AVOID AT ALL COST! I Rented a truck here. When I arrived, they didn’t have a truck. They gave me a number to call, and that person told me they emailed me saying that they didn’t have the truck. She was incredibly hostile. She said all of this was my fault and when I challenged her on that, she said she would cancel my order and hung up on me. I’m left speechless.

Literally the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. If you want to rent a a truck and then get a call the NIGHT BEFORE saying the have nothing available for you… then hit up uhaul. Do yourself a favor - save your money and rent elsewhere (not through uhaul because they blow big balls).

Genuinely think this place is run by drug addicts, at least whoever is there today. Went there a few days ago to get boxes it was fine, went to pickup a truck today and experienced the most hostile rental experience ever, didn’t even take the truck. I think they were tweaking or on withdraw. Avoid at all costs. Truly bizarre.

We had reserved a trailer to rent yesterday but due to the design of our trailer hitch we were unable to. As hard as the young man tried, he could not get it secure enough to his satisfaction of safety. I really appreciated that safety was his top priority and that he had the courage to tell me that he did not feel comfortable with the connection and therefore would not let me rent it. Though it was frustrating, I really admire his integrity. We have a 2016 Toureg so be aware of this issue if you own this vehicle.

Terrible experience, rude staff, strong alchohol smell on staff, aggressive and angry staff towards customers. Beware!!!!Felt very unsafe and threatened. Very Dirty and supplies overpriced compared to other locations.I would go to any other U-Haul location. Decided not to rent here!Avoid U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer in Minnetonka off Excelsior Blvd. If I had read all of terrible reviews I would never had gone there.

I am very disappointed with our recent experience at this location. There were multiple customers waiting which may have felt stressful for the staff, but it did not justify the rude attitude we were met with. My husband at one point asked the staff member, “Sir, are you blatantly ignoring me?” and the staff member replied without looking “yes, that’s exactly what I’m doing.” We will unfortunately try a differently location next time.

I have rented trailers from them in the past several times always a good experience. This time the guy answering the phone was rude and abrasive eventually calling me a liar and asking questions Ive never been asked in the past dozen times. I asked to speak to the owner or a manager. He told me know then said okay after I told him Id just call back or stop in to talk to them if he didnt transfer me. So he put me on hold indefinitely. After waiting about 10 minutes with no transfer just hold music and bot getting a voicemail or anyone picking up I hung up and went another route getting what I needed. Being a business owner myself I would be furious with my employee for speaking to a customer this way...

Horrible customer service - I would highly recommend going somewhere else. I had reserved a trailer on-line, completed the express check-in hoping to save time...boy was I wrong. After waiting 30 minutes because “there servers were slow”. The woman and the owner blamed it on the corporate servers and it was the end of the month (not sure what that had to do with anything). I told the owner I had completed everything on-line and asked if I could just take the trailer - I was bringing it back in 3 hours. He then compared the process to getting on an airplane and some nonsense about Homeland Security. I couldn’t believe he was comparing renting a U-Haul trailer to security in the airport? I decided to take my business elsewhere. Then I went to another U-Haul rental facility, no reservation, no express check-in. I had my trailer within 15 minutes. I found it ironic how they didn’t have any issues with “corporate servers”. Maybe if this owner at this Minnetonka station would invest a few dollars in his computers, they would be able to service their customers better. Do yourself a favor, don’t waste your time like I did and go somewhere else. Give you business to someone who deserves...this place does NOT!

Best place in town for your u-haul needs!!

I am extremely disappointed in this U-hall. I had troubles getting my car off the trailer because the fenders over the wheels on the trailer were blocking my car door from opening. There was no way to get my car off the trailer so I went to U-hall to ask for help. They told me they had no clue how to help me and told me to go somewhere else for help. I called a tow truck and he helped me with the issue. Apparently my car slid into a position that wouldn’t allow the doors to open (tow truck guy said this was common with u hall trailers). The guy with the tow truck had to yank my car off the trailer. I am upset that U-hall didn’t help me when I asked.... their roadside assistance should have been the one to get my car off the trailer, I shouldn’t have had to call a third party.....

Very poor phone conversation and customer service. Woman on the phone was very short and rude and didnt want to even check if they had the part in stock for me before driving there aimlessly. Only reason for even 1 star is the gentleman I spoke with after. This location needs to get its stuff together. Cant believe this is acceptable customer service these days.

Young person at the counters threatened to have my car towed because he thought I parked in the wrong spot. Not the best way to greet a new customer.. I started asking for rates and he was upset because I did not know what size trailer I wanted. Sad that there are people mistreating customers like this. There are many other trailer rental operations in the area a.

Nothing special about it. Picking up the truck was awkward, but problem free.

Manager was ridiculous.
