I have rented multiple pieces of equipment from Patriot Rentals over the last few years and each machine has over performed for the job at hand. Whether it is trenching for sprinklers, digging in a trampoline, constructing and transporting 3ft plus size boulders for a multi-level rock wall, Patriot Rentals always has the right machine(s) for the job! . Patriot rentals is very competitive in pricing, easy to contact and is centrally located in the valley for machine pickup and or delivery. All machines are new and in great working order. If you are looking to finish your back yard or just need a piece of equipment to finish a small protect without breaking your back, I would highly recommended calling Drew at Patriot Rentals!

We decided to rent a dump trailer for this location. The prices were affordable and seemed to be a great deal. We rented the dump trailer and were using it into the evening hours when we realized the running lights werent working. We tried contacting multiple phone numbers on the website to be able to come and exchange it so we could complete our project. They closed at 7 pm and we tried multiple times to reach them by phone as well as email before closing. We finally got them to contact us back (after hours) and they refused to make it right. Drew is extremely rude and argumentive. He refused to take any responsibility for the bad service or to make it right. Would not recommend this place, they price is right but the customer service lacks tremendously. So much for supporting a local business.***Update, the above review is not the same experience that we had on Saturday that you (Drew) are referring to. I did not include that experience. All of the information given is true. We rented a dump trailer on September 27th. The running lights did not work as I stated. Multiple phone calls were made the evening of the 27th around 6 pm. And nobody answered our phone calls allowing us time to exchange a fully working trailer. Your compromise as you called it was to give us a free trailer for 2 hours on Saturday morning. Which is hardly enough time to hook up a trailer, load it, and unload it in the 2 hour window we were given. We decided it wasnt worth our time, and frankly not worth your employees time either. Not trying to be slanderous, just stating facts on the first experience we had with patriot rentals. As far as you having employees there after hours? The kind gentleman that was there helping us told us that he is there all of the time, he lives in a trailer on the property. You had multiple employees there that I assure you were not waiting on us. And if I do recall, after the misunderstanding we had on pricing Saturday Oct. 2nd we tried to have a quick and professional conversation with you. You would only respond via text after we asked multiple times if you could just call and have a quick conversation. You responded that you were too busy and that we could call on Monday as it was after hours. I didnt write about our experience today, as frustrating as it was for both you and us, I truly believe it was a misunderstanding on pricing. I dont appreciate you accusing us of being slanderous and making false accusations about our experience on Monday. Therefore, I feel fully justified in writing about the experience we had on Monday September 27th. ***

Reserved equipment 2 weeks in advance for a project— I arrived to pick up machine today at 9:00am and it was not available. Drove 2 hours out of my way with a trailer to load equipment. When I arrived I was told to return in an hour the machine will be there... 10:00 came back and then was told that it’s not available at all today. My option was to pay for an drop off delivery fee for the next day after I had already personally traveled to pick up the machine. Total scam. Waste of time. Utter incompetence from all involved, took an hour and a half to communicate that they didn’t have the machine I had reserved. Be warned.

Great customer service and easy process. I rented a little stand behind bobcat skidsteer and dump trailer to do a small shed pad in my backyard. There was a few hiccups the morning getting my equipment and it wasn’t until 11am instead of 8am, it’s okay that’s just how things go. Patriot brought it to my house and let me return it a day later so I could get my job done. They’re good people and take care of their customers even the homeowners that rent infrequently.

Highly recommend. The equipment is in excellent shape, very new and well maintained. The guys there are very friendly and seem to be way more helpful than other rental companies. Very good place to rent from and they have more new items every week it’s nice to have a good local company to work with

These guys are life savers!I’ll text drew at like 10 o’clock at night and be like “ hey any chance i can grab this machine tomorrow morning” and he is always on it.They never let me down there guys are there in the morning ready to help you load up and go get it done.Support local!! They are the bomb.

