Chris (electrician) and Dan (hvac) were both very knowledgeable and polite during their visits and assessment of my home. Both came on different days to evaluate and plan the appropriate improvements to my home. I have not yet contracted Stafford out, but most likely will simply due to their thoroughness and ability to communicate well and calmly.

Tony did a great job for us. Installed a ceiling fan and two fixtures. Installation was solid and prompt. Service is expensive, but all work done appears to be of good quality.

Today our technician Tony installed the fan professionally and excellently. The entire room was left spotless and the fan is exactly what we needed! Just had a mini-split system installed (older home, no air ducts) and will add another 5 star recommendation. The bid was competitive (important, of course) but Im recommending more based upon the service side, which was fantastic.The job went much quicker than I expected, the technicians were super professional, and they even did their best to work around my schedule (as like a lot of people I work from home now).I also really loved that they do the electrical in house with the same techs, so youre not stuck waiting for another professional to show up and then have the AC professionals come back. Slick!And while the installation was fantastic, (works great) just as impressive was how streamlined and efficient they are after the installation. They submit everything to Xcel for you for the rebate, and they do it immediately. Its great not having to follow up myself and figure out how to get the inspections done and everything submitted for the rebate. I had to do nothing from start to finish. Really appreciated that.While I cant attest related to the long term, so far every aspect has been 5 stars all around.

Our whole house humidifier wasnt working. Stafford did an original analysis of the problem while performing a check-up on our AC system. They then sent out a person more expert in these humidifiers. Dan repaired the problem in less than hour. Everyone was courteous, friendly and helpful.

I chose Stafford because they were willing to work on a High Velocity Air Conditioning system that they had not installed (many wont do this) and did not dance around the cost estimate questions I asked. They gave me a set price for AC maintenance ($129 for the attic system, $119 for the basement system) and for how much recharging coolant would cost. No other HVAC firm was as clear as they were about pricing.They have a nice email system to manage appointments and were prompt in terms of showing up in their scheduled window.They ended up having to replace one capacitor (~$85 for the part) and recharge the basement system with additional coolant because it had been leaking out. They applied a diagnostic tracer fluid into the coil ($150) to see where any leaks may be and to potentially plug them up - the tracer fluid can apparently plug up teeny tiny leaks. Once they came back there were no leaks requiring repair and they didnt charge for the follow-up visit to check the performance of the diagnostic tracer/plugger.I will be using them for boiler maintenance this fall, too.

We have used Stafford Home Services for several years now and have always had a good experience. They are knowledgeable about difficult HVAC situations and have helped us through a number of them. A/C maintenance was extremely thorough and everything was discussed with us afterwards and explained so we knew exactly how our system was operating.

Chris came to fix our furnace. He was professional, efficient, and a great communicator. He diagnosed a complex problem that ended up to be the thermostat and replaced it quickly. Dustin arrived on time, and was wearing a mask, which I appreciated.He was here for at least an hour, and after that, gave me a detailed report of the entire furnace, such as what the efficiency parameters were, and how my furnace performed related to those parameters. He was friendly, answered my questions, and emailed a copy of the report immediately after the service was completed. Money well spent!

We live in an old house and the upstairs bathroom had never had an exhaust fan. They did a wonderful job installing one with a light and were even able to put in a wall switch, which amazed me. They vented it through our attic and out the side wall. Didnt have enough venting or a high enough ladder on the day of installation but came back 3 days later to finish the job beautifully. I will use them for all AC and Heating needs after this experience.

Stafford installed new furnace and central air system, plus accessories (humidifier, thermostat, breatheClean) a year ago and now just completed the first annual Tune Up/ Safety check. The responsiveness and professionalism of Stafford was excellent. We had 2 days worth of electric projects and the staff texted when they were in the way, arrived promptly, worked professionally and quickly. They observed Covid guidelines and were very considerate about having indoor and outdoor shoes that they switched depending on where they were working. I Bought a house with a new AC and Furnace.. It has acted up many times. Each time they have come out and performed some maintenance and are running through a few ideas as far as replace major parts. Update. They replaced duct work at their cost. They have a 5 year warranty which is higher than the state statutory requirements. I have satisfied with the response of the warranty work. I also added some extra ducts for my lower level.Service techs are personable. They also text you when they will be there.

Stafford Home Service was excellent to work with starting from getting the estimate, scheduling the work to getting it done. I had contracted with them to install Exhaust fans and venting for it. A big shout out to Jason their operations manager, who worked with me on the pricing to get me what i needed in what I could afford. Tony who can to do the work was very courteous, patiently explained everything and did a good job. I had a minor glitch on how long fans were running and when i called them about it, they came back, no questions asked with a one day turnaround time and fixed it.

I had Stafford hired for removing my microwave, installing a new hood and drilling a vent in the wall to vent it out. Two guys came on time, worked non stop, kept communicating to me as to what they are doing. They needed an electrical point moved, they did it even though technically its not their job. They understood I needed this done and they made it happen. Oh and not to mention, they wore their masks all the time and removed their shoe covers a 100 times in and out without fail. I highly recommend them. I cant comment on the price / value as I couldnt find any other licensed HVAC company who will do the job when I wanted.

The technician was very nice and professional, however, I was a little shocked to see the bill after about less than hours of work. $300 to troubleshoot and fix an open neutral on a ceiling light seemed a bit excessive.

Quality work and on time. Just felt like we were oversold. Didn’t need the top of the line fan for a bathroom with no shower. Wasn’t really given other options.

When I first called the only opening they had was August 4th I was in a spot just had new cabinets installed. I needed some wires removed from a garbage disposal. I called the next day and begged to see is someone could come out sooner so I could get the counter tops and sink in. I couldnt wait until August. They were very accommodating and sent someone early the next day. I am very pleased with the work done.

Steve and Matthew did a great job. They did the work in my preferred order, we had indoor and outdoor work to be done. They were timely, clean and professional. The rates were very similar to other bids I received but you can tell this is a company that invests in itself with great technology to improve the customer experience.When working in our backyard they did (accidentally) cut our internet line. We had no internet for a few hours but instead of hiding it they checked with us to see if anything wasn’t working properly. They then repaired the line. This was just a nice bit of honesty that was greatly appreciated.I’d hire them again for future work.

We had several lights ran in our kitchen and dinning room to include new switches and placements of recessed and fixtures. They came out great. The team was flexible with changes we had to make due to findings during our renovation and didn’t try and oversell us on anything—we went with their advise and it was perfect. Steve is great! Had a major issue with our water heater and he was able to come towards the end of his work day to take a look and get our new water heater properly grounded and running. We had a old Federal Pacific electrical box that failed to trip the circuit when we had water gushing from our water heater, so that was scary, and had to be scheduled for replacement too. Steve came out on time the day of our appointment and did a very thorough job. Overall Stafford Home Service was very nice to work with and we’ll definitely be using them whenever we need electrical work done in the future.

Associates were responsive and communicated well. Provided an itemized quote that was clear. There was one issue with a F connector that want crimped but it was resolved. Projects dont always go as planned but I feel they stuck it out and were committed to my satisfaction.
