I’ve been with many dentist in my lifetime and this office is at the top. My son needed appointment as soon as possible so when I called today they were very good about fitting him in their schedule today. We get there he filled out the paperwork and with no wait he was already getting all the attention he needed. I can’t say enough great things about the customer service as they all were outstanding. I Love this office! Everyone is so friendly and wants the best for you. I had a crown placed, but there was no pressure to schedule it. I was able to do it when I had had enough... stubborn person that I can be. They did such a nice job. We have been with this office since he opened, even though they are across town from our residence. Our children (who are now adults) continue to see Dr McNeil. Great staff, awesome Dr!

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to! They are always so friendly and are so great at scheduling payment plans. After getting some cavities filled I asked if I could get some bleach trays and instead of having me come back for an appoint they were able to do the molds right after my appointment! We love midvale family dental! All of the staff are friendly, helpful and very considerate of your needs. We have a large family. They are great with all of our kids. They are gentle and thorough with cleaning. They are considerate and accurate with time. They are the best! The receptionist is helpful. She always breaks down the costs and explains the details of the exams. This is helpful and I appreciate her knowledge in helping me understand the costs every time we go in(she is so patient in explaining and answering my questions)Dr. McNeil called in the evening to follow up after my kids had a lot of work done even after hours. We appreciate their genuine care for their patience.Unfortunately, some of my younger kids needed a lot of work done and they were recommended to have anesthesia. We choose that option. They arranged for a great pediatric anesthesiologist. The whole team is awesome! I can’t say enough good things about this office. I want to start by saying that the Dentist gave me the best cleaning I’ve ever had! The dental assistant was friendly, building was very clean but....the front desk receptionist was disrespectful, insulting and I feel as if she stereotyped me. I’m an African American woman, wearing a bright pink hoodie hair wrapped up half sleep. My paperwork that I filled out was a mess due to arthritis in my right hand. That bothered her, when I was done she asked me if I wanted her to go over my co pay and price’s ( As if she was giving me a heads up just in case I couldn’t afford the fees) I said sure, she then printed the paper and asked to look over it with me. I’m not uneducated I can read! I have a career and can pay in cash all fees without insurance. She also asked if I needed her to give me notes on what she said even though I was given the price breakdown. This is absolutely unexceptionable! I feel as if I was racially profiled and will not return...oh this was after my daughter and I waited for almost an hour to be seen while kids were running back and forth un-masked.

Dr. McNeil is the best dentist we have ever had! His staff is amazing and every time I have needed a little extra attention or quick help he has been there. They bend over backwards to accommodate us and he is always so patient and professional. I am grateful that our paths crossed and I have been able to be his patient for so many years. My experience at Midvale family dental was wonderful, Can’t believe I’m saying that about a visit to the dentist. Had a root canal and did not have to have any pain meds after the procedure Not even a Tylenol. That tells me that the procedure was done to precise perfection. The computerized equipment used was up to date which allowed the root canal to go as planned by the Doctor, And you would think because of the latest Computerized equipment that the price would be more but it was much less than others that I had been quoted. Thank you Dr. McNeil I will definitely recommend you to my family and friends.

I was in town on business from CA, and my molars were killing me, and a friend of mine who is your customer called you to see if you could see me in such a short notice same day, and you did. You took X-rays, and reviewed it w me and created a correction plan. Amazing service! And the doctor was very thorough. I initially started going to Midvale family dental for a gums surgical procedure that no one else was doing in the state, and they did such a good job with that that I started going to them for everything. They are a fantastic crew and I highly recommend them.

I haven’t been to the dentist in over three years because of sincere dental fear, anxiety, and bad previous dental experiences. I called 10 different offices before I called this office, and was immediately comforted by the receptionist Lissa, who assured me that they took dental fear very seriously and had many options available for sedation and patient comfort. I booked an appointment.Today, I went in with high nerves and was really put at ease (as much as I could be) by the kindness of the staff. The hygienist was VERY intelligent, and I could tell that she really loved what she did and prided herself on her work (as she should) . She was able to get off years of discolored buildup from my teeth with ease, and even with my periodontal issues was kind, informative, and never made me feel anxious. She really knows what she’s doing. Any time she could tell I was in any discomfort with the intense cleaning, she stopped immediately and applied more numbing gel without me having to ask for it at all. I was surprised how quickly she was able to clean off years of buildup so effortlessly.The dentist was professional, kind, and very well versed in his profession. He didn’t push me to get my work that needs to be done immediately, and told me that we can reassess them at the next checkup and go from there. I had overthought many issues with my teeth that were not actually issues at all, but he was not judgmental and told me I was doing better than I thought. He offered me a mouthwash rinse afterward and prepared me a little cup and paper towel by the sink himself. He didn’t seem like he was trying to rush through the appointment at all, but was still very quick and seamless.The dental television that displays the radiographs and pricing was all set up so it can be seen by the dentist and the patient simultaneously, but they were more than willing to turn it away from me if I was too anxious to look.Exceptional experience, no wonder the appointments with that particular hygienist are seemingly booked months in advance, yet they were willing to see me on short notice.

Everyone at Midvale Family Dental is extremely knowledgeable and kind. They are professional, welcoming, and helpful. Every person in the office took time to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. They also took tons of time out of their day to explain everything in detail and answer all of my questions. I’ve needed grafting done for a while and have been afraid to get it done. After my first meeting with Dr. McNeil I learned about the (nearly painless) pinhole procedure, which he is an expert at. He was the first doctor trained to use this method in Utah and has done hundreds flawlessly. He also explained to me a few different ways we could watch my gums for a little to see if they will come back on their own. Midvale Family Dental is a great place.

