Very great customer service me and my soon to be wife had delt with Jacob and Ricky. they are the best i highly recommend you talk to one of them when trying to make a purchase. Both of them had pointed us in the right direction of exactly what my fiance was dreaming she had always imagine. We could not be any happier. We purchased my ring four years ago from here and it is absolutely gorgeous!! Very high quality and the warranty coverage is amazing. Just today we had quite the experience with my ring. I had been putting off getting it resized. My own fault. We went up there to get it resized and add a anniversary band. We ended up having it cut off at the ER. But Jerry, the general manager and Ashley a sales associate were extremely helpful! They helped me through my tears of cutting my dream ring off and were very understanding about how emotional and embarrassed I was. 10/10 recommend them both!! My original ring will be fixed (covered by the warranty) & set between my 2 new bands.

Visited this location to have the battery in my daughter’s watch replaced. I was greeted by the very polite staff who introduced me to their ‘Watch King’ (I am embarrassed to say I’ve forgotten his name). We chatted a bit about the watch (it’s to help young kids learn) and some of the challenges we’ve had in trying to teach a kiddo (he has a young nephew) how to read one. Thankfully they had the battery and he was able to replace it.The service was fast and the Watch King was great to talk to. As if that wasn’t enough, instead of charging me for his time and the part needed, I was asked if I would donate money to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital instead. I had no idea this company was associated with the hospital, and I was more than happy to do so.Now, don’t think you can walk in here and get away with donating to the hospital instead of paying for that new Tag Heuer or bling around your neck. But if you want very friendly service from people who will treat you well, and a company who helps out kiddos in need, this is your place. Many thanks the Jared and their Watch King.

Making the rounds looking for a ring to propose (again) to my wife of 30 years. RIcky was the first and only salesman of all the jewelry stores I went to take the time to explain diamonds. The extra moments he took was so helpful and appreciated. As we looked at possibilities he called Kenny over and the two of them took the time andshowed me all kinds of rings. Long story short, they helped me design a stunning ring for my beautiful lady that brought tears to the eyes. I cant thank Ricky Chacon and Kenny Recktenwall enough for their help!

On Dec 28, I took a Tiger Eye bracelet into the store hoping to have it repaired. I told Jacob Turner, the Gen. Manager, that I noticed one like mine in his case and I was told that they could send it out for repair. To my surprise he asked an associate to get the other bracket and that he would simply exchange it since it had been his experience that the repair being sought (retrying the string) wouldn’t be repaired as he has sent in others like it before mine.When I explained to him that I didn’t purchase mine from him he said that he would take care of it.All I can say is Jared just earned more of my business due to Jacob’s no nonsense customer service approach.

Yesterday I purchased an engagement ring from them. I received the most sensational service I’ve ever had in any shopping experience from Jacob and Kenny. I didn’t really know what I was looking for specifically and they helped me to land on the perfect ring with a reasonable finance option. It was so much less stressful than I imagined because of these two. I will 100% be back to purchase things for my queen and myself. Thanks again SO much. Incredible.

0 Stars if I could - Went in last week looking for something specific (that they had on their website). Was greeted, showed the associate (dont remember his name) what I wanted, he grabbed it, and we were ready to check out. As we are checking out, they bring this bigger guy over (Jerry?) to demean how bad of a choice I made. I was firm on my budget, but he(Jerry) pushed for something $1,000s over my budget....pushed and pushed until I made the purchase. (While upping my credit that was available on my in store card.) I returned the item a few days later and will never shop at Jared again. I suggest going to a local, family run jeweler. (Thats what I ended up doing)Also when making the return, Jerry gave an extremely hard time and made the return process equally miserable**If you look at my review history, Ive made 11 previous reviews, all 5 stars. I do not like leaving negative reviews but this was so unacceptable that I needed to share!**

I am SO please with the new GM Jacob at the mishawka Jared! I was in there several months ago to get my rings cleaned and I had questions about sizing and soldering my rings. The gentlemen that helped looked at my three rings to look at and after several questions and minutes later he just said there was nothing they could do, I would just have to buy new rings. Well I just got married a year ago so that wasn’t going to happens. BUT TODAY I walk in and Jacob waits on me for my rings cleaning and through talking tells me that anything is possible and that he can absolutely do what I need for sizing and soldering. He said he has been with the company for 10 years but new to that store and I couldn’t be more pleased with him! Leadership at its finest right there! HIGHLY recommend him. Thanks Jacob

The service here is exceptional and the staff are very professional. My wedding band/engagement rings were not purchased from Jared’s, but I needed to have some work done to correct the spacing between some of the diamonds. Jose worked on my ring and did an AMAZING job! It looks perfect. Will never take my ring anywhere else. Thank you!