Drew provided the worst customer service. Very argumentive about the rate we were to receive and was quoted. We’ve used patriot rentals on numerous occasions. These last few times were far from a great experience. They forget to put chains on the machines when driving which becomes a liability. Their dump trailers always have issues with the hydraulics. And when you do call in with an issue, people like drew or Tyler make you feel like YOU are the issue! Not helpful at all. I will take this to BBB. If i could give zero stars I would!

This is the second time I have rented equipment from Patriot Rentals. They were quick to reply to my phone calls and texts every time. They provided the exact machine that I needed. They were a bit late with the delivery but they kept me informed on the status the whole time. I definitely would use this company again !

Worst experience possible. Poor communication and customer service. Machine broke down an they tried blaming me until I matching the video from when I rented it. Wasted gas and time and they never made it right. Always had an excuse from short on help to short on drivers. The Clinton location is a joke with a goat tied up to a tree at the entrance. Will definitely never use this place again.

Horrible equipment that doesn’t work. I rented a dump truck that wouldn’t dump due to a dead battery and all they could do was give me a discount on my next rental… why would I want to rent equipment that doesn’t work. They rented me something that wasn’t properly prepped to be rented. Wasted my time and my money. I could have used my own flat bed.

Its hard to give a place four stars. I hold this honor very highly and dont take four stars lightly. they do have very good customer service, and are very good at getting back to you with any concerns you have. They are reasonably priced and offer a good variety for small backyard jobs. Our only complaint was that the dump bed didnt work on the dump trailer that we got. We wasted about 6 hours that day after we had loaded it and got to the dump and figured out that it didnt work. We werent overloaded and were well below the weight limit required to lift the bed. It was very frustrating to remove all the contents by hand especially when we went unprepared to remove it by hand. We werent reimbursed for this time that we spent trying to fix a problem that existed before we got it.

The staff is help full. They have the equipment you need as long as you call ahead of time. Just keep in mind on weekends they close early.

We tried renting a trencher through KSL classifieds. Nowhere on me KSL ad did it indicate it was with Patriot rentals. I texted the individual (Nicholas/Niko, although I didnt know that at the time) and asked for availability and they said yes. I then asked for more information and they didnt answer me. After 2 days of texting I got a text from Jimmy about the trencher.Jimmy was great. He responded to all my questions and when I indicated that I was interested in renting the trencher, he told me that Natasha would call me to set it up. I asked for assurances it would be held if Natasha never called. He said yes.I waited and never got a call. I texted the original number and Jimmy asking for the call with no response.I texted Jimmy the morning of the rental asking for it and he replied shortly and said hed see if it was available. I got a call 45 minutes later. The trencher was gone. The best solution was renting another date.Jimmy was great to work with. If we only had to deal with him we would give a great review.

In the process of doing a yard renovation I have had the pleasure of renting several pieces of equipment that have all been a god send on my bad back. Every experience I’ve had with Drew and his crew has been pleasant and professional. They have bent over backwards to help me get the equipment I need and when the projects have ended up growing or taking longer than expected (tends to happen a lot with me😉) the Patriot Rental team has been able to accommodate the change without any issues.The one and only time I had an issue with a machine they had a replacement delivered to the job in the time it took to eat lunch. Like I said in the first sentence it has been a pleasure renting from Patriot Rentals and I look forward to using them on the next project.

I had a great experience with Patriot Rentals. I rented a track skid steer from them to clear a 1/2 acre lot, which included a lots of uneven ground and multiple tree stumps. This was my first time renting a skid steer, and second time operating one. Here was my experience:- No pressure sale:When I called to inquire, the guy (I think it was Drew) was easy to talk to. We discussed the job, made sure I was getting the right equipment, and how Id get the equipment there. Then I said Id think about it and call him back. -no pressure- Later on I did. The price was right, but for me interaction sealed the deal.- Equipment delivery and inspection:The delivery guy went over how to operate the machine and had me demonstrate to make sure. He was great about letting me know what issues people have with tracks and how to avoid those issues. He also did a live video inspection of the machine with me there, pointing out all scratches and whatnot. You know, kind of like how you wish rental car companies did. Its for their benefit and mine. I like that there was no ambiguity.- Machine useNo issues, no complaints. Plenty of power. It took a minute to get into the groove, but before long I was driving it without thinking about the controls, like I do my car. I should point out I watched a few YouTube videos to get other pointers. Im sure that helped.- Machine pickupThe pickup guy (different guy) was pretty chill. When he showed up I was driving over to pick up a last piece of concrete that had been hiding. He helped me get it in the bucket and I took it to my rubble pile. Then we looked over the machine and he took it away. No issues. I got a receipt via email later that day. Ill call them again when I do my final grade after building.

