Its a nice property with a fair management team. The loud lawn maintenance is like every day. I dont get it. This is why I dont give them all 5 stars. They should really reduce that to maybe 2 time a week, not 5 or 6 times. Residents need peace and quietness.
Great place if you want to hear loud lawn maintenance 7 days a week for a property that could easily be done in 2-3. We found ants in your bathrooms and had to get them to spray multiple times, overly loud air conditioning units if you want to enjoy a moment on your porch. I cannot believe this place charges like an upscale apartment complex when they do not even compare. The only reason they are allowed to charge that much is because it’s located in a wealthy area. Not a good experience
Eddy left an excellent impression of himself as a manager: responsive, responsible and it was clear that he really cares about our opinion. Thanks for the service. P.S In the end, we chose a different building, as it is closer to work, but this building made a great impression!)
My move in date was 2/21, and i came in and paid my full amount like i was supposed to. From the beginning i really like this community and the staff/management. This has drastically changed. On my first tour and look at the community Luna and the female manager took me on a tour, they were very kind and well informed between the two of them. I asked which spot was ours and luna pointed towards the ones closest to our apartment (once we sign our lease however we find out our parking is not in front of the apartment as we were shown).I showed up on 2/23 to do my walk through check. Previously i had asked Luna to have the apartment cleaned as it was dirty and when my girlfriend put her hand on the floors it came up black. When i interacted with the only gentlemen that works in the office on another day, i had him show my my garage that we would be getting. There was stuff filled in the garage and i asked about it, and he assured me that it would be moved before my move in date of 2/21.I showed up around 5pm on the 23rd with my girlfriend, who is also on the lease, and we decide to check the garage first on the inspection list. To my surprise it is filled with junk, and i was guaranteed this would be taken care of by my move in date of the 21st which i paid for.Immediately i went to talk to the manager about the garage, rightfully so quite ticked off. She said that she thought we were moving in on the 26th. My move in date was the 21st, and i paid it on the 21st for the prorated remainder of the month. The manager word for word said that i was moving in on the 26th, so they thought they had time to clear the garage essentially.. . The sales guy said it would be done on the 21st and i understand mistakes happen, but the manager said it was their stuff stored in it. This was clearly leftovers of a family.Additionally, COX was still connected from the previous tenants and i was unable to setup my transfer despite calling COX, and they let me know i needed to let the apartment know. The manager insisted this is not her responsibility. I am moving into your apartment, shouldnt my utilities be available for me to use?On top of all this, i decide to go see the inside of the apartment which after complaining about the garage and asked they remove the apartment and garage pro rate for the inconvenience, the manager said 100% our apartment was ready and that she would not reduce our prorate. We decided to check out the apartment, and it should have been cleaned as i had asked Luna to have it taken care of before our move in date. The floors were slept, but all the mess into the corners. There was cobwebs and dead bugs. There was an awful paint job with paint on the floor. The doors and window sills were gross and brownish yellow, and in addition to that there was human hair all over the apartment.. in the corners, in the bathtub, stuck to the kitchen cabinets.. there was even soap / shampoo stuck to the shower and inside the tubs. This place was not cleaned, and they charge a cleaning fee upon move out. I dont understand.I am moving from another Irvine Apartment Company and the experience has been horrendous. I do not recommend moving here or to any of their properties. I have included pictures of the apartment and garage upon my arrival two days into my lease.I have lived at their Las Flores property and loved it, but again management and errors continue to ruin the experience. The apartment was absolutely disgusting and for the over priced amount we are paying it should have been perfect come move in date, and the manager should have never said i thought you guys were moving in on the 26th because as soon as my lease started on the 21st and they took the money from my cashiers check it meant the apartment was mine, and all of this should have been taken care of already. Its called customer service.
Clean and quiet property
From our first tour at Vista Real to our lease signing and ongoing, Nipsy, Tom and the whole maintenance team have been truly amazing! They respond fast to all messages and are very professional throughout the business. Tom and Nipsy both continue to go above and beyond to accommodate us and make Vista Real a very nice place to live. The grounds are extremely well kept. Thanks for being awesome guys. Keep up the work!
Weve been there almost 3 years after owning my own home for 15+ years. As far as living in apartments go, its not bad. Quiet most of the time except for kids playing which doesnt bother me at all. Feels pretty safe. Very prompt when reporting any kind of maintenance issue. Grounds are nicely kept up. My two complaints are its too expensive, and the parking can be a problem. Instead of parking on the hill, people park behind me all the time and make it difficult to get in and out. Other than that they do a decent job there.
Its unfortunate to see the unpleasant reviews from some of the tenants, but lets focus on some positives and be fair. My family and I have lived here for a few years now and have not experienced any REAL problems. The office has been accommodating, courteous and helpful. Our maintenance requests have been promptly addressed and the service is professional. In addition, the overall landscape and scenery is beautiful! I hope any former issues have been resolved and everyone is satisfied!
