I had 5 star kitchen and bath come remodel my bathroom. They did such a great job. Ricky and Caleb were great at making sure I was happy and that everything was perfect for me. I also had a sliding glass door put in. My old one had fallen apart before my scheduled install date. I called them and they found a way to get it put in early. Im very happy with everything they did and I would use them again.

In no way, shape or form did we receive anything close to or resembling 5 Star service in way of treatment, quality, professionalism, timeliness etc.
I have had a very good experience working with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. Their staff has been very courteous and professional. I’m pleased that they do all the work within the company. Their products are attractive and high quality. Thanks for a good experience!
All I can say is WOW!! They did an awesome job. It took us two years to find someone to reface our fireplace. It was exhausting. But we stumbled on 5star kitchen and bath. They had someone come out right away to give us and estimate and the follow up and communication with was amazing. The date of our install was on time and the guys showed up on the dot. Our fireplace came out soooo beautiful and we are sooooo very happy and thankful to them for doing such a great job!! We would definitely use them again for future projects. Definitely recommend them! Thanks soooo much! We love our new fireplace facing!
Ricky and Ryan showed up early and got to work. The tear out and install was done neatly and carefully. Thank you 5 Star for a beautiful redo to my bath! Your crew was polite and professional, answering all my questions and listening to my input. They swept up before they left, and they were kind to my old dog. thanks!!!
Brandon Seneshale and Hayden Knight worked overtime to complete our shower project in two days. They were respectful and informative. The shower looks great and they did a great job cleaning up. Anahi our sales person was extremely patient with our changes and made every effort to please.
Kim Call did a fabulous job during the planning phase of our kitchen remodel project. He was always on time, easy to work with and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the design phase. The customer service staff was very friendly and helpful when setting up appointments and returning calls. Very good experience in the planning phase.
Please read all negative reviews before considering this company. They do have a lot of positive reviews but if you notice the majority of them are before the work was complete. Almost as if the customers are promised a discount if they leave a good review. No reputable company has to ask for reviews their work should speak for itself. That being said BEWARE of this Company. To say they are 5 star is an understatement. They had my 78 year old mother in tears after arguing with the owner Walter and my 80-year-old father enraged at the lack of respect from the entire sales team including Zach Donny. It has been a constant battle with this company and trying to make things right. From a high end toilet that doesn’t flush, to flimsy poor quality shower doors all the way down to shelves that are not included in the shower enclosures and that’s extra? But when my parents originally signed up it was included? They finally made things right by allowing us to pick out quality shower doors and a toilet that actually works from Home Depot that they agreed to purchase and install which was substantially lower in cost than what my parents paid for, with no refund. This company has memory loss and will nickel and dime you to death for everything. My parents paid over 17,000 for a bathroom remodel and were told that was a low-end package from the owner. Please beware of this company and their false reviews from customers who haven’t had the full experience of this awful company and are doing reviews based on the initial meeting with the sales team. Walter, Donny and Zack some words of advice.. Customer service is key to being successful in business you could learn a lot from your installers on how to treat customers, since they are the ones doing the work for the customer and interacting with them while you sit behind your desks being disrespectful and rude.
Ricky, Ryan, Trapper, and Brandon did a great job installing our new shower. We live in an old home and the shower had previously been re-done, but the tiling job wasnt good quality so we had problems with water leaking through to the walls and floor. 5-star did a great job replacing all the parts that had damage, and they did a superb job installing the shower and making sure that it was completely sealed. Were confident that this time our shower will last forever. They did all of this in just one day. Thanks guys!
We had two companies come out to give us a quote on our bathroom remodel. 5 Star Kitchen and Bath was $7,000 cheaper than Re-Bath. Anahi came to our house twice to help step us through the whole process and was very patient with our indecisiveness. Anahis rendering of what the project will look like was also very impressive. Were still on the fence about whether well go with them or not, just because no matter how you look at it, its a lot of money, so were going to weigh all of our options first, but were confident that they will take good care of us if we go with them. Anahi was amazing though. Our house was a little messy when she arrived and she literally started sweeping our kitchen to help us get things tidied up. It was great customer service. She was very friendly and explained all of our options.
Anahi is great at what she does and was super helpful in the process of starting the remodeling of our kitchen. Great customer service
Anahi was very helpful and kind.I chose this company because of their prestige and quality.