My husband decided to upgrade my ring and after thinking we found one at a competitor, we walked into Jared only because we were eating next door.We walked in and we instantly received help from Lidia. She was so sweet and let me have my space as requested. After a few minutes she brought over Betty and instantly I thought oh here comes the sales. I was in retail sales and know this turnover process very well. Boy am I glad they did it! Both woman ended up being amazing and gave us VIP treatment. After two visits they helped me find my dream ring and at the price we were trying to stay in.We were not easy clients but we are forever clients because of this experience. My husband and I have been shopping at Jared for the last 4 years. Everytime we have been in we have gotten great service, from the very first time. They helped with special ordering my new engagement ring after my old one from a different jewelry broke. Since then we have bought several other items all of which have been stunningly beautiful as well as very reasonably priced. I will not go to any other jeweler. Hands down the best place!

The selection was far greater than other jewelry stores we visited, and the staff was very helpful to my husband and I both. Neither of us felt pressured into buying our purchase, Betty was patient and very helpful in choosing the perfect wedding set for us. Customer service is terrible. Waited all week for a phone call about a replacement ring. Finally called them only to be told that there was no replacement. Went to return the ring however they do not keep cash at this location. Apparently its how retail work. Staff was very rude and condescending. Will never buy anything there again.

Don’t order the rose gold giraffe necklace. It comes to you in 14k gold because the online store descriptions are not right. The only way to get it is to go to the store and return and order. That defeats the purpose of online ordering.

Went to buy my wife some pretties for her birthday and i was helped as soon as I walked in the door. Josh my salesman was very helpful in finding what I was looking to purchase for her. I would recommend he help you find what your looking for and he was very knowledgeable. My wife loved her presents which made the whole experience worth it. I will be back.

My wife and i walked around and waited for someone to greet us and nobody did because our clothes werent super nice or whatever the reason and if your busy tell me yourbusy dont ignore me becayse ive got tattoos and tore clothing when ive got 6 grand in the bank and was prepared to buy today thanks for nothing never will i ever suggest Jareds to anyone.

Great experience. My wife found the perfect ring after searching many stores. She liked the quality and the price was decent. One reviewer below commented on the pushing of the warranty...really that depends on the salesperson because our person, Natalie, was amazing and didnt push anything. Very professional.

Had a custom piece of jewelry made for my wife. The initial meeting and design if the piece was great. However after that the customer service was terrible. I was told I would receive calls when the piece was at different steps in the making process. I had to call them after a month of waiting just to find out they were waiting on my approval. After that I had to call multiple times just to find out that the person I had spoken to before had told me something that wasnt correct. Only call I ever receive was them telling me it was done.They do have a nice selection and probably would be ok to buy from but I would go somewhere else for a custom or to have jewelry fixed.

Walked around aimlessly without being greeted. We even sat down and no one greeted us. We were buying a wedding set and that was just rude and honestly I felt discriminated against. I will never go there again. Ended up going to Roger & Hollands and bought our wedding set.

So my boyfriend purchased a ring for me this past Christmas. He told the woman I’m a size 5. She showed him the rings in my size. He asked 3 times if it was a size 5 she said yes.He also asked her if it could be resized if needed and she said yes. I received my ring for Christmas and it was two sizes to big! I went into the store shortly after Christmas and was informed that my ring in fact cannot be resized and the closest store would be portage Michigan an hour and 15 minute drive. The gentleman I spoke with at the Mishawaka store said they couldn’t order me a new ring in less I purchased it and then they could exchange it. I called the portage store they told me oh sure we have that ring in your size drove up the next day and I got a size 6 not a 5 ! Today my boyfriend went into the store in Mishawaka and brought home a different ring because they don’t have the original ring that he picked out for me in my size. Needless to say this will be the last time we will be shopping at any Jared!

