Ive rented from several rengal companies and can say that Twin Cities is a fair and reasonable company to deal. You can definitely do a lot worse. The only reason I havent given them a 5 star is based on responsiveness. It has taken a few days for them to get back to me on a couple issues throughout my lease. Given the situation with the pandemic they are actually pretty good about it. So its kinda unfair of me to mark them down for it. However, every issue Ive come to them with has been addressed. The issues Ive had with the specific property and local crime are completely out of TCHRs realm of control. They have even worked well with me on minor issues and lease terms. Communication has been professional and courteous, and they have been accommodating.Trust me when I say you can do far worse for rental companies. Shelly McWilliams has been great to work with.
10 out of 10 would never do business with them again. They move you into an unfinished, damaged gross unit with bugs mold and rodents. Things arent finished or in working order. Patio doors installed upside down so you cant use it. Showers moldy. Mail keys took 2+ months. They try and put utilities into your names from months before you even move in then try and steal it out of your deposit. Unprofessional. Dont rent from these people. Awful time. Even dealing with them after moving out is a headache.
The Yelp reviews for TCHR are a lot more accurate. I have never rented from a more unprofessional rental agency and I could not recommend this place less. Sarah is so incredibly unprofessional and rude. My rental experience has been horrible with this company. I had to wait nearly a month for my oven to be repaired and holes from previous tenants were never filled in the walls at the start of a new lease. The maintenance man came to repair the broken hand railing on the stairwell 3 days ago and never returned. The company has also tried to illegally deduct move out fees from the security deposit.
Miss Marilyn C. is all that and more, she went above and beyond for my boys and I (Kizzy) and I will referee Miss C. to family, friend members ONLY!! good people thank you again Marilyn so much for your time and help. I am a satisfied tenant have a great year.
My partner and I chose Twin Cities Home Rental to rent out our property and we couldnt have been happier with the process. Marilyn was the consummate professional, flexible with our needs (we were organizing this from out of town), and always responsive. Would definitely recommend TCHR -- and particularly Marilyn -- to others.
Mark once again did a fantastic job with all of my maintenance requests- he was on-time, communicative, professional, and made sure he explained what he was doing and asked for my feedback to make sure I was pleased with all the work he did. I also want to thank Jessie for always being so communicative, professional, and coordinating all of my maintenance requests and home questions! I feel very well taken care of here and appreciate the staff that work hard to provide residents a great experience by making us feel high on their priority list!
Shelley was AMAZING! She followed up with all my questions within hours. She went well above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. I could not have asked for any better agent or person. Anyone looking to rent in the Twin Cities I strongly recommend her. Thank you Shelley!
We loved our experience with Marilyn! She was so friendly and so professional and honestly made the process of renting our apartment so easy! She was very responsive and we were honestly excited to have her be part of our move. Looooove our place on Park Ave!
Jessica Kelm is great and she deserves a shoutout! Jessica has been working extremely hard to get tenants current on rent during this uncertain time. There were multiple occasions in the past year that initially the rent of my property was not paid in full in the beginning of the month. Jessica worked with the tenants and made sure that the remaining balance was paid before the end of the month. Thank you for all the hard work, Jessica!
Marilyn was great to work with! She was very responsive to emails and helpful in making the process quick and easy to find our home.
Had a great time renting for almost two years - Shelly and the TCHR team were always extremely responsive and able to answer any questions quickly. The lease process, move-in/out, and any repairs we needed were a breeze. Highly recommend renting through them - quality locations and very quality staff!
A big shootout to jessica she has been super helpful in many ways for my family and I. She is so professional and very nice. Thank you Jessica K.!!!!
Recently switched management companies to TCHR and have had nothing but great service from Marilyn over there! She took on the property and had quality tenants signed on within days. They also have very fair pricing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a 3rd party to manage their home.
Jessica Kelm has been an absolute pleasure to work with at TCHR. She has demonstrated strong relationship skills and is a person with high integrity. She has been very helpful and understanding during our entire time with TCHR (over 1 year). Simple communication goes a long way. I strongly recommend TCHR and getting know Jessica, thank you for all your help Jessica!