👎🏻Don’t ever even try to visit this community we have been living here for couple years it used to be a very nice place when we first got here but in this past year we had so many issues because of the loud neighbors, parking space issue and dangerous situations that happened here such as falling the roofs of the parking spaces... super super super!! Rude and unhelpful manager and staff they only nice to you if you want to sign as a new clients. I went to office to talk to a manager about my problem that i had with the parking spaces and she literally said that we have to move out after 10 years instead of answering my questions, which i think its not her place to say to us what to do !!! its not a comfortable place anymore! All of my family members lives within the irvine compony communities now but this one is getting wore and worse everyday !!I wouldn’t even put that one star! :)
Horrible apartment complex. March will be a year for us here and its just been one problem after another. The premises is very dirty in the grass areas because no one picks up after their dog after their dog poops... Dog poop everywhere! The barbecues dont get cleaned... I needed to use one for my daughters birthday once, opened the one by my house and there was rotten chicken and flies it was disgusting. When I first moved in I had roaches in my kitchen and had them come to spray several times and the issue was never resolved. I had to empty all my cabinets more than 3 times after moving in here. My apartment wasnt properly cleaned... There are still finger prints fro the last tenants on all the blinds and they were black... That was fun cleaning. Not to mention the endless bugs that enter the apartment all house of the day we had pincher bugs all over our carpets. Not to mention I have to pull my front door towards me just to unlock my door because the lock gets stuck even after having the so called maintenance staff come out to fix it. The bathroom sink was leaking and got all my things wet in the master bathroom and I had to replace makeup and other items. (This happened twice) our newest problem is the heater here. It does not work. I just put in my 6th request to have this fixed this month! They come in and fix it and then two days later it breaks. The one that takes he cake is the parking issue here! Its horrible! After 5pm there is no where to park! My boyfriend and I work all day... We have one carport to park in and one of us has to beat the other home to snag a parking space so the other doesnt have to park at the bottom of the hill and walk home. This is an issue even with the parking permits they issued last year... Whats the point of parking permits if you cant get parking!? This complex is run by incompetent people. I will not renew my lease here no matter how good the price is. It is not worth it to deal with so many problems in under a year of living here. I would give 0 stars if I could.Ps.. When I was first signing my lease papers a woman came in the office yelling at the staff because the maintenance team change her locks without her consent and management had to step in and apologize... This was my first red flag. Get it together!!!
All I have to say is thank you to Salvador and his crew! Whenever I need maintenance in the apartment he always is there 👏🏽
After a flood in our kitchen we got roaches and when we told the staff thery werent shocked and were trying to talk us out of having them spray when we moved we had to throw away alll of our kitchen appliances and my PS4 which got fried because of roaches.Re: so this apartment complex decided to not send us the final bill and we got a lovely call from a collection agency. (there was a $500 dollar bill for cement cleaning) Im sure this apartment is going to say that we werent clean but I have had OCD since I was 7 and taking medication. Also I work in the food service industry so I like my kitchen spotless at all times. The only thing I have left to say is my mother said that she rented apartments from the Irvine company for over 30 years and the disrespect we have received from this place is appallingly also I wonder if there going to take down the 16 photos Ihave of roaches again.
I have lived with Irvine company apartments for many years and there are two locations who have put my family and I in financial hardship. If I could give this review zero stars, I would. The first place - Vista Real in Mission Viejo had a big spider infestation. When returning from a trip I found multiple spiders in my unit. For the 11 months I lived there we called exterminators multiple times and sprayed ourselves but nothing worked. I found a spider in my bed and that was the end of it. Unfortunately, we had to end our lease and according to one of the leasing office employees our unit would be the only one bedroom available and will be filled quickly. So we decided to do a rent responsible option which ended up horrible. The apartment was not marketed appropriately to show that it was available and we paid up until our lease was over (which was another 2 months). I had no idea I could fight for the unlivable condition of spiders and I feel foolish that the employees would sway me by saying our apartment would be filled. Nipsy and Luna are the two employees who were part of this situation and did not help.Second - Centerpointe- I am having to break my lease because I have had no job opportunities here and need to relocate for my career and financially. I have requested that the office find a middle ground with me to allow me to pay one extra month instead of two months (this is the lease break option. The other option for rent responsible is too risky with our lease ending next year and with our experience with Vista Real). I spoke with the community manager which took a few days to respond and the assistant manager Brennan who was no help at all. Irvine Company Apartments Corporate could not even transfer me to someone who could help. I spoke with customer service, Ron, who only reviewed notes of my conversations with the community manager at my location.Brennan was no help and would not try to work with me and at the end of our conversation, he agreed to the statement that as an employee of Centerpointe and Irvine Company Apartments he was ok to leave his resident in financial hardship and allow his resident to get a hit on their credit score. This is very unfortunate because I have had great interactions with Irvine Company before and the actions of these employees showed they do not fight for their residents and have no power to help and are waiting with open arms for a check. Please think twice before signing a lease with Irvine Company Apartments.
Horrible management. The manager Jonnie, the assistant Manager Juan and the maintenance manager Jesse act like gangsters. They enter apartments with no authorization (at least 3 different residents I spoke with); attack residents and harass them. The Irvine Company customer service is a joke. Also the property sits right next to the freeway and the electric towers so the air quality is very poor and the electric tower being so close is shown to cause leukemia and cancer.
