I went in for acupuncture, and what I got from her was so much more! She sat with me for an hour to just see how I was doing as a new mom and how I was adapting, and it felt like I was talking to a friend Ive known for years! It felt nice to talk to someone about all these new changes and some stress I had been feeling. Angela did some spiritual healing before my acupuncture, and she really went the extra mile! I left feeling so positive and my milk supply doubled. Excited to see her again! I also want to add the facility is so peaceful, relaxing, clean, and the staff is so friendly. I highly recommend her to new moms coping with the challenges that come after having a baby.

I started as a patient in Angelas original office back in 2011 and have nothing but great things to write about concerning Angela Kung, Charlie (Angelas small dog) and the Clinic and Wellness Center.There are very few health practitioners out there that are genuinely caring and involved as Angela is with the patients under her care.Other patients have said she is phenomenal and excellent. I most certainly agree.Acupuncture is inexplicably but undeniably effective. Western medicine cant explain why it works, but Dr. Kung will show you that it does.Acupuncture needles are microscopically thin and I can hardly feel anything when they are placed just under the surface of your skin. Trust me. Occasionally, a needle may cause a slight minor pain, but even that feels like a light rubber band snap to the wrist. A pittance compared to how much better you feel after the treatment is complete.I would highly recommend Angela Kung to my family and friends looking for an alternative to Western medical treatments for pain, stress, etc.

Always loved this place until my last visit. Since I can’t get there by 5:00 p.m., I always ask for a 5:30 p.m. appointment but I guess they no longer exist. The receptionist offered me a 5:00 p.m. appointment, but I said there wasn’t any way I could be there on time and was told that 5ish was o.k. Since I am fastidious about being on time, I was unsure about this. First time I came in at 5ish was O.K. since they were running late. The second time I came in late was a nightmare, I was hurried in which was o.k. since I knew I was later than 5 p.m.; the only reason I was late was because the receptionist told me 5ish was o.k. this time too. Angela comes in at the end of the session and says she has a patient she is doing spiritual healing with and she has stalled her as long as she can and once she starts that she can’t leave, so I sit up for her to take the pins out when I do that I see the clock which says exactly 6:00 p.m. which is supposed to be the time for the spiritual appointment. Angela takes the pins out but accidentally leaves one in my ear which I didn’t notice until I took my shirt off at home which catches it, hurts my ear, and then bleeds a little. That visit made me feel like a piece of garbage that was deliberately infringing on the time of a spiritual healing. The people who request spiritual healing pay $200 an hour so I get it, they are the cash cows and I am not but if Angela hadn’t told me about that patient and just removed the pins I would have been none the wiser. However, now I feel like I am pond scum in the world of the rich and famous. Due to the fact the acupuncture has always been good and so has the customer service until this last incident I am giving this practice 4 stars, but fair warning to you if you are not paying if you are not paying for spiritual healing and even though you have been told by the staff it is o.k. to be late even when you usually never have ever been late before for anything, anywhere, you will be unceremoniously dumped out. For a place supposedly proclaims love, I never felt more hated in my life than that day.

I have been going to Angela for years and absolutely love her!! She is extremely gifted and has helped me overcome many physical ailments doctors could not understand, diagnose, or treat. Equally as important she has helped me overcome a lot of mental and emotional issues, as well! There is a feeling of calm and serenity whenever I enter her office and a level of trust I never imagined I could have with a healthcare provider given my past experience. She listens, evaluates, and heals more and more with each visit. I strongly believe in holistic medicine when practiced by the right person for you, as with anything. Coming to Angela has become part of my journey of growth to a healthier mind and body. I must mentioned I drive all the way from The South Bay to MV once a month to see Angela - goes to show how wonderful she is at what she does!

I think like most, perhaps, I was a little hesitant at first. I had a long history of chronic back pain (13.5 years active duty Marine Corps Infantry) and was running low on options. VA gave me pain killers, and that was about it. I decided to try acupuncture and it has been an amazing experience. Everything about Angela, and her place is relaxing, comfortable, and amazing. Highly recommended.

I keep getting requests to rate my experience, so here it is. The level of effectiveness amongst the therapists is inconsistent. I sent an email regarding concerns about this as well as issues with scheduling and my insurance. My email went ignored.I would also like to comment about the push to buy Purium products as it is a pyramid scheme. In my opinion, it seems unprofessional for an acupuncture office.

Its been a while but I never had a chance to write a review. I was 41 weeks and 1 day pregnant and miserable and was hoping that someone could help me get things started. I saw Erin (I really hope that was her name!) and she did accupuncture/pressure and taught me some techniques on how to let go of fears I was having about labor. That was around 4pm June 4th. 4 am June 5th I woke up with contractions and used the techniques she taught me during labor to have a fully natural, peaceful birth! I could not recommend them more.

Great place and great people. Relaxing and really helped with my back problems.