Since Jessica Kelm joined Twins Cities Home Rental, she has exhibited a high level of professionalism. She is very efficient and effective. She has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. She demonstrates compassion for tenants while at the same time advocating for homeowners like myself. She is one I would employ within a heart-beat, and I dont say that lightly because I am a perfectionist and hold myself to a high standard....Thanks Jessica. Keep up the good work.
My experience with Marylin was irritating and ridiculous. TERRIBLE at responding in a timely manner, if she even responded at all. Ended up having to call the company just to get a hold of her after 5 days of no responding. Made us jump through 1000 hoops just to again, stop responding completely. Instead of continuing to text us about a house we were interested in, she decided to switch to email, and didn’t say anything about it and also stop responding to the texts out of the blue. Professional voice, completely unprofessional everything else. Don’t waste your time here.
Great property managers. They were helpful during this pandemic and willing to work with me. Jessie Dalbec is always responsive to my maintenance requests and makes sure the contractors get us taken care of. Would definitely rent with them again.
It was my first time leasing through TCHR and I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn Cason. Her professionalism and determination to find a tenant went way above my expectations, and I was fortunate to have someone who can produce quick results. She’s always quick to respond and her devotion to ensure both parties are aligned and happy is what she does best. I would highly recommend her services and I’m confident in her abilities to help find someone a good home.
I have been in my property for 4 years and I have never had any issues. My service request are answered right away. The management team is friendly and very professional
Jessie @Twin Cities Home Rental is awesome to work with! She has great organization and communication skills! Twin Cities Home Rental is a great partner to have! Look forward to our continued relationship!
My experience with Marilyn from Twin Cities Home Rental has been the single best of any I’ve had relating to property rental. She was nothing but professional every step of the way and I could tell she truly listened to and considered everything I had to say. I wish every property manager were so wonderful. Thank you Twin Cities Home Rental and Marilyn for such pleasant business!
My son recently moved into a property in the Como area of Minneapolis. Shelly M. was the leasing agent. She was super. Another one of the tenants told her a later time for move-in, and she responded immediately to come earlier to help with the move-in. AMAZING home and AWESOME service.
Marilyn Cason at Twin Cities Home Rentals was excellent to work with. From start to finish, Marilyn kept the whole process organized. She set me up with a service to changeover the utilities to my new place and walked me through a very thorough property inspection. Follow up is very important in property management and Marilyn communicated with me every step of the way. Im very happy with my new home and highly recommend working with Marilyn at TC Home Rentals.

What started out as a rough move in and first couple of weeks in our rental, has completely turned around thanks to office assistant, Jessie. She is quick to respond, thoughtful and great to work with! I am so very thankful for her time and energy to help make our experience with Twin Cities Home Rental better. Thank you Jessie!
Cosette Harris is awesome, shes knowledgeable, very detailed and explained the whole process very well. She was able to get our house rented within a short period. Her communication was superb and easy to work with. Shes flexible and i recommend her.
In the short time Ive worked with this company Ive been pleased and impressed with the service and the value. Id strongly recommend them for managing ones rental property
Jim and Twin Cities started off excellent. THen turned to be the worst. Communication went sideways, he wouldnt respond ever. Sent texts, sent email. After service date of 9/30/2020 he refused to help. We still have not got a promised check or escrow for all the money he was holding. But the worst of them all was before we terminated his contract he put tenants in place of a rental in West St Paul. He negotiated the rent, did the leases, worked with city for rental license, and took their fee. We did nothing in terms of this. Turns out, city of West St Paul will only allow 3 non related renters in one house. We found this out on Thursday Sept 24th, we sent emails and texts to Twin City Leasing to call city of West St Paul since they were still managing this property. We had our final conference call on Friday the 25th, and brought this to Jims attention. The city also said they had been trying to call Twin City Leasing regarding this. This week we get another email from city of West St Paul and this was Jims response TODAY:Hello,We no longer manage this property. Have a nice weekend. And then he preceeded to be a jerk, and send a DTHH to us for threatening him, when we did no such thing. We feel he should be held accountable for his company placing these 5 applicants into the rental.DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I cannot Stress Enough how badly he has made this. He starts off very nice, and turns into something very bad. Ive since spoken to people who have worked for Twin Citys Leasing and have heard nothing good.
