Mike and his team have been so helpful through the whole process. Had a rear valve seal leak which ended up becoming a lot bigger of an issue. Mike kept me updated throughout the process giving me calls and updates. These guys have been a pleasure to work with — would highly recommend.

My old van had a coolant leak which I suspected had to do with the water pump. I’m out of work right now because of the pandemic, so money is tight. I considered going to my regular mechanic and made an appt for later this week, but I have also had some crazy high estimates for work (ex: $500+ for front brakes and instead, I got them done at another place for under $300), so I wanted to explore other options. I decided to do a google search and call around to get estimates for water pump replacement. Angel’s had good reviews online, and it was the first place I called. I spoke to Mike, who was very kind and professional on the phone. He kindly offered a complimentary check to look over the van and get an estimate for the problem.(Note: my regular mechanic did NOT offer this.) I really appreciated that. He said I could bring in the van first thing in the morning, and they would have an answer for me about the problem by noon. I was surprised when he called me back only an hour later and he explained the problem, the exact price(which was a very fair price), and an option to provide me with an inexpensive rental car(If I wanted), since the van would take the rest of the day to fix. Water pump replacement is a pain in the a** with that van, so I was very pleased with the price, and the replacement was even finished by 3pm! I’m just amazed at how FAST, HONEST, HASSLE-FREE, and FAIRLY-PRICED my services were, and I WILL be coming back for future needs. Thank you to Mike and the team! **Disclaimer: I just got the van back, so I’m assuming it was a job well done and time will tell, but upon inquiry about the warranty for the new pump and service, Mike told me to come back anytime if I have any problems with it.** A+, guys.

These guys are honest and trustworthy. I am using them for all my company and personal vehicles. The last visit was a truly remarkable. My work van ( Ford transit 250) I bought at Fam Vans. After 3 days they did a transmission service, I started to hear a rubbing metal noise. So I went to Fam Vans and they blamed another issue so they order the parts. So I went to Tuttle Click Ford for oil change and mentioned to them and they said they are not sure where the noise is coming from, so they recommended to bring back to Fam Vans. Since I felt theyre not sure I had a bad feelings about there findings, I went to Angels because I trusted them. They spent almost 3 hrs. of tracing and theyre about to give up but due to there team effort they found the issues. Since its just bolts that Fam Vans did not put it back properly, they just charge me 1 hr. labor. This is my testimony for them that theyre not for money they are truly an Angels. A good people and fits to there name. The two owners are name Mike and Michael which names are came from Saint Michael the Archangel. Awesome guys and truly thankful. I highly recommend and very worth to check out for any service you want. 10 starts rated.

Made good on the warranty. Fast and honest. My only disappointment is they only went with OEM parts after we discussed heavy duty parts.

They were so helpful. My wifes car had a problem with her breaks and they squeezed us in and took care of it. The price seemed reasonable but I felt very comfortable with their honesty. I didnt feel like I was getting taken advantage of and they took such pride even making one final adjustment after they told me it was done because there was still a little noise when reversing. I came 2 days after christmas eve and needed bleed my brake system because of air. with no apointment, they helped right away, very friendly guy Tong did a amazing service and explained to me many thing around that problem. When it came to payment, Mike did not charged me at all for their service. I wanted to leave some money for workers so I did. Overall very very good experience and modest, honest guys are always trying to do the best to help you, not like the others - fill their pockets.. What an awesome experience. I recently purchased a 2005 Cadillac and I have had nothing but problems with it. I had taken the car into Jiffy Lube to get the transmission flushed and the next day the gears started to slip when trying to put it into drive it would sound as if I was leaving parts on the road. I caller up Angels and spoke to Michael. He was so nice and helpful, he even offered to send a tow truck. Theyre honest and respectful and you can definitely tell their customers are valued and appreciated. Their pricing is awesome and the turn around time was exception. I was referred to Angels Transmission by a neighbor and having read all their great reviews on Yelp and Google decided to give them a try for transmission service and front breaks on my Toyota Camry. They not only took care of transmission and front breaks but also discovered that one of the engine vacuum hoses was disconnected causing engine light to be on (it had been on for a while!) and fixed that also, at no charge. They service was excellent and prices very reasonable. I will be recommending Michael and his team at Angels El Toro Transmission to friends and family for any auto repair and service.

I got exactly what I went there for, they never tried to sell other services that I didnt need. I felt very comfortable and appreciated as a customer. The one thing about owning a Dodge Cummings diesel truck is that the parts of the truck wear out before the engine. My truck has 245k miles now and this is the second time Angel’s El Toro Transmission has rebuilt my transmission. Their rebuild went longer than the original from Dodge! Great work and communication. Definitely the “go to” place to fix your transmission.

Did a great job at a great price and paid for 2 days of my car rental!

I had a leak in my CV axle, so they replaced the old seal with a new one. However 2 days later it was still leaking so I took it back, and they said we need to keep it for 2 days to try and figure it out lucky I have back up transportation. Turns out I needed a new axle, so they installed the new axle and it worked! These guys had my truck for 2 days and only changed my for the cost of the part.....with no profit for them..... I checked on it.Bottom line....they back up their work!!!I would recommend this place.

Angels saved me from a costly trans repair. My truck has 168k on it and the trans started to slip. Fearing a rebuild I took it to them on recommendation of Rincon truck repair. They were totally honest and did just a service on the trans. Since the are honest and have integrity, they have been in business 26 years.Excellent shop and Ill be back. Angels El Toro Transmission is by far the BEST auto repair shop in the area! I took my 2013 Ford Escape there to get a 3rd opinion on replacing the transmission after being told by a local Ford dealership and another shop that I needed to replace the transmissiom at cost a of roughly $4-$5000.I dropped it off at 7am and was told it would be noon before they could get a chance to check it out. So I called at 12 and they told me they havent had a chance to look at it. They promised to call back asap. Two hours later they called and immeditaely I braced myself for the news. The first thing they said was we took your car on 10-12 mile test drive and we believe that your car is low on transmission fluid. I said what, nobody take a car on a test drive of 10-12 miles, right? They said yes, we feel its low on fluid.In order for them to confirm their findings they would need to drain the tranny fluid out and replace it. I said do what you need. They called back a little later and said those famous words your car is ready but I recomend an oil change. I said okay, whats the final cost going to be and he said $227.87. I said you have to be kidding and he said no $227.87. I thought to myself how do you go from $5000 to $227.87. I asked are you sure its fixed? They said drive it for a week and get back to them. Well, its been 3 weeks now and the transmission is preforming like it was new. No slipping or hesitation.When I picked up my Escape I also asked for a estimate for a tune-up. They quoted me a number that is $500 cheaper that the dealership.So, how do you thank someone who just saved you $4-5000.00?
