Great store. Good selection of products. They were busy but the Assistant manager (John I think?) did a great job getting to everyone as quickly as possible.

Leslie’s pool supply Mission viejo was a great experience and John was super helpful and knowledgeable to be able to hide me in the right direction. Highly recommended.

I’m a loyal customer to this location for many years. I’ve been to this store since the 90’s when we purchased our first house in San Juan Capistrano that had a pool. Although it has been very much understaffed throughout the years, I’ve always packed my patience and been understanding. I didn’t realize that my patience were needed for my visit today since it’s was blatantly obvious of my issue. My pool cleaner that I purchased from this location was needing some maintenance. I removed it from my pool and brought it to this location. I was greeted very friendly and explained that I needed some parts for my pool cleaner. The associate handled the cleaner and promptly told me what I needed to repair it. I was a bit confused because the parts he suggested where driving the front wheels of my cleaner, when the issues was clearly that the rear wheels that weren’t being driven. I suggested that he look again so I didn’t have to make multiple trips and he got upset that I was questioning him. He eventually told me that the rear wheels on my Hayward Phoenix were not really needed and the parts he suggested will fix my problem. I tried multiple times to show him that the front wheels were ok, and the issue was the rear wheels, and he increasingly got agitated with me. Now, I’m pretty good at defusing a situation and turning it the right direction, but I felt that this was not worth my effort. I returned home and disassembled the unit and found that the wheel bearings and rear drive shafts had worn excessively and needed maintenance. I had visited the Lake Forest store to get some individual parts as to not have to deal with the associate at mission viejo again. I was treated very kindly there and they did everything to help me. I did end up returning to this location to get the wheel bearings that the other store did not have in stock and was treated well the second time. I feel that the person that helped me the first time in Mission Viejo may have a great deal of knowledge, however they need to understand that not every issue has a uniform fix. Sometimes there needs to be a little more listening to fully understand the concern. Ultimately the parts that we’re suggested would not have fixed my concern. Luckily I packed my patience today and figured the issue out myself. It saddens me that people in this position don’t consider how much it impacts the average person to have to return multiple times to solve their concerns. I hope that this person will see this and understand that I was ultimately I’m not writing this to call him out because he was incorrect in his diagnosis. I would like him to consider that maybe there are multiple fixes for the concern, and maybe the customer may have some valuable information to help them with the diagnosis.

A little expensive but has what I need when Im desperate.

I want let everyone know that Johns customer service is superb and above beyond. He understands customers need, especially in special circumstances. I have been to nearby Leslie pool store but I really glad I visited this store and met the amazing John!

I come here all the time. They test my water and give me good recommendations on all my pool needs.

Been going here for 10 years-and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Theres typically only one or 2 people staffed, so you may have to wait a bit depending on what day and time you go.

The customer service at leslies is so bad. And the prices are so high. Go to home depot or buy online.
