Incredible experience renting from MKE! I sent them an email stating the type of event I was hosting, not knowing exactly what type of equipment I would need. I got email back within 24 hours with their recommendation for equipment and a quote. They have very reasonable prices in my opinion.When I went to pick up the equipment, I was impressed to see that they had gone through the trouble to set everything up in their studio to make sure everything worked okay and to show me how everything worked. After that they packed everything up and even helped me take it to my car.I did end up having one technical issue the night before my event. Troy, the gentlemen that was helping me from MKE, came in early before hours the next day and helped me troubleshoot the issue and even gave me extra cables and alternate ways to set up my equipment at no extra charge. They really wanted to make sure the event went off without a hitch, which it did. The equipment worked phenomenally and it was definitely worth the investment.I give 10/10 star for my experience! Definitely rent from them! Also Troy was awesome to work with!

The production team is extremely resourceful. If you don’t know how to use the equipment, they make it a point to walk you through it. They test the equipment before renting it out, and their pricing is reasonable. They’re very accommodating with last-minute event requests. They have techs available - really great for groups that don’t want to hire a full A/V production company. Highly recommend!

Chad is my HERO. I missed my pick up window but needed to rent a tent for a vendor event and MKE Production Rental went above and beyond for me!! Despite it being after hours, they responded to my Facebook message promptly. Even with an event taking over the Third Ward they made it work and communicated expertly so that Chad was ready right at the time we agreed on (and so was I). I am eternally grateful beyond words. Awesome. The owner, Jon Kline, has been so helpful with all of our shoots. Theyve got the equipment we need and the patience to explain anything we might not understand. Prices are very fair for the high-end equip they carry. Plus, theres a loading zone right out front so you dont have to carry everything blocks to your vehicle or hope for a good parking spot. The equipment we rented was reasonably priced and they worked with us on timing and pick up.

We just needed two 6 ft. tables for my family Thanksgivivg dinner. Every other place required a minimum rental amaout. MKE did not. They were kind and courteous. They helped load the tables into my car and when I had to return them a day late due to illness they were wonderful about it. I will use MKE again and I will tell people about them.

MKE Production Rental provided gear for a short film in which I was involved. They were more than accommodating in terms of what they offered, and the payoff was the gorgeous footage we were able to shoot. In particular, the HMI Arri Fresnel saved us on multiple occasions where shooting ran late and we had to cheat daylight. Being relatively new to photography (just over a year,) having a resource like MKE Production Rental has been a huge benefit. Between their inventory of rental equipment and willingness to “geek out” about gear, I’ve been able to experiment and grow into this field far faster than I could have on my own. Reading up on lenses only gets you so far – eventually you just need to get your hands on the thing and try it for yourself.Most recently I rented their new Canon 70-200mm f/2.8. Using it at a local fashion runway shoot allowed me to get some incredible closeup shots. The models were on ice-skates and zoomed back and forth pretty rapidly, but the lens’s auto-focus managed to keep up with them surprisingly well.Definitely a fantastic lens, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences working with MKE Production Rental.

Great outdoor movie theater equipment!Rented it for a my dads birthday party and it was a crowd pleaser for all.Easy pick up, drop off and the staff was nice and helpful when I had questions about hooking up the speakers.

I was in a pinch for some HD video gear. My T3i took a turn for the worst. I called MKE Production Rental to see if I could rent a camera and a lens. When I called, they were super helpful and gave me great advice. Surprisingly, I could afford the 5D Mk II and a 50mm Prime and 75-300mm Zoom. I got a lot more bang for my buck. I will definitely be using them more in the future.

I have been renting from here for years; personal & business, but as of late I have been experiencing very poor customer service. From closing earlier than posted times, to very rude behavior over the phone and in person. I recently went to pick up a mic and when I arrived, I was not greeted when I walked in. A mixed young woman gave me the mic in my hand with no case or anything, when I asked for something to put it in she acted as if it was a problem. Then I left, no thank you or have a good day, basic customer service was not there at all. Im very disappointed and will be taking my business somewhere else.

These guys had all of the AV equipment that I needed for an event! Projectors, screens, audio equipment, and cables. They also have very friendly employees who seem to take pleasure in being able to help out.

Ive rented the 5D Mark III along with a vast array of lenses (I recommend the Zeiss ZE Planar T* 50mm F/1.4, and Sigma 20mm f/1.8), Kino Flo lights, Kessler Pocket Dolly and Radian. Everything worked well and the shop was extremely helpful. I had never used a Radian before and Jon took the time to walk me though what I needed to know. I will definitely come back to MKE Production Rental for all of my video equipment needs.