Cosette from TCHR has been amazing to work with. She communicates in a timely manner and goes above and beyond to help with questions. From the first moment I connected with her I could sense her energy, professionalism and sincerity. Thank you Cosette for making this process so easy!
Cosette Harris was great! We found a house we liked, and within a day we were signing lease paperwork. She is very knowledgeable in the housing industry. Thanks Cosette!
I worked with Cosette to rent out my house after I moved abroad. Got great personal service and communication throughout, also good follow up and she handled all issues and communications with the renter efficiently. Would definitely recommend her if you need a great property manager.
The absolute worst! If you own property, stay far away!!!! No communication, erratic owner behavior. Absolutely horrible tenant placement. Every tenant they placed we had issues with. Finally changed companies and no more issues. Yes, their charges are a bit lower but you get what you pay for!
Very receptive and professional. Great service. Would recommend
Currently in my first rental unit through TCHR. They have been extremely responsive and easy to work with through the entirety of the rental process! Very knowledgeable, helpful staff that made getting into my first rental property a breeze. Special thanks Jessie, Office Support Assistant, for helping me resolve all of my experienced maintenance issues in such a timely manner! If you are working with Jessie, rest assured that you are in good hands!
Have had a timely response time to any of my service requests. In my most recent Jay was easy to communicate with and my service request was resolved within 24hrs. Thank you!
Nick and the entire team at Twin Cities Home Rental have been great to work with. They quickly found a qualified tenant and were able to get top rental dollar for my property. They were flexible when it came to requests for repairs. I could have my handyman out or they could schedule to have repairs made. Which was helpful for me since I live out of state. Their owner portal was easy to use and helpful to keep everything in one place. I just sold my rental property but if I had more, they would be the ones I would want managing it for me. I highly recommend Twin Cities Home Rental if you are looking to have a professional property management company look after your investment property.
Really good company to work with. I have been working with them for 10 years. Nick, Sara, Ben and Jeanne are the best. Jeanne takes her time to screen tenants and she responds quickly to my messages and concerns. Ben is a delight to work with. I recommended this company few years ago to a friend and he has nothing but great experience with TCHR.
Mark the maintenance man was a pleasure to work with while fixing kitchen sink. Did not do a short cut. Was on time, fixed the sink, came prepared. A+
Although I cannot say I would give all staff at TCHR 5 stars, I would definitely give Jessie, who works in the front office 5 stars. She has really been a rock though some of the issues we have had with TCHR as a whole. Jessie is organized, prompt, a great communicator, and extremely easy to work with. Overall my experience is satisfactory with TCHR, and continues to improve as I learn who I should be contacting for each of my needs, but Jessie gets 5 stars!
They have no care whether or not owners are taking advantage of you. They told me owner was responsible for cleaning inside ducts of townhouse so they cant charge me. Well a month later owners had a fit and they changed their mind even though situation did not change and per duct guys they cleaned it 4 years ago and its was currently a fire hazard. Their computer system took my payment gave confirmation but never took payment. Called explained then they claimed they are not able to remove lpc, however they are and have in the past and lied to me. They were very rude and not helpful. Tried to evict me and my 2 babies because an ambulance came for my mother who was ill, due to a neighbor saying it was disturbing. Until the sheriff emailed them telling them that was incorrect. So instead they raised my rent $100 to stay. Worst company ever, worst experience of my life. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER USE OR RECOMMEND SUCH A HORRIBLE COMPANY! If you want a good renting experience as a tenant do not live here!
Ive been with Twin Cities Home Rental for 2.5 years. Were on a second renters for our property in the north metro. They have been great to work with for getting our home rented in a minimal amount of time and taking care of the payment collections. Their team has been responsive and helpful when issues come up, and answering my questions in a timely manner. Were staying with TCHR into the future for our home rental needs.
