Dropped off a laptop to have the D/C jack swapped out. While waiting for the part, they didnt proactively contact me to provide an update regarding the repair status. Im giving it 3 stars, minus one star for the fact that I had to reach out to them each week I needed an update and minus another star for a sloppy job putting the laptop back together leaving the gasket hanging out (see photo).UPDATING Review and Changing to 5 StarsWent back to have laptop seal put back and owner explained the person managing the store is no longer working with PC Parametic. I explained the issues, and they were able to provide a much improved level of service and ultimately get the machine back in working order.

Took my daughters iPad in today as a piece from her charger broke off in the port. A member of the PC Paramedic staff (I believe Ryan) took the unit back and within 5-10 minutes had the piece removed. Not only were they quick, but I was not even charged. Great customer service and I highly recommend based on prior work they have done for us as well!

This is a review of the store owner and PC paramedic. They scam and fake reviews! Deleting any negative reviewsWhen I called to complain that my laptop was given back to me broken(The entire back plate had screws damaged and was not holding together) he refused to give me a refund. He then argued with me and said if I did a bad review, he has ways to delete it.. wow!This is a place that is run by an incredibly rude employees and owners who take advantage of people.Please be warned and be incredibly cautious with this company. It took nearly 2 months to get my back plate for my laptop. I had it installed elsewhere.

Either Im the only one this guy tried to steal money from, or people just dont know how easy and cheap it is to fix computers, or he is able to delete negative reviews. Idk, but we will see.The owner is a flat out lying crook. He told my mother that it would cost $155.00 to fix her laptop due to the power/charging port being faulty. The part would cost over $50 but the labor would be intensive because of all the soldering involved, which is understandable as he would have to travel back to 1998 when these parts were actually soldered in place, and Im guessing time travel is not cheap.But if he just stayed in 2020, he certainly could have purchased a part NOT made of solid gold for $5 and plugged it straight into the socket like I did, and it would have cost about $40-$50. And thats AFTER marking up the part by 100%. I did the job in an hour but I was distracted by the TV and my phone. Plus...thats not my profession.So to be clear, a $5 plug-and-play part, and 30 minutes of labor in his shop is $155 because of lies and time travel expenses. Just bring your computers to me and Ill do it for ½ what he charges and still make good money! Idky this guy doesnt just open a time travel business instead. Clearly he dies all of his repairs 20-30 years ago based on his prices. He could make a lot more money than triple-charging people for bogus computer repair.

Fast service & very knowledgeable staff. We had two computers down, back to back, and PC Paramedic got us back in service quickly. If you purchase hardware here, ask questions - you will get honest answers and good advice. Tech changes, so you might get something different from what you had, e.g. solid state drive vs. conventional hard drive. Youll get straight talk about whats going, and they will make sure youre comfortable with the service and purchase.

These guys are AMAZING! Of all the times for my compute freeze, in the middle of a work project!!! They had my computer up and running in hours and they were friendly to boot. I had a phone issue on memorial day and Mike took the time to not only stay late when all other phone repair companies were closed to resolve my issue. upon getting to the house a completely different issue arose and i again called Mike at pc paramedic and he immediately asked me to come in and was able to diagnose and resolve this issue equally as quick. as Mike repaired the phone, Anthony the owner and Ryan introduced themselves and were extremely professional and courteous. I would highly recommend pc paramedics for anyones phone or pc repair.

These guys are the best! They can do just about anything you need IT-related. They are responsive, fast and knowledgeable. Its like having your own in-house IT department. After our work computers crashed, they came in and were able to retrieve everything and then set up a brand new server and build custom computers for us and did all the routing. They were and are magnificent.

Ryan has restored my faith in the company. I did have a bad experience but it was with an employee that had an off day. Which we will have. I totally understand and I forgive the employee and the company for that because I displayed my displeasure and it was taken care of within 10 minutes. I truly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good experience and great prices!

My husband and I are new in town and needed help with computer issues. PCParamedic Computer and Phone Repair personnel were most helpful and went out of their way to resolve our computer problems at a very reasonable cost. They even came home and spent time with me to go over new programs patiently without charging any extra fee. I highly recommend PCParamedic company for all your computer needs. I have used PC Paramedic since they first opened (11 years ago?). Through 3 businesses and my home and parents home, I have suggested them to many many people all who have had a happy experience. First Anthony is wonderful. He explains what is going on and gives you different options depending on your budget. They are quick to respond, know what they are talking about, friendly and easy to work with. If there were 10 stars on they page they would have 10. I priced around and the Paramedics won. Dropping off my iPad for a pulverized screen was easy and fun...they let my son help feed their fish, he loved that. The work done was perfect and the people who do it are great. I will be back with any repairs of this nature...just not too soon for the broken screen.

