Whoever delivers mail to the Hammocks apartment complex needs to be fired and banned from ever working for the USPS. Its absolutely unacceptable for packages containing solid and potentially fragile things to be shoved into the mail slot when there are literally package slots on the bottom. The sheer laziness of the mail delivery guy we get is astounding. I should not have to break things just to get them out.

Did not get the employee’s name due to how frustrated I was but he wore glasses and was about 5’5 to 5’8 he chuckled at my problem, he honestly wasn’t trying to help me. Would not recommend, go to lynnwood instead.

Rain, sleet, snow....oh but not a few stairs!!!If the post office ever wants to look at why they are losing money maybe they should look at their customer service. Ever since I moved to my current home, if I order something that doesnt fit in my box, I have to go pick it up at the post office. Ups, fed ex, DHL, etc all manage the 10 extra feet and few stairs. Whats up with usps? When I asked the response was we no required to deliver door to door, thats the regulation, have a nice day when I continued to ask she gave the same response, verbatim! Followed by her motioning to the next person in line.As theres nothing else I can do Ive decided to simply ask shippers to not use usps. Not holding my breath someone from usps will read this or care.

Nice, spacious post office with two self-serve package mailing kiosks in the front lobby (though they have limited options including no Media Mail option). You have to go into the main room for counter service to get Media Mail and full options, but the room is spacious (easy to social distance), the cashiers have plastic screens between them and you, and they’re very nice and competent/well-versed in their work so you can get reliable info about whatever your shipping needs are. Service can be a tad slow at times because this post office is always in high demand and some customers have multiple things to mail or overly complicated shipments to make, etc. But overall, a really pleasant, efficient and well-appointed post office for our community.

Delivery of a package from OfferUp was misdirected/lost on Aug. 24, 2021. The incompetent carrier marked the status of the tracking number as delivered. I never received the package in my mailbox, nor a key for a parcel locker, or package left at my front door. Based on the delivered status of the tracking#, OfferUp, the seller, and my credit card issuer will not honor my claims. Im out over $20 due to their negligence. Terrible service from this PO branch.

I recently reported a missing piece of mail that showed up on my informed delivery. My mail carrier went beyond the call of duty to locate that missing piece and let me know as soon as it was found and where to pick it up. Ive never met a male carrier that went that far to make sure his customers were happy. Thank you so much

Employees arent particularly competent. Despite having proof of a paid for label, receipt and barcode the clerk claimed it was impossible to print my label without a QR code. When asked how to obtain the QR code I was told I have no idea but thats what I need. There seems to be a pretty low bar for training employees. even across branches

If you go this place, bring with you full bag of patience and expect for a bad service, prepare your self to it, cuz if not, you will see and your mood will be down after their service

I want to give a good review but it just seems like they are always understaffed and the staff acts with no urgency. Every time I have to go inside, I’m waiting a minimum of 10 minutes... I will say that most of the staff is friendly though.

Consistently the worst post office experience you can possibly have. Impossible to get in and out quickly and half the employees English is incomprehensible so trying to ask questions about a lost package is impossible. Avoid at all costs.

My apartment complex has had a broken mailbox section now for about 10 weeks and the post office still has not come out to fix it. 10 weeks without access to our mailbox doesn’t sound right, does it??! Whenever I call and ask they just say “we’ll get to it” and are very rude and not helpful

I dont understand why they are so mean at this office? I have to say even though they dont think much of Heather wood apts we are not all bad. That being said my carrier is nice, patient and helpful. But, for whatever reason and no matter how many years I have had to call the post office its always the same. Impatient, annoyed and seemily has something far more interesting to do then help a worried customer. So again I am left with a bad taste of a rotten experience. A decade and counting... I can say the carriers Ive known here are great. Maybe they are over worked at the office? Idk. I wish I didnt have to feel like I cant or shouldnt call locally and stick with the 800 #.?! It is what it is I suppose.

I have a pobox here and I ship a lot at the counter. Most of the counter employees are nice. I know most of them because I come in a lot. Yes there are some lines sometimes. I feel bad for the counter employees because there usually is a line, I think they are overworked. These days with corona I would not want to come into contact with hundreds maybe thousands of people daily. I would recommend this post office. Most of the bad reviews are from one bad experience you have to look at the bigger picture. I have been in here like 100x in past year, maybe out of the 100, 5 have been poor. But hey 95 have been allright/ good. Thank you for reading my review.

