he didnt care that I had questions and wanted answers. When I called a week later for advice, hed quit and no one could help to answer my questions.Then, last week, surprise! Total meltdown of the computer. I take it in and the technician finds all sorts of attacks on it. Being without my computer takes a huge toll on my efficiency. I brought the tower in on Wednesday and couldnt get it back until the following Monday. When explaining the issues, the technician told me that a Microsoft Security System had been put on the computer but never activated. Great. They gave me a handout of how to minimize the threat of attacks, including emphasizing that I should never download programs from the internet.After reuniting with my computer, and under project deadlines, I come to find that they had removed all basic Microsoft programs essential to the functioning of the computer: Word, Excel, etc, and did not reinstall anything. I couldnt access any of my files, edit them, or even write a note. When I called, Alex answered the phone and proceeded to tell me that I could bring the tower back in and they would eventually get to it. When I asked if someone could come to my office and reinstall what needed to be reinstalled, he told me that under no circumstances could he spare one of his guys for my problem, saying, he needs them here. When I asked if there was anything I could do, he suggested I download free x, y, and z programs off of the internet (?!). When I pointed out to him the serious inconvenience this has caused because they have allowed a computer to go out of their service door that essentially doesnt function, he proceeded to belittle me, talk down to me, and then escalated into yelling at me.I hung up the phone and will not be back after receiving the horrible level of service that I experienced. I dont trust that they will perform the tasks that they claim they have done / will do, and I honestly dont trust that they would treat my computer or me well at all.I understand there is a lot to know in IT service and repair but First Call did absolutely nothing to make me feel like they were delivering honest service to my small business. The man on the phone not only disrespected me, but was also rolling his eyes at the customer he was on the phone with when I had gone in person to pick up my system (while I was waiting for over 20 minutes for my technician to come out of the restroom).Disgraceful, Dishonest, and Disrespectful should be First Calls slogan.
