Amazing place. My wife and I love it here. Right in the center of Uptown. We LOVE having the target on the bottom floor. Amenities are spot on.
Welcome to Revel, where no revelry is allowed, whatsoever! There is a strict 10pm curfew in place and will be enforced for all residents, but come one, come all homeless in the area. Want security, your fellow residents are right on top of that, getting in altercations with homeless people and thieves every day as our cars are constantly broken into and thieves roam the halls stealing things. We do have “actual” security, but it’s only available 12-6am, but not on Tuesday and Thursday. The official security is only really concerned with policing the residents anyway, making sure no fun is had on Lincoln Management’s watch. Be ready to find homeless people sleeping in every bathroom, couch, and entryway into the building, which you will have to trip over to get in and out of the building, which is quite a trick if you have a dog that they try to pet, if they’re awake and not in a drug fueled coma. Need drugs? There’s extra drug paraphernalia laying around everywhere from crack pipes to heroin needles. But don’t worry, management does a great job keeping it clean and managing the day to day, but respecting the residents and their quiet enjoyment of the property is definitely the lowest thing on their priories. We’ve tried talking to management about all this, but it’s been made clear that they really don’t care and they say the ownership is completely behind them making this a terrible place to live.If you want to live Uptown’s one and only crime ridden old folks community, you’ll love it here…
Revel apartments have not returned my deposit. I applied for an apartment 2 months ago they never got back to me. I stopped by to get my refund and they told me they changed management and to contact greystar. Contacted Greystar and they have been ignoring me. They owe me $450!!!
If you want to read the only unsolicited review of this building on Google, here it is. The units themselves are nice, especially if youre willing to pay more for the top floors with upgraded amenities. Direct access to Target is convenient. The building is brand new which is a major selling point however people dont want to respect the common areas. There is often trash left after parties, and sometimes dog excrement and even vomit. The gym is windowless, and is so tiny its laughable. Photo 1 is the line to get into the garage thats shared with Target. Photo 2 is the communal hot tub after your neighbors decide they want to have a party, but dont feel like cleaning up afterwards. As another reviewer mentioned, the management companies ( there have been 3 in the short time weve been here) leave something to be desired. They seem to be out of touch with the priorities of the building. If youre hoping for community activities, this is not the place for you. The only things that have been offered so far are grab and go bagels 2-3 times, and one happy hour event.
I love the location of this place, and the apartments are nice. Have been living here since may last year but looking forward to move out and here are my reasons.Management here is bad, and I don’t see it changing for better anytime soon.Homeless people are braking in the building constantly since I moved in may 2019, so security is a problem here. I have complained and talked about it many times and I always get the same BS response. This building is in the middle of Uptown so want it or not management, you are going to have to pay for security (it is obvious that they don’t want to spend on security) with the rent we pay here, it should not be a problem I would say.Another thing that is bad is how some tenants treat this place like is a dump and no one does nothing about that either. I see people leaving trash in the parking lot for someone else to come pick up for them, and I repeat this line, management don’t do nothing about any of this things. My car has been broken into in the underground garage, I have residents friends that have lost packages in the building, and the homeless coming in the place is a real problem. If this things would be addressed, I would recommend the place, because is not bad, and having target in the lobby is nice and the building is new construction so it is nice too.I have seen 3 building managers in less than a year, that says a lot too. This new management we have let’s hope change things around .
HORRIBLE Management. You are in for some complete BS when working with this team. The will lie worse than military recruiters promising you the world before you sign a lease including things like weekly breakfast, resident events, nice and amenities. The reality is they do not maintain their current amenities. The fire pits have be missing the remotes for a month making them not operational, the BBQ grills are disgusting without any cleaning in over a year, the fitness area workout on demand is for show only and not actually capable of streaming the TV. On top of all of that, you get to deal with them pulling stunts like waking you up for 6:30-7am construction on the exterior of the building without notice. Recommend staying far away.
As a rental consultant in the Twin Cities area for over 21 years, I find Revel apartments to be a perfect option if you want to be in the middle of Uptown and be able to walk to anything you may need.... and also feel like it is your own home as a smaller community. Having Target connected to the property is a huge plus! The property is the perfect size to know your neighbors and feel like a part of a family. The apartments are good sized and the modern features make them feel warm and spacious. The hardwood flooring and floor to ceiling windows are awesome features of the apartments. I love the rooftop deck facing downtown and the pool area is private to enjoy your space and it feels some like a resort. Having a part of the history of what used to be in that location is cool with the letters as part of the decor on each floor by the elevators. Stop in and ask Michael for a tour--he is awesome!
