24 hour fitness should feel obligation to its members and return operation back to 24 hours.There are no requirements for the gym to continue to close early, and there is not increased risk from COVID during later hours.It is apparently the decision of 24 Hour Fitness to maintain restricted hours, and Im about to give up waiting for return to normal hours of operation.24 Hour Fitness should be aware there are Health Club competitors that are making expanded hours available to its members.

Been a member for 8 plus years and just closed my account recently. I’ve been overcharged many times throughout the past year and when I went to speak to them since their number doesn’t work the lady that worked at the front desk was super rude to me. I asked to speak to the manager or someone else who can help me but she refused to let me talk to anyone else so I closed my account right on the spot. The lady was unprofessional and extremely rude since the moment she saw me. I’ve spoken to other members about her and they also say she is rude to them as well. The management needs to do something about the way she treats members even better they shouldn’t have her work there at all.

Theyre trying their best to deal with the virus. The weight area is still crowded at 5-6 pm on weekdays. Unlike when I was in West Hollywood last week, a few people dont wear mask or wipe down their machines.The cardio machines are virtually empty cuz I guess most people dont want to wear a mask while doing cardio.

Been with them for more than 15 yrs, I finally give up on them, broken bathroom, rusty equipments, the list goes on an on...

This 24 Hour Fitness is very clean. The Covid-Precaution are in place, so it felt safe to train. The gym gets busy fast so plan to wait in line in the late afternoon. Have fun!

Why is 14 Hour Fitness charging the same monthly fee as 24 Hour Fitness?

The time is from 11pm to 4am and there was almost everyone at the locker room tried to get the steam room and sauna but no luck due to cleaning timing being so wrong almost everywhere knows that that almost rush hours!Thanks

Trash service ... does not have compound training equipment

Do not go to this gym if this lady named Fabi works on her shift. She is acting like a big boss there and often gives hard time to club members. Since last week 9/23/20, when the gym reopened to let members come with no reservation needed, we came to the club with ease. However, when Fabi started to work yesterday 9/28/20, she only allowed member coming in if someone left. Her action resulted in a super long line in the narrow stairway with people standing to each other waiting to get inside the club. What is the point of no reservation? We had to wait almost an hour to get inside the club. Even worst, she let her boy friend come in and out to work out there anytime he wants. She was policing members to wear mask but she let her boyfriend not wearing mask freely including herself. She needs to be fired because shes extremely rude to members and offers no good customer service at all.

So glad 24 hour are opening up. Came here 2 days in a row. First at night, pretty crowded. Day time less people.

So I get this email from 24 hour asking me to complete a survey which I did. They in turn gave me a 30 day pass. So tonight, Tuesday 12/18 @ around 8 pm I went there to sign up for the pass. The man he says his name is Omar said it was only for locals. My ID says Im from Oakland. But I do work in the area. And it would have been nice to get in a workout before heading home. I did look at the email and it did say local. Personally I dont consider Oakland to be out of town, but I could be wrong? Anyway, he turns me away and I show him where I work with the address (Burlingame) which was till not good enough, maybe they consider that out of town too? I dont say this lightly but I feel he did not like who I was as in my race. Because he was giving another member a hard time about bringing in a guest and she (the member) tells him she had never had to have her guests show an ID. She looked like me. My friends warned me about 24 hour fitness and their tactics. Now I understand. I just cant get over their marketing department got me into the front door only to be turned away. Now that is how one shoots their self in the foot.

One of the best 24 fitness gyms. Other ones in the area suck! So even though this one is pretty far away - I still go here because its so much nicer. It sucks that the chain cant make all 24 fitnesses nice or at least with a towel service because its super inconvenient to bring so many towels with you and wash and dry them at home all the time. Anyways - this Gym is clean, staff is friendly, 2 different saunas - pretty good vibe. I come there almost every day. I recommend this one for everybody!

Just canceled my membership. At least a dozen people not wearing masks. When I spoke the front desk about the policy the lady stated they are required but they don’t enforce it.

Other 24 hour fitness super sports are much betterthe machines are in a bad conditionshalf of them dont workaudio jacks in some dont workno swimming poolpretty small and not much place to exercise if the group classless are oneven water fountains dont work well!Staff is good apart from a few!And I say this as I have used other 24 hour super sports. The one in Sunnyvale is a lot bigger and spacious. Has better facilities - swimming pool, machines, etc.

I like the gyms that have spas and pools and saunas and swimsuit dryers... But i love the employees at this gym :)

Love this place after 12am. Clean and new equipment. Best part barely anybody there. Just the way I like it.