They suddenly cant deliver packages to the door.. but they also didnt notify anyone who lives here about the change. They cant deliver to the office durring the delivery window... showing up routinely after 8pm. They cant scan packages correctly so when I go to get them at the post office like they tell me to, they arent even in the building and they have me wait up to 20 minutes each time while they go look. ...and... this has happened to me MULTIPLE times in the past few months.

Went to this place on Saturday 02/27 to ship a large flat rate box. The box had a little bump and they refused to take it and they asked me re package it with out the bump. Their logic was it is a flat rate box so box should be flat. I had my 7 months old baby with me and it was not possible for me to repackage the box and come back to the post office on a different day. I requested them and spoke to the supervisor as well. But they refused to take the package. Then I went to the bothell post office with the same package on the same day. They took it with out any questions. Then I realized it is not in their policy but those people are just rude and like to give people hard time. Save your trip and dont go to this USPS location. Go to Bothell one.

Went in at approx 2:30pm Wednesday 1/6/21 to get a money order cashed. Was told that it could not be processed because they were on last call. Went to Lynnwood USPS and not only did they verify and cash on the spot they said what happened at Mill Creek made no sense to them and that I shouldnt have had an issue.

The counter employee was very rude and yelled to my daughter and I because we couldn’t understand what she was asking . When I asked “Jae” to please be more courteous and respectful in her tone she went ahead and continued to yell. Very unpleasant visit. It’s very important to train employees about the importance of using words like please and thank you. Definitely my last visit . Too many other options when in comes to shipping to pay for experiences of this kind.

Jane was very unprofessional.What a jokeLazy, unhelpful, and rude employees right when you walk through the door.You can self print a label here BUT WAIT they wont stick the label on for you. What would cost them maybe $.02 they instead insist you go buy a $5 packing tape. NOTE: Other USPS will stick the label on for you!

I visited them twice to check on a missing package that was supposed to be delivered to my parcel locker. The first time, I was told that the supervisor would call us regarding the matter. The second time around, I was made to wait standing for nearly 30 minutes for the supervisor to come talk to me regarding the matter. At the end of it, the supervisor never came and assisted us. They had no clear answer on how the package could be tracked. The package contains my contact lens which is quite expensive and their irresponsible behaviour is totally unacceptable and unethical. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

I want this post office to be good and efficient, but it isnt. Ive lived near it for a year and still havent ever been able to get up to the counter for help. Each time Ive gone there, Ive stood in line for a long time and the line doesnt move. Ive ended up going to the UPS nearby each time, and its great. Professional people, quick service, and your mail gets delivered.

This post office lies about not being able to access for delivery. My driveway is 20 feet away from the locked mailboxes for our area. The driver could clearly see that my front door is not blocked and there was no cars in the driveway and no cars blocking the driveway. Yet they decided to just not deliver my package and claim “driveway / front door not accessible”. A complete fabrication. I’m supposed to trust you with my daily mail, or my voting when your drivers just make up lies like that? Let’s be real, the delivery attempt time was 5:30, your guy just wanted to go home and decided my mail didn’t matter. What useless service.

I visited this post office for the first time today around noon. I was using the automated package machine and was having a lot of trouble with the keypad and the address entering. An employee who seemed to be there for this exact reason greeted me warmly and helped me troubleshoot solutions. I wish I had caught her name, because she was wonderful.

In the past year and change we have had multiple misdeliveries from this place. In addition most recently, someone used the credit card we were sent in the mail and spent over $400. Luckily we were able to dispute it, but its been ridiculous!

I went in to ship a return and Jae walked right up looking disinterested and bored. I told her what I needed and she helped me achieve my goal, but not in a very nice way. Her way of speaking is very condescending and belittling. At the very end I asked her if she had any type of free pamphlets that explain the process of shipping items, mailing letters, and how stamps work since I’m not knowledgeable in those kinds of things. I always have to go by whatever they tell me and sometimes I feel like they are not being very honest. Instead she gave me a book of the history of stamps and ripped two pages off the book saying, “my daughter needs this,” right in front of me. I didn’t say anything instead glared at her and left. ARE YOU FOR REAL?! Someone should teach her some manners because this is not okay. Horrible customer service. Sadly, I will continue going to this post office because it’s the closest to my house. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

Its clear that the general perspective is a lack of care for anything. Im not sure if the reason is a lack of pay, the repetition of doing a job that is easily automated, or that they deal with the general public. I try to be polite and give praise and thank yous but they always fall on deaf ears.I dont think everyone who works in the post office is awful, but there sure are enough people working there to give the business a bad reputation.