Living at revel has been an incredible experience. The property is new and the apartments are beautiful with some having a downtown view ( I was lucky to get one). However, what has made my stay even better is the property manager, Alison, who is extremely nice and personable. You reach out to Alison with any issue and she will go above and beyond to help it solve. She is very passionate, professional, and always available to provide as much support as she can. Moreover, she has been a big driver in organizing various events at the property and always has great ideas to help people socialize. Mike in Alisons team is great to work with, very responsive, and has answers to any questions you have for him. Both Alison and Mike made the entire move-in process very easy and smooth for me.
What a gem in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis! I was extremely impressed with this community. Loved the out door hot tub in the winter season. Out of all the communities that I toured I felt the most comfortable with Michael, he did a great job. Im just waiting on my job situation so I can secure my new apartment at Revel!
Allison, the manager of Revel, is absolutely phenomenal in her customer service and management skills. When she recognizes a problem, she will make sure it gets solved in order to sufficiently meet customer needs. She gets to know residents and makes necessary changes to optimize resident experience. Allison is very professional and passionate about her job and it shows.
Very beautiful luxury apartments with excellent service and management! Micheal J. Helped me and was outstanding, very courteous and intelligent. I would recommend this place to my loved ones.
What can I say, I am looking SO forward to living in Revel apartments. From the moment I emailed, Anna Larson helped me through it all. She understood my concerns and Revel had exactly what I wanted in an apartment. Anna was extremely flexible with us, and an AMAZING tour guide! Not only did she show us what we were looking for, she showed us more than what we expected. Through the whole meeting and touring experience she got to know our personality and what we liked. Throughout the tour she helped us find the PERFECT apartment. She also was very clear with communication and even texted me. If I had any questions/comments/concerns with a quick text she was answering them all. I absolutely LOVED her as my leasing agent and I couldnt have asked for a better experience in Minneapolis. I cannot wait to call Revel my new home. Thank you, Anna for making this such a smooth, fun, and exciting journey. I appreciate everything you have done for us!
Working with Anna Larson through the leasing process has been the best experience Ive had so far looking for an apartment. She was very flexible and was able to answer all of my questions quickly. It made it especially convenient that she was able to answer questions via text!Everything Ive seen so far at the Revel has been great. I look forward to moving in May!
I recently moved to Minneapolis after graduating a technical academy in Wisconsin. My experience with Revel has been a positive one, The facilities are VERY modern and there are many conveniences that are especially nice considering the winter months. I chose an Alcove unit and I think it is a perfect fit for any young professional. The interior appliances and materials used are quality. Bradley Baar was great to work with and I have never had an easy transition moving between living arrangements. 10/10! :)
Was the first place I viewed and after just looking at a few more, I knew Revel was the place. Great tour of the still-under construction building, but had a nice model that Brad showed to us and I could just see myself living in there. He was very informative of the floor plans as well as telling us all the amenities that the building offered. The vibe of Uptown and this apartment complex mesh extremely well. Great staff and helpful in every process of renting a Revel Apartment.
Our experience with with our leasing agent Brad was amazing. We were looking at multiple apartment complexes in Uptown and the Suburbs during this experience. Brad was always available to us via phone or email, to answer any questions we had. In the end, we chose Revel not only for the beautiful building and the great amenities, but also because of how professional and helpful Brad was during the process. We cant wait to move in August 1st!
Looking forward to moving in! The leasing experience went really well, very quick responses via text and email. Touring the place, Brad answered all questions with great detail and knew a lot when describing the place. He created great impressions on how the place will be. Loved the details of the place seen so far and the care in the design.
As someone who is currently living in a high-rise apartment in Uptown, I looked at Revel to see how it compared. Not expecting anything more than what I already have, I took a tour with one of their leasing agents (Brad, who was great!), and was blown away by the amenities, attention to detail and services that Revel is offering. The apartments themselves are light and airy, and include nice upgrades. The upgrades made the apartment feel like a home, which is why I went forward with a lease starting in August. If youre looking for an up-scale apartment that is literally right in the heart of Uptown, then you should definitely check this place out!