LANDLORDS BEWARE! Zero communication with tenants, management does not have in house labor (you are expected to do minor repairs yourself), 2-3 week turnaround for them to deposit tenants rent, all quoted costs are estimates that WILL increase, company reps are NOT customer advocates with sub-contractors, and they flat out ignore tenant requests. I spent more time following up from tenant complaints and making sure TCHR actually filed paperwork than if I was managing the properties myself. A lease was incorrectly written, deposits were not held, repair requests were not forwarded, rental license were not applied for, and tenants were not informed of any repair timelines. DO. NOT. HIRE.
Our manager marilyn Cason is great she not only assisted with rental process but took care of all maintenance inquires and made billing simple
My boyfriend and I have had a pleasant experience with our home rental, working with Marilyn and TCHR. Very nice rental home.
Reaching out to this company was a complete waste of my time and money. I filled out the online request, and after two days a rental agent reached out to me via email. She was very inflexible with scheduling, and was slow to respond to emails. After going back and forth for a week and a half I finally got her to agree to an appointment time on a Friday at 1:30 PM. I had to take off work to make this appointment happen, she was not willing to come out on an evening or weekend. I was at my property by 1:00 for our 1:30 appointment.By 1:45 she had not shown up, so I looked into my emails, only to discover that she had shown up at 10:30 a.m. for our appointment, and when I wasnt there, she sent me an extremely rude email stating that she did not want to work with me and had no interest in listing my property because she could not gain access to the property. All of our correspondence had been via email. If she had a question about what time our appointment was set up for, all she would have had to do was look in the emails. So first she showed up at the wrong time, then she sent me an extremely rude email about it, and then when I responded to that email and told her that our appointment was set for 1:30, she lied to me and claimed that she and my husband had changed the appointment time. This is a big joke. My husband never had any contact with her, nor did I ever tell her if I was married or not. The whole experience was a ridiculous joke. It definitely left me wondering, if I did use this company, if they would do anything for my renters when my renters needed them. nothing about my experience with this company gave me any confidence that they would be a good company to work with.
Great management, understood tenants schedule and needs! Did a great job on housing move-in evaluation. flexibility is great as well.
I started working with Nick Huber and Jeanne Malmer a few months ago. This is a very good property management company! They are friendly, responsive, thorough and user friendly. I do some property management myself but wanted to hire a professional. If you want a professional property manager, contact Nick or Jeanne and you will be very pleased with the service.Thank you TC Home Rental!
Working with Katie in the office has been wonderful. As a vendor doing work for Twin Cities Home Rental she is very organized in getting all the correct information and tenant schedules out to us. This allows us to get the work orders she sends to us done in a quick order. The other staff in the office are pleasant as well, but Katie handles the majority of the W/O
Ive had a great experience as one of Twin Cities Home Rentals electrical subcontractors. They are strong communicators and very organized, which makes the job very easy for our electricians. Katie Trunk has been especially pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company!
Love working with Jeanne - fast and efficient! Found renters for our home within a couple weeks both times. Highly recommend!
Negative experience. Great unit with poor managing of the rental unit. The realtor showed up at the first visit and did not have the keys so I spent 30 minutes looking for keys and was sent home. Promised to show the apartment the next day and took 1 hour from our scheduled second visit to retrieve the keys.Walked into the apartment and realtor was not even aware that the carpets were not replaced as the posted listing advertised. My mistake was still being interested in the unit. I requested that I get photos of the unit with the replaced carpets and let her know that I was looking at one more unit before signing a lease, and the realtor sent the following e-mail:? WhatWow. Ive turned a lot of people away and told the owner it was leased.Ill call them now. I had no idea this is my job and Im a bit shocked. News flash: I had not signed the lease; I had barely had the chance to look at it since it had only been 12 hours since I had it sent to my e-mail. I am grateful she apologized for sending this crass e-mail but I wanted to share my negative experience with anyone looking to rent through this management company. Realtor was friendly otherwise.
