I basically got played took from me $190 he said the actual price $230 and guess for what Solid state drive I had the XPG 512gb and he put for my computer used SSD 128GB he said your SSD don’t work no more, he also said to me the SSD have Windows installation the windows wasn’t updated and ready to go I had to update that if you don’t understand a lot about PC I recommend not to leave your PC there I can’t believe I gave him $190 talking about I gave you discount is all my fault going there only god watching the games you playing with the customers that’s not cool.

I stopped here last week before I got vaccinated to run a diagnosis on my laptop. I was worried about my laptop overheating and was immediately responded to when I called. Through professional, efficient, and prompt service, I had my problems fixed and was able to have my laptop back in tip top shape. These guys are great, respectful, and know what they are doing. Diagnosed the problem with my HP laptop, and fixed it at the same time! Did not charge for the service! Had to make him take some money!!! I definitely recommend.

My laptop is essential for me. I used it daily for my work, especially when most people are working at home. My computer stopped turning on. I took it to two places before I found Skyway Techs to see if it can be fixed. None was able to meet my expectation. One place I was told to leave my laptop there to be diagnosed, and I will be given a call on Monday or Tuesday.The other place was even worst. I was told that I had to pay 99 dollars for diagnosis, and probably the part that was thought was wrong can be ordered, and it is expected to be delivered within two weeks and a half.I did not want to wait that long since I need my laptop daily. Then I called Skyway Tech, and not only was my problem solved, but Greg exceeded my expectation. I was willing to wait until maybe following Monday or Tuesday.Instead, my laptop was fixed while I was waiting without additional parts needed. The place was in downtown MNPLS, and I expected its price to be higher than the other locations, but I was wrong. His price was reasonable, much cheaper than the two others I check. Besides that, his diagnosis is free.If you use your computer as I do, I have one piece of advice for you. Call Skyway Techs and talk to Greg before you check any other computer repair places like CPR. I am sure you leave there satisfied.

Greg saved my laptop! I read everything online about the error beeps and black screen...and figured the seven year old laptop was dead. Brought my computer in to these guys. They ordered a new screen, which didnt work (not their fault). Always keep in contact with me on the status. Even though they were not able to fix it, Skyway Techs still put a lot of time in effort into finding a solution. In the end, Dell had to replace the entire screen for my laptop. Skyway Techs were extremely fair in the final price they charged me for their time, which was very minimal. I would will taking future repairs to Skyway Techs in the future. 5 stars

Great guys, very helpful and patient. I went in looking to purchase a charger and I was informed that they do a lot more service and repair work. But rather than just tell me too bad, so sad, they were very patient in helping me identify other vendors who might carry the charger that I needed. So I didnt purchase anything, but still felt like I got great service from a great shop.

Having had a screen replaced at the Apple store before, I though it would be more convenient to go to closer location to me. I was also willing to pay the addition cost they charge.The screen they installed on my iPhone 6 had a much more silver look when powered off. When on, the contrast is clearly higher and a bit more brown looking. Pressing on the screen also resulted in ripples not seen on the existing screen. Others in my office were able to see all of these problems. They surprisingly did not see the difference even with a side-by-side comparison.I was willing to live with this, but in addition, the installation was not done correctly. There was a slight yellowing at the top and white spots on the top right.The best I could get out of this experience after waiting 3 hours for a screen replacement was to get my original broken screen reinstalled along with a refund. I said goodbye to the worker as he tripped over hastily arranged stacks of boxes and computer parts in the back of the shop.Do yourself a favor and get a screen replacement from the Apple store by a professional using genuine parts.

They did a great job repairing my laptops broken screen by hard soldering a component on the motherboard affordably, which saved me from losing my computer! Very affordable and friendly service.

I typically do not feel strongly enough to write reviews, but I will make an exception. I requested that Skyway Techs replace a cracked laptop touchscreen. They did so for $300. However, the touch screen was not glued on properly. While pressing on the screen, I shattered it with my thumb. They charged me $190 for a part that I found on eBay for $150 (and charged $110 for service). They also offered to disable the touchscreen functionality on my computer for $40. I did it myself in less than three minutes after one Google search. Please, save your money, or take it elsewhere. They are more likely to scam you than fix your computer.

These guys are great. When my business laptop had an issue (on a holiday week, no less!) they took the time to talk through every aspect of the problem. Not only did they give me the straightforward information I needed to make a decision, they also provided clear time estimates. (None of the arrogance/annoyance you sometimes see with IT service). Although they werent able to fix the issue, they figured out my warranty was still active (when my search initially came up negative!) and refused to charge me for their time diagnosing/attempting/assisting me. I will definitely be back in the future for any/all devices.

Brought in my MacBook Air when a system update went terribly wrong and nearly crashed my operating system. I was pretty panicked. In less than 24 hours they were able to fix it all and ensure nothing was lost. They also fully updated my laptop and set it up to automatically update in the future to prevent installation freezes from happening again. Great people, service, and extremely reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend and go back!

I took my Nexus 6P phone in for a battery replacement, and I got it back as good as new. The price was about $80 ($40 for the battery, $40 for a labor), which is a bargain by any standard. If there had been a tip jar on the counter, Id have tossed in a twenty-dollar bill.
