Paul is great with my 4 year old daughter. He is sensitive her tender emotions but still firm to teach her independence and to take constructive criticism with grace. Janet and Stacey are great with the older kids. My 9 year old son loves Stacey and Janet and they are always complementing him on his listening skills and his flexibility!
The tuition is very affordable, especially if you prepay for a session. That is definitely a benefit in this expensive sport. The front office manager was very kind also. I didn’t think the coaching was great - classes were sometimes too big and it seemed only the best kids in the class got much attention from the coaches. If your kid is a natural and doesn’t need much individual help and you are looking to save some money, this may be a good fit for you. If your kid needs some extra explanation and assistance to acquire some of the required skills, you won’t find that here.
My girls love going here, and Paul is amazing with all ages! We have a 3 yr old and 9 yr old, and it has been a great experience! My 9 yr olds confidence levels have grown so much over the past few months of doing gymnastics.
Loved this gym and the coaches, sad they are closed. It will be hard to find another gym like this.
Hunts gym is incredible. Ive been coming for years and I dont plan on stopping. They have classes for all ages even adults. The coaches are all incredible. They always have room for me even when Im the only person in class. They deserve 6 stars.
These coaches are amazing and dedicated to these kids and if they seem mean they are not, they just want the girls and boys to understand that doing gymnastics at these levels takes practice and dedication. Which means it’s not time to play around it’s time to focus and try your hardest to do all of the techniques correctly. Thanks Hunts Gymnastics for all you do for our kids. Thank
I didn’t feel like they paid attention to any of the kids there except for the ones in competitions. I often asked myself what I was paying for. The place was worn down with leaks in the ceiling. The man upfront was very nice, but didn’t have the answers to my questions about my daughter’s “training”. I feel like my daughter didn’t take much from this center, so why they have a high rating is beyond me. Definitely look somewhere else if you want your child(ten) to develop any skills.
Weve loved Hunts, so sad they are closing.
Mr. Paul and his coaches at Hunt’s genuinely deserve a 5 star review. I’m not slapping one up here because I have extra time or any incentive but because I rely heavily on other’s reviews to make decisions personally.I was a competitive gymnast for years and can say Hunts is doing it right. Far better and wholistic training than other gyms in Northern Utah. And for the best price! Even my toddler’s class is engaging and progressive vs basic and monotonous like most gym classes offered at that age. They push athletes to be their best and I couldn’t be happier with our experience with them.Only downside may be limited front desk hours but coaches are always happy to help in a pinch.
Hunts gymnastics, is not your fancy we charge you for how we look gym. This is an instructional place for your children to learn gymnastics the proper way and with knowledgeable trainers. If what you look for is a fancy place for your kid to do some flips, this is not it. This is a gymnastics academy.
The old guy at the office that takes the payment is very rude and have a angry issues. My daughter like the coaches Jessica and Paul.
My kids love this place, its affordable and I feel like they have grown confidently as well as physically!
The best gymnastics academy in salt lake city So far
Knowledgeable, patient and creative instructors! I highly recommend this academy!
All little run down the equipment is a little old and unsturdy so its kind of dangerous but great coaching.
Mean coaches and very run down
