Scott and his team worked really well around my schedule. I had personal conflicts and rather than wait he moved forward with working with my insurance and secured an OEM door for my truck while I finished my plans. Once I dropped the truck off it just a little over a week to get it back but like everywhere else the pandemic hit his workforce so I know he got the truck back to me as quickly as he could. There was a small follow-up issue, I brought the truck in and Scott had it fixed in less than 20 minutes.He also had his team detail the scrapes on the side with the fixed door, polished and shined the entire truck. It look amazing and I’m extremely happy with him and his teams work.

Second time customer at Jeromes, Id recommend this shop to anyone!Jeromes was recommended to me at work for being known for their high quality work, reasonable rates, and their military friendly reputation.The first time I needed their help I had just found that a car wash had left several long scratches across the top and sides of my brand new truck. The manager (Scott) found several more in his inspection, and had every scratch completely removed within a day. When the hours required to fix the truck went beyond the repair quote, Jeromes stuck to their original quote despite my asking to pay for the additional time.Happy with the work on the truck I took my wifes Jeep in months later for paint chips and a broken rear defroster. Local dealerships refused to solder the wiring back to the defroster, first saying they could attempt to do so for $95, then changing their mind and wanting to replace the entire window for $800, Jeromes was all for attempting a repair for a fraction of the cost. In a day they had touched up the paint chips, ordered and applied a soldering kit fix to the rear window defroster for next to nothing.Going above and beyond, Scott also applied a paint matched protective coat to the rusting roll-cage and gave us the touch up paint for future repairs for no additional cost.I cant recommend this place enough, especially to military customers. Excellent customer service, fantastic work, and more than reasonable rates.

I took two trucks here at different times and they did an excellent job. They also have a good warranty on the parts they replaced. They kept me well posted while the trucks were in the shop and they cleaned it up nice before giving it back. I would definitely recommend Jerome’s to anyone in the area. Very impressive job!

Where do I begin? I was referred by two fellow coworkers. Which lead me to trust them with fixing our vehicle. Not being from Minot word of mouth is everything. From start to finish Jerome’s and the staff were not just professional but compassionate as well. Both the manager Scott and owner Jay are hands down the best! Operating in quality and excellence. Being in the military and traveling from place to place, it isn’t easy finding great companies on the first try. I would 100% go back to them for anything. If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I would!

Jeromes has become our Go to place for any type of body work on our vehicles. Over the past 3 years, we have used them 7 times. Each time has been great and NOTHING to complain about. I was first recommended to use Jeromes services from my insurance company and have used them ever since. Quality work, great customer service, just all around great business. Seriously, everytime I have gone to Jeromes I felt like a priority. The first time I visited their business was after a pretty substantial accident where I was sandwiched in between two vehicles that ended up crinkling my trucks frame. They were able to bring my vehicle back from the brink of being totalled. After that a car wash took off my side mirror and they were able to fit me in and fix it in almost no time with very little notice. Finally my hard bak flip tonneau cover broke. Jeromes said it looked like there was no fixing it. I got a few parts, they tried their best to fix it and now it is as good as new. Cant thank them enough! If you are looking for a reliable company, go no further than Jeromes collision!

I had some work done over a rust patch at Jeromes on 10/5 till 10/7. I was quoted 8K to paint my vehicle. 3-4K to paint the bottom half. I don’t know why this company would upsell their service when caranddrivers.com consumers reported, “they spent between $1000 and $3500 for what they described as good-quality, ‘thorough’ paint jobs. According to consumers who reported their prices to the site, it takes at least $2500 to obtain a ‘showroom quality’ paint job.” Called a few shops in LA and they don’t charge as much either. There must be a disconnect here.If I’m paying 8k, my car better have gold plating included.

These guys are quite professional, I enjoy that once they feel your vibe they know exactly how professional they have to be. I like the more laid back joking conversations. They picked up on that and chimed in.They handle everything pretty well. You mostly don’t have a lot to do but pay your deductible.They also warrantee their work for as long as you own your vehicle. Once they actually noticed themselves that they didn’t get the paint quite right “I didn’t even noticed” scheduled it up to correct.

Went above and beyond what I expected!

On my way to SD I hit a deer. I took my vehicle to Jerome’s for the front end repair and had a good experience. I bought a used truck and since I had a good experience I wanted to get my vehicle detailed. Terrible experience. It took 3 days and they didn’t clean the vehicle. AT ALL. Now I understand people get busy over book but they had not done anything to my vehicle in 3 days. Here’s what happened. I go to pick up my truck. They tell me me to wait a minute, 20 minutes later they come back and tell me my vehicles done. All that had been done is my floor mats were soaking wet in the bed of my truck. I go back into the store and tell them nothing was done to my truck and now I have wet floor mats. I’m expecting an apology or an explanation. Instead I’m told I owe them $300. My jaw hits the floor. I couldn’t believe they would charge for not doing anything. I ask them, why would I pay you for not detailing my truck. They assure me that my vehicle was detailed. I get the manger out and he apologizes and tells me to bring my vehicle back and they’d get to it. I tell him I’m only bringing the vehicle back if they detail it for free after this fiasco. Initially he tells me that’s not what he had in mind. He admits to me that they deal with a lot of oil guys who are just used to getting their trucks washed and not really paying attention to detail. I’m floored that they would lie to my face and try and charge me for a vehicle they never detailed but also admit that they don’t do a good job when they do detail vehicles. He later tells me that if I bring my vehicle back they would detail it for free. I think the manger was trying to fix the problem but I will never get over being lied to my face and ask to pay for something that was never done