How do you recover a 1 ton truck with a cooked transmission from Moab and get it back to Salt Lake? I’ve rented equipment from this company twice and both have been great experience. Upfront pricing not hidden cost. This particular time I needed to hold the equipment I rented an extra day and they were understanding of my issue and helped out. If you need to rent equipment for doing some landscaping I highly recommend calling Patriot Rentals, they got your back!

We had some work to do after a concrete wall was poured so I rented a skid steer and dump trailer from Patriot Rentals. I originally planned on renting a ton truck from enterprise but none was available. I had already reserved a skid steer so I called them back and they told me that they could drop it off and pick it up. I had a half ton so this worked out perfectly. The trailer and bobcat worked flawlessly. They were also better priced then their competitors. I will rent from them again.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE GUYS!I rented a trencher from them for a day. Everything was great at first, until the machine broke half way through the day. A bolt for driving the machine forwards and backwards broke. They worked to get someone out to assess it that day and repaired it the following morning. I want to make it clear that there was no abuse to the machine and it was used as directed. All was well until after I returned the machine and got their final invoice by email. Without telling me they charged me $102 on top of the rental fee for the repairs. They also had my credit card on file so they decided to go ahead and charge that without even speaking to me first. I called them to address this and they tried to pin it on me by saying that I drove the machine too fast (which I didn’t, I even let them know that I used it at a slower speed). Then they let me know that they incorrectly over charged me $60 and said they’ll refund it back. I then messaged them stating that all of it needs to be refunded as it broke due to normal use and is their responsibility to repair it. (Also they don’t know if the person before me abused the machine and now they want me to pay for it). I reached back to them and they decided not to respond.Bottom line, it seems like they don’t take care of their machines and if it breaks while you’re using it they’ll make you pay for it and possibly over charge you unless you follow up with them. And once they have your credit card they can charge you what ever they want and not have to answer after they have your money. Also on a side note they gave me the machine with hardly any oil in it, which I had to go and buy a quart of oil myself and fill it up, which shows they don’t seem to really take care of their machines and you’ll find yourself paying for their repairs. They seem to get five stars from people when the machines are new and work just fine (which I believe would have been my case if it had not broken down), but be careful because when the machines start to get older and you’re the unlucky person that the machine breaks down on you, they seem to try to turn it around and make it your fault and charge you for it.

This is a company that has no remorse for their mistakes!!! I rented a machine and the thing didn’t work since we received it!!! It wasn’t delivered on time so I missed deadlines and cost me a lot more money and set my project behind days. I tried to be fair and offer to pay half of everything I used and get credited for the rest and they refunded me not even 25%!!! They also charged my card for the full amount with out going over anything with me!!! I would not use these guys for any rental needs they are the worst and I would never ever use them or refer them for anything!!! Drew definitely is shady and he thinks he is helping people but he is not.

We rented a skid steer to level out a portion of our backyard, and are very impressed with the whole experience. The drop-off was on time, the equipment worked perfectly, and the tech who dropped it off and picked it up was very kind. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish, their pricing is better than the big names, and the delivery and pickup option made things so much easier. Best costumer service... I had to change my dates a couple times due to covid and even though they were last min they were very kind and helpful. Beautiful brand new equipment! I rented a dump trailer, it was $50 cheaper than anywhere else I could find on google. The customer service was outstanding and they were very flexible with pick up and drop off. the trailer was brand new and worked like a dream.

