I called twice and asked for an appointment to fix our stove. They asked me to call back 24 hours later each time and stated they were unable to schedule it at this time. After 30 seconds on the website I found that they do not actually service Western Montana. Not recommended.Edit: after contacting me because of this review, Sears attempted to find an authorized repairman in the area, but confirmed that they do not service this area.My rating remains the same, not recommended, but they did at least try to resolve things.
They have nothing...their answers to everything is go on the Internet
THIS LOCATION HAS BEEN PERMANENTLY CLOSED FOR OVER 4 MONTHS. THERE IS NOT A SEARS AT THIS LOCATION.
Appointment was made 40 days in advance, confirmed via email in the morning, less than an hour later, notified again that it was cancelled and I needed to reschedule. Called and she said the technician would call in an hour to reschedule. No call.Called again and rescheduled to 10/1 - a week later. That one was cancelled as well and rescheduled for 10/3 between 8 and noon.He showed up promptly at 8:06 but didnt do anything. Pulled refrigerator away from wall to see if it was dusty or not. Pushed back into place.Used what looked like my BBQ temperature probe to check temperature but the probe wasnt plugged into a device for readings.A complete waste of time and money.
Other than the fact that we had to wait 2 months before a tech could get here, we were very happy with the service. The technician called the morning of arrival with an eta and arrived on time. He was able to fix the lawnmower on the a spot, so we did not have to go through any further delay waiting for parts. Overall, very satisfied with the Sears warranty program. Thank you.
Repairmen were fine. Refridetator had an intermittent power issue. The wall receptical was bad on the lower half. Easy diagnosis. The low review is based on the aggressive sales of the appliance warranty. I was asked from two different departments of Sears to purchase the appliance warranty. They were pushy and obviously driven bybad managers to sell a warranty. It seemed predatory and an easy trap for vulnerable folks.
Its been two weeks and not completed yet bu thanks for asking :)
Service person was very knowledgeable - professional and courteous. You could tell he had the skill set to take care of the issue. Repair was quick and very thorough. A very good experience except for the cost (of the part)
So far so good. However, twice theyve shown up without me making an appointment. I am not sure how this is happening but I guess its better that they show up to often rather than not enough.
How about having someone from MONTANA THAT SPEAKS ENGLISH ANSWER THE PHONE.
Cant rate because this 20 year old range is not fixable. Not the technicians fault because this range has been looked at several times for this problem. Does not keep a consistent heat. After set, whether for 30 minutes or 4 hours, drops down to a lower heat and not kicking on to keep the heat consistent that was set, leaving the food not cooked properly which can be a danger with pork or chicken. The temperature setting has been calibrated back to normal and parts replaced but has not made a difference. (The technician is a 5 star technician), but it wont let me post without typing at least 1 star. Thank you
Tech was on time, courteous and efficient. Found the problem and had the part on hand. Stove was up and running in no time. Sears should really tout its service department more. In an age where everything is purchased over the internet or at some box store, a reliable service department and staff is nearly impossible to find.
The quality of service and prompt response was superior! We have enjoyed Sears products and superior employees for years. Yes, I and many family members can say the same!
The Sears Home Services Technician out of Bozeman was very knowledgeable and professional; however, the new motor for the Bosch dishwasher arrived via UPS - broken! Not UPS fault as it was not properly packed and wrapped by the shipping person - just kind tossed into a cardboard box with some loosely wrapped paper. We had to decline service.
Still waiting (2mon) for the correct part to fix my water heater!!! not happy. FINALLY after the waiting for the right part, they honored a new water heater! over 2 months of cold water. lets see how long it takes to get reimbursed!!
Poor, repair men arrived and installed parts and left immediately. Repair did NOT work. If they had stayed five minutes they would have known! Had a very difficult time getting another appointment. sears is very difficult to work with. Took 4 months to finial get freezer working.
A repairman came to fix my garden tractor. He was timely, friendly, informative and completed the job to our satisfaction. He was a great representative for Sears. Will be glad to refer the Sears service agreement to others.
We had our ice maker dispenser repaired. It worked for three days and quit again. They ordered the part and returned to put it in. It was discovered by the repairman that it was the wrong part and also a used one. We are again waiting for the right part and not too happy. However, we have always had great results with Sears service department and especially with the service people. We are sure this is unusual.
The dishwasher isnt draining properly but the technician ran his diagnostics and it drained well. After he left I couldnt get it to drain when I ran a load until I waited a day. I still dont know whats causing it.
Not at the place it says on the map and when you call the mail box is full
The technician called before he arrived, then arrived on time. He was polite, efficient and competent. He analysed the issue, had a suitable replacement part with him and fixed the problem in less than an hour. You cant ask for better.
Perfect!! Came in a timely manner - so social and friendly. Worked quickly and efficiently. He answered all my questions perfectly. Thank you!
