I truly loved working with my students at LearningRx. Training was just as challenging for me as it was for my students. One of the aspects of LearningRx that I loved is that I could customize the “brain games” for each student I worked with. Because of this, each session pushed each student to dig deeper and focus even more to reach the next level. I would see improvements in my students in a matter of weeks and these improvements always translated to real life scenarios. My students often did better in school, with their homework, with sports, and at home. Working one-on-one gave me the opportunity tailor each session to the needs of that day—whether it be to push them a lot or push a little less if they had a tough day. I believe that this keeps the student engaged and having fun each session. I definitely recommend parents bring their child in to see how it all works! The staff are helpful, accommodating, and try the best to work with your schedule.
Working here was one of the most rewarding experiences. It was amazing to witness our students improve their cognitive skills, and overcome difficulties. I even noticed an improvement in my cognitive skills! The best part was when the parents of our students would tell us they see their child’s progression. So rewarding! The environment was friendly and positive, and I absolutely enjoyed my time working here. In the future, I may just have my daughter enrolled :)
As a former trainer at LearningRx Short Hills, I highly recommend this brain-training program to those of any cognitive level; I even noticed a difference in my abilities!I loved that I was able to tailor the program to each of my unique students, and I always enjoyed when students and parents could see the improvements and apply brain-training concepts outside of sessions. It was quite rewarding to see how the LearningRx program positively impacted clients. It was a great environment to work in as well; my coworkers and supervisors were friendly and extremely helpful. As a former student in the psychology field, I was able to take what I learned as a brain trainer and apply it to my studies and current job.
I really enjoyed my time working as a brain trainer at LearningRx. It was an engaging, interesting job - The environment is friendly & inviting and its rewarding to see the students you work with progress and evolve. Being in a place where people are trying to help each other grow in some capacity is an awesome experience. Even after transitioning to a different job, I still have many positive memories of this place and truly wish it well!
There were so many improvements in my son that it was really amazing to see. His self-esteem has dramatically improved, less frustration and less “I can’t” he no longer comes home with unfinished work from school as extra homework. He went from struggling in writing to the teacher using his papers as an example for the rest of the class. He went from being well below average in short term memory, long term memory and executive functioning to well above average. Plus his IQ went up 21 points! And the best part was he enjoyed going!
I only wish I had known about LearningRx sooner. Our son benefited greatly from completing the nine-month course at LearningRx. He is more confident and has seen his grades go from average to all As as a first quarter high school senior. And he got into the top colleges of his choice! I would recommend LearningRx for everyone who wants to see results!
My girls (ages 7 & 8 at the time) had an amazing experience at Learning RX. The instructors are all wonderful, caring and incredibly patient. One year later, I now see a great improvement in their attention span, their focus, their memory and the shortened amount of time spent on homework.I highly recommend this program for all children and adults as well!
My son attended LearningRx throughout 6th grade. He was just declassified from special education and moving toward Middle School. He couldnt focus, had difficult time retaining information, and he had poor reading comprehension. I am very grateful for the understanding and guidance that the director Cindy Zhou gave to us when we arrived to her center. One of her staff members Michael, made such an enormous impact in Stevens cognitive development, that today my son is 10th grader and doing well at school. His last PSAT score from 10/16/19 was 950, and the highest score is in English (above average). When I look back to see where my son was, all I have to say is thank you from the bottom of my heart. The team at LearningRx is just amazing.
LearningRx really helped me with my anxiety at school. I would get so stressed out with tests and assignments that I would often get questions wrong just because of stress. After getting trained, I learned to perform under pressure and it really made a difference not only academically but outside of school as well.
My Sean attended Learning Rx 4 years ago. He is a senior in college now and has been on the Deans list for the past 3 years. I attribute much of Seans success to the training he received at Learning Rx. I highly recommend the program.
LearningRx is amazing. Its like working out for your brain. In my college career so far the best semester Ive had was the semester after doing LearningRx. As a guy with ADHD learningrx helped me focus more intensely, allowed me focus for longer, improved my memory and overall cognitive speed. If your a kid or an adult looking to be a sharper tool in the shed, LearningRx is for you.
Our 4th grader really struggled with processing written and oral material...we were getting desperate and decided to try LearningRX. Within a month his performance started to improve from unacceptable to almost acceptable. We are glad we went through the program. At the right time, I would love to go through the program myself!
Great people to work with, very experienced. Professionals ready to answer all your questions regarding your childs learning skills.
We originally took our son to LearningRx because he was struggling in school. LearningRx not only helped bring his grades up but also helped him have a more positive attitude when it came to his school work. I would highly recommend LearningRx to any parent with a struggling student.
This program helped my daughter care more about school work, retain information longer resulting in higher test scores and built up her self-confidence.
If you feel your child is missing out at school, you got him tutors and didn’t feel, that it really helped, you don’t know where to start and what to do, may be tour child has some learning disability, do not think twice, take your child to nearest LearningRx. You are in good hands, they don’t tell you stories how great they are. It is very simple, your child goes through the test, you go over the details of the test, it shows all aspects of your childs abilities. Programs that learningRx has is individual, it is designed for your childs needs only. Give it 6 month, you will never regret that you spent your money on the program, that will help him to have right learning habits for the entire life. I wish they had this program, when I was a kid. My son love learningRx, you don’t have to remind him, he runs to meet with his teacher, his teacher is like family member, who has full knowledge of your childs ability, gradualy teaching him to achive execellence in certain area of previous weakness. I advise every parent, if you are looking to help your child, to get correct learning habits, make sure to let them take LeatningRx program.
I wasnt a typical client of theirs but they managed to find a couple trainees who have really helped me over the past year. I came to them as an adult survivor of a traumatic brain injury, and while I was functioning as an adult once again I still had some frustrating cognitive problems. They set up a training program based on my initial assessment and got me started with exercises that targeted my weaknesses. This is hard work to be honest. The exercises and games start out easy but they quickly find your current level and start pushing onward in difficulty. It can be frustrating but the trainers are pretty good at sensing your stress tolerance. Its worth the effort to do this work but it isnt like straight academic training or tutoring. Its a regimen that works your brain that winds up paying off in indirect ways.
My sons simply think faster and sharper and score improved at schools. It is slightly expensive, but its worth it.