BUYER BEWARE: A lot of ratings here are from when people get their quote. They cant ask for 5 stars for a discount, its illegal and can get them flagged by google. So what they do is have the sales people ask for a review then and there and make sure its a great experience, ours went as far as to say they hope it was a 5 star experience. They will want to see the review (further pressure to give 5 stars). Read the reviews before scrollingTLDR: They took a long time, they had to redo a ton of their work, we went without a tub for over a week straight (well over that over the span of the project), they dont communicate well, need to be baby sat in order to get a good final product (IMO). We got $500 (3.1%) off for the hassle however I saw a review someone got 15% off.I will preface my experience that this is from memory and maybe off a little bit, being this spanned a few months. I have some reference to go off of.What I know for sure are these dates: Work was supposed to start Nov 9 2020 and end Nov 16 2020, and it actually ended Saturday Feb 13th 2021 after several attempted repairs of their own work.I only put drywall pictures, because my wife has the other pictures. It starts out with us meeting Kim. Weve had a lot of bad experiences with contractors. We havent put reviews in with them because it wasnt worth our time. Kim assured us 5 star is different and to look at their reviews. He quoted the work we wanted and we signed up, he gave us a discount for leaving a review based on the visit at that time. I believe it was somewhere in the range of $100 to $500.My wife gave 5 star the work she did on getting a permit through our local city, and passed that work to 5 star.Come day of work they rip out or old tub, plumb in the new fixture hardware. The next day they start work on taking a wall out in our kitchen and other stuff in the bathroom. We were informed on Day 3 of work they havent gotten a permit yet.come day 4 Thursday, they let us know they talked to someone from the city by happenstance and that we need to fill out some form and have it notarized. As to not hold anything up, my wife and I left work (we were fortunate to have great bosses) to get the form notarized and off to 5 star.Tuesday they send someone out (after not seeing them that friday or monday and call to find out whats going on)They put the tub in, with the shower head, faucet, and spout very off center. We get told that the dat of inspection is going to be the 25th on nov 20th.(spoiler it doesnt happen)They come out to do drywall work to get work done out here but its done by the guy who does their plumbing and the results are attached below. I took him 3 days to do the work.During that time their project head came out to say they didnt have the permit yet.During that time we showed him the dry wall and he said hed put his best on fixing it.they ended up taking 4 days to do it properly. We still have marks but we didnt notice until we painted later.Come dec 10 we finally get news the permit is issued. Its within the window the city gave for how long they take once accepted so the blame lies with 5 star for not getting it in a timely manor or for checking in to see if there was anything to be aware of because of covid. This was in november, by this point cities had their processes laid out.on dec 14th they started work on the shower for the second timethey also got started on ceiling in our garage to be part of the house a few days later.continued work the following week and finished work on the tub. but forgot the shower bar.we then went 5 days without any work or word on what was going onhe then had people come out to do the garage workin january they had to replace a panel in the tub after we pointed out the bad caulking they did. They dinged our new tub so bad they had to hire someone to come fix it.after passing inspection we still had sub par caulking and after pointing it out and the horrible experience they gave us, their answer was to discount $500 from our $14,000 job.
We are having a builder-grade fiberglass tub removed and replaced with a shower.Kim with 5 Star K&B was the 3rd vendor who visited us. He called prior to arrival and was very personable. I explained what we were looking for and after taking some measurements, we reviewed our options. We settled on a laser-etched (simulating a tiled appearance) acrylic product for its clean lines and low-maintenance properties. We also selected a solid surface base and frameless sliding doors. There were several color and design options to choose from.Kim was flexible and worked a nice deal for us to pay a deposit with the remainder paid at project completion. The customer service was low pressure and friendly.I plan to follow up on this review when the project is complete. Were about 10 weeks out and he says the it will take 1-2 days to complete once started.
Working With Mr. David Adamson on our master bathroom remodel was a great experience. He walked us through several design ideas and made sure we understood all of the product options available before we started. He has great product knowledge and is very easy to talk to and work with. Communication was always prompt and appointments were always kept. I would recommend David to anyone considering a potential remodel. My wife and I are completely satisfied and know who to call for future projects.
They’ve been super professional and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend!
We did a complete remodel of our bathroom/closet. The sales rep, Jacee, was very professional and friendly. There was never any pressure to sign or commit. Our tech, Rickey, was great to work with and all the team members he would bring out. They always showed when they said. I have a few things that needed to be re-done and he did without question. I highly recommend 5 Star! Shout out to all we dealt with!
Had 5 Star do tile in our kitchen a couple of years ago and decided to call them to do a shower install in our basement because we had a positive experience. This time around there were some communication issues with shipping delays and purchased products. The shower itself looks good and so far is holding up well. It would have been helpful if they had sent someone out prior to install to ensure the area was ready for the install. The day of the installers said they couldnt move forward because of an electrical issue and that they wouldnt be able to get back to install until weeks later if the issue wasnt fixed that day. (I scheduled this install in February and was not able to get anyone out until April 15th.) I ended up feeling obligated to have their electrician fix the issue so the job was not delayed any longer. The additional expense would have been easier to stomach had the issue been identified prior to the day of the installation. They were professional throughout but I wish I would have received a little better communication and planning along the way.
5 Star Kitchen and Bath has just completed a full remodel of 1 master bath and 2 full baths in my home. My review is primarily based on the end result, and I have to say my new bathrooms are FANTASTIC! It was a huge job, as all bathrooms were completely demolished and then rebuilt from the floor up to the ceilings in solid tile.I was lucky to have two main installers assigned to my home for the duration of the job: Froilan and Devon. Their work is truly amazing. They consulted us continuously during the job to make sure every element came out just perfectly. They were always on time and dependable. They were so clean, courteous and respectful - we enjoyed having them at our house for several weeks. We trust them and their work is high quality. Our Project Manager for the job was Zach. He was also great to work with. Anytime I had questions about what was included or not included in the price, he was very fair and empathetic.I definitely recommend you hire 5 Star Kitchen and Bath for your remodeling projects. I was so nervous to do this, but now Im extremely satisfied and cant believe these beautiful bathrooms are actually in my own home!
