I am beyond satisfied with the service I received today! From the manager opening the door before I could get in to Lonni the service rep who gave me a even better deal then what I was expecting! 5 star service
Preslee was excellent in his knowledge of products and being able to help me and my mother that was with me to see if we could switch out our internet modem due to issues with the equipment. He offered bundles that we could do to help lower our bill or if we would like to add tv to our services. His customer service was good and the atmosphere in the store was welcoming and inviting. This will be the cox store Ill go to for any issues if I need to go to the store.
Preslee was amazing!!! The move put me down my RA was flared. He got me a chair cause my feet hurt so bad. Took his time and showed me how to hook everything up. Very personable and very kind. Cox you guys have a great worker. You rock Preslee!!!! Store very clean. Everyone looked like COVID precautions were taken. Nice store and great workers thanks again Preslee for making my visit to your store a wonderful considering my condition.
Preslee was hilarious! I wanted to discontinue service when my contract ended...he cracked so many jokes to make me stay. When I move to my house next year, Ill deff get Cox again an go see Preslee lol
I give them a one-star because their business ethic is not very well I applied for internet through them and I did it online and they said there was a zero deposit today but when I called the number like they told me to they tried to tell me I owe $50 for a deposit I feel like if your website says that you dont owe a deposit you shouldnt go on there and tell people that owe a deposit I am having my lawyers look at it because I feel like its a scam and theyre just trying to do people wrong and if your credit check dont go through then it shouldnt say you dont owe deposit if it didnt go through I just feel like when it reads due today for total and deposit if it doesnt say shouldnt say zero if theres actually going to be a balance and they dont do a credit check right away James and the other two women were very very rude and I didnt understand one of the ladies who werent even

Manager was trying to make me overpay for internet and was rude throughout the entire conversation. He continued to raise his voice and got into a screaming competition with a 19 year old service member.
I’ve been forced to have cox internet more than once due to the places I’ve moved. I’ve had them for 5 years at the current address and have had a consistent issue with dropped signal during the middle of the day and evening.After moving again after the ice storm I once again was in touch with sales who were happy to get me set up again. I drove an hour to pick up the gateway and to my surprise the entire area is still without service! It’s been over 2 weeks since the ice storm caused this mess and they sell me on a service that Cox has no idea when it will be back on! Shame!Sure I can call in and receive a credit if I need to further waste my time. What really burns me is that it took over an hour with tech support for someone to figure out there’s still a major outage. This was after the guy told me he could see my modem on the network... I walk outside and look up at the pole and see that the line is snapped clean off. No way for anyone to see any device on my network cause I wasn’t on the network. It’s always just lip service to get you calm for a day or two until they can get another under paid 3 party contractor out that’s been on the job less than 3 months, to fix an issue he hasn’t fully diagnosed.If there was another choice, I would take it but the corporate monopoly machine just grows bigger.
I dont even want to give them 1 star. Been with them for 5 years and prices kept going up for basic cable internet and phone. 200.00 a month. Streaming is much better and cheaper.
To say the least, You will not get what you pay for, theyll find a reason to raise the price and still improve absolutely nothing . Constant outages for not reason but anyway Shout out to all the blue collar guys that work there . Because even they are getting effed by them also poor guys. I wish someone would compete with Cox and put them outta business.

I felt like a contaminate in a surgery room as the employees were wearing masks and gloves. The young female employees whose gloves were too large commanded me to stand in a circle so she could assist me. As I was getting nowhere with her the assistant manager took over and moved me to his station and commanded me to stand in another circle. When I lowered my mask to better explain the issue he commanded me to raise it. In the meantime two ladies in scrubs with possibly all kinds of germs on their scrubs and shoes came in but were wearing masks. But Im the 5 year old in the Romper Room.

The worst experience I have ever had with any internet service. I will be canceling and I would advise no one to ever use this service. And the customer service is ridiculous. I talked to 2 different people and they have both tried to convince me of 2 different reasons of why my bill is so high. Never again.

I spoke with an agent about my bill. Initially it was $64 but I got an email about my promotion ending and there being a change in my bill. After speaking with an agent I was told my bill would only go $1 or 2. My bill ended up being $118. Almost DOUBLE. Im canceling my internet tomorrow.