This company failed to collect rent the last two months and never notified me that rent was short until they were $4000 in the hole. They also let the tenants have the electricity and water shut off for not paying...without a notification for me. This has been the biggest waste of money for me and they cant even deal properly with the tenants. As i told them i want the tenants evicted, they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to proceed to evict them without the courts in order to keep the tenants background clean. When owed nearly 5 thousand in rent and utilities. . . The employees here are out of touch with this industry and the company is running a scam.
This my first time renting, and I am glad that Cosette Harris was the leasing person I had to deal with. She was very flexible and helped with the leasing process, making it quite simple for us. She was very accessible and quick to address our concerns. If you are looking for a place to call home, look her up.
It has been awesome working with Katie Trunk from Twin Cities Home Rental! She is timely, polite, and sympathetic to our needs as renters. Whenever something goes wrong, we are confident in her ability to problem solve in an efficient manner. We are lucky to have her working with us!
Cosette is a great realtor, very friendly and attentive to my needs as a renter and goes out of her way to help resolve issues outside of normal office hours. Very happy renting through TCHR - Thanks again!
Twin Cities Home Rental finds quality tenants and addresses issues quickly and efficiently.Update: Been with them for another year. Same great services. Jeanne Malmer has been a fantastic agent. She always handles my requests promptly with little delay and is a joy to work with.
As a home owner, I have had a great experience working with Katie Trunk, Operations and Office Support at TCHR. Katie is always prompt in replying emails and keeps me informed with work orders and their status on time. She also actively serves as the liaison between me and tenants and greatly helps in my communication with tenants. Its been truly a pleasant experience working with Katie. Two Thumbs Up!
Jeanne Malmer has been great to work with on our first rental property. The process couldnt have been easier and she has been highly responsive throughout the process of finding a renter and managing the property. Highly recommended.Update: Weve now used her services twice and shes delivered for us both times. Couldnt be happier with her work.
We found the perfect home with Twin Cities Home Rental. Moving from Wichita, Kansas to Minneapolis was a big move and Cosette made everything an easy transition for us. We could not be happier with how things turned out. I highly recommend Twin Cities Home Rentals and working with Cosette.
I have been working with Twin Cities Home Rental for the past couple of years and have recently started working with Jeanne Malmer as my leasing agent. Jeanne was able to process a move-out in the middle of winter, but the best part was she was able to get needed repairs done in about 10-15 business days and found me a new tenant with my unit sitting vacant for only 2 weeks! Nothing is worst for a landlord than a property sitting vacant and Jeanne did her best to prevent it from sitting out there too long. This is why Twin Cities Home Rental and specifically Jeanne will continue to earn my business in the future!
Twin Cities Rental is not good for me. They look at younger black people as if they are lower level.I move in my house it had mice I called it took forever for some one to come out. They told me the mice came with me. ( I never had mice before in my life). I was told to buy mice traps and I would be reimbursed that was a lie. They keep running your credit score for what reason they dont Know. When you call to get things taken care of they say your frustrating them. You ask to speak to a supervisor they say he out for weeks at a time. They charge me over 200 in app fee. Their home look nice in the walk threw but when you live there every thing starts falling apart. I been here 4 months an I still dont have a mailbox key. I had over 4 maintenance work orders in lees than 3 months of me moving in. You have to keep calling them to get things taken care of. I dont know if its because Im young, Im black or Im female but they keep playing me. I even offered to move if they was not going to meet my needs and they said they will charge me for that. It just sucks all the way around. Im 25 years old and this is the worst move in I have ever had in my life.
Ive been working with Twin Cities Home Rental, and Katie, for several years. They are very organized, professional and friendly. Service requests are handled with urgency and repairs are completed in a timely fashion. Great company!
If youre looking for a great (the best) property management company in Minneapolis give them a call. Nick really knows the rental and real estate market in the Twin Cities area, and went out of his way to help me. Highly recommended.
