I have been receiving phone calls from your telemarketers for over three months now, telling them that due to scheduling conflicts I am not able to take a tour to view your properties. I have been hassled by one woman and for the life of me cant remember her name. Today she called me and being so upset at getting her calls I hung up. She then text me from HER PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER TO SAY I WAS RUDE! who does something like that? I told her I would report her, and she said go ahead. Like she wont be reprimanded for her actions. I have never been this harassed nor has any telemarketer I have dealt with in the past done this to me. Is it even legal to do something like that? I am appalled at her actions and since I cant remember her name I will leave the number she called from in this email. If I get one more call from this company, I will obtain a lawyer and I will sue for harassment. You really need to make some changes on how your telemarketers handle your business.

GEVC is a complete waste of time and money do not! I mean dooooooo not!!!! sign up with this company. I purchased a 2 year trial package where I was told. I would be able to go anywhere in the world for the next to years using my points. Come to find out that was a lie. You can only go to resorts that will take the 10000 points they give Every year, Keep in mind the nice resorts are about 600000 points. I highly suggest you do not sign up with this company. Take your free gift at run!

Fraud! I was promised vouchers for a Catalina trip after viewing their presentation. This was the agreement when I signed up to view a presentation. 2 months and many calls later, I have not received the gift promised for my time. They are now claiming I did not attend even though I signed in and received a certificate of attendance. It is a complete waste of time to trust this company. I would go to a more trustworthy timeshare.

Wish I could give no stars! Lets see where I can start with the problems with this company. I think the best way is to just make a list. What happened:I bought a time share. I am very new to timeshares, this was my first one. I attended a meeting with GEVC where they give you all the information on buying a time share. Well let me just say that they only give you the information that is required for them to sell it. This list below is some of the information they do not tell you and also why I will not ever deal with them again. And actually I now have my time share up for sale. Contact me if you would like to buy it!Sequence of events:a. Three years after I purchased my time share I get a notice in the mail stating that my time share has been forfeited. In a panic, I doubled checked my bank account to make sure that my monthly payments for the mortgage had been getting paid. The payments were still coming out, the account was paid up to date and everything.b. I then called GEVC (the phone number on my notification). I asked them why my timeshare had been forfeited. They said that they have been attempting to notify me for three years regarding my unpaid maintenance fee. (Let me make it clear that out of all honesty I had no clue what a maintenance fee was or that it was an item that I had to pay. I do admit that I can make mistakes and I could have missed this. That is not why I am here writing this review) I then looked up in my original documents to see where I had missed this information. Sure enough in the smallest print there it was. It is nice that they tell you that upfront.c. I have no problem paying something I owe! I then offered to make a payment plan of 3-4 payments to catch this payment up to date. They informed me that because the account status is under forfeiture they could not take payments. I would have to pay it in one lump sum. I asked why and this is what they told me. We do not have the man power to put that much effort into taking a payment plan. We would first have to flip the account to a positive status with the loan company (involving escrow). Meaning we would have to call them and ask them to do it! so I asked if we could do that and they told me We cant do that because each time you do a payment the account would automatically flip back to forfeiture after one week until the full balance is paid. So I said ok lets do that. They then told me Sir we do not have the man power to do that. They then explained that even if they tried they usually just say no because of the amount of work that it would be.Let me get this straight it is to much work, so, NO Last I check these people are there because they get a paycheck and are told to do their job and the paycheck will keep landing in their account. In this case they see something that requires them to do something out of their norm and they run away from it.d. I was also informed that there is another maintenance fee with RCI points and rewards. This fee was also annual and unknown to me. Well in my search through my paperwork I still cannot find this one. The representative told me that my whole account would be frozen due to this not being paid. They count on people logging on to the RCI system and seeing the notification that it needs to be paid in order to do a booking. In my case I was purposely saving my points for 3-4 years so I could do a really great vacation in a few years. He then throws this at me Well those points do not automatically roll over. You have to do maintenance on that account my paying the fee and telling them you want to save your points. But that is handled through RCI directly.*Keep in mind that I had not looked through my paperwork during this conversation and I am very open to my mistakes when I make them. I let the representative know that this is news to me, I will have to look at my paperwork to see what I had missed. Since this conversation I have read every single page of my paperwork and no where does this fee to RCI exist in writingI hit character max on this review :(

DO NOT do this. It is the worst scam ever. I feel foolish. I will not stop until I get my money back. I will yelp everyday. I will go to every travel show and stand at their booth. I am considering a law suit for the complete blatant misrepresentation of the services. Joyce Heller was my sales manager.