I was cancelling my service today for one address (my partner has service at my new home through cox) I brought in my modem and was informed that I should have left it there for the next customer. ( I was never informed of this beforehand) I asked if I could just leave it there and they refused to accept it saying my apartment complex has a contract and I needed to return it there.I reluctantly try to return it to the apartment complex and they inform me that they have no such contract and I should not leave the modem inside as they have refused the contract on multiple occasions, they do offer to hold onto it in case of a mistake?I call the store and they tell me that NOW they are willing to take the modem in back, I tell them I am not returning to the store. They then threatened me that I would be charged for the equipment if I do not return it.Some things that had been told to me prior1. The equipment belongs to the apartment.2. The equipment is not on my account.I inform her that I paid off my account in full and have a receipt from Cox saying as much with no equipment.She says she is not going to argue with me before promptly ending the conversation.
Oh my word I can not describe the pure bliss and smoothness my visit was. If I could give them a million stars I would. The second I came in I was greeted and directed to my area of concern. JT was so quick to help and made sure everything was sorted out. He was sincere and a pleasure to be around!!! He even offered to find better discounts for my account to save money after everything was completed. IF YALL NEED HELP ASK FOR JT!!!!!! He even walked me out and opened my door for me. Just wow. Cox never fails to impress me. I was literally in and out in under 10 mins. The head of the store even directly made sure I was happy before leaving when JT was opening my door.
My Grandpa is a home bound vet with no service for almost a month now. Hes been told DAILY that your guys would be out and they dont show. Currently looking into other options for him. If this is your best Cox, your best is no good.
Day 15 of no internet, still no resolution information or timeframe from any customer service rep. I have resorted to making hieroglyphics on the wall. you may find this funny but the one star is better than you deserve

The absolute worst choice for internet service. The internet is great when it is available. Id say I hace service with cox for a good 3 months before it goes out and I have to call cox for a tech to fix my line and they typically have me wait 3 to 4 days for a tech to fix the problem. If you have ANY other choice for internet take it dont use cox at all for anything. Sadly cox is the only choice for my area.
Day 14 no internet aervice after 2 weeks of recieving no update on repair for my area this is the only option i have left.
Over two weeks no service. Cox customer service has blamed OG&E, and using OG&Es failure to clear tickets as a excuses to not re-inspect thier equipment.

I never leave reviews, but this was hands down the best customer service i have had in a long time so i have to share. The store was very clean and orderly and my wait was barely 5 minutes. An associate named Destiny greeted me and not only corrected an issue i had with my bill, but upgraded my internet equipment when i mentioned how slow it had been for me. I was in and out within minutes and was very impressed by the genuine kindness and efficiency in this location. I will definitely recommend to family and friends! :)
I had WiFi here for a few short months they claim I didn’t bring my modem in when I did the woman was like mid 20s brown hair she got on the computer checked something in the box and put it in the counter behind her so I figured okay but nope here I am being charged $122 for something I already brought in.

No customer service! Very rude workers. I came by to drop off modem for someone else. Unfortunately I was in a hurry due to family emergency. Representative told me I couldn’t just drop it off and if I left it wouldn’t be credited to any account. Said it could potentially be “lost” and I would be charged for the full price.
Nice but the equipment they gave me to replace the bad equipment was bad too therefore I still had to wait for a technician to come to my home 2 days later. Wasted my time and effort.
I didnt want the 2 in 1 modem/router cause I am a computer technician and aware of the questions to ask to make sure Im getting the best hardware and equipment for the best speed and decided to go with just the modem and get a separate router and they waived the price of the modem for me since I didnt go for the 2 in 1. They stated they would price match as well. So I went out did some shopping found a lower price and they held their word and honored the lower price, for me.
Avoid Rhonda littlejohn. Went to sign up for internet only in our house, she said it would be cheaper to sign up for a bundle. It would be $89.99 for two years. I get it sales people making a sale whatever seemed like a reasonable price. Fast forward two days everything is installed and I look at the bill in our account and it says $157.77 called cox asked what was up. They said this was going to be the monthly payment. Rhonda blatantly lied to me. Promptly canceled service and now I’m back with AT&T

