Thank you to Leonardo Xavier, Salvador Trevino, and the people who train here because they helped me become a better person physically and mentally. It is a friendly and welcoming environment. You also get a good workout in and learn self defense techniques that are practical and applicable so that when the situation comes when you need to defend yourself or your loved ones, youll know what to do. These are some of the reasons why I have been coming back here for over 8 years.

LX Elite is my home away from home. From the very first visit I was made to feel welcomed by the instructor, Sal Treviño and the other students. Any questions I had were answered and the instruction was excellent and at an easy to learn pace. The curriculum is self-defense versus competition oriented and is perfect for a hobbyist like myself. Not that a competitive BJJ practitioner wouldnt benefit from the program. Sal Treviño is a great instructor who not only makes the curriculum as easy as possible to learn and understand but also takes the time to put it into real world scenarios to show its applicability or even to show if a particular technique isnt particularly suited to the street. I highly recommend this school.

I would recommend this academy to anyone interested in learning practical, traditional, and effective self defense in a safe and friendly environment. I have benefited immensely losing over 50 lbs so far since joining while gaining alot of self confidence that I can protect myself and my loved ones in the unfortunate event of a physical confrontation. This is a place for people of all ages and physically fitness levels where everyone is looking to help one another.

This June I completed 7 years of training at this gym. very friendly environment and legit self defense classes/techniques. Overall I’ve grown a lot since I started training jiujitsu professor Leonardo and Salvador Treviño are very good instructors and good people. I recommend anybody to come try it out