These people (especially Tony) are wonderful. I had a very complicated install (128 GB RAM, 8 Monitors, 5 hard drives). Due to problems with Windows 10 (could not handle more than 7 monitors), Tony on his own time spent hours trying to diagnose problem and finally was able to successfully install everything right.I have not seen anybody go so out of the way to ensure customer satisfaction.More than satisfied.More than happy to recommend to everyone.

These guys stand behind their work. I took my daughters iPad mini to PC Paramedic in Mint Hill for a screen replacement. The device was pretty banged up, so I wondered whether it could be fixed at all. They made the repair for what I considered to be a fair price. Unfortunately, the home button stopped working after two months of use. Ryan, at PC Paramedic, said their repair was still under warranty; so they put on a new screen & fixed the home button, all at no additional charge. Im very satisfied with their service and happy to recommend them.

Tony has been great from the beginning. My gaming computer was barely running at a snails pace (hard drive was failing) and he stopped by my house that day to diagnose the problem and offer solutions. He took my computer with him and called the following day to confirm options and price range. He has even offered to drop my computer off when fixed to make sure everything is set back up correctly and running smoothly. You have my business anytime!

This place is Awesome, and thanks to looking at these Google reviews before finding this location, I was able to trust that it would be good and I was oh so right:-) Mike helped me and he was so wonderful and very knowledgeable about my laptop issue (the Charger DC jack was shot to heck and had to be repaired)....The turn around time was amazing and it was fixed in a matter of hours and I was able to continue doing my work from my online grad program and can we say the prices are OUT OF THIS WORLD LOVELY:-):-):-)....They even have an old school Pac Man game in the corner that you can sit and play while you wait...Just thought I would throw that in there, lol.....This place ROCKS!!!!!!!!

Every single experience I have had with these guys indicates a lost art. Their technical skill and expertise is second only to their old school customer service. Running a fast and efficient diagnostic on two machines (PC&MAC) indicated several hundred dollars of work needing done. They got me into a new machine for less than I could have imagined! Being a freelance business startup my meager dollars mean I have to make a buffalo nickel fart. This is hands down the place you want your technology. 100%

The staff recovered our data after a weather bolt surged past our surge protector. It was a blessing in disguise. The team upgraded our hardware, enhanced software security, and resynched all devices, tablets, i-phone, and tv networks to optimize performance. We are used to professional IT in our workplace, but this group was exceptional! They have just been designated an Apple authorized service provider. No more indignities at the Genius Bar. Their competence, service and enthusiasm was above and beyond. Perfect location between SouthPark and Ballantyne.

I have used PC Paramedic twice now (for different PC hardware issues) and in both cases they exceeded my expectations. Both issues were repaired within 30 minutes while I waited. They folks are fantastic!

So thankful to Anthony at PC Paramedic for helping us with our wireless issues. My husband can now play Call of Duty without getting angry when the WiFi gets glitchy. My teenage sons can dry their eyes because they now have a super fast internet connection. All thanks to Anthony! He knows the language of computers and was able to assess and fix our problems within an hour! Hes local, hes knowledgeable, hes honest, and hes great. Cant say enough great things about him!

I have been to a lot of the repair stores in the Charlotte area and surrounding areas including Fix-A-Phone, Ubrekaifix, FixyoPhone and CPR to try to repair my iPhone 6s Plus. PC Paramedic and Ryan Garriy have to be the best at what they do. The other places charged me $50 or more everytime to fix something that they didnt even fix. I called Ryan Garrity after hours one night and talked to him about my situation and after hearing my issues Ryan offered to meet me at the store at 11 pm at night so he could fix it right then and there. I didnt want him doing that so he offered to make an appointment with me that Saturday.Ryan Garrity and the crew at PC Paramedic didnt charge me anything to look at the phone after I told them the horrific stories of the other local stores. In the end my phone had a bad part on the motherboard in which PC Paramedic replaced same day for a fraction of what I already payed to 4 different companies. I will be telling every single one of my friends and family about the terrible experience with the 4 other stores the the amazing experience with PC Paramedic.I strongly recommend PC Paramedic to anyone with electronic issues.