My service has been randomly dropping out for a month now. Two separate outsourced technicians have been here and verified that the problem is on their end but they dont know why its failing. I have been told that I have to live with it until it fais completely. But they insist that I continue to pay the full bill. No one there has authority to do anything else. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN! And I have been a faithfull customer for over 10 years. I guess its time to shop for new service.
Like the kiosk idea, very friendly staff. Looks to get very busy so plan ahead. Also parking near might be an issue....not the stores fault though.
The worst customer service Ive ever had. Cant understand how they will lie to you. About what your getting take your hard earned money. In cash that takes 30 seconds. They make millions a year. But can justify taking 2 to 4 weeks to get me my refund. And then tell me theres nothing else they can do for me!

Absolutely, hands down the worst cable company Ive ever dealt with. They are bold face liars and scam artists. If there is another choice for internet service, I wholeheartedly recommend it. I had a service issue with my internet service and called for assistance. At the time the customer service representative told me that if the issue was found to be inside my house, meaning from cable junction box to the modem, I would be charged a $75 service fee. WARNING: If you are told this I guarantee whether or not the problem is in your house you will be charged. I would strongly suggest that you follow the technician around with a video camera and tape everything that he does because they cannot be trusted. The problem in our case was with the connection at the junction box at the property easement, 50 feet away from the house. The third party technician told my wife that the problem was not in the house but low and behold we were charged. So either the technician, whose name was Scott (we didnt get his last name) lied on his service notes or Cox used this as a scam to get additional money from us for their crappy service. If Cox had any competition in my area I would switch the first day the competition was in business.

For whatever reason. It always seems to be my equip that is causing issues, even though they always suggest what I buy, and every year I have to buy new equip. My internet disconnects when it rains for any length of time but they dont want to take the time to run a new underground line or fix the dist box. Im sure the tube is filling with water or the box is getting shorted when wet.
When you walk into Cox you are always greeted like a valuable couple..very people friendly.👌

I have lost connections 5 times in the last 24 hours while trying to watch games. I’ve carried their service more than 25 years and I guess they are not up-to-date like other networks are. The only thing they can tell me is, “ Sorry, we’re having some trouble”.It’s time to change!!!
First, there is something quite off putting about walking in and being questioned about what you need by four people standing at door -This is worse actually worse than going to look at cars.I’m sure it is what management thinks is neat but I’ve not met any who think this is good.Then and this is not about one store, this is all of cox - their equipment is very poorly made- especially DVRIf the purpose is to record and watch as you have time- don’t waste your money. The box’s go out so often that you will never watch all you have recorded. Once Box goes out all you have recorded is gone .Do NOT rely on the COX DVR is something you have recorded is important!My big beware is with service at home. If you ask for service you need to know COX has contractors doing service . No COX TRUCK or uniformed person- just a guy with some tools and if you don’t watch close they will run wires places you don’t want holes and wires - we learned this the hard way.They did finally send out a real cox service employee to fix mess but the damage to rock exterior and newly painted interior we had to fix. Try to only use the employees for service.
We arrived about 30-40 minutes today before they closed but the lady (a short black middle-aged lady) was super rude and barely said two words to us. Didnt give us any of the necessary info for our purchase or ask us if we needed anything else. After handing us our modem she walked straight to the door without saying anything. If I need anything from this cox solutions store I will specifically ask for someone else to help me. Terrible customer service.

I was a customer for 10+ years and I had to turn off my services because I couldnt afford their prices anymore. Even after 4 months without their services Im still getting charged all kinds of fees. Ive been calling them trying to resolve this issue and it seems like they are completely clueless which baffles me because their name is Cox Communications? This company is not what it use to be and I suggest you save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. If you decide to go with this company make sure you keep every confirmation number, bill and receipt when you start services. Not to mention be sure to watch your bill like a hawk.

Signed up for internet, and purchased a router. Cox did as it seems to do often (went to several review sites from cox users) and added modem rental to my bill when I purchased the modem from them directly. I never signed up for modem rental and yet Cox has fraudulently added it to my bill. I recommend any internet service over Cox based on the fact you have to keep an eye on them so they dont add fraudulent charges to your bill.