The gym is big enough to get any kind of workout. However, theres only one bathroom for all. I question why would there only be one bathroom for all. Right? I walked to use it a few days ago and it was completely filthy and dirty. 🤮🤮🤮... I will not be joining a gym that doesnt keep their amenities clean.

There are only a few locations with Lateral machine. This is one of them. They have clean bathrooms. Some lockers with number locks that you dont need to prepare your own padlocks. There are one sauna and one steam. However no hooks in the showers that you can put the towel they prepare or even your personal items. Kinda inconvenient. Overall, its still one of the best locations on SF Peninsula.

They don’t have pool and most of the time they have some problem

They should give a discount on the monthly membership because now is not a 24 hour gym anymore if they are not given the full service, we shouldnt pay the same amount . But they always try to take advantage of the situation.

Been coming here for alot of years but lately its been very fustrating with the number of machines that are broken. Seems to take long to get them fixed. (stair machine) Also the air conditioner is way to low, its to warm in the gym.

It’s 8:16 am Wednesday, August 1st and two other members and I had been waiting for a large towel or someone to appear at the front desk on Millbrae 24 hours fitness super sport, there were two representatives in an open office from were they can see us waiting for someone, the first one I saw was Hillary Tran, a Master Trainer who looked at us a couple of times and didn’t say or give us a signal of wanting to check on us, the second one named Marlene at the time was walking around carrying coffee, she walked by us and didn’t said a word. Realizing that, I decided to wave my hand to Hillary, then she looked at me and started walking towards us, but never to say a word or check on us, she just walked away with a face of ( I’m not me the person that should care about whatever you need right now) after that I make the same signal to Marlene then she looked at me and said I’m logging in, we wait, she came, I told her I need a towel, she said I don’t have any, probably I have to grab them at the dryer. Then she answered a call, and started checking on all the other members that by that time I had been waiting for around 6-8 minutes, which can sound like nothing but can also be the time that someone need to get to work on time after waking up earlier to workout. I’m not a person that like to take time to write a review but I consider this disrespectful because on this kind of Gym they charge us more for a towel service and a better service in general and 24 Hours Fitness will never allow me to say, wait I can’t pay my membership now.

People here have absolutely no gym etiquette in the weights section. And overall creep factor is pretty high.

Always broken equipment. Never fixed. No towels-broken machine sign. For at least 2 months now. Dirty facility no filteration with air conditioning. Smells so bad it hits your face when you walk in. Better off going to San Francisco location or San Mateo.

Not enough showers, shower heads are like razors, you cant stay under that high pressure sharp water comfortably.

This is not a super sport! They dont have a swimming pool, spa or towel service. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Good place to work out but has a small number of free weight benches and bars. Also dont have much of an area to take a break.

Im a local and this is everything you need to know about this gym.1. Theres no pool/ hot tub and is not up to code with super sport.2. Congested with no AC3 Negligence for sanitation, customers4. Stingy with towels-1 towel limit. Also most the time theres no towels as advertised in the contract. Also towels are uncovered.5. Only 1 unisex/ wheel chair accessible restroom that has soiled towels all over the floor.

They should rebrand this as an Active. Seriously, its tiny and there are never towels. Ive been going there 3 years and I understand ocassional shortages but there has not been towels for 7 weeks! People are sweating all over the place. Granted some people take 6 towels but thats what they are paying for. An increasingly expensive privilege.

With all these bad ratings I saw a good gym. The heavy bag is gone which blows. And the weights are closed off for now. But other than that its a good place. less people who come here the better for me. I go to gyms that are worse than 24 hr in gellert. Im surprised nobody died from a disease there. Ive been around dead things that smell better than that place. so Millbrae is good. Nothing wrong with those machines. clean. Good spot. Just need the free weights back.

Good place for a quick workout after or before work but I wouldnt really call it a SuperSport gym. It feels and acts more like a Active Gym. No pool, basketball court, it has only one classroom, and the place is tiny... I dont understand why they would call it a SuperSport...

Probably one of the worst Super Sports Ive been to so far. Maybe if this was a normal 24 Hour Fitness Sport gym, Id be more lenient, but theres only 2 power racks, not enough barbells and more than half of the floor space is taken by cardio machines. I could pay less with a lower membership and all Id lose is the towel service.

Garbage.A super sport without a swimming pool. Without all the equipment. And no parking lot.