I brought my car into Jeromes to fix the rear bumper. The customer service was outstanding! I was chauffeured back to my house and was called within a few hours with quotes and questions on what I would like done. When I picked up my car it was in better shape that I brought it in! They even fixed the chips and scratches that were not part of the rear bumper. I was able to inspect my car with the technician before I paid. It seemed like he was more picky about perfection to my car than I was! I would definitely recommend Jeromes and I know Ill go back! Thanks for all you do!!

I purchased a new fender for my truck. I called Jeromes on March 18 2016 to get a quote on getting it painted and installed on my truck. I was told over the phone that it would be around $400.00 and it would take 2 days. They told me to drop my truck off on Tuesday March 22 2016 and they would get me the final estimate and do the repairs. So I dropped my truck off on Tuseday after noon. At that time I met the guy that gave me the estimate he again stated that I would be looking at around $400.00 for the repair. He had me fill out a form and leave them my Truck and the new fender that I had purchased. I received a phone call around noon that next day from another person asking about my truck and if I was getting an estimate and what work I needed done. Shocked at the phone call considering I already gave this information and now it was already 1 of the 2 days originally told, I gave her the same information over the phone. She told me that she would call me back with an estimate. She called back around 4 pm that afternoon and told me that it would be $1032.00. Shocked at the price I explained what I was told from the other guy and the price he gave me of around $400.00. She said she didnt know why I was quoted this price and then told me that labor rates had changed in Minot. I told her that I would be in to pick up my truck and not to do the work as the price had changed by nearly 150%. I arrived around 5 pm to pick up my truck which wasnt ready and still parked in there bay. I asked them for my keys and was told to go back and talk to this lady. She then said that she talked to her manager and they would do the work for $400.00 but that it would not be installed and that they could not guarantee there work. This sounded kind of shady to me and I said not that is not what I was told. So I again asked for my keys and truck. She apologized for the confusion and told me my truck was in the bay and had me back it out.This company should not be quoting over the phone if they can not come close to the price they are stating. I was out a vehicle for 29 hours no work was done and no resolution to the problem. If they are unsure of what it will cost to perform the service they should say that and have you get an estimate before they quote the work. I was verbally promised a service for a price and then received no service. Lastly if you are going to offer to honor the quote you should be willing to also guarantee there work.

Right before Christmas, I got into an accident in a parking lot that completely smashed the front end of my 2010 Jeep Cherokee. Jeromes has always been the body shop I go to, so naturally I brought it there. They never cease to amaze me in terms of speed and quality of work. My car looked brand new and they got it done in two and half weeks despite having two holidays in that time frame. Not only did they fix my cars exterior, they also detailed it! 5/5 stars, two thumbs up, Jeromes is the best!

My brand new Mazda was involved in a hit and run. Jeromes got it in the day it was hit for an estimate, and a week later was in for repairs. It was done earlier than expected, and it looks as good as the day I bought it. They cleaned the interior as well, which I was not expecting but was incredibly thankful for. I spoke directly to the GM Scott, it was so refreshing that he was out and about with the customers. You could tell that he really cared about us and he treated us like family. My horrible situation was made right again thanks to Jeromes.

Great staff, effiecent service, but qaulity of work I expected more. Brought my truck in for a new side of my box installed and painted from a collision. Theres are rust colored spots on the new side all over and the original side on the truck has non of that on the factory paint side. It utterly make me angry seeing it everyday.**Note that this paint is only 2 years old and the rust spots are behind the clear coat also.

A few weeks ago I took my truck to them as they were one of USAAs approved shops and I can see why. Immediately there was an inviting atmosphere and USAA had already contacted them so they had most of the info they needed. They allowed me to leave my Tundra with them with no issues whatsoever.First impression was the comment, you have a beautiful truck and we are going to take care of it and get it looking great again. That already put me at ease. I got frequent updates on the status of my truck and notified when they didnt get parts due to weather which is understandable.Now the real reason for the 5 star rating. They went above and beyond my expectations. My truck looked better than new, there are no signs that it was ever involved in an accident. On top of that they washed the entire truck not just the parts they worked on, cleaned up the interior for me, topped of the washer fluid, and aired the tires up. For me thats service I never expected but was pleasantly surprised. The entire time the staff was very friendly and understanding, even recalling my truck upon seeing me walk in.If I ever need work done again I will definitely see them and I will reccomend them to everyone I know. I dont understand the bad review(s) and believe something else must have happened. Do not allow them to sway you.

