Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Reliable Auto Service. It can be very difficult to find same day service in Milwaukee, but Reliable Auto Service was able to diagnose and fix my problem in the same day. Eric was very communicative, explaining all the issues, what it meant for my vehicle, and different affordable options to me. When I went to pick up, he even showed me the broken parts and how was impacting my steering and alignment. In the end, my car needed more work that he had expected, and he didnt even charge me for the extra part that he needed to purchase. When I didnt have my wallet, I was able to do the Apple Pay option, which was incredibly convenient! My car runs like a dream and I am looking forward to making Reliable Auto Service my go-to place for all things in Milwaukee! Thank you Eric and Reliable Auto Service mechanics!

Eric was able to resolve an issue that a Subaru Dealership and another local shop were unable to resolve. I had an evaporative issue that prevented gas from being added to the vehicle, an obvious problem. One shop actually blamed spiders, yes, arachnids. (That was Kruegers Auto in Cedarburg BTW. Dont use them.) Eric was undaunted by the claim of wayward insects, and did what an EXCELLENT Mechanic does, analyze the problem and determine a solution, (preferably without blaming insects). I had some last min car problems and I called a few places around the area. They had a full day and still managed to squeeze me in and get me out as soon as possible. I dont typically leave reviews, in fact this may be my first, but I felt it was necessary to highlight the team at Reliable Auto Service. I moved to Milwaukee only 2 days ago and I woke up this morning to find my car had a flat tire. After putting the donut on and taking it to the shop, I believe a guy named Eric helped me. He patched my tire, put it back on my car, and checked to make sure the pressure on all the other tires were good- and the icing on top was that he didnt charge me! It took him maybe 10 minutes and he could have charged me whatever he liked as I was in a pinch but that simple act of kindness gained them a customer for as long as I live in Milwaukee.

We flew to Milwaukee from out of town to see our son who is in Milwaukee for the summer. We were scheduled to depart later in the day to drive with our son to Minneapolis using his car when his ABS light came on. We were staying at a nearby hotel and stopped by Reliable Auto Service, without an appointment, hoping they could fit us in to check the car before our 5 hour trip. Eric was friendly and accommodating. It turned out to be a faulty sensor and they fixed it that morning so we could go on our way. The price of the repair was fair and he was wonderful to deal with. I feel comfortable having my son 12 hours from home for the summer knowing that we now have a garage he can go to should he have any automobile issues for the rest of his stay and I would highly recommend them to anyone. The facility was clean, service was prompt and timely, and Eric was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I wish they would move east so I could use them to care for all my vehicles!

My son is a UWM student and his car needed emergency maintenance. Reliable Auto got him in right away and I was able to coordinate the deal over the phone with him from 90 miles away. They even offered to take my sons car to him when they were done. Price was about what I expected, not too high. Highly recommend them!!

I was referred to Reliable by a friend since Ive relocated to the east side in 2017. It was then owned by Paul, with the family business for 30+ years. Very good mechanic, provided me with a custom itemized envelope that recorded all car repair transactions. I also appreciated that they let me use their loaner car. A pristine Toyota, I believe. Well, Paul has now retired and now Eric is the new owner. Wonderful man & mechanic, great customer service. I would recommend Reliabe Auto Service without reservation.

I was so sad when Paul told me our Mazda was on its last legs-not for the car, but because our other is a VW and Reliable doesnt do Euros. For the four years preceding, Paul and company gave us fair and honest assessments and always delivered what they promised. They kept our car in top shape, and advised us on upcoming maintenance issues. They were fast and thorough, and super easy to work with. Cant wait to get another car we can take in to Reliable!

These guys open early (7 am) and did an amazing job when my Ignition Coil and spark plugs went to hell. They even reminded me I needed an oil change (was 2000 miles due, had sticker in my window). All in all they came way under my budget at the end of it... will definitely go back.

I had a flat tire on a bitter, cold winter day. They fixed the tire and offered rides the same day. Other shops turned me away, but these guys fit me in. Great customer service and reasonable pricing. Id recommend.

I had a broken sway bar link on my Jetta. They dont usually do anything with European cars, but Paul was kind enough to help me out. I was in and out in less than an hour, and was charged a very fair price. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, customer focused mechanic.

I spent 1500$ here to get what I was told I absolutely needed to get done, on a car that was less that 5 years old. I was given a guarantee that I’d have NO problems relating to the issue they were going to fix. 4 weeks later the exact same thing happened.I called and was told there is no way that what happened was their fault — blaming me when I’ve done nothing but drive my car after they worked on it.It’s disappointing that they give “guarantees”’to customers paying that much, and 1) don’t fix the problem and 2) do not address the problem when it’s brought to their attention.Now I am out $1500 and need to purchase a new vehicle. Very upset with my entire experience here. They were all very nice and seemingly easy to work with, but now I have been swindled out of my car and my money.They should not make guarantees if they cannot back them up.

I blew a tire driving through town and called a few repair shops to see who could fix it soonest. They had me in and out in 20 mins, were the cheapest by far and were very friendly in the process. No complaints, would trust them with auto work again.

Eric is the man! He worked on my Jeep during one of the big snowstorms and got it finished the same day! He called before doing any work and gave me different prices and options. He also helped us out with my girlfriends car when she was in an accident. Could not give any higher recommendations!