Make no mistake, the offer they give you will pay off only in about 5 years!GEVC is a broker company for RCI. Therefore, as you can understand, they both has to make money.RCI signs a long term lease on vacation villas. Long term leases traditionally 2-3 times cheaper than short-term leases, because they provide lessor with a stable income and he doesnt need to rip lessees off to pay off the times when villas will be empty due to a bad season. Thus, for example, during the summer vacation period when week will cost you about $1800+air fare fees, RCI provides you with the villa for, probably, around $1000-$1200+air fare fees. The catch for the RCI is that under the long term lease they are likely to pay for this week only about $600-$800, or even less. So, yes, they will make money on you.GEVC as a financial company provides you financing for membership fee with APR above 20%. This is how GEVC makes their living. Plus, somehow GEVC and RCI share membership fees. Probably, GEVC gets a commission from memberships sold.Originally you can get up to 3 weeks for low prices plus 1 week for points and low price. Thus, your savings within a year may be up to $1500-$2000. But you already paid $10000 (or however they discounted it) membership fee and you pay about $140 yearly. Therefore, it will take several years for this deal to pay off for you. But after, say 5 years of using the vacations provided by GEVC RCI you will payoff the membership fee with the deals you get on vacations. So from the 6 year and so on you will get nicely discounted vacations with RCI indefinitely. I say indefinitely because RCI will still get profits from your purchases, and this guarantees that RCI will not just disappear.Be careful with your expectations. This deal is a win-win offer, but it will take years to pay off. It is not magic. It is a legitimate business. And you are to decide whether it is a good choice for you at the moment or not. But dont expect unicorns and cloud castles. It will take minimum 5 years to start ripening all the benefits of this offer and for most of us, who cannot afford 3-4 weeks of vacation every year, it will be even longer.

BEWARE!!! Like many of you who saw the sign like me on a billboard for Hawaii for $99...PAY CLOSE ATTENTION! This billboard is for a timeshare presentation! They are very deceptive and cunning in their sales tactics! I actually signed a contract with this place in 2014 through Global Exchange Vacation Club (GEVC), but I cancelled within a 7-day period as allowed by CA law. FYI, GEVC is associated with Resort Vacations Inc., which they sign you up for RCI Points. During the presentation, I was informed that I could travel practically anywhere in the world with my membership. I was even told I could get airfare for up to 25% off for being a RCI member. In fact, my sales rep informed me that I could stay anywhere for my 10,000 points allotted each year; however, upon investigating by actually talking with RCI support, I came to realize the deception GEVC was feeding me. The 10,000 points can ONLY get you a 7 day stay for last minute resorts when booking within a 30 day window. Of course, there are scores of places around the world that you can book last minute, but as everyone knows that when you book a hotel/resort last minute, you are going to pay sky rocket airfare prices!Even though my sales rep said that the company does NOT hide anything...I noticed that when I was signing a contract, there was something hidden about membership dues during the 2nd year of membership of $124 and $124 for every year thereafter. When I brought this to my sales reps attention, he said, Didnt I tell you that? followed by, I will see about getting that taken care of. Of course, as soon as he said these very words, I knew he was lying to me and that it would never be taken care of. Now here is the best part, when you sign up, you are NOT allowed to have access to what you paid for, for a period of time up to 2 months. This means you cannot gain access to the RCI web site or book anything. I believe with all my heart that the reason why they dont give you what you pay for, for 2 months is to wait for any possible escape clauses in contracts and California law. When I did some research online about this place, it yield many different business names with different individuals and phone numbers. It looks very shady to me. For your information about rights, check out CA Business and Professions Code sections 11235, 11238, & 11239.Lastly, the prices do NOT add up! They make everything sound way way overpriced! Its just not worth it in the end. Let me spell out to you, various fees involved with this company. You have the original price they try to sell you on the contract...starting around $10,000. Of course, if you reject this offer, they bring someone else over who will try and sell it to you for a few thousand dollars off this price. And of course, if you reject this offer, you get to go to the final closer who tried to sell it for even cheaper than the last price offered. So, if you stay 7 days during your first year of membership, you pay $209 for a 7-day last minute booking + whatever the jacked up rate of airfare is + the original contract price you paid. You have to ask yourself if it is all worth it in the end. What about the crappy Hawaii offer they give to you for attending the presentation? You get a 2 night stay in Oahu with round-trip airfare for two people, which probably will cost you around $300, but here is the catch...you must leave on a Tuesday and return 2-days later on a Thursday. Also, departure time is anywhere from 1pm-7pm and return from 6am-1pm. DO THE MATH...that is only 1 full day to spend in Hawaii. This means you get to spend 8+ hours just in waiting for your plane and travel and departure your first day/night, THEN you get to spend 8+ hours just in waiting for your plane and travel and departure when you leave Oahu. You sacrifice at least 16 hours of your time and at least $300 to only spend one full day on Oahu...is it even worth it?

I was offered a trip to Hawaii accommodations and air included. I was not sold with their presentation. There were many things unclear. I refused to sign, and after two hours of super loud music,I decided to leave. I was then taken to a 3rd person who still tried to convince me to buy the timeshare... to make things worse, I was told they will upgrade me for a week anywhere in the world on a one of their resorts...that I was not going to like the Hawaii trip, because they will put me in a hotel room and had to travel from Tuesday to Thursday. I knew then, that I just wasted 4 hours of my Saturday...The Gift they gave me ask for a $75.00 cashiers check, and is not a gift, if I have to pay ahead for nothing! Dont waste your time........stay away from scammers............
