Fair prices and nice staff. Not being able to return equipment on Sundays is pretty unfair and you have to return it by the exact time you rented it at which makes it even more difficult. Id still come back for my future rental need given the convenience of location and nice staff. Some greedy policys though, but hey Im greedy myself.

Dont waste your time, money, or effort with this branch chipper, and beware of dismissive staff. I rented a branch chipper to handle a large ash tree. The chipper is advertised to take up to 6 inch thick branches, which I assumed was accurate. This machine will not take 6 inch thick branches. It struggles with 2 inch branches. Even with small branches, the machine lurches and groans. I rented for a whole day expecting to chip most of the canopy of this tree, but ended up with about a cubic yard of broken twigs and leaves. I wanted to use the chips but hauled most of the branches, limbs and trunk to the yard waste site in a trailer, exactly what i wanted to avoid by renting the chipper. When i described my disappointment to staff, they rudely dismissed my comments by saying the machine was working properly, rather than acknowledging there might be a problem.

I’ve been renting from these guys for many years—they’re always helpful and accommodating. Solid choice for that equipment you need every now and again.

The staff there was incredibly informative, friendly and approachable! I rarely need to use such big equipment so I dont understand how to operate. They gave me a tutorial, helped me load it and were rather generous when I returned it nearly an hour late. Thanks guys!

The man who answered my initial phone call inquiring about a water was super helpful. I went to pick it up and the 3 other employees that I had contact with were very customer service oriented and helpful. They answered my questions even though they were very busy.I will definitely go back for my rental equipment needs.

I go to Reddy Rents a lot, usually for work, but also occasionally to rent a truck or big tools.The guys there are a great bunch, always very funny and friendly, well informed, and eager to help out! In 50+ visits Ive yet to have an issue.Family owned and quality service, (and adding on the owners dog who visits occasionally) you cant ask for better.

These guys are the best. My go to place for tools and trucks. Its family owned and operated and you can often find the mom and pop (Brian and Kit) working there. They do roll off dumpsters now too.

Reddy Rents was very helpful with my projects. Their pricing is very good(the best I have seen in the Twin Cities. The staff were friendly and helpful. And I am quite impressed with their roll off service. I would recommend them to everyone.

GREAT SERVICE!! We had to rent a truck last minute. We called on Thursday they had one for us on Saturday. We moved our son to Iowa and needed the truck round trip so we didnt have to drive the car down. Its been years since I drove something so BIG. (Rented a 15foot truck). The people were very friendly and helpful. The truck got good gas mileage and was nice and clean when we got it. Will rent from them again!

Great service and customer service today (and other times renting there). Picked up a Bobcat to spread 75 yards of mulch and everything went very smoothly. Courteous and professional service and equipment was all in working order. No hassle when checking back in either.

Reddy Rents helped us with a moving truck for our move this summer. Easy reservation, about HALF THE COST of Budget / U-Haul / Penske companies, and locally-owned business. The truck worked well and even had a ramp and dolly, which larger companies would have charged extra for. Friendly and helpful service, got the job done - highly recommended!

This place has been here for years and has good customer service. They also do a good job of showing how to use the equipment.

Rented a snowblower there this past winter. Equipment was fine. They were gruff, but polite in a troll-like manly-man kind of way. Clear, brief tutorial and I was given help loading and unloading.Im renting a chainsaw today, so Ill put in another update.

I have used this outfit for at least 15 years. They are quick, competent and clean, with competitive pricing. Their inventory is diverse, from contracting to basic yard work to event entertainment and you cant touch their pricing or availability for trailers and moving trucks. Budget and Uhaul have a name, but Reddy Rents is the real deal.

Called to see if they had 48 ft. Ladder, the person answering the phone said yes. I drove a half hour to get it.they had already rented it out. He said they had rented the ladder out a couple hours ago. I showed him my call log on my phone where i had called less than a hour ago. His reply was sorry man.This will be the LAST place i would choose to rent from in the future.

These guys are fair, honest, reasonably-priced, convenient, helpful, and just plain friendly. As a very sporadic DIYer and only minimally handy, these guys cant prevent my own stupid mistakes, but they do give me the tools that make it possible for me to do the project right.

We rented a truck from Penske with our starting location in Columbus, Ohio. The first issue there was that we paid for a dolly and were never given one. I called and was told we would be given a refund for that item.When we got to Saint Paul, MN, our destination, we unloaded our truck and my father in law called Hiawatha Reddy Rents to see when we could drop off the truck. My husband and his dad went and made sure the tank of the truck was full. $127 and some change to fill the tank (we filled twice so we know that the truck was filled.) Whoever the spoke with at the Reddy Rents told them to just drop the truck off and the keys in a certain location. They would call in the morning when they opened if there were any issues.To my surprise a few days later there was a charge for almost $70 for gas to fill the tank of the truck. We were never called. I called Reddy Rents and got no response. I had to call my credit card company for help. We received a letter through the cc company from this Penske location saying my husband signed off saying he didnt fill the tank. This is false. My husband didnt sign anything since they were closed and we did exactly what we were told to do. They are refusing to give us a refund and are scamming us. I will never use them again and I will make sure everyone I know, knows that Penske and this location try to scam people any way they can.

I rented a 3KW generator for 3 days. When I picked the unit up, they informed me, the engine would shut off if the oil level was too low. They were supposed to provide a quart of oil just in case it ran out. They didnt have any oil and were ok with sending me without any, but a worker found a dirty left over bottle with a couple of ounces left. When I returned the generator, I forgot the oil bottle. The owner/managers wife was going to charge me for a full quart. When I protested, she told me she wouldn’t take abuse from me. Huh?! Ok then. She wont take feedback and I dont appreciate rudeness and being overcharged. If you’re okay with rudeness and paying more than you should, you might be ok with this place. I will not be back.

Ive rented tillers, floor sanders and carpet steamers here. The quality of service you get here is just as amazing as the price of the rentals.

Fast service and helps load larger items into your vehicle. Cheaper than buying equipment you only need occasionally.

I brew beer thus run threw a lot of propaine it usualy cost around 13 dollars to have a tank filled. I had two filled there and it cost over 40 dollars. last time i had 3 tanks field at holiday in saint paul it only coast about 43 dollars. Thats an incrediably high jip! I could of went to S.A. and goten an exchange for 18.99 a tank ( this price fluctuates with the market) and they maintain the valves etc. BUYER BE WARE!!!