Anahi was our contact. She was knowledgeable about the different options and talking us through our questions and what we wanted to do.
Great work awesome customer service and he did all the work shirtless but he had to fill his car up with cooling as he left 🐵
Now that the bathroom is finally done, I thought Id update the review.Bottom line: BEWARE! Stay away from this company. Why 2 stars? Apart from the problems already mentioned previously (read below), which prompted the company to at least tape/mud all the drywall [this was not included in the 50k originally quoted], here are the reasons:- no communication whatsoever. Unless you get phone numbers and call people (hunt them down) no one will tell you anything. If there are changes to your plans they will not tell you but simply assume something and do it that way. In our case: Someone assumed to texture the ceiling. Now we have to sand it off to get the smooth finish we want. Did they offer to fix that? Yes. The point is that IT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED, instead of assuming, they should have communicated with us before doing it.- we now have a door in our bathroom but... NO DOOR HANDLE! We decided to see if the crew would notice and put it in at some point but that never happened. I guess that was not included in the plans??- We had to buy our own knobs/handles for the vanity because apparently that was also not included in a 50k bathroom either. Reimbursement? Nope, nothing. SO: Specify you would like all the hardware when you go with this company. Really. Dont assume youll get anything.- Instead of having miter joints for the door casing they mustve had a ten year old just stack blocks. It looks horrible. Did they offer to fix it? Yes. The point is: THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN in a professional installation. They do say they have certified workmen but make sure you dont have the plumber frame your walls. Or the carpenter doing the plumbing.- make sure you get what you order and enough of the material, too. In our case there apparently wasnt enough acrylic sheeting to finish off one part of the shower. They decided (without consulting us) to use some white, about 1/2 inch thick material. It looks horrible but we were informed only after the fact.- no cover plate on an electrical junction box (thats going to be covered by the mirror, it really doesnt matter - was the workers comment)We are sad and frustrated that we paid 50k for this bathroom. Would never recommend this company to anyone.Look at some of the pictures for the results of their work. This is an edit to the previous 1-star reviewInitial 1-star review rationale:- no permit application was filed, inspector shut down workers on day 3- wrong measurements were taken, leading to 2 complications: a) the tub we picked was too large for the space we had, b) the framing that was consequently installed to ensure the tub would fit left us with a hallway that wouldve been too small and not up to code- no light fixture (except the above-mirror light) was on the plans, resulting in us buying a light that was then installed for an additional cost of $800.- no door planned/ordered for the bathroom- no breakdown of actual costs (but thats on us, we did not press him on it and accepted the final number). Why we upped it to a 3-star review:The project manager (Donny) came by within 24 hours and looked at the building site. He took exact measurements and explained where miscommunication had happened.- We will get the toilet we picked since it was a miscalculation on the companys part not to include all the toilet parts- The wall will be reframed to bring the hallway back up to code- He was on his way to filing the permit application(s) after visiting with us and taking measurements- While we cannot keep the original tub we picked, he gave us different options and we picked a different one- Well have a bathroom door
We have been working with Anahi for the last couple weeks planning a kitchen remodel. She has been great to work with and is very thorough and meticulous with her planning. I plan on completing another review once the job is complete, but so far so good.
This is a review of the sales process thus far with 5 Star and specifically Kim Call. Kim has met with us 3 times to work through a quote and design of a kitchen remodel we are doing in Daybreak. Kim has been great to work with so far and the communication from the 5 Star team has been excellent. Kim took the time to discuss what we were thinking and provided ideas and advice on some of the areas we werent sure about. He has been attentive to our needs and did a great job of answering all 12309123 questions we threw at him. The quote we got for the work we are looking to get done was under budget for what we had originally estimated the cost to be which was a plus. So far Ive had a great experience with 5 Star and Kim and look forward to seeing how the rest of the project goes when we kick it off after the first of the year. I will update this post once the work is done to reflect the entire 5 Star experience.
We originally chose to work with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath because they use all in house contract crews and do not sub-out the work they perform. Working with Anahi confirmed that we made the right decision. She has been extremely helpful and paid particular attention to detail. She ensured we were happy with the entire project.
Kim is AMAZING!!! He was so great & helpful to come & look at everything in our home & he is doing whatever it takes to help us get an operating shower for me & my girls. They do amazing work & I can’t wait to work with them!!! Kim was even great with our dog who pretended he was the man of the house!
5 Star Kitchen and Bath just wrapped up work on my bathroom remodel. They did an amazing work and did it quickly. Chandler, Matt, and Trapper were all very professional and hardworking. They walked me through their process and after helped with any questions I had. I would highly recommend this company and if you can ask for these three gentleman.
Customer service was amazing. They helped us find the perfect shower for our bathroom at a price that worked perfect for our budget
We were looking for estimates for a basement bathroom/laundry remodel from 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. Our estimator was Ryan, and he was punctual, professional and friendly. He was listened well to what we wanted, and was very polite. It required 2 visits, the first one to take measurements and find out what we wanted, and a follow up visit after consuting with his team to plan out what would be needed, and to choose finishes, for example countertop colors, handles etc. Overall, it was an excellent experience for us. We did not end up going with his company primarily because their estimate exceeded our budget. They do appear to use good quality materials, and have an excellent warranty, being willing to repair or replace products if there is a problem. Nice work Ryan, you are a credit to your company!