We won’t turn to Sears again. We had a good experience with the repairman, Dean, who did our work. He was professional, thorough, and pleasant—and this wasn’t a delightful job, including his having to manually defrost our bottom-freezer refrigerator twice. It was twice because the electronic circuit board needed to be ordered for replacement, with a one week delay for completion of the job, during which the ‘frig frosted back up, causing temperatures to soar. This parts delay was probably unavoidable, but another problem from that first service visit—causing far heavier re-frosting—was not: In re-installing the freezer door after the first and onerous manual defrosting, Dean somehow got the door on a little wrong—apparently a common thing with these Amanas—and the door popped off its track the next time we opened it, leaving the right side gaping open about an inch when closed. Since we couldn’t ourselves correct this, we called Sears Home Service back that next day. We were offered only a return visit to correct the door problem FIVE DAYS LATER. I asked for a supervisor, who could do no better. He said he’d put us on a Priority List to get a return visit sooner—but nothing came of this. Also, in pleading for a sooner visit, it came out after at least 20 minutes of talking with the supervisor that their record of our service showed no indication we’d ever had an actual first visit, let alone that we’d already paid $249 for work now badly needing prompt correction. I had to provide info from our receipt for him to believe there had even been a first service visit. But the worst part was waiting for five days for the correction of original work to occur—a fix that took, as it turned out, approximately two minutes. Our conclusion: The repairman was excellent. But the Sears nationally-centralized management system for all this was inflexible and lousy, costing us almost a week of worry, poor refrigerator functioning, and loss of food.
The repairman did a fine job. Our only complaint is the method used to determine a lemon. We average 2(!) new doors per year while your policy requires 1 year with 3. This machine has been an expensive proposition, a true lemon!
Scott always has a smile on his face no matter what the problem is! He has been here a few times for different appliances and my treadmillAlways gets them up and running !
Our repairman was on time, courteous and professional. He had the dryer apart in the blink of an eye and the repair completed in less then 40 minutes. I give him a 10!
Very efficient, no disruption to my work environment (the washer/dryer is located at my office)...very pleased!
Telephone communication with A&E was poor due to their poor listening and English abilities. On the other hand, the tech did a great job, was very proficient and through.
I was able to get an appointment for two days after I called. Dave was fast and did a great job.
Repair man was courteous, friendly and did a thorough job of checking out the problem. He is an asset to Sears.
Very goodThe service man was very good. No problems at allThank you
The serviceman phoned to verify arrival time, was able to make the diagnosis and repair quickly and was clear about the costs before he started. This was very satisfactory.
A&E did a maintenance check on my refrigerator and washer on July 11,2016 and the service was great.
Scott the washer/dryer repair man was very professional and kind. I really appreciated his willingness to let me watch him work so I could figure out what was wrong with my leaking washing machine and get it fixed. He could have easily replaced the part in question which was gunked up with mineral deposits but it would have cost 8$ for the part another 80$ for labor and taken 2 weeks to get the part in and we didnt want to wait but with his helpful information I was able to take the part out myself and clean it and put it back. No more leaking! Yay! I will go with Sears again should I have any more complicated issues.
Had to wait a week for an appointment, then that repairman didnt carry the needed replacement pump, so it was another 10-days to get one mailed to me. When the part & repairman merged all was quickly repaired.
We bought the extended warranty with our washer. Our washer quit working on May 27th. It is now June 26th and we still do not have a working washer. We had one technician come out and diagnose the problem and order repair parts. A different technician come out and install those parts and claim it was fixed. I out in a load of laundry immediately and it did the same exact problem. I immediately called the technician directly and left a message and Sears but they could reschedule me until the following week. The same technician came back again and rediafnosed the problem, but had to order more parts. So now we are just waiting for the new parts to be installed. This is ridiculous.
Great service. Fixed my dryer timely and professionally.
Service tech was on time serviced my washer everything went good.
We had our yearly warranty service done to our satisfaction.
The service was supurb! Our represenative called and arrived at the designated time, he checked out our ice maker and did his magic, it was not as bad as we had thought and by the time he felt we had our first few ice cubes falling.I am very pleased and satisified with the quality of the service and our represenative was fantastic.Thank you SEARS!
The wait for the appointment was rather long. The service man was great! Fixed in one day.
Fantastic! The gentleman was great and very helpful.
Thank you for home service o my Sears appliances! I appreciate the skill, speed, and knowledge of the repair person.
Knowledgable, professional. cant imagine any better service
Outstanding. On time, quick, diagnosed and fixed the problem. Totally satisfied.
So far so good. Thank you
Repaired my refrigerator and did a great jog.
Professional and qualified repairman. He quickly solved the problem and we are pleased.
Rich was very nice and did a good job
Very Pleasant, Freindly Service Person, Repaired the brake problem and was gone
Great repair and preventive maintenance work!
Sears has the worst repair service. This is the second time they cancelled my appointment on the day of service. It took a month to get this appointment. Last year I had to have them back because the so called repair didn’t work and my lawn tractor still didn’t work.
Not open
Excellent service, on time, fast and pleasant technician!
Google has posted a building and business which is not affiliated with Sears Appliance Repair. Sears Appliance Repair has contracted with various appliance repair shops in town. I was totally ripped off by a repair business who took my 80 dollars without making any repairs. Sears will not help me get the information I need so that I can communicate with the business.
The man who came to our house was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem in a few minutes. The icemaker is now working like it should.
Sears Appliance canceled multiple appointments, and has terrible outsourced customer service. Would avoid using them if other appliance repair companies are available.
Good guy and good service
Excellent in all aspects!
Best service in the business!
A repair man came out and reattached the chute to the deck.
Outstanding, on time, explaining what repair that was accomplished.
We called because the ice maker is not operating. after checking the unit over we still are not getting any ice
Professional and efficient
Annual maintenance in dryer not repair
The mechanic was super!
Very knowledgeable!
Excellent