First off Im not sure what all these negative reviews are about I live out of state and I had a major issue on my hand from an item I sold someone on eBay the lady was super polite do you not have to wait long for someone to get on the phone the menu was very easy to use to get someone on the phone and when I did I explained my situation even told her I was out of state he made my experience very very easy thank you so much without a doubt Ive called other post offices not to knock the other ones but this one is by far the best customer service Ive had thank you again have a blessed day.

Wish I could give this Post Office the 0 stars they deserve. In the 9 months that my family has lived in Mill Creek, we have had packages delivered to the wrong address not just once, but twice. The first time, My husband kept going in to talk to them. It took a few days for them to locate the glasses my husband ordered. Now, I ordered a mask from Etsy, because it would get here before masks from anywhere else. I’m now out $19.00 and empty-handed because they don’t know where they delivered it to, though my tracking info says it was delivered it to my mailbox two days ago. They said there isn’t anything they can do. Awesome...I’m traveling tomorrow and have no mask.

I am literally in the process of filing a formal complaint after yet another mistake has resulted in me having to do my mail deliverers job. It could just be my driver, it could be the whole place, all I know is I hate feeling like adding another one star review here might prepare someone who is forced to go here like i am for the sheer level of inability found within.

I mail a lot of packages and clearly people who work here don’t care about anything but the air they breath and fall into the lazy government worker category. Customer service is HORRIBLE, there is no accountability for anything, including the packages they sign for or the packages they accept. Acceptable packages change with shifts and the responses they give include “too bad”& “You look upset”. Do yourself a favor find a different post office. It’s truly a bummer this place is such a mess.

They seem to have difficulty shipping mail to the correct address. My birthday card has been in limbo for over two weeks now for some reason and outgoing mail has ended up at the wrong address and shipped back and forth a few times. I dont ship anything through these folks anymore and unfortunately cannot avoid incoming mail getting routed through this incompetent branch.

The Vietnamese girl there was not a kind or helpful person. I had a package to send out when she was the one helping me. The postage was about $25 for 2 days delivery. But I had the package not completely taped. So I asked to use the tape available at the counter feeling it was not a big deal. I could not believe her reaction... She said no. She said the tape is for the post office staff use only. Wow. Then she immediately hid the tape away. I am an Asian, I just knew how other Asian treats Asians, but this was just mean. I am sure if the person was other race, she would kiss their asses.

Our clerk was very helpful and friendly. He took the time to help us figure out what we needed effectively and in a professional manner. It was very busy and understaffed (which is the norm for most small post offices) but from I could see every clerk helped their customers as quickly and politely as possible. The majority of issues in the reviews of this office and most others seems to be unprepared customers; if every customer in a line of twenty isn’t ready to go of course your wait is going to be an hour! For being so busy our clerk had a nice smile :)

My company ships chocolate (actually, the best sugar free chocolate ever created, but that is a whole different story). So, when a customer called to say that she had not received her package, even after the postal tracking showed delivery, I called this post office. The phone was answered on the 3rd ring by Donna, who GPS tracked the package to find out that it was delivered to the wrong address. Donna then got in her car and went to the incorrect delivery address to retrieve the package. Then, Donna re-delivered the package to correct address within 20 minutes. Did I mention that I called at 4:00 pm on a Friday?!? WOW! Donna, you are amazing. Thank you for such excellent service. We have been working with the post office for 13 years to deliver chocolate and this is the best service I have ever received. Thank you again.

Lost my package and has no way for me to track it down. Waited 45 minutes in line to find that out and their answer is go to our website. The only thing keeping these guys in business is government subsidies. Youd have better luck tying your package to a donkey and having it walk cross country than shipping anything through the USPS.

Got a notice that packages were too big for the lockers. So I signed the notice, left it in mailbox and even submit redelivery request online as instructed in the notice but got a call telling me they do not redeliver and forced me to pick it up. The office close at 5pm when everyone else is still at work. The notice was practically junk and surepost system pretty much sucks.

I received a text that my package was available for pickup at the post office. Interestingly, it also said the customer (me) requested hold for PO pickup which was not true. The clerk asked if I had a slip. How would I have a slip if the package was held for customer pickup? I explained I had a text from USPS and their own tracking saying it was at the PO for pickup. Without looking at any data she said its not here. Hmmmm....My wife was home all day and the apartment office was also available to receive packages. Of course, no one will be held accountable....