The experience started out great. Tim Wagaman did a great job walking us through what we thought would be a great remodel. The installers were great to work with and respectful of our home however accidents happen right? During the demo one of the guys dropped some concrete down the stairs, put a hole in my wall and damaged the flooring. I wasnt going to mention this in my review because I told it would be taken care of. The install was scheduled for Sept. 21-25. Here we are October 21st and my floor is still not fixed the wall has a poorly done patch job that I am now responsible to paint. We are missing a cabinet door that was damaged on install. I cant get a straight answer on when I can expect to see my door. Managers say they will call us back then we hear nothing. I just want the job finished. 30+ for 2 bathrooms and I still have to paint it myself.... Ill let the reader decide if that is worth it.
Kim at 5 Star Kitchen & Bath has been great with us through each step of our kitchen remodel. He and the team have been thorough in going through all of our requirements and have made sure were getting what we want. The attention to detail has made us feel very comfortable. Wed definitely recommend selecting 5 Star!
Kim arrived at our home right on time to give us an estimate. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. Even better, he put together our estimate and gave it to us right in our kitchen during his visit. No waiting weeks to hear from him. It was very refreshing. We had spoken with several different contractors for estimates on our kitchen remodel but none were as efficient, responsive, or professional as Kim with 5 Star! We’re looking forward to working with these folks.
Ricky did the bath install along with Ryan, Matthew and Froylan. I cant say enough good things about them. Ricky was meticulous and the install exceeded my expectations!
Anahi has been extremely helpful in this whole remodel process. She is very responsive to our ideas and does everything she can to make sure we get exactly what we want. She has great design ideas and has been great in ensuring we understand the entire process!
The work was amazing. I am so happy about the work that the guys did when they installed my new shower and I loved that Anahi Preston helped me design it all. She was great. The price was just right. I recommend 5 star kitchen and bath to all my friends and family. I will be using them more in the future.
Anahi was very personable and professional with a great presentation. The products look easy to maintain and very durable. We’re excited to see this come to fruition. Thank you, Anahi!
Dave Adamson came out to our home to discuss our kitchen remodel plans. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. He asked what our wish list for the kitchen is and took detailed notes on what we want. Were looking forward to meeting again next week to go over his design ideas.
My wife and I typically dont post company reviews but in this case we had to. In June we had 3 companies come to our home to bid a shower remodel in our master shower. We decided to go with 5 Star out of the group. When the install date came, we ran into a bit of a snag with the product being installed. It wasnt what we conveyed to the sales rep. There was miscommunication of what we wanted to what the sales rep perceived we wanted. We werent shown any pictures, examples, sketches (our fault, lesson learned there to always ask) and we took the sales reps word for it that he understood what we wanted and would meet our needs. After a bit of run around, we finally got a hold of someone who could help us. Donny got a hold of us and we explained our situation. He was very good to listen to our frustrations and wanted to make it right. In a world where customer service is quickly becoming a thing of the past, it was refreshing to have a company and a person willing to listen to what we had to say and then do everything to make it right. Throughout this entire process (save for the sales rep ) we have been treated with the best customer service, and I mean THE BEST. It is not hyperbole when I say it, these guys really were attentive to our needs for a relatively small job. We have had a few mishaps this year at our home which has brought in several contractors. Weve had bad experiences with all of them and we were apprehensive about this situation as well.5 Star far exceeded what we were expecting. We ended up even talking to the owner Walter at one point who had the utmost respect and professionalism. This company really bent over backwards to make things right for us. We couldnt be happier with the product they delivered and how we were treated. It was refreshing to know there is a company out there with INTEGRITY who truly cares about their clients.Thank you Thank you 5 Star.I promise this is not a paid review, look it up, we are legit customers and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for the services they offer.-Nick and Julie
Kim is amazing! He came out to my house to give me ideas on how to finish an unfinished bathroom area. Very professional and knowledgeable about the business and products. He was very warming in his presentation and what the company is all about. He had lots of samples with him to look at. I actually had another appointment with another company right after Kim left and was not impressed with them like I was with 5 Star Kitchen and Bath! I will be using this company when I do my project.
Very difficult to work with. Workers were great but left some scratches on ceiling and walls. Took 5 months. Would not use again. Wanted to nickel and dime you to death. $27,000 plus for just a bathroom.
Kim was awesome! He was very easy to talk to and is very personable and professional. We had a lot of questions for him and he was able to answer them all and then some. He represented the company well and we would feel very comfortable putting our trust in 5 Star to complete our bathroom and kitchen remodel. He made sure that before he left that we were satisfied with the visit and information given to us. We would definitely want to work with him again in the future. Thanks for being great!
Met with Nathan to discuss our bathroom ideas and remodel. He was so informed and helpful. Most of all, he was genuine which is hard to find in today’s world. 100% recommend meeting with him and going with 5 star.