Went with my boyfriend to look at engagement rings a couple weeks ago. Catherine was patient and helpful, and NOT pushy at all. She helped us find my dream ring (and right within out budget!). We didnt buy that day, but came back to look at the ring again. The second experience with her was just as great as the first. If you dont want to feel pressured, ask for her! She did an awesome job!

Had a lot of trouble getting a ring resized. It took nearly two weeks to get the work done, in which time they revised their estimated completion date EIGHT TIMES!! This leads me to believe that they either A) have no idea what theyre doing, or B) were lying to me the whole time. Additionally, I had a lot of trouble getting them to call me back. They would promise to call back with a status update, and then not do so.Theyre probably fine to buy from, but Id go elsewhere for repair work.---On Saturday, October 20, I took the ring in to be resized and spoke with Abel, an assistant store manager. He told me it would take a little longer than usual because the ring was an antique and needed a little extra work. He told me work would be done on Monday, Oct. 22 by 3:00pm.On Monday at 2:15, Abel called that they had not even begun the work because their jewelers were not capable of doing it (why did he wait until 45 minutes before it was supposed to be done??). He suggested we send it to the Jared in Grand Rapids, MI where there was a more skilled jeweler. Was told work would be done by Wednesday, Oct. 24, and ring would be back in Mishawaka by Friday, Oct. 26.On Wednesday, Oct. 24, I called to check the status of the work. Abel told me the work was done as planned, ring would be back on Friday. Abel would call me when it arrived.Friday, Oct. 26: No call from Abel. I called at end of the day and he had no idea what was happening with the ring--but it had not arrived. I asked him to call Grand Rapids to find out; which he did. The work had not even been started (so why did he tell me it was done on Wednesday??). Now they estimate the ring will be back by Tuesday, Oct. 30. Abel promised someone from store would call me on Monday, Oct. 29 with status update.Monday, Oct. 29: No call from store. I called the store and spoke to Betty, who called the Grand Rapids store and found out the jeweler had not been in that day, so the work was still not done. New estimate was Wednesday, Oct. 31.Tuesday, Oct. 29: Betty called me to tell me work had not been completed, but it would be done Thursday Nov. 1, and the ring would be in Mishawaka by Friday Nov. 2. I told store that I had engagement photos that weekend, and so needed it back by Friday at the latest.Wednesday, Oct. 31: Abel called me and stated new ETA is Tuesday, Nov. 6. I demanded that this issue be escalated to a district or area manager, because Abel was clearly either unwilling or incapable of getting this issue resolved on his own.Thursday, Nov. 1: Received a call from Sandy stating that she had spoken to the Jeweler in Grand Rapids, and the work would be finished that day and ring would be back by Friday, Nov. 2.Friday: Nov. 2: Ring finally arrived back in Mishawaka.

We have been Jared customers since 2010 when we bought our wedding rings at the Aurora, IL. We were told at that time, that my ring should always have the GSI # verified. We moved to Michigan and started going to the Mishawaka, IN store. In five years, I can count the number of times on one hand that the store representative has read back or even acknowledged the GSI number. I have had MULTIPLE conversations with the staff, managers, district managers. When I say multiple, I mean EVERY few months when I go in, I have the same conversation. A few weeks ago. I called and spoke to Sandy (store manager) and told her my issue. She knew who I was and knew my issue. I explained to her I was ready to drive the 6 hour round trip to my original store. Sandy assured me that I would not have another issue. I went in yesterday to have my rings (2) sized. Sandy took good care of me and I told her I’d be back today to pick them up. As I walked in, Sandy was leaving for the day. She assured me that everything was taken care of and bid me a good evening. I went in and was not even acknowledged for more than 5 minutes. Finally, Jen (a sales associate) took my papers and found my rings. She stapled the copies together and asked me to sign. I said no, that she was forgetting something. She looked down and asked if there was another piece I was missing. No. Took two more prompts then me telling her that I need her to read the GSI number. Then I told her the entire story, explaining that she is holding an expensive ring that means a lot to me and anything could have happened in the time that my ring was away from me. She did as I requested but seemed unphased by my comments.I take great care of it and make sure that it is inspected regularly. Moving forward, I will not be returning to the Mishawaka Jared store. I will drive the 6 hours round trip to the Aurora store where I know the sales people will treat my ring and me with respect.