I usually dont write reviews but I thought I would just chime in and offer a different experience since the great majority of reviews are negative.I dont go to the post office often but every time I have visited Mill Creek USPS I have had a good experience. After waiting in line (which I expect,) I am greeted by a patient and knowledgeable employee who helps me with my several questions and lack of mailing packages knowledge. They have also been patient with my entourage which usually includes at least one child who A) Doesnt want to be there and B) Is trying to get at, open or tear something.

All of our area post offices are overwhelmed, so I think you can expect a line no matter where you go. If you have to talk to staff, just plan to fight for parking and to stand in line. I like going to this location off hours because you can easily park and use the self-serve package machine, which is pretty slick. I have learned NEVER to go here on a Saturday because you wont find a parking spot. Evenings after they close are the best times to go.

This post office seems to not be aware of passport renewal services. After waiting in line behind 20 people, I was turned away with my items for a passport renewal. It was already nearing closing time. The person working there sent me to the City of Mill Creek building. She told me that she thought it would be closed at 6:00pm and also closed on Mondays (which it was a Monday), but I could head over there. I headed over to the City of Mill Creek building where the person working in the passport office was appalled. She couldnt believe the post office sent me to their office when I just needed to mail in my passport renewal. Since their office was closing, she couldnt help me any further. The post office supplies the envelopes needed to mail passport renewals. The City of Mill Creek passport services is open Mon-Fri until 5:00pm. The person at the post office had no idea. I was sent back to the post office, but it was closed by the time I returned. I think for the future, the post office should train its employees on passport renewal services and shouldnt probably send people off without finding out first. It didnt help I left early from work to get this finished. So, no passport renewal and missed work hours AND a lot of running around for no reason. For the future, training would be beneficial and less embarrassing for the establishment that should be aware of it!

Its a post office, not the most exciting place to be. The staff is helpful and nice most days. I have gone in when they are grumpy. I sell a lot of stuff on eBay and sometimes I need to drop parcels off after hours, half the time the drop off box is locked and its annoying. But other than that its a decent post office.

She helped me track down the package and gave instructions for the mail carrier to ensure it go to me. A pleasant surprise given the stereotypical bad service the post office is known for.

When i called them about undelivered package they said it was sent to mail-recovery center, they asked me what was in the package and how much value, gave me case # and promised to investigate and to call me back. No one called me back. 7 days later i called them again, they said case # is useless, they asked me for tracking number, and then they said again that it went to to mail recovery center because something was spilled on the shipping-label and that when package goes to mail recovery center it means its gone and not recoverable. Why do they call it RECOVERY center then?

This post office does not deserve the shown rating. My boyfriend and I have had to use this office regularly since our apartment mailboxes were broken into. It is a huge inconvenience for them to have to hold our entire complexs mail and they have handled it beautifully. At first, it took them a long time to sort but within days they had hired more people and often times when the line is long they ask specifically for people just picking up mail. The entire situation was awful but they did what they could to make it easier.

I handed a package with a Smart Label to a clerk, he took the package and I asked for a receipt, he said there is no receipt on Smart Labels! The clerk mentioned that you can track the package on line.After 24 hours of dropping the package and when I track the package I get a message item/tracking not found.I went in person and talked to the same clerk and I explained to him my problem, he said it is because the package is not scanned yet, it took him less than 30 seconds to find the package and show it to me!Now after 48 hours of dropping the package and when tracking the item it gives me a message NOT FOUND.Today I will go in person to talk to a supervisor.

I have not had any issues with this post office. I think if you go in with a bad attitude you are going to be looking for something negative.We are all human, stressed, overworked and underappreciated. ALL of us. Try to be more compassionate with EVERYONE you deal with and you will find people respond much better to honey than vinegar.

Worst post office ever! They lost my package and were not willing tohelp me look it up and find out why they sent it back to Seattle post office instead of delivering it to my location in Mill Creek. Oh Ya, it was priority overnight that should have been delivered three days ago. The female manager (black women) was not helpful and was looking for anyway not to help me. She tried sending me to the Everett post office instead.Once I got to the Everett post office and ask for help, they sent me back to the Mill creek location. Unreal and you can not make this up. Fedex will be the only way I send anything out in the future.

Received notice of attempted package delivery saying I wasnt home their first attempt. They never knocked, I as I was right by the front door. Ran after them to no avail. Signed sheet for them to leave for next day, IGNORED slip and left another slip, 3rd attempt was today ignored slip again! Called multiples times and got hung upon twice, 3 more times no answer. Not happy

BEYOND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEA Certfied Package, small envelope was sent almost a month ago and they still cannot figure out who lost the envelope. It contains extremely important documents and my life depends on it. No one has answers what could have happened to my envelope. It has been so exhausting, frustrating and stressful beyond repair.