Froy and Lazaro are great to work with. They are very diligent and show you everything they are doing. Thank you for having them work on our project! They were too nice !
Weve been working with Anahi for our kitchen remodel. Over the course of the past few weeks she has been incredibly helpful getting our new kitchen design and has also been flexible with our schedule and time line. Even when it came down to the last bit of paperwork and check processing she gave us time to sleep on our decision rather than pressuring us into making a choice in a big financial decision.
Kim was great! He was a tad late but let me know ahead of time and was incredibly considerate about it. He had answers to all of my questions, which were plenty. On top of all of that he was fun to talk and wasnt pitching us the whole time. It was obvious that he and the company want to perform quality work. He was honest and clear and didnt leave until he he was sure that we had everything we needed from the visit. Awesome visit. Would have him over again.
More like 1-star kitchen and bath. Salesman promised something very different than what was installed. I should have known there would be problems when the wrong tub was sent with the installers. Residue caulk left all over the tub and trim after filling gaping spaces (up to 3/4). The trim that they used felt like scrap - rough edges and notches here and there. Overflow drain installed 1/2 off center line (out of alignment with everything else - cant fix that). Bowed scrap materials with chipped cut lines used as spacers in cabinets. They tried to fix/hide the cabinet spacer issues with gobs of wax. The moment they left, I removed their spacers, scraped off the wax, went to the cabinet manufacturer and purchased the correct spacer materials, cut without chips, and installed myself. Now Im working on cleaning up the residue caulk mess all around the tub and trim (it was supposed to be trim-less). Also trying to get the tub bottom drain centered. They did offer a discount for some of the troubles (~15%), but Id much rather have paid full price for the bathroom that I wanted without lingering headache and buyers remorse. I cannot in good faith recommend 5-Star Kitchen & Bath.
They have use a very good value for our money. David was great.
Complete remodel of our kitchen and it turned out amazing! Zach and his team were so professional I could leave my house with them here and feel comfortable. Donnie was there to work out any issues that came up. I would give this company 5 stars but the communication is the only draw back.
We decided to go with 5 Star because of the great sales experience we had with Anahi and Donnie. A good price and a flexible, helpful, and understanding experience. Thanks, 5 Star.
Kim has been great to work with so far. Very personable and spent a lot of time helping discuss all our options. Looking forward to seeing our updates kitchen.
Anahi met with me and went through all options to remodel my bathroom and fix plumbing issues. She found one with financing that worked for me. Im excited to have things finished!
I worked with Anahi in place if a new bathroom in our basement was very flexible with us. She was able to get the price to somewhere we can work with.
Anahi was a very professional and helpful through the whole process. Would recommend people come to 5 star to get quote and see the large selection of options.
We like how they quickly called us back,. They were very concerned about us getting what we wanted. And we liked the different remodel options.
We contacted 5 Star Kitchen & Bath for a kitchen estimate. Dave Adamson was the estimator. We were impressed with his knowledge and flexibility to work with us. We are expecting the estimate next week and I will update this review then.
Kim was on time and did a great job with a bid for our master bathroom shower remodel. He listened to us and made sure all of our needs and wants were addressed. Will update when the work is done.
5 star is great to work with! The sales person was awesome and listened to everything we wanted with our kitchen remodel. The installers were awesome as well! The only reason I am doing 4 stars is because I feel like their communication needs work both internally and externally. There were some delays (due to covid) which I totally understand but I wish communication was better.
We met with David and Ryan to plan out our kitchen remodel. They were both very professional and knowledgable. They took the time to listen to our ideas and provide feedback. Excited to work with them!
Tim Wagaman came over to look over our kitchen counter remodel and his knowledge is admirable. He was very concise and meticulous in his explanations and he left having answered all my questions. I feel like 5 Star is capable of delivering a quality project and job. I have initially given 4 stars as selling the product is only half the job. After installation is complete Ill update the review and possibly add the last star is I am satisfied with the installation. If I could add some constructive criticism it would be nice to have a quote that is fully itemized so you know how the final price tag is determined. Their price is a little high but so is their assumed quality of work. I hope to be fully satisfied. Update pending installation.UPDATE: Its now been a few months since the counter tops and sink have been installed and we love them. We did have a small plumbing issue but 5 Star responded quickly and professionally to get the issue resolved quickly. We are happy with the product, installation and service. True to their name 5 star deserves all 5 stars.
UPDATE: The work is complete and I am beyond pleased! I love my new bathtub and surround. The work was done efficiently, and everything looks great. I really appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned up after the fact, too. My bathroom looks awesome now. There was a problem with the bathtub installation during the initial install. Once the issue was identified they brought it to my attention immediately and explained the plan of action--I really appreciated their initiative. It meant waiting a few days for a new tub to get ordered, but it arrived on time and the remaining installation went smoothly (I didnt pay for any of that--they took responsibility right away).Im very happy with these guys. I know Im not staying in this house forever and if my next home doesnt have something amazing I fully intend to use this company again.---So far I have only had the original setup and discussion and not had any work done, so I wouldnt feel comfortable leaving a full 5 stars. Tim came by and was very knowledgeable and down to earth. He gave me some great advice and found ways to save me a ton of money while still giving me a bathroom remodel I would love. Hes answered a ton of my questions and concerns and has been very patient and helpful.I am currently signing up to have the work done and will update my review once the work is complete. I have received a small discount in exchange for writing this review. The thoughts and opinions are my own, and written in my own words.