Look around! ! This gym is dirty ! ! Look at the signs - All the dust on them! Look at all the dust in gears of the machines !! Look at all the oil in the gears...DO NOT be fooled by one visit - A towel is not worth paying what they ask for that gym - They have bigger locations with more options. Oh and as far as the towel goes - The washer has been broken for 3 weeks as of this posting and all they keep saying is next week ...They should pay for a towel service in the mean time...I mean who are they kidding? It is a washer - 3 weeks? Fix it already ! ! There is zero ventilation at this gym also ...Your not sweating because your working out hard - Your sweating because they DO NOT run the a/c - It is on the second floor and they only have two a/c units and look up towards the laundry vent - All the heat in there is aimed into the work out area and the have no fans to circulate the good air they do have ....This place is just a mess....

Fabulous gym, outstanding staff, nice atmosphere, easy parking. Male bathrooms stall waiting to be fixed (doesnt lock) for months.

The equipment is well-used, and its usually very crowded at this location, so I tend to steer clear of it unless I ABSOLUTELY need to/am in the area. Overall, its not a bad spot. The women never seem to flush the toilets or keep the seats clean, though.

As 24 hour re opens, one issue comes to mind. I used to attend 24 hour regularly, there was always some clown in the mens locker posing and taking photos of himself, the sign about no photos was not a deterrence, i had to confront a few guys about their picture taking, only to have the clown get confrontational and defensive with me, and i really dont like to have confrontations, especially in the locker room. Having to fetch a staff about this matter was not a solution, the clowns would always be long gone by the time a staff was aware. Too many of the staff are passive any way.It is a dreadful thought to think that there are photos of some of the rest of us in the back ground of the selfies as we dry ourselves in our birthday suits.This is an issue 24 hour needs to address .

Easy to park and has pretty much all the same equipment that youd except at a super sport. Two stars taken off because theres no pool nor b-ball or racquet ball court.

I like this gym because the weight room is nice and has everything I need. It has a chill atmosphere and its convenient, also they seem to have gotten the air conditioning under control and towel service is back, so no complaints here.

The dirtiest, grimiest and smelliest Super Sport Ive ever been to. I expected it to be small, which it was, but I didnt expect it to be so outdated and dirty. I felt unclean even after a shower. They dont have enough showers and barely enough lockers during their peak hours. There was only one kind-hearted worker that helped me, but I couldnt name her because she wasnt wearing her name tag. There was literally other 4 staffers standing around at the front desk when there was a lot to clean and tidy up on the main floor and in the locker room (weights and plates littered all over and a high stack of towels in the locker room). Thank goodness I dont live near this 24HF.

Arrived to learn 24 hour Sport did not have towels. No problem. However, the gym was filthy dirty with paper towels everywhere on the floor. Several staff were casually attending the front desk. Its disgusting to see the lack of care and daily maintenance (facility and machines) in this gym.

This place is filthy! The equipment is either old or inoperative. I cant believe they have the audacity to call this 24 hour fitness a Super Sport. The only redeeming quality is that the people at the front desk are friendly. All in all, I strongly discourage going to this gym.

In 2020 still not the best in Bay Area, there are no towels, not very clean and the smell is bad, too many people all the time, no swimming pool, no jacuzzi, no basketball area and expensive for nathing. Some workers so nice. They do not deserve one star.

Its going downhill fast. The only thing that makes it a super sport is the towel service. The classes they offer arent as good as they used to be, and they dont offer as many as other clubs.

Poorly maintained facilities weight plates and dumbells all over the floor windows are extremely dirty and cover with spider cob web and spiders eggs very dusty and too many broken down machines the worst is the Hulky dudes dropping heavy weights on the floor making a lot of noise.The staff does not walk the floors advising or making corrections on this type of bad habits sometimes it feels like the wild west with nothing to stop it.

This gym should definitely not be a super sport, no pool, no basketball court, no towels because the laundry machines are broken. Take this gym off the super sport level

Locker room and shower stinks. Constantly out of soap. Advice for management to visit club like Supersports Redwood City to see how other club clean and replenish supplies!

First 24 hour fitness super sport in the bay area. Parking is usually pretty good. Not as nice and big like the other locations in San Mateo, Pleasanton, and Livermore

Poorly managed. Always having plumbing problems. Machines take forever to get fixed. A real disapointment.

Way too many people during regular hours. Towels down like half the year every year, why is it a super sport if we cant get our towels? Also no wifi.Edit: jan2019 no towel since last year. Paying extra for no towel

My previous account mentioned the big points of this gym. All Ill add is they havent had towel service for two weeks, and that was the only positive about it. Other than the surplus of cardio machines (still a bunch of those are broken) this is the worst gym in the Bay Area. Not the worst 24, but the worst gym as a whole.

Nice facility.

