It was a pretty cool trip to AutoZone....Very friendly and helpful staff, and the one who was helping me looked EXACTLY LIKE Layne Staley (R.I.P.), the former singer of Alice in Chains who died in 2000 ....Like this guy was his total doppelganger.... His long lost twin..... It was kinda spooky....When he talked, even his voice sounded like Layne..... Very strange.....But great AutoZone location. Ive been frequenting that location for 30+ years....

Referred from behind the desk to a slot where the part existed, and when I asked if they might have it in the back the representative (while sitting behind a computer) said “well if it’s not there were probably out”Go to harbor freight and save your time and money.

Husband and I have been going to this AutoZone for years. Today I went in and was greeted by an employee I hadnt seen before. I quickly found what I needed and went to check out. The employee asked if I was paying with cash or card, I told him and he directed me to a counter. Then he asked the same question again, obviously he wasnt listening the first time. He did not ask if I had a rewards number with the store (I do) and when I finished paying he said have a good day, sweety.I dont care what social and gender norms you believe in, just because Im a cute girl does not mean I should be treated with such disrespect. I expect to be treated as an equal as this is NOT the 1800s.

I’ve never left a review for an auto store, but I have to say: Mousad at the Midvale AutoZone is THE GREATEST! I had some battery troubles, and after helping me with three separate trips to AutoZone and buying different parts, he drove to my abandoned car and helped me push start it. He was so kind and helpful. He really went above and beyond to help me out! Mousad is the real MVP.

Charity the cashier, was nice, knowledgeable and helped me find the right lightbulbs for my car. The last cashier sold me the wrong bulbs. I think she could tell I was flustered. She explained to me how to tell the difference too. The type of employee who has your back and can bail you out when you didnt even know it. She should get a raise!

AutoZone has a great warranty and replacement program. A few years ago I bought a new battery for my truck. When I got home and installed the battery, I turned the key and nothing happened. That day, or the next, I returned to the location where I bought the battery and they replaced it, on the spot.

Rick took our phone call and was prompt and immediately started looking my vehicle when I first mentioned what it was. When we got to the store the manager, Matthew Sands was incredibly kind, professional, helpful and informative! Our part was in stock and Matthew helped us get figured out where the part fit exactly and made sure it was installed right! Definitely went above and beyond as I realize thats not part of the job description to do all the extra... he even took the time to explain why he broke the bolt loose then just twisted with his fingers, not the ratchet (its just faster) and demonstrated the difference! Wildly impressed with the store crew! Another employee came over and just looked what was going on (no other customers at that moment) and Matthew took a second to show him what was wrong with our part. At one point Rick stepped in to allow Matthew to come out and help us with the part we bought, even though another employee was already outside with another customer. Great crew! Very efficient and worked well together! I doubt they were friends outside of work so the way they helped each other was beautiful. Made our day!

This is a wonderful place for u to find something useful. Its working schedule makes u feel convenient when u are off work and prepare to fix something. My most recent visit is yesterday, though I often come here. A lady stuff here is very helpful and she helped me find the screw drivers I was looking for in less than a minute.

Bought a battery and was charged 18 dollars and was told if I bring in my old one they would give me back the 18 dollars and when I did that they said they cant find my phone number even though I had my receipt. Told me to go to the other autozone to figure it out.

I found what I needed quickly and they installed it quickly.

I love this AutoZone! Their staff is super knowledgeable and they always have exactly what I need. Theyre open really early and very late which makes it awesome for evening and weekend repairs. I give these guys a 5-star review!

I went back to rerun a part that I purchased last week, that was unopened I just didn’t have my receipt because I lost it, the guy that was helping me had no clue what he was doing until some other guy helped him out, anyways when it was the time for the managers password on the computer, the manager said we can’t help you, the manager was very rude and straight up told me to F... off!!! I’m not sure what his name was but he was just the store manager. I just can’t believe that this kind of service is around, I will never come to autozone again.

This review is about this specific location not all auto zones. I have had one unpleasant experience after another here. This is my last time going in to this location so I thought I’d share my experience because it has certainly been a pattern.I have bought 3 batteries from this place. My car battery they connected it wrong and my car actually caught fire from it (I wrote the company and they did replace it though).My two motorcycle batteries died within a couple weeks of purchase even though I bought the more expensive “gold” version.They’re bad at following up, don’t return calls when they say they’ll call back if you have an issue. And several of their employees are dismissive and aloof (not all, some are very nice but I haven’t found many who come across as competent as product experts or having customer service abilities).They advertise they have tool rentals so I came in just needing some fairly standard tools. They didn’t have it (which is understandable, I can understand only having specialized equipment), the turn off was the exchange with the employees:Me: “Hi, do you have basic tools I can rent so I can remove a few pieces off my motorcycle? Mainly I need Alan wrenches, socket wrenches, things like that”AZ guy: “No we don’t carry those”then he picks up papers and looks down at them.Me: “Oh, okay, would you happen to know of anywhere that might rent those?”Without looking up from his paper, “no”Me: “Well alright then have a good day” and I walked off.Maybe he was having a bad day but it’s really hot and miss at this location.I go to the one on state street in downtown salt lake when I can. They’re sometimes busier but always have been more helpful. They usually correct the issues I encounter when starting at this location.

I had a light come on my dashboard and was already dreading how much I was going to be out in terms of money. Luckily I pulled to the nearest AutoZone and the guy did the computer scan and it turned out to be a very cheap and quick fix. I got the 5 dollar part and was on my way.I am really appreciate of the help they always give and the great advice on different brands and products seems to help every time I need a question answered.

I called to ask about service and the guy hung up on me after I barely finished my first sentence. Called again and he was very gruff. Not sure if he was just having a bad day or didnt like my accent or what, but definitely not a pleasant experience.