Mr. Kim is exactly the kind of professional my wife and I had in mind when it came to venturing out and starting our first kitchen remodel. He took hours pouring over details with us (we were very stubborn and hard to please; forgive us!). We will definitely be using this company (and specifically requesting Kim) when we remodel our bathroom. He was amazing 5/5 would recommend to ANYONE looking to remodel their kitchen or bathroom! We CANNOT wait to see the finished product (STAY TUNED)!
David Adamson gave us a quick quote and asked specific Questions. He knows his business and will not sell you something you may not want. They have a 12 week waiting period which is normal right now.We had the best experience with them since they give us a quote right away. However as David came back the 3rd time we made some changes and he told us great this will save you money. Apparently, we needed some more electrical panels which they told us after they came by 3 times and already gave us a final quote. It ended up to be 5K more than we were told so we didn’t do it with them.
I would like to really shout out our installers James and Ricky. They were so respectful of our home and space. They worked fast and did an excellent job. They made sure all our questions and concerns were addressed and we were truly getting what we wanted. It looks beautiful and we are so happy with it. They really do quality work! I would 100% use this company again.
We have been very impressed so far with this kitchen remodeling company. So far we have only discussed our remodeling options with Kim from 5 star but have been treated really well so far. He listened to our concerns and presented his own opinions. We look forward to our next appointment with him.
Im providing a review solely for the first appointment with Nate. We have not had any work done yet, but I wanted to make sure Nate got the 5 stars he deserved for his amazing customer service. Of all the people that came to give us quotes, he was the only one to pull out a measuring tape, talk to us about options, and listen to our needs and concerns. We decided to go with 5 Star because of Nates genuine interest in us and non-judgmental assessment of our situation. Thanks Nate!Another review will be provided once the work is done...
Tim was so easy to work with! He walked us through everything and helped us get to a price we were comfortable with. We didn’t feel pressured or uneasy. He was considerate of our time and our home. We got to design the new bathroom we wanted. He suggested things we love, that we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. Definitely would recommend 5 star kitchen and bath! Also now that we’ve had the install I wanted to say that James and Ricky were so good to work with. They were respectful of our home and space, they worked hard and made sure we were happy all along the way! We are very happy with the final product and they were so good to us and made sure all our questions and concerns were taken care of! 100% would use them again!
This was a great experience from start to finish. My bathtub is a dream and I cant wait to get in it. Kim was honest and forthright as he gave me an estimate. Zach and Trapper were pleasant and professional as they installed it. They went above and beyond to make sure my experience was perfect. Thank you.
Chandler and Trapper were excellent and hard-working. They didnt want to even stop for breaks or for lunch. Chandler was extremely knowledgeable and precise and completed each days work with clean up and preparations for the coming day. The building that was required was extensive and thorough. Trapper was a very good assistant and worked hard. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest rating, they were a 6. Please let them finish the shower by putting in the glass when it comes.
Dave was very professional very friendly and helped us answer all of our questions about our remodel and we feel very satisfied with that.
My wife and I met with Tim and he was great. Good ideas and had all the samples to chose from in his truck. We liked what he had to offer so much we decided to remodel both bathrooms upstairs. Looking forward to having the work completed by the team at 5 Star Kitchen & Bath.
5-Star has been great to work with. Dave is top notch, and a straight shooter. We needed a new shower, and 5 stars bid was competitive and a higher quality product/extras than everyone else. Dave worked with us, and explained working with insurance. I dont know how this could have been a better experience, so give 5-Star a hard look!
Kim came out for a quote appointment and he was on time, very polite and quite thorough. He talked my wife and I through colors, options and materials including samples. I liked the idea of a quick project turn around time of one week for our bathroom. Unfortunately they were scheduling 6-8 weeks out and we were ready to go right then. Regardless I would recommend 5 star for your project and cross your fingers that you get Kim for your quote!
Kim came out and was very helpful and personable. So far he has kept all appointments and showed up on time. He helped us work up a beautiful plan to remodel our kitchen. There is a bit of a wait before we can get started, due to other projects booked. But we hope that speaks for quality and experience. So far we are really excited and hope to bump rating up after the job is complete.************project completed update*************Our kitchen was done in three weeks. Jason and Ryan came out first week and got the cabinets in, ran our gas line, adjust water line for sink. Ben was great and got our light fixtures moved. We had a week with no work happening while waiting for the countertop which was expected and we were aware of ahead of time. Then Carson and Ryan came back to finish everything up, backsplash and appliances. Ben had to come back later to install the light fixtures. They did a great job and I’m very happy with my new kitchen. However there were a couple of miscommunications and mishaps. The water lines for my sink were reversed which lead to a leak while installing appliances(which Carson cleaned up graciously and clearly marked correct piping), the outlet for my stove was covered up, but we have another very close that we can use, a vent was covered up by cabinets and when we asked for it to be uncovered the best they could do was put a vent in the kick plate so air moves freely under the cabinets and sort of out the vent. My walls are textured and they did not quite make it match where they had mudded. But that could be because my house is like 40 years old so they may not make the same anymore. We only met the project manager, Donnie, twice but he was nice. Jason, Ryan, Carson, Ben, and Kim were all very nice and respectful. They communicated with us well when they would be here to work. They were always punctual and courteous. I wanted to give 5 stars but it wasn’t quite perfect, but overall a positive experience.