My experience with TCHR and lease agent Cosette has been very good. There is open communication and the staff seems pleasant. When ever I had a concern, I was able to contact someone to resolve it quickly. I like the unit Im renting. It is clean, quiet and is located in a nice area.
Katie and the rest of the staff at Twin Cities Home Rental do an amazing job handling any issues that arise with my rental property. We had tried a different company, at over twice the cost, that did not begin to compare with the service we receive from TCHR. Do not let their cheaper pricing fool you. This is a top notch company.
TCHR has been a pleasure to work with. I had a few additional requests and challenges, and they took these on and worked through them with me. Knowledgeable, flexible - I work with many and they are one of the best Property Management firms I use.
Cosette Harris is the best. She was very professional and help me and children during and extreme crisis. I would recommend her for all your rental needs.
Great company to work with, pleasant staff. I highly recommend Cosette as an agent. Shes an excellent communicator, represented us and our property well and found us quality renters quickly.
This is our second year with TCHR. While sometimes its a bit confusing to know who is helping you with what as there are multiple people you work with at the company for various reasons (billing, maintenance, etc.), someone is always there to help and answer your questions. Recently we had a faucet issue at our house and I worked with Katie. She was quick to respond to all my questions and follow-up, gave me clear direction, and was very pleasant to work with. Shes definitely one of the best people Ive worked with at the company!
Im a 9-5 full time worker who moved and decided to convert my residence to a rental property in June 2017. Twin Cities Home Rental has provided excellent service over the past year through my process of getting ready to list my property as a rental, providing a rental price analysis for my property, taking pictures for the listing, facilitating communication with and the actual showing of the property to 10+ interested potential tenants, helping coordinate a Section 8 inspection, helping coordinate repairs required for Section 8 approval, providing year end Certificate of Rent Paid, and serving as the point of contact for the couple maintenance requests that have come up since the tenant moved in.In particular, the leasing agent assigned to my property, Jeanne Malmer has been superb in answering any questions Ive had and facilitating communication with the tenant in a timely and professional manner.Per an email from TCHR (as of April 2017): Our fees are as follows. 80% of the first months rent for the leasing fee. Monthly management fee is a flat $79 per month and 20% for a lease renewal fee only if we put another lease in place after the first year with the same residents. For Leasing Only Services we charge 100% of the first months rent.
Yes, this management works really good . I live overseas and I was having hard time to manage things with other rental companies and end up paying a lot for maintenance but after hiring this company, I am relieved as this company provides good service, timely feedback and r very courteous. Keep it up!:)
Management company has poor communication (During rental start, middle and finish) and very expensive move out charges. My wife and I had our house spotless and way cleaner than when we moved in, but were charged hundreds of dollars for cleaning fees. I should have taken before and after pictures, but unfortunately I didnt. The property was decent, but I would not recommend TCHR as a property management company. They would send maintenance crews out for days at a time working on random items that should have been done well before the property was ever rented. They would just show up with no notice, sometimes entering when we were not present and without asking. Overall not happy with the service they provided, I would look elsewhere if I had to do it all over again.
I am very happy with my decision to use Twin Cities Home Rental for the rental of my condo. I was apprehensive about renting again due to a bad experience with a previous renter but decided to try a professional company this time rather than go it alone. Shelly McWilliams has been a wonderful, reliable business partner throughout this whole experience. She answered all of my (many) questions, took the time to explain how the process works and had the property rented within 2 weeks! The office staff have also been very helpful, professional and handled all my business needs in a timely manner. If you are looking for a property management company, call Shelly McWilliams from Twin Cities Home Rental - it will be a great business decision!
