We had an exceptional experience with Kay Tutoring. They were extremely responsive from my very first inquiry email all the way through until my son received his results. They worked within our scheduling limitations to optimize the tutoring opportunities -- which my son did all online. They suggested mid-stream plan adjustments to expand the subject areas being covered with him based feedback from his tutor. He was beyond thrilled when he received his results as he was able to raise his composite score 5 points -- 2 to 3 points above his goal!

Alex B, English tutor, has been an absolute TREMENDOUS addition to my twin sons English studies and I am extremely grateful that they are able to continue working with him this school year.Until COVID, my boys had never used a tutor. Knowing school would not be as robust last year, we looked to Kay Tutoring for assistance thinking it would be for one year while we rode out the COVID storm.Well, one year has passed, but my boys LOVED working with Alex so much they asked if they could continue their weekly sessions. We came to Kay Tutoring based on a recommendation from a friend as my son was beginning to study for the ACT. From the initial consultation Kay was great at answering all of our questions and laying out a detailed plan. They were very realistic that there are no guarantees but if the student puts in the work they should see results. The tutors were super encouraging during each of his sessions and sent out session notes so we as parents could be monitoring progress. They also were genuinely happy and offered congratulations when he reached his goal score. I’m so glad we found Kay Tutoring and when the time comes for my other kids to start studying for the ACT, we will call on Kay again. Their methods and knowledge of test preparation really do work.

Our daughter needed help in getting ready for the English portion of the ACT. She studied with Alex and her score went up 7 points! Two weeks before the ACT test our daughter decided that she needed help with the science portion and after only 3 classes with Jesse she scored 7 points better than on the 1st test. We were very impressed with Kay Tutoring and would strongly recommend their services to others. My daughter liked the tutors and their teaching style. The way this program is set up is very effective in that weak points are focused on to drive up the scores. My daughter went in with a higher score to start but we were very happy that she was able to increase it another 4 points from there.

All 3 of my children have been through Kay Tutoring’s programs over the last few years. I believe in the program for several reasons and have referred more people then I can count. I have seen this program get significant results for my kids --raising their scores between 9-10 points each. This program is one-on-one, which addresses personal needs. Andrea and her well trained staffed have proved time and time again that their methods are effective and kids trust them.Up and above the ACT prep work, the study skills my kids gained from this program was worth the price of the program. I recommend that you do your research and ask a lot of questions before picking an ACT prep program. They are not all equal.

I cannot recommend Kay Tutoring highly enough. We have used them for academic tutoring as well as ACT Prep for both of our children. Andrea Kay and Kay Tutoring were professional and friendly. Both she and Mallory work hard to support families during the whole college entrance exam process. Soon after our baseline assessments, Mallory created a tutoring sequence tailored to each of my daughters specific needs and goals. My favorite part of working with Kay was their tutors. Kay employs tutors who are experts in their subject areas. I was really impressed with the level of engagement and connection they established with my kids. One of my daughters especially loved her English tutor, and was so grateful to learn basic grammar she had never been taught in school. Both of my girls met and exceeded their ACT goals. Andrea took the time to create a plan for us and then the highly skilled tutors at Kay Tutoring worked with my daughter every step of the way, encouraging her to reach her goals in both the ACT and her classes. The test prep homework that the tutors assign is demanding but if the student listens to them and puts in the work, he/she will reap the benefit. I highly recommend them.

Both of my children greatly benefited from Kay Tutoring. The tutors were excellent and took the time to personalize the sessions to the individual. I never felt that the time was wasted with work that could have been done on ones own. My children used Kay Tutoring for ACT prep, college essay writing, and occasional extra help for a hard class at school. Both their ACT score went up at least 5 points. Also, the tutors were able to come to the house occasionally or meet on Skype which helped with transportation challenges. I highly recommend Kay Tutoring.

If I could choose more than 5 stars, I would! We came to Kay Tutoring for Math assistance. Due to a TBI, my son was failing Honors Pre Calculus. A few sessions with his Math tutor and he passed with flying colors. We stayed for tutoring for the ACT and could not be more pleased. Due to his TBI, he was only able to take it 2x to get a reportable score for college application deadlines. The time and attention that Angela & Brian gave to us was wonderful and the tutors our son had were godsends. Their care and concern for our son was genuine and he felt it. They were as ecstatic at our sons end result as he/we were. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