This is not a super sport. There are no courts, employees usually just talking to each other, and most personal trainers look like they need one themselves. The locker room is crowded even at 5am when i go. Theres one of each machine and only one set of dumbbells. If it were a 24 hr express id give it 3 starts but for a super sport its an embarrassment. Not even private showers.

I have a membership I started about three weeks agoIn Millbrae California just outside of San Francisco it’s such an awesome place I mean it has great community is there an awesome Jim the restrooms were you could take a shower and get cleaned up in the lockers steam room it’s just fantastic there and I have a trainer that is very very very awesome They have a place for you can buy health foods in locks then just it’s great up stairs were you can look down in the view is just great 24 hour fitness and it’s all the way up and down the peninsula of The northern California it is so convenient because it’s a home away from home because I work for Uber and lift and soOn my downtime I just go there And so it’s a win-win for me I get to work out so I can just get into shape actually I got to do just tone up so I will keep being in shape and then I’ll be able to clean up and showered and fresh myself and go to work it’s just awesome because I do work in the city of San Francisco and I am just living life love it thank you 24 fitness.

This is supposed to be a premium class gym for 24 Hour Fitness. The restrooms were disgusting, the partitions and door stalls were all broken. This is unacceptable and/or indicative of poor management. Additionally, no one folds the towels -- even when theyre clean. This is a sign of whats more convenient for the employee(s) than what was promised and paid for by the patron. Cmon maaaaan!

Okay gym with the very basics a gym has to offer, but in no way is this a super sport 24 hour gym...

This is a Super Sport and have no swimming pool, so why this club called super sport at all? There is no WiFi, staff tell you that WiFi working, but you gonna just spent time useless trying to open pages. But th here is a good point at this gym too- is working atmosphere, seems it more easy get involved in gym itself, its why I rate 3 but not 2 stars.

The mgmt has always been bad for the 7 years that Ive been there in that they dont make the staff perform routines checks & maintenance.They often run out of soap or toilet paper until you tell them coz they wait for a customer to complain before they do anything. Likewise, they almost never rerack the weights. They do the bare minimum.The a/c never works right all summer & the whole time they say that theyre working on it.They have 2 sets of washers & dryers but somehow they both go out. Then they post that they have an emergency repair order in but a week or two later, theres still no towels & then they say that they cant get the parts.I go there coz its so close to where I live but Im embarrassed by how its kept.

Pretty much always packed until about 9:30 pm haha. Staff is always super friendly and nice. Has all the equipment you want but no pool or courts at all. Locker rooms and such are decent.Main complaints are broken equipment (treadmills) and weights EVERYWHERE. Lazy slobs like to leave their weights all over the place. Wish the staff would more frequently rerack them instead of having me waste time searching for the ones I need. :

Extremely crowded at all times, hard to use equipment because of how crowded it is. Good luck trying to get s bench, squat or leg press. Plenty of cardio machines. Clean. Hex plates.

For a super sport, they are lacking swimming pool and basketball courts. The only thing that makes them super is that they provide towels. This facility is filthy. The mens room has always been disgusting. Things that break here takes forever to repair. Their dryers broke so there were no towels for over 2 weeks. One dec, one of the water fountain broke before Xmas and wasnt fixed until Feb. Torn shower curtains takes months to replace. Part of the facility was closed for roof repairs earlier this year. It took months.

Have been a member for over 5 years. Enjoy the young competent staff but the facility is not being maintained properly. The air quality is awfull. you come to work out early in the morning and the air is already stale and it is hot. Very unhealthy because you feel that you are just breathing your own exaust...Talked to management and received a run around (everything is fine..) Asked to be called to discuss the situation, still waiting...

Location is great but facilities have not been updated lately, the machines have wear & tear & dust, some bathroom fixtures broken. Service has always been good though.

Its okay if you just want to get your workout. by the way 24hr employee the mens room sometimes smells like a homeless has been pissing the walls.

Not the best 24 hour fitness in the area. When busy you will have to wait for squat racks and benches

They are a super sport because they provide towels. Seen blood on the bathroom floor more than once. They dont communicate with you about your bill. Good times.

Took down a star because bathroom area is pretty nasty. Other than that the gym is great except its probably only Supersport without a swimming pool in area.

BAD. Allowed me to sign up for free trial on website but did not allow me to use gym because I could not present proof that I lived in city. $25 for a drop in fee.

Clean, but this is not only the smallest 24 hour super sport, it is one of the smallest gyms I have every been too period. It does seems that all 24 hour fitness in the bay area are sub par compared to the most basic 24 hour fitnesss inPortland, LA, Orange County and San Diego