UPDATE [In response to owners reply: I got married. My last name changed, so I would not show up in their system with this last name.]I would discourage anyone from renting with Twin City Home Rental! Take note that the majority of their positive reviews are from the owners of homes and not from those who are renting from them.Throughout my time renting with them (2 years), they proved themselves to be a company that only advocates for the owner of the home and not the tenants. I want to be clear and state that we always paid rent on time and reported damage on the house promptly. Unfortunately, they oftentimes ignored fixes that influenced the livability of the home. Rather than acting as a support for both the tenant and owner, they merely informed the owner of issues with the home and put no pressure on him to fix it even when the problem resulted in the home being far below normal living standards. We had multiple issues with this company, but the issues with TCHR were magnified when we began to have a leaky ceiling. The ceiling in our kitchen leaked for 1 MONTH. We put in multiple work orders and requests via email for it to be fixed. After a month, the ceiling fell in which released strong smells and mold. A couple roommates could not stay in the home and the kitchen was unusable for multiple days. The leak was fixed within 48 hours of the ceiling falling in, but the large hole in the kitchen ceiling was not. This broke multiple clauses in the lease which we outlined in our emails. More than 30 emails were sent in addition to multiple phone calls. The owner wanted to find a way for insurance to cover the damage, and TCHR allowed him to do nothing about the issue for 2 months. Our requests for reimbursement were ignored. They offered us $200. In hindsight, I wish we would have called 311 and reported the incident.See the attached photos of the ignored problem. We lived with a hole in the ceiling and many cabinets removed for a month.
Katie trunk is the most valuable asset Twin Cities home rentalHAS. She is personable she is polite she is professional and when you do a request with her she gets on it right away and gets it done and gets back to you in a very very short timely manner she Isdefinitely,THE BEST OF THE BEST,PERIOD!!!!! IF I STILL HAD MY COMPANY,ID STEAL HER AWAY!!!!😀
Great experience being a renter and having Cosette help my roommates and myself find a great place to live! Thanks again!
The team at Twin Cities Home Rental is great! They find great tenants, keep me well informed on my property, and manage every aspect of my property. I highly recommend using Twin Cities Home Rental.
As a contractor and owner of BTB Innovations LLC, Ive worked with multiple property management companies. Many of them do not have half the knowledge, nor care as much about the tenants, owners, and contractors and this company does.Katie is exceptionally friendly and patient, and also follows up on requests very quickly. They have been a pleasure to work with.
My roommate and I had the pleasure of working with Cosette Harris to get us set up in our new place. Usually when Im moving I anticipate a lot of stress and hassle, but working with TCHR and our realtor, the process was quick and painless. Very friendly staff and prompt responses. Would recommend.
Run! Literally zero advocacy for tenants. My wife rented from them before we got married and it was a nightmare. They were unresponsive, irresponsible, and let the property fall into such disrepair that it was unlivable. Had we known about 311 at the time we would have definitely reported them. Again, run![edit after reply] Their own statement unfortunately it is out of our control proves my point above. Not only is it under your control, its your job! Ensure both parties (landlord and tenant) abide by the lease agreement and take action when its violated. Why anyone would rent from these guys when places like Renters Warehouse exist is beyond me.
Worst experience of my life. Maintenance does not like to complete anything and the office staff just says they will get back to you. I have had no running water for over a month and no one seems to care. Really? They finally put me in a hotel but even that is like pulling teeth. They state no rent credit or any help since they are flipping the bill for the hotel. I now have to pursue a court case. I highly recommend staying away from them.
I would like to give my highest appreciation to Katie Trunk in operations and office support she is great and very helpful always pleasant and any issues Ive had she a dressed them in a timely manner Thanks Katie
Katie is great! She responds to service request in a quick manner, and communicates with you through the whole process. Recently my garage keypad broke, and I couldnt get in my house (which was terrible in this current cold front). Katie had a service guy out right away to fix the problem.Thank you for the help!
Please! Please! Please do not use TCHR Services.Ill let the TCHR owners Nick Hubers Email he sent me be your guide to your better judgement in whether you wish to use this Property Management Company for your rental property/s.This was sent after I politely asked Mr. Hubers for my Property Management Agreement fee back after their chosen tenant left after I fired TCHR for not upholding their own TCHR Lease agreement they had with the tenant after multiple lease violations in less than 6 months of a 12 month lease.Philip,I would gladly go to court over this matter. Ill subpoena the tenant to show up to point out exactly what type of a Landlord you are. Any loss that you had was because of your actions. Had you not canceled the management agreement you would not have had a loss.RegardsNick HubersTwin Cities Home Rental
Shelly Mcwilliams did a great job for us, finding a tenant in two weeks, where a previous company more than four months.