I experienced a very sudden decline in my car battery today while running an errand. I headed straight to this AutoZone location & arrived just before closing time. They were absolutely amazing & replaced my car battery in no time, even though the store was closing. The woman & man who helped me were so accommodating! Thank you guys!

AutoZone is great. As a woman I really appreciate how they are so nice and helpful when you need it. It is hard as a woman sometimes to go and get auto parts because some stores are not very friendly to women. AutoZone has always been great. Thanks for making me feel comfortable in the store!

Best customer service! It was raining and I had my big truck and a small kid with me. We needed windshield wipers and I wasnt sure what I needed. They helped me find the right pair for our truck, plus put them on for me! I wish I would have paid closer attention to their name badges. They also we so kind to my little boy! Thanks for the chocolate and the customer service. It meant so much on a rainy day to this mom.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PARTS DEALER IN THE STATE! WE PURCHASE OVER $6K IN PARTS A MONTH. MOST PLACES GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO GET YOUR BUSINESS! THIS PLACE WILL DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO LOSE YOUR BUSINESS. IT TOOK 2 YEARS TO INPUT OUR ACCOUNT (LOST THE PAPERS 18 TIMES) AND WAS ONLY DONE AFTER THEIR DISTRICT MANAGER STOPPED BY ONE OF OUR PLACES. THEN ONE OF THEM DELETED OUR ACCOUNT SO WE CAN NO LONGER BUY FROM THEM TAX EXEMPT. HOWEVER, WE FILLED OUT THE PAPER NOW 4 TIMES AND THEY HAVE YET TO INPUT IT. THEY FINALLY FIXED IT. On 1,20,19 the manger came in and I told him why did not buy a lot from his store. He said he would give us a good discount. Called in today and tried to order parts was told not in system so we could not buy parts. Call Doug he said he would fix the problem and never called back or fix or it, still no account. AVOID AT ALL COST! SERVICE IS THE WORST ANYWHERE!

Good selection on parts! Good prices. Ok service as long as the person your working with is a car guy or girl sucks when you have to go through the list of parts on there computer to find the part I need. Its kinda like helping them help me but its not always like that.

I came in for a tail/blinker bulb. Was kind of annoyed because I had gotten the same package of bulbs from another place for a few bucks cheaper. I bought them anyway and was sitting out in my car about to leave when employee Ty came out and offered to change the bulb himself while on his break, I told him he didnt have to but he insisted and did so very quickly, and even in the pouring rain. Awesome customer service, Ill be back just because of this experience. :) Thanks Ty!

Love this place! I have never been to this store and not gotten the help that I needed. Every kind of car problem that Ive taken to AutoZone has been fixed by an employee. They always seem to know what your issue is and what advice to give you. Their pricing also seems fair.

I dont know every AutoZones different and most of the time if I go in AutoZone I usually try to find a girl that works there.. Ive gone in there a couple of times and have been helped by the guys there and they have given me the incorrect information or not very helpful.. so if its a girl thats working there thats your best bet because they usually are the most knowledgeable and helpful in any of the car troubles Ive had

I just got the Bosch Oxygen Sensor #13461 from Midvale location, they charged me $80 with tax. When I came home checked the price online and couple other stores it was just $44. Im not going go to AutoZone anymore. Very disappointed especially with this time of the year where everyone is struggling with this pandemic. Everyone check price online before buying.

Always a good experience when I buy parts from AutoZone. My last visit I bought some oil, found the same oil cheaper at a competitor and they price matched it. I have found that asking some businesses to price match can make the experience more difficult. But the parts manager, Brandon, was very helpful and made sure I was happy.

They saved me!My car battery finally bit the dust, unfortunately for me it was when I was stopped at an intersection while it was snowing and super cold. I got pushed to safety and as I waited for the tow truck I tried to find an auto shop or mechanic willing to help me with the battery on a Sunday afternoon. Every place said no, they closed or were too busy or couldn’t because VW Beetles are too much work. Finally decided to have my insurance try Auto Zone (didn’t know they could help out with batteries) and they said they’d help me replace it, so I called to double check and spoke to Charity(?) and she said “yep!”The battery itself was a reasonable price and the two employees there today (10/27/19 around 4-5pm) were super nice and didn’t make me feel like I was an inconvenience like most do when it comes to VW Beetles. The dude replaced the battery in less than 5 minutes and SAVED MY SANITY!!!!! He knew a lot about beetles and it was fun to chat with him while he worked. I wish I could tip them or something, they deserve it.I can’t say thanks enough. I’ve always gone to Oreilly but I’m not doing that again. AUTO ZONE IS WHERE ITS AT!!!

After living in the area for ten years, they continue with the worst customer service. Only two people have been consistent with being helpful. The rest are just getting a paycheck. Pathetic!

I loved this place they were very helpful to help me figure out what check engine codes were popping up on my car and told me exactly what I needed to do fix the problem, they were very knowledgeable, very kind and very helpful.

Steven was great. He helped me find exactly what I needed and helped me put on my windshield wipers. Stopped what he was doing to help me as soon as I walked in. Great service!

I have usually had good experiences with AutoZone but this one when I went in with some used oil grabbed some lucas fuel system cleaner that I wanted and went and went to the counter I told them I needed to get rid of some used oil and buy the cleaner so he took the oil and after about 5 minutes another guy guy came up to the counter and asked if Id been help and I said kind of and explained to him what happened and instead of selling me the fuel system cleaner that I wanted he told me that the cleaner that I had was trash and that​ the techron they had on sale was way better and when I told him that I didnt care I wanted the Lucas he just walked away and I was then stuck waiting on the slow guy who took another 5 minutes, it should not have been that hard to get in and out of a store with no customers in it and 4 employees.