I really appreciated our leasing consultant Brad of CPM for Revel apartments. He was to the point, no B.S., honest, on top of the ball, didnt jerk me around at all, and didnt waste my time. He was very passionate about the building and units he showed me and catered the tour to my needs. In addition, he was very quick to respond to any communication even after normal business hours, sometimes responding with in 5 minutes of messaging him. I was very pleased with my interactions with Brad, and on top of all that, hes generally a classy and stand up guy all around. Im looking forward to living at Revel, its going to be an awesome building.
Earlier this year, I found out about a new apartment coming onto the market in August. I wasnt actively looking at moving as Im content with my current apartment. However, I decided to check our Revel. I was invited to a happy hour that Brad and Lauren hosted soon after expressing interest. Not only did I get to experience a virtual reality demo of the apartment but I got some free gear as well.A couple weeks later, Brad reached out. After some back and forth emails he convinced me to at the very least tour the apartments. I brought along my girlfriend who lives with me. She was not at all enthused with moving or checking out a new place. Brad gave us a personal tour that day and we instantly knew we had to move. Revel was clean and modern. All the amenities were upscale and each room had a huge closet. Additionally, the windows were expensive and tiling bright. Nothing looked cheap and we felt like it suited exactly what we were looking for in a place to live. The apartment also had parking for both of us. This is hard to come by in uptown and typically you are put on a waiting list. Lastly, who can forget the pool/hot tub. Its open year round which is something I havent found anywhere else in Minnesota. All in all it was a great experience and we signed our lease the same day as the tour. Thanks Brad!
I had a great experience signing up for a lease at Revel. Anna was my leasing agent, and did a great job answering all my questions throughout the day. She was quick to reply to texts, and made the process of finding an apartment in a city I have never been easy. I look forward to moving in.
Very nice apartments. Michael was very helpful with everything and made my transition here quite easy.
Cons:1. CenturyLink is the only internet provider available in the building. I’ve had so many issues with the service that it’s unbearable. I tried working with centurylink and property management but 10 months and no resolution.2. Homeless population really hangs out around the building. They currently have a security guard to mitigate some of the risk but residents have been horrible about letting people in the doors. I had my car broken into in the “secured garage.”3. No real amenities. Gym is laughable (basically a treadmill) and there is only a small hot tub, no pool.Management has promised to improve things many times over but as they’re on the 4th management team in the last ten months, nothing has delivered.Pros:Units are nice and modern but are also very small.
Brad from Revel Apartments was sensational. I have never had a better experience taking the steps to get approved for an apartment. To me, this wasnt just a rental application experience, it was finding a place I wanted to call home. Brads expertise in the property, leasing knowledge, welcoming and friendly demeanor, and quick responses to my inquiries made my decision to rent with Revel very easy. If youre looking for not only luxury in a BEAUTIFUL community, but also an amazing agent who will make your experience one of a kind, I highly recommend Revel apartments! I cant wait to move in!
The leasing staff is helpful and friendly. Anna is very easy to work with and made the leasing process seamless. All questions were answered super quickly!
I will be relocating to Minneapolis this August and could not be more excited to be living in Revel! The location could not be better- Target, CorePower, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, biking trails, and lakes all within walking distance- and the building looks incredible. Brad has been wonderful to work with- always very responsive to e-mails and extremely friendly- and I look forward to becoming a part of this community! Highly recommend Revel and Brad!
Great customer service. All my questions were answered fast. Im relocating to MPLS and glad I chose Revel. There is a lot going on in Uptown!! I like the laid back vibe at Revel, plus its easy to lease online.
Anna was a superior leasing agent from start to finish for the Revel!Passionate, polite, listened, instantly available in working through the semantics for a new place for someone making a long move!Awesome location, brand new. Thanks Anna!
This post is about the awesome leasing agent interactions we have had thus far. We’ve really felt like we have always been in good hands. Both Anna and Brad from The Revel truly went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable selecting our new home from over 1,200 miles away. Without knowing really anything about the Uptown neighborhood, they both helped my fiancé and I feel confident that we were making a great choice. Anna was always super available, very knowledgeable about the building (and musical history connection!), and even FaceTimed us while walking through the specific unit we wanted- that’s what sealed the deal for us!! She then met us while we finally were able to come to town and see the place in person... and once again surpassed all expectations by taking us for a tour (the rooftop and common areas are amazing!), providing us answers to any questions we had. And all while being on top of a TARGET! I give Anna (and Brad, for answering that first phone call!) and the revel apartments 5 stars, and we haven’t even moved in yet!!!
