I go to Gold and Braid to see my absolute favorite stylist Laurel W. I have been a client of hers for 10+ years, she has kept me fresh through my college years and well into my professional working life, and now as a new mom. She is attentive and spends time carefully consulting with me prior to the cut/color and is successful in achieving what I ask of her. We have gone pink, natural brown, haircut transformations from long to shoulder length bobs, breakup bangs, and everything in between. I receive so many compliments after seeing Laurel, and many of my close friends have sat in her chair as a result. She is a gem and I feel like a million $ when I leave. Thank you Laurel! :) Also note, the salon itself is bright, airy, and buzzing with energy. The stylists use high quality products.

Loree Davison is the Best!I’ve been going to her for about 15 years! My sister in law recommended her, and I loved her hair, so I thought I’d give Loree a try! At my first appointment I found out that Loree was a color specialist! Well, I hit the jackpot! I have red hair and it isn’t easy to keep or maintain since it can fade easily if not done right. All I can tell you is that I get at LEAST a compliment a week about my hair! Even an older gentleman who helped me at a hardware store said “I really like your hair”!

LOVE this place! I saw Katie and she will be my go-to stylist for cut and color now! She took the time to listen, and did exactly what I asked. She clearly cared! The space was also very clean, spread out, and felt safe!

I have been going to Amrah for years! She is amazing and love what she does with my hair. With short curly hair, its hard to find someone who understands that curly hair has different needs compared to straight hair.

I went there for the first time to get my hair cut by Dani and loved the whole experience! Dani is an excellent hairstylist, she comes very recommended, is very professional, sweet and attentive. I spent a great moment with her and the salon is beautifully designed. I definitely recommend it!

I dont live in SoCal anymore so now I fly to get my hair cut by Vanessa Simas.I have been seeing her for my haircuts almost exclusively since 2011, and I say almost exclusively because I tried to find a replacement whenever I moved to a new city. Oftentimes I just ended up flying to SoCal to have Vanessa fix other hairdressers mistakes.I am Korean and have an unusually dense and thick, stubborn hair and even the hairdressers at a Korean salon couldnt figure out how to manage my hair. Only with Vanessa I get asked all the time where I get my hair done.I have referred over 10 of my friends to her and every single person has left her chair extremely happy with her service. We all had different hair textures, hair density, hair thickness and fashion styles. Vanessa respects your personal style and really listens in to what you are looking for with patience, and makes it look perfect each time.I strongly recommend Vanessa to you, especially if you have hard to manage hair. She is simply the best!

Im thrilled Gold & Braid Salon now offers waxing services! I was kindly greeted at the front desk and had a relaxing few minutes in the waiting area. As I gazed around, I felt myself smile. This salon is adorable! It has hints of life, with real plants sprinkled throughout, along with touches of gold and mid-century modern furniture.Even though the space is quite welcoming and pleasing to the eye, Im here to talk about Anna. ;-) In my eight years of getting Brazilian waxes, Ive never met someone who does a job as thorough as Anna AND has great people skills. Shes a delight to be around and I hardly even notice Im getting hairs yanked out. Anna has been the first waxer to truly help me with my ingrown hairs. Im so happy to know the best Brazilian waxer in Orange County! Thanks, Anna!