I found their ad on KSL advertising a dump trailer mini ex combo for $250.00 a day. It wasnt until after I called I found out it was $250 for the machine and another $80 for the trailer, I still paid the extra $80... plus tax, but that is bad advertisment in my opinion. I was told I was responsible for everything including tires after I leave their yard, one of the tires had tread that was less than a penny thick, and the spare was just as bad, I took pictures of it. Upon dropping it back off the next day they walked around the trailer, checked the tires, and said I was good to go. 20 minutes later I got a call from them saying I owe them another $40 for a nail they found in a tire and they were sorry they didnt see it when I was there dropping it off. In the end I am just frustrated that I bid a job off of an advertisement that said $250 per day and now will end up paying $395. I wont be using them again

We found their posting on KSL and began inquiring about 3 weeks prior to our rental uncertain when the snow melt would allow the excavations. Delivery and pick up was timely, management professional, cost reasonable, equipment exceptional. We will use again and recomend to others.

I had trouble renting from other companies cause they chart an arm and a leg. my friend BEN told me about patriot rentals. Love how they made me feel welcome and renting from them was so easy. Thank you patriot rentals.

Very dishonest. I found an ad of theirs on Facebook, advertising a mini bobcat for $130 for 6 hours. I requested this for a Saturday, and told them I would come pick it up. They then called to tell me they were out of trailers, and would have to deliver it, for $100 delivery fee. I had to agree to it, as I had no other options to get the job done. After the picked it up, I was billed for a full day rental at $180. When I complained to Drew, he told me that was their fee on the weekends. He never communicated that to me before just billing me for it. He will argue that he did, but he DID NOT. Neither did his employee that made me sign for delivery when they dropped it off. They do not tell you these things, but will claim they do in their response to negative feedback. I asked him multiple times to refund me the difference, and they refused. Shady. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Drew is dishonest.

I spoke with Daniel last night at 5:00 P.M.we reserved a Mini skid track, made a deposit for $75.00. I explained to Daniel we specifically needed to a mini skid track because ours broke. He said he would have the machine ready at there Midvale location. I sent my employee to Midvale to get the equipment, upon arriving the machine was dead so they made my employee wait around to jump start the equipment. They then told us we could not take the machine and that it was reserved to someone else. Do not do business with patriot rentals unless you plan on wasting employee hours and drive time. Patriot rentals had a machine available but claimed another customers bookings were more of a priority despite the deposit we had already made for theMachine. I’m very disappointed with their customer service

I found Patriot Rentals on Facebook and stopped because their prices were the best I could find. I spoke with their representative, Niko, and he was extremely friendly and helpful. Im a novice, to say the least, at operating construction equipment, but he put me at ease right away. On top of that, they were willing to deliver and pickup the MiniEx that I needed, saving me the trouble of locating a truck large enough to tow it to my project. When the MiniEx was delivered it was nearly brand new and clean. It fired right up and I was able to finish my project in under 6 hours. The Bobcat MiniEx had all the power I needed and worked flawlessly. I want to say thanks to Niko, Drew and Patriot Rentals for their help and professionalism. I would gladly recommend Patriot Rentals to anyone who needs good reliable equipment for their project. Patriot Rentals services all of Utah County.

It’s easy run a company when everything goes well. What really tells how good a company is when there are hiccups. When I first went to pick up my rental trailer it had a flat on one of the four tires. I declined to take the trailer that day and rescheduled for another day. When I came back everything was ready for me. We hooked up the trailer and then they noticed the tire repair shop had mounted the rim wrong side out! The guys at Patriot put a new spare on. Checked all tires for pressure and lug nuts for proper torque. They even checked my truck tires and included a trailer spare just in case. Chains and binders were also included. On my 400+ mile trip from SLC to Flaming Gorge and then to Herriman there was not a single problem. Brakes, lights, and trailer towing were all perfect! No worries at all. I will be coming back to Patriot again and again. Check these guys out if you want to rent from a real company.