Recently I contacted this community and spoke to Michael, he was so helpful on my possible search to Minneapolis. If I do move to Minneapolis I will be renting here.
I am very impressed with the Revel Apartments so far. Anna has been extremely helpful and an excellent leasing agent. Without being able to visit the Revel Apartments in person, Anna offered to give me a FaceTime tour of the unit I was interested in and has been made communication fast and easy via texting. No other apartment complex in the area has been as accessible or communicated as efficiently as Revel Apartments. The units also look beautiful and of high-quality construction. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Disclaimer: I have not yet moved in (the building is under construction). However, my pre-lease experience has been excellent. Brad the leasing agent is great to work with and patiently gave me two separate tours of the almost-finished building. The building itself is in a great location, and the rooms and common areas seem like theyll be lovely. Im looking forward to moving into Revel when it opens in August!
Brad is awesome to work with, very helpful and extremely quick. They did a great job with the design and the people are so friendly. Im so excited to move in
Michael is amazing! He goes above and beyond! Beautiful apartments!
Absolutely cannot wait to move into Revel as my next apartment in Uptown! Working with Brad on the end to end process of the pre-lease was incredible.Despite being under construction he was able to provide mock ups and pictures as they became developed and has stayed in touch from the pre - lease to recently which is pretty unheard of for apartment leasing! The facilities are incredible and a wonderful value for the price. Cant wait to move in and I highly recommend working with Brad to understand all the options, available units, and complete transparency throughout the process. Thanks again - cheers!
Had a great experience touring with Brad and Anna. The communication was top notch. Brad answered all my questions through texting and email. Did a tour this week and signed the lease for a balcony room. Im looking forward to revel. I honestly dont think you can beat the convenience of Target. This is in the heart of uptown with a short walk to the the gym, restaurants, bars, lake Calhoun, and the greenway. I am looking forward to use the outdoor amenities during the summer!
Great location, the building is always super clean! Great management but the apartments are small and no window in the bedroom.
Ive lived here for almost a month, and love it! I worked with Anna in the leasing process, and she was super responsive and helpful in finding the perfect apartment for me!
My experience is with the leasing process as I havent moved in yet. Renting in the area can be very stressful as apartments are scarce and you usually have to quickly sign a lease before being able to stop and think. This was absolutely not the case with revel and their leasing agent Brad. I was able to email back and forth with Brad for a few days before the tour. He was very prompt with responding and could answer all my questions and concerns. Even when I was looking over the lease to sign and had a few nit-picky annoying questions he responded very quickly and throrouhly. It was definitely the least stressful apartment search, and Im sure the building itself will live up to high expectations.
Brad helped us with our pre-lease and he was awesome! Very helpful throughout the whole process. Cant wait to move in to Revel! :)
Best leasing experience Ive had. It was quick, transparent, and fairly priced. The building itself is definitely differentiated from the rest of Uptown.
Love the property, amenities and staff. Anna was fantastic from my initial contact through the application process and finally move in!
Anna was friendly, helpful and informative during the lease signing process. I have been here for a week now and I have zero complaints. I highly recommend the Revel apartments.
Excellent looking place!! Great working with Brad. Very knowledgeable guy.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful during the apartment viewing and leasing process
As most people have said, signing up to live in Revel was easy. Also, the building is brand new which makes everything clean, and the proximity to Target is ideal. However- the management here is horrible. My dishwasher was broke for over three weeks. I repeatedly emailed and spoke on the phone to personal regarding this issue- and I got nothing but excuse after excuse. There was no sort of deduction in rent for that month either to make amends for the inconvenience. They also do not have the parking garage figured out- on more than one occasion I have had to track down management in the office to come let me in/out of the building as my car fab wouldn’t work (making me late for work), as well as the fab to get into the building from the parking garage. Also, if you have a unit that shares the alley with The Walkway expect a dump truck to wake you up abruptly every morning (no alarm clock needed), and skaters & drunk people to keep you up at night as you👏🏼hear👏🏼everything👏🏼. For how much tenants pay in rent, there should definitely be a higher standard kept.
Revel is going to be an incredible place to live. Come join the amentity-driven experience!
