Good bulk selection of Bird Seed, Nails, Cabling. Also great selection of bird houses and many other things even if they just have one or two I like the option to get something better quality without having to order it online and give 30% to Amazon.

I think this is a great hardware store. They have a big range of products and the staff are really helpful. Its an example of what a local/neighborhood hardware store should be.

True Values are just better stores all around. This one is anciant but they have plenty on hand to get the job done. None of this one or two on the plumbing or electrical shelf. You need 10 outlets? They have 30. Need 5 elbows? They have 40.

Well, Ive worked at deakynes coming on two years, and it is by far the most family friendly and quickest service you can find at a local hardware store! I am proud to have been a part of the crew, and am glad to continue to serve the community! If you have any questions, go ahead and ask!

Low inventory of extension cords and when I asked about 100 ft cords was briskly told not until tomorrow. So I called another local True Value to see if they had one in stock, and they even accepted the Deakynes coupon I had!

I was looking for a new Weber gas grill on a Saturday, hoping to get it either that day or the next. I had originally bought one online from Lowes but found out they couldnt get it to me until mid-week. I tried an Ace hardware store and they didnt have the grill I was interested in assembled and didnt seem interested in building me one. I stopped by Deakynes True Value, spoke with the owner (I think) and he said he would build me one and deliver it the next day by 1 or 2 PM and haul away my old grill. Sure enough, about 1:15 PM the next day the owner himself shows up with the grill assembled and took my old grill. His hustle earned my business and respect. Looks like it is a family-run business. My interactions with everyone there was great. Thanks!