I have to say, my first experience with 5-star and Tim Wagaman went smooth and smashing that I did leave a 5-star review. However, upon being a contracted customer, I am a more than let down by their services and wont be referring them to anyone.Tim had come into my home and knew that I did not have a bathroom. We are talking down to the studs, everything gutted. No place to shower, no place to pee. It was only until after we were signed that it was disclosed that it would be a 6-8 weeks until install. I was also promised that I would become priority as our needs of no bathroom and no toilet would be understood. Here I am, updating this review on the eve of the original 6-8 week deadline and I am still not getting an install for another 3 weeks. What kind of company and salesman would knowingly let someone live without a bathroom? In review of this process. I wish they would have considered me an individual and not a commission or paycheck.I am sure if any employee or member of this organization was without a bathroom this long that it would be deemed unacceptable. I do wish that there was more communication about their expectations and just more communication. Please beware of this company and their promises. My family has not been a priority for them and its heartbreaking because they were so full of potential and promise when we met at the beginning of this venture. Please save your pocket books and family from undue stress and give support to a more localized specialist in the community.
We just wanted a bid on our master shower and floor. David Adamson came and was quick and thorough. I appreciated he valued my time enough to be quick and efficient. I dont know if we will go with this company yet, but I am so grateful for the use of my time in this consultation that I wanted to leave this review.
Dave Adamson educated us on the options and products available, along with patiently answering all of our questions. His knowledge and professionalism was exceptional. We were also very impressed with the quality and appearance of the products. We were not shown any “cheap” items dressed up to look good. Every product shown was of excellent, durable quality and the products and pricing were presented and explained by Dave in a manner that we easily understood. It is always a pleasure to have a professional to work with, especially when they do not leave you feeling pressured or anxious. If you are considering a bath remodel, you need to call “5 Star” and ask for Dave.
David was very helpful and gave me great advice for my kitchen. Our remodel budget for our kitchen is tight, so he recommended affordable options and gave me good design ideas. He was very helpful and offered great customer service.
Cant say enough good things about 5 Star. They did a tub and shower remodel in our master bathroom last year and did such a great job we had them back for a kitchen and flooring remodel this time around and we couldnt be happier with the result! All the guys that worked on our home were extremely professional and did a great job. Carson, Brandon, James Brady and Zack were all very respectful of our home and it was obvious that our satisfaction was their primary concern. I look forward to working with them again when we get around to finishing our basement. Thanks guys!
Kim came in and looked at the space and helped us find some amazing ideas that truly look gorgeous and was so willing to help us find out something that would look amazing for us and that we would love.
David A. came to my cabin today and provided excellent advice on my modest remodel of 2 bathrooms and Kitchen. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable with great suggestions. We are in the research stage but his rough estimate came in at the budget we had in mind. Definitely a class act all around!!!
Dave and Pat came to our house and performed an initial inspection of our proposed master bathroom remodel. I was pretty impressed with the attention to detail and the questions he asked us on how we want things to turn out. I feel that if I decide to go with 5 Star for my remodel I wont have any surprises on my bill after the project is complete. I feel that 5 Star would be a good choice and would stand by their products. I do think that they may be more expensive than some but I think that can be justified by their services they provide for helping you pick out everything before its installed.
Kim came over today to give us a bid on 2 bathroom remodels. We have never undertaken anything remotely like this, and we had no idea what to expect. Kim is so friendly, personable and professional. Hes very easy to talk to and we never felt pressured. He was efficient with our and his time as well. He actively listened to our concerns and wrote everything down. When it came time to go over samples, it was purely painless! His presentation was extremely thorough regarding what makes 5 Star stand out among the competition, and he also showed us a useful website for determining whether we would be paying industry average for the Salt Lake City region.
My wife and I were planning to remodel / refresh our master bathroom. Our home is in Bountiful, Utah. Our house was built in 1965, and the master bathroom had not been remodeled since then. We remodeled our kitchen 8 years ago and had planned to remodel our master bath a few years after that but had not got around to it until now. We contacted a few contractors, including 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. The 5 Star representative, Kim Call came to our house and made a very professional and thorough review of our existing bathroom, giving some very good suggestions for remodeling our bathroom. The price he quoted was good, and his professional knowledge was high. Therefore, we selected 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. This was in November of this year. 5 Star is very busy, and therefore, the construction schedule was to start the work by end of January / early February of next year, with the goal of completing the work by no later than the middle of February. We felt that schedule was good for us, so we signed a contract with Kim.Since signing the contract, my wife and I decided to move to St. George where the weather is nicer. We started casually looking for homes in St. George in order to gauge what housing costs would be. We expected to not start looking for a new home in earnest until next summer. But we found a new house under construction in a great location. We really loved the place and made an offer, which was accepted. The new house is scheduled to be completed by early February. So, we need to put our house in Bountiful up for sale before the bathroom remodel will be completed. This decision was made after the no-penalty cancellation time as stipulated by the bathroom remodel contract with 5 Star. The cancellation fee as stipulated in the contract would be 50% of the agreed to price. I contacted Kim and asked if something less than 50% could be arranged, realizing that if materials had already been ordered I would need to pay for those. Kim was very understanding of our situation and asked his management if a smaller cancelation fee could be authorized.5 Star agreed that since we were a few months out from the construction date that the cancelation fee would be reduced to cover just the cost of already procured materials. This was very much appreciated. This shows the honest business practices of 5 Star Kitchen and Bath. My wife and I very much appreciate the honesty and integrity of Kim and his management at 5 Star Kitchen and Bath.
