First of all, customer service and friendliness of Lee is A+. I found Lee after breaking the zipper on a $400 Allen Edmond duffle bag. No tailor I could find would touch it...until I found Lee. Lee cut out the old zipper and replaced it with a new one in under a weeks time. Everything looks and functions great now! Will definitely be back for all leather item repairs I need.

Put new leather straps on my waxed canvas tote. Replaced cheap plastic straps that were originally on this bag 🙄 Will definitely bring the rest of my beloved bags here for repair.

Lee saved my winter boots, even after another shoe repair shop told me they couldnt do it! The left sole had come off from the toe all the way to the ball of the foot. Now, no one can tell the difference. He was pretty busy, so he felt guilty that it was going to be a two week wait, but they were ready on time (just in time for the first big snowstorm), and for just 20 bucks, who can complain? Highly recommended; I will return for other work if needed.

This place is GREAT. I brought in my decade-old Frye boots that were not in great shape (especially after Frye kind of botched the repair job the last time Id had them resoled a few years ago). Mr. Lee knew exactly what had been done wrong previously and how to fix it. I had a rubber outsole replaced, very worn down heel rebuilt and general clean up and they look SO. GOOD. $89 for all of it and Id say that was worth it over buying a whole new pair of boots.

The quality of work and service Lee provides is impeccable. A full sole repair on Red Wing shoes was a full $60 cheaper than a competitor down the street. He also conditioned the shoes and made them look better than new AND had them done a day early (the competitor had a wait of 1.5 months, Lees had them done in six days) at no extra cost. I am beyond impressed and highly recommend.

The great reviews for this place are well-deserved! I had a strap shortened on a leather bag. I could barely tell where the strap had been cut and reattached. My bag had also been cleaned, conditioned and the hardware polished, which was a nice and unexpected surprise. I also brought in a pair of leather shoes which were badly scuffed on one toe. The scuff was glued and polished, barely noticeable now. Both repairs were affordable and completed in the stated timeframe. The owner was very friendly. Thank you for the great experience!

What a wonderful find in Uptown. Lees is affordable and does wonderful work. I love my shoes and love being able to keep them in great condition thanks to Lees. I took a leather jacket to him thinking I needed a $70.00 zipper replacement and he was honest enough to tell me I only needed a new pull for 1/4th of the cost! How nice is that?

I HIGHLY recommend going to Lee for your repairs. I was pretty bummed when the strap on my Coach purse broke but Lee fixed it and it looks like new. He also guarantees all of his work so if I do ever have a problem I can always go back. This guy does great work!

Always a great experience to fix soles of my formal suit shoes (5-6 times over the past decade). Not a fancy shop, just quality work. Friendly and reasonably-priced.

Unbelievable work, i needed some Danners resoled. Danner said that the boot would need total reconstruction And was going to Cost near the purchase price of the original boots. Lee was able to resole them with the original Vibram soles and also fabricated a centering Tongue loop at my request. Highly recommended.

He did a horrible job shining my shoes. He put some shiny gunk on my shoes and called it a day. He ruined a pair of $800 and $900 shoes. Worst shoe shine ever.

I went to get some extra holes in my belt it was cheap and super quick took him under 5 minutes to go in, have him fix it, try it on, and pay.

I went to another shoe repair place (right next to Royal Pet Grooming) and they told me it was cost over $100 to repair a broken zipper on one of my leather boots. Was ready to buy a new pair, but stopped by Lees and he repaired the zipper on site for $15! What a deal!

The only person who did an equally fabulous job for cheaper was the ~90yr old Italian grandfather in Venice who resoled my Italian ballet flats for 10 Euros. The language of shoes is universal.