When I got my car back, the passenger window didnt work properly. it would roll down after rolling it up. There where unpainted edges on the doors, and the interior was filthy... white paint and body dust compacted in a door speaker and silver paint dust throughout the entire interior. I took it back and dropped it off again. They fixed the windows and cleaned up most of their interior paint dust. I just had to drop it off again because of the same unpainted window edges were still unpainted! This is ridiculous and inconvenient to leave and drop it off again and get another rental car. I work long hours in the military and cant drop it off during the day... very nice people here, but horrible work from a certain technician, poor attention to detail, poor quality assurance, and internal communication. UPDATE JULY 2014: Ive been back 3 times to get the door aligned. And after I got it back the first time, the didnt put plastic down and someone sat in my car with paint dust all over, and proceeded to get my car filthy again. The door was still sticking out like 2 inches, and I took it back yet again. The guy in the back, who was performing the poor work on my car before, proceeded to try and tell me that it was probably from a passenger in my car not closing the door right. His attitude was poor, and he refused to accept responsibility for HIS poor work. I have plenty of pics and video through this whole bad experience. I called his manager over and he took one look at it and couldnt believe the poor work, lousy attention to detail, and horrible quality control. Ive been back so many times to get the door aligned. Additionally, the blending they did to my door is amateur and looks horrible. The color of the door is mismatched and wasnt blended into the quarter panels... that would have made it look more natural instead of an unmatched color on door as it looks right now. Im not sure how it keeps making it out of the shop like this. When I check the car over, its after work, and its usually dark due to the winter. I cant check it out until its light out the next day, and at that point I dont have the rental car anymore. Ill never go back to Jeromes again, even if USAA recommends them. The staff at the front desk are extremely nice and professional, and I feel bad for some of them as the body repair techs in the back make them look bad. (update August 2014) I called USAA to address my concerns, who in turn contacted the owner. He is extremely nice and is doing everything possible to help fix the bad alignment, bad paint on the doors. Im in a rental car currently, and I really hope this is the last time it has to be brought in. Im so frustrated.

Great environment good customer service

Jeromes has a great reputation in Minot and when I had to file a claim through USAA they were my first option, but I learned their priority is only for the customer when it is in their own best interest. At first glance they struck me as an earnest, trustworthy company whos word of mouth credibility proceeded them. I took my vehicle in for an initial evaluation and explained it was for a 3-car accident that had occurred the month prior on the highway in Denver before I moved to Minot and transported my vehicle here on a trailer. I let them know the extent of the damage that had occurred and that although it could be driven, I had not been using the vehicle since it had been driving and handling significantly different after the accident I suspected damage not visible or verifiable to a layperson via an eye inspection. After walking along the vehicle with the inspector they confirmed visible damages and that there could be unseen things as well. They completed the inspection write up and handed me a hard copy that was to be submitted to my insurance company. The copy I was given comprehensively included everything related to the accident that was supposed to be covered and I was told I would likely have to work with my insurance company to have the full repairs authorized because their initial disposition was only to cover damage to the point of impact at the front bumper. The representative at Jeromes told me they would submit their inspection for comprehensive repairs of all damage. A short time later, USAA contacted me and let me know the claim evaluation was submitted and approved, but when I looked at the authorized work it was less than 25% of what was on the copy of the inspection write-up that I received. I figured this was what had been mentioned to be about their disposition to only repair the point of impact. I worked back and forth with USAA and finally found out that a modified version of the initial inspection only listing damage to the front bumper had been submitted to USAA. When I asked USAA about it, they told me that was the only thing Jeromes completed. When I asked Jeromes they told me USAA instructed them to submit a modified claim. USAA vehemently denied this and when I next reached out to Jeromes it was clear there was a general lack of integrity and level of dishonesty occurring at my expense. It appeared Jeromes was complying with USAAs request to minimize the cost of the claim and not jeopardize their standing as a preferred and authorized shop for USAA. After calling them out on it and questioning the entire situation I was instructed by the representative at Jeromes that they couldnt work with me any further and that I had to handle it with USAA.I ultimately ended up moving my vehicle to Johns Auto Body who not only advocated on my behalf with USAA but submitted and authorized a supplemental damage claim to comprehensively cover all damage since Jeromes submitted initial inspection submission had been modified and limited to only what USAA directed. They also covered my deductible.At the end of the day it is apparent that Jeromes values their customers as long as it is to their benefit and wont impact their opportunity to maximize their own business as a preferred shop for insurance company.Jeromes cost me hours of my time in not only resolving the claim with my insurance company but also in being out of a vehicle for upwards of two months. They ultimately displayed a lack of integrity, questionable business practices and that the customer is only a priority when it doesnt compete with their own interests or insurance companies.I would recommend John Auto Body 100% over Jeromes and would advise you to think twice about using their services at all.