I had a great experience renting out my town home with the help of TCHR. Cosette and Nick were very professional and made the entire process very EASY. They provided a couple of options for me that allowed them to find the perfect renter.Thank you,SarahPlymouth, MN
Cossette Harris was great to work with. She showed me the house within a couple days of request.Walked thru the home with me and answered any questions I had.Was able to get the application filled out and approved within a day.Move in 4 weeks. Great job
Katie is awesome! She is always on top of things and follows up with tenant to make sure they are satisfied with end results!
Jeanne Malmer managed our property in north minneapolis. Jeanne took care of all of the issues that came up with our rental property in a swift and professional manor. I would not hesitate to use Jeanne and Twin Cities Home Rental in the future.Chris KallstromISTC Properties
Katie at TCHR is awesome! Great personality and very patient. Im glad shes apart of their team.
Great people to work with!
Cosette Haris was excellent through my entire move process from beginning to end. I love my new townhome and Im very happy to be here. I would most definitely recommend Cosette in the future.
We had a fantastic experience with each member of their team we interacted with. They resolved some issues we were having with the building, and were just cool to work with.
TCHR has been professional and timely with all of our communications. Additionally, all of the maintenance professionals we have interacted with, through TCHR, have been flexible with scheduling, kind and helpful.
After renting with Twin Cities Home rental for three years, I end my lease with them feeling frustrated. I do not know if the issue is the company itself or the owner of the condo I rented. Throughout the three years there was never a consistent person to contact at TCHR with questions and issues. I never had one big issue with TCHR but rather small issues here and there. The biggest being in end never getting a move-out check list being told I would be getting my deposit back after the move-out meeting and then two weeks later receiving a bill for charges, claiming the owner all of a sudden showed up after I left.If you choice to use this company my recommendation is to keep a paper trail of everything and take detailed photos. I regret not photographing my unit before I moved in, and it ended up being a very costly mistake for me.
Cossete Harris recently sold our home in Apple Valley. She did a great job.
We rented a house that they took care of for 3 years and always had a good exsperience with them. If we needed something fixed they came over right away and always responded too emails and phone calls right away.
After renting the same house for 16 years, I never dreamed my family and I would be forced to look for a new place to live but in early 2015, we did.TCHR had a listing I liked and we are now happily well into our second year.TCHR have been great to work with thus far, and have been responsive to the few maintenance problems we encountered. My experience with Nick, Katie, Sarah, Cosette, and Ben has been terrific.Being a landlord/property manager is NOT the easiest job in the world. And no one is perfect but I have nothing but praise for this company. If you pay your rent on time and treat the property as if it were your own, you shouldnt have any problems. After 16 years, suddenly moving was a nightmare for me and my family. Having a severely developmentally disabled son, made it worse. TCHR made it as painless as possible. I recommend them highly and hope to stay in our home a long time. This is a legit review. Feel free to contact me if you have specific questions. Thanks.
Your service towards renting my property exceeded my expectations.
Sarah is very rude and unprofessional. There have been a few SAVED e-mails and voicemails she has left about late rent. While I am an adult and very aware that rent should not be late there still is a professional way that a rental company should interact with their clients and Sarah is very immature about it. I dont expect you to be nice about late rent by any means obviously you are doing your job at collecting payment however there is a thin line between professionalism and a immature childish attitude. I will say that I have spoken with Katie once about questionable charges and she was very nice and professional. Its interesting to see that others feel that everyone else is very polite. Wondering if I can possibly work with someone else then over at TCH because I can not stand working with such a immature, rude, and unprofessional person. You do your job but you respect people at the end of the day and if you cant do that then I dont feel you are qualified for this job or any other job.Reading her e-mails and listening to her voicemails I sometimes forget she is a grown woman and feel like this is a child Im doing business with.
