We had two enormous trees that were over 50 years old. One was visually dying and the other was dropping limbs. I hated to see them go, but they started to feel like a liability. One was looming over my house and the other had a large branch looming over my neighbor’s house. Because of this, I was very nervous about the tree removal process. DSI trees showed up ready to work! They arrived when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and accommodating. They were also conscientious of my dog and his safety too (which I appreciated). Jose was so friendly and they did a great job. I can’t stress enough how hard-working Jose and his crew were, especially in this heat. I would definitely use them again.

I absolutely recommend DSI Tree Service. They are consummate professionals from beginning to end. I have a large lot and had some enormous trees at the very back that had reached the end of their life cycle. I had other tree removal companies come out to take a look and they wouldn’t even give me a bid. The job was just too difficult, enormous and dangerous. Jose came out and assured me that he could remove the trees. I could go on and on singing their praises but I’ll just list the highlights. Their bid was reasonable, they were on time, worked hard and were safety conscious. They did everything in their power to mitigate damage to my surrounding landscape and cleaned up everything after the trees were down. There is nothing better than working with pros and DSI is the real deal. I will definitely use them again in the future.

They gave us a quote, did 70% of the work, then asked for a partial payment. They said “we’ll come finish up tomorrow” but we never saw them again. They won’t answer my many calls to come finish the agreed-upon job.Since then a massive limb has fallen in a windstorm very close to our house - we were lucky but it could have been worse!

Paid for tree removal and stump ground 2 months ago. Never ground stump because said gas line was nearby. Never had Blue Stake come out to mark gas line though. Insists they cant grind stump because of gas line, and stated they didnt collect on stump grinding when they deposited my check for everything 2 months ago.

Affordable and professional. I had two large cottonwood limbs (20+ inches diameter) growing over my back deck and house and was worried about potential damage. The crew came out and rigged drop lines and cut the limbs incrementally to safety removed both limbs. I am very satisfied with their service and price is very reasonable. I will use them again.

DSI was by far the lowest bid for tree removal and trimming, and they did a good job and cleaned up well. However, my experience with them was not super positive and I would not use them again. I left a message with a request for an estimate, and Jose showed up unannounced a few days later to give me an estimate. When I called to schedule the tree removal, I asked the office manager if they could provide proof of license and insurance, and she said that wouldnt be a problem and they will bring it with them. When Jose and crew arrived and I asked for the insurance, he got upset and said it would cost him $40 to get it and that it wasnt worth it to him for such a small job and that he was going to leave. Luckily his son was there and was very nice to deal with. He found a blurry picture of their insurance policy (which was expired) and waited while we called and verified their coverage despite Jose wanting to leave. This felt very unprofessional and avoidable with better communication with their office manager and better customer service with the client.

We have two HUGE elm trees which needed a lot of work trimming, lightening the loads, and massive crown cleaning. We were extremely happy with the group of guys that tackled this difficult job! We had five trees on our property that needed to be taken down, one of them was a huge willow tree. Jose’s prices were very competitive, he was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Once we decided that his company was who we were going to work with, they came the very next morning ready to work. Jose and his crew worked very quickly, did a great job cleaning up, and even helped clean up around the willow tree that I had piled up to be thrown away. Worst experience ever do not I repeat do not ever use this company

Had them remove a large cottonwood tree from my backyard. They showed up on time and ready to work. They did a great job removing the tree, that had branches hanging over my house and the neighbors. The clean up was also great. I would happily recommend them to anyone. Their prices were great and their work ethic was great. Glad i had them do the work.

These gentlemen just finished a trimming job for us and were very pleased with the result. Youre very personable, efficient, and took great care with our personal items in the yard. I appreciate it how they cleaned up after themselves thoroughly and their estimate was in our budget as well as the final price was not far from the estimate. Very pleased with these gentlemen and highly recommend them.

Great start cutting down the trees but returning to get roots out took weeks, many calls and in the end didnt take care of verbal commitments and we failed to ensure those were added the bid. Cleanup was not even close to great job promised. They were also pretty careless with stump removal tool and cut up two sprinkler pipes without even a shovel review just went for it when the stump was 4 from 2 large sprinkler valve housings. When it came to pay the owner was uncompromising about stumps not all removed, the mess, and the damage just went to verbiage on contract then threatened legal recourse if not paid in full immediately. Overall just poor on customer service based on overcommitting to get the job.

These guys work hard, and I am happy to pay their reasonable fee for the service. Small family businesses like these provide better service and value than a bigger company with employees that dont care about work quality. They showed up early and stayed late, I plan on using them again.

I had a tree tip in the strong winds yesterday and the only answer i was able to get was with DSI. they came out first thing this morning and got the tree down safely before it damaged anything. i will be using dsi for my other trees

I had a honey locust that had a bore beetle and the roots were growing mushrooms. I found this team on KSL and when I called them for an estimate they shows up later that day. Their prices were excellent and very competitive. Our tree had large branches that hung over our house and when they came, they immediately got to work and professionally cut down the tree with fantastic expertise. They knew what they were doing and how to do the job the right way the first time. When they were all done, they cleaned up our yard and you could hardly tell they were there. Our tree was over 50’ tall and they cut it down, cleaned up our yard, and ground down the stump and all of the main roots in 3 hours. These guys are great and I highly recommend them!

Worst experience we have ever had with a company. We made an appointment with DSI Tree Service and we waited at the house for hours waiting for them to get there and they never showed up. We called them for days trying to get a response and finally got a call back and a sorry excuse for why they didnt show up. We then made a second appointment for 4pm, they showed up at noon when no one was even home. They didnt even do what we asked them to do and said that they refused to come back and finish the job. Then when it came time to pay them, we asked them how much for them to come back and finish the job and the guy cussed us out, hung up the phone, and then texted us threatening us saying that bad things happen to people who do bad things and that karma will get us. We had to file a report with the police because we were so worried the guy was going to come back and do something to us or something to our house. STAY AWAY from this company unless you want bad things to happen to you apparently.