Dragging your kids to the dentist can be tricky, but not so much when Dr. McNeil takes time to make the kid comfortable, explains everything he is going to do with lots of reassurance, and then of course turns on a favorite movie overhead. :) Can’t ask for more than that!Lyssa up front and the rest of the staff are flexible, kind, and quick to help with scheduling and questions.My daughter needed five teeth pulled in a single day! Dr. McNeil took great care of her and even rolled her out to the car in a wheelchair just to assuage her need for attention. I was so thankful for the way he handled the situation and she is doing well.

I’ve been going to Dr McNeil for 2 years now. It started when I was visiting my daughter in Utah (I live in Montana) and got a tooth ache. I looked for some one close Incase I had to walk. Reviews seemed good. They got me in right away. Ended up I needed a crown on that tooth. They did all the work in office and got it all done before I finished my trip. I asked about implants (needing one for a broken molar) and to my surprise they said they did them. I came back down to Utah went through the process and I’m very happy with the new tooth. Can’t even tell it’s an implant. My adult daughter went in to have reconstructive work on her front teeth that were showing wear from having a quick fix done to them when they were broken in half at 15. She sent me a picture in her car after with such a great big smile. They looked great !! Like nothing ever happened. Dentists in Montana are extremely expensive. I was happy to find fair and reasonable prices at this office. Everyone in the office are always happy and friendly. I would refer all of my family and friends to Dr McNeil and his staff!!

Who Knew!!?PINHOLE GUM REJUNIVATION no more PAINFUL surgical removal of the skin on the roof of your mouth& weeks of stitches & healing.Cosmetic gum issues & tooth sensitivity Is no longer a painful drawn out procedure!Dr. McNeil has taken care of our family for years andit just gets better!!!In just a few hours, one morning, I had my upper gums Rejunivated! Dr. McNeil offered me a little happy gas(I have never had that) and the head phones with mymusic of choice.Just amazing how he skillfully managed to pull my a own gums back down, where it used to be, and no stitches. Really!!!I honestly did not have any pain. You do need to be careful and follow his after care instructions.This procedure was done a few weeks ago and I keep looking to see if they are staying down. HahaThank you Dr. McNeil!!!You are the BEST!

I have no concern about our dental treatment because he is so thorough. This time, we discovered one of my kids actually had an extra tooth and he helps me know exactly what to do to handle this (humorous) situation :)

With my most recent experience I had to come in because my toddler rammed his head into my tooth.. which over the period of a couple days caused an immense amount of pain whenever air or anything cold hit that tooth. I called the dentist and they were able to squeeze me in pretty immediately and was able to fix my pain issues by desensitizing an exposed root. The staff here are always so friendly and Dr Ryan McNeil was very efficient with this visit. I was SO relieved knowing I have a dentist I can trust. Thank you for fixing my pain!!!

Im very fortunate to have researched the Pinhole Surgery Technique and more importantly to have found Dr. Ryan S. McNeil to perform this technique on myself. Even before the surgery, he took ample time to answer all my questions and concerns. Additionally his entire staff was more than friendly, very professional and willing to answer all my questions.The surgery technique itself went smoothly. Dr. McNeil was constantly making sure my gums were pain free as he performed the Pinhole technique. I hardly felt any pain (if at all) post surgery and only needed a little ibuprofen for a day or two. I attribute this to the skillful hands of Dr. McNeil. I would highly recommend Dr. McNeil to anyone looking into the Pinhole Surgery Technique to alleviate their receding gums dilemma.

My family and I have been going to Dr. McNeil for over ten years. I always enjoy going to the Dentist! It doesnt matter which staff members are there when I go, they are always happy and friendly. Dr McNeil is very good at communicating with his patients and he is great with kids of all ages! I found Dr. McNeil three days after I had taken my six year old to a new dentist who had put a silver cap on one of her teeth. The cap looked way too big for her mouth to begin with and it had fallen off. I didnt want to go back to that dentist. I walked into Midvale Family Dental and asked if I could meet the dentist. He took the time to talk to me and I decided to let him examine my six year old. He talked to me about different options for fixing her tooth. I am very grateful for the communication that he gave me that day it was a totally different dentist experience than I was used to. I would highly recommend Midvale Family Dental!

This place is wonderful, they are great with my whole family and the biggest baby of all me who is terrified of the dentist. They always put me an ease and are patient with my claustrophobia. Can’t praise them enough.

I cant say enough INCREDIBLE WONDERFUL THINGS about this office. We live town in CA and our friend (who we call our adopted daughter), was on her way to Idaho to go to school and while she was in Utah, her front tooth filling fell out causing pain. We didnt know where to send her to and I called a few places and then called Midvale Family Dental and talked with Tiffany. I talked with Tiffany a few times asking every question possible about cost etc. Then I gave the number to our daughter and she called. Dr. Ryan McNeil stayed late and got her right in and gave her a wonderful discount and took care of her right away. Dr. Ryan McNeil was the Dentist who cared for her and he was amazing according to our daughter. The Dr. even spoke with me after letting me know everything turned out great. He was wonderful and his staff was wonderful and we all felt like they cared about us as individuals and not numbers. Thank you to Tiffany for first taking all our calls. Thank you to the staff for all your kindness. And ESPECIALLY thank you to Dr. Ryan McNeil for staying late, taking your time, making our daughter feel comfortable, caring for her when we couldnt be there, giving her a discount, and talking with us after.