An employee walked me through sending 2 of the exact same packages to two different addresses and promised they had tracking. Well, 1 got there 3 days later and the other is still lost in transit and they cant help me because the isnt actually any tracking. So now Im out $45 and I have a very angry customer. Ill say that first off, Im a regular here, and I have seen a lot of crap from customers thrown at the employees over time.The complaints from previous reviews about attitudes from employees are not warranted. My experience is that they are friendly, though Ive gotten civil from some, but none of them have been rude. Everyone has a bad day, cut them some slack.Yes, the lines can be long sometimes depending on the hour of day and time of year it is (come on folks...You all know when Christmas is. Dont wait the week before to panic and mail things and then whine about the lines-yes, Ive heard plenty of those too), but that is the nature of many public service buildings in Mill Creek. The town was not built with the intention to handle the population that exists now (Ive lived in the area over 20 years). Yes, things need to change in a number of different places in the city, but its not a fault of the branch.About the complaint on not being provided tape, in addition to hearing verbal snarking on similar topics: Their job is not to supply you with stationery. Have your mail/package ready to go when you get there. Dont bring UPS boxes there for returns, if it came through another carrier, it needs to go back the same way. Bring the proper ID of the person youre picking up mail for, theyre not going to just hand it to anyone (thankfully). These are not difficult concepts...As for closing hours, theyve been fairly generous about hours and do not close 10 minutes before posted hours, like another review said. Check your clocks and get there on time or go the next day.

On three different occasions I have called these people due to issues with a mail collection box at the North creek shopping mall. Each time I get someone that doesnt know anything about problems with the box, which is being vandalized by some idiot pouring water, or possibly pissing, in the box onto outbound mail. This has resulted in an interest charge from my credit card vendor. That box also has high volume, as its a drive up, and I have found it full to the extent no mail could be safely placed in it, stuffed to the brim, on several days, not just at Christmas either. Now that the Safeway store has closed. it will just get worse, I will use a different box for sure, but a simple fix would be move it to a location where theres some public traffic for security.

Seems like everyone is pissed about the service. Wake up and know what your doing when your in line. Buy stamps and mail packages. Dont ask stupid questions.If packages re being lost its as much the counties fault as anyone. You and your s.w. Ave ct. pl. addresses. You try it, bet you pull over in frustration and ask a mail person for directions....

On Saturdy was in line for about 30-45 minutes. I had a paper shipping receipt I had printed out and needed to attach to a package to ship. They would not give any scotch tape to paste it to the package. Unbelievable. The other service I really dislike is they do not sell single stamps, you have to buy an entire stamp book for 8 dollars. Which will probably last for 2 months before the postage rate goes up. Its pathetic really.

To the Post Master:We have not and are still not receiving our packages.The postal carrier IS NOT doing the job.We get notified my the company who sent it that it was delivered. NO! It wasnt. Then in a few days we get a notice from the post office that if our package isnt picked up at the post office itll be returned.PLEASE! TELL THE CARRIER TO DO THE JOB AND DELIVER ALL ITEMS!!!

Wish I could give 0 stars. This post office is AWFUL. I work for a company that regularly sends out time-sensitive, personal & confidential information to individuals. These mailings are rarely delivered in a timely manner and half the time we get calls our office to complain that their information we sent it out 8+ days prior has not been delivered. Sometimes it just never gets delivered at all. ARE THEY JUST THROWING IT IN THE TRASH OR WHAT?!We physically drive our mail to another post office to drop it off because we are so sick of the bad service at this post office.

Terrible service! Trucks come late with different drivers and some days no mail .Had the same mailman for over 30yrs no problems now you just dont know.Drivers seem rushed confused and overwhelmed, sometimes going the wrong way at high speed. Poorly managed, have called many times and they just blow you off and dont understand you when you tell them your concern. I would not want to work for a company like this!

Mailed a check to the City of Mill Creek. Street number was correct, but street address had apparently changed. It is no longer Mill Creek Boulevard, but rather Main Street. Same location, street name changed only. This was returned to me as unable to forward and it took from July 8 posting to July 29 for me to get it back. Whats wrong with you people? This is not the first time Ive had trouble with your lazy, obstinate mail carriers.