We have been working with David at 5 Star Kitchen and bath to plan our remodel. He has been very informative, gave us some great ideas we hadnt thought of for maximizing space in our small kitchen and we cant wait for the work to begin!
We had Dave over today to look at our bathroom and provide us a bid.The company called and confirmed our appointment the day before. He was a few minutes early and didnt waste any of our time. He got straight to business and reviewed our options with us in great detail. The man really knows his stuff! We feel confident that Dave and his team will do an excellent job on our shower remodel.
Kim came yesterday to give us bids on 2 bathroom remodels. He was exceptionally professional, prompt and very easy to talk to. I was very impressed by his note taking and attention to detail. His presentation about 5 star and the remodeling process was low pressure and professional. Kim wanted to be absolutely sure that we didnt have any questions about the process or quote. We never felt rushed or hurried into choosing our options. 5- star is fortunate to have Kim as a part of their team!!I am however surprised that he did not leave us with a written estimate. We asked that he email one to is and we havent received it yet. I hope there is is follow through there.
David stopped by our house to give us a free consultation and estimate for a kitchen remodel. He was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. He gave us some great suggestions what to do with our project. He is very mindful of budget limitations. We look forward to working with his company.
I had a terrible experience with this company. David Adamson came to give us a bid, and Ive rarely dealt with such unprofessional behavior while he was here and after he left. He sat down and bragged about the companys reviews and that he fully expected us to write one, too. He tried to impress us with name-dropping of wealthy clients and expensive remodels in Park City, which I found appalling. In those descriptions he talked about the high-end furniture they had, none of that RC Willey stuff that more modest homes might have. As he described his plans for our kitchen, his plans, not our plans, he used industry terms that no one uses, perhaps to impress us. He showed more interest in his designs and materials than what we suggested. I felt his language and behavior was patronizing and condescending, and as a consultant I was thinking how I could write a good article on this display of casual arrogance. It got worse. When the company called with the bid, they said Dave insists on delivering it personally, and that we couldnt see it unless we complied. I refused, based on his behavior here. I asked them to email me the bid and Ill call them. The woman was hesitant but agreed. Two weeks later and still no email, and I informed them of this. Twice I spoke to a woman who said shed ask Dave to email the bid, but he never did. It was his way, or no way. Ill never do business with them, after all, they dont want my business.
Was really happy with the sales process but it went downhill after that. Tim came out on late notice and was able to give me a reasonable quote and price match and an install date that worked for my tight schedule. They are also able to do more work beyond just the new shower, which is exactly what I needed.Chandler and Ricky came out to install my shower. They were careful in the demolition process, they cleaned up nicely after they were done for the day, and installed the shower the next day with the same respect for my home. I thought it was going well but then 2 weeks later they came to install the shower door and after 4 hours of trying to make it fit they told me the project manager would have to come take a look at it. I could quickly tell that they didn’t level-out one of the shower walls, so when the shower door was installed it wasn’t closing properly. In trying to get the shower door to close the way it should, they drilled holes in one of the shower walls where they shouldn’t have and then tried to cover up there mistake with silicone caulk. It looks terrible. Now they have to tear the shower out and reinstall it. I’m still waiting for the project manager, Jerry, to tell me when they’ll be able to come fix it. Hoping they will make this right.
Kim call came to my home and gave me a consultation for a tub and shower surround remodel. He was on time, very professional. He was friendly and caring.
Met today with Kim Call from 5 Star Kitchen and Bath about remodeling a full bath. He was on-time, courteous, professional and tremendously helpful. No pressure and took the time to explain many options and choices. Although the total price was higher than I hoped (isnt it always?!), it was within reason. I think my new bath is going to be beautiful! I look forward to working with 5 Star.
Kim and Nate came to bid our kitchen and bath remodel. They were on time and very personable. I felt that they listened and really paid attention to what we want and gave us some good feedback. Kim and Nate were respectful of our time and our home. We are grateful for the no pressure approach, I felt very comfortable. I appreciated how well they listened to our ideas and explained what may be involved in getting it done. I liked that they didnt dismiss our ideas and are willing to make it work, and understood what makes sense for our budget.Talking with these gentlemen really gave me a good feeling about this company. I am glad we called them.
Tim and Nate came out to our place and helped us with a bathroom remodel consultation. Their service was very professional and they answered questions with clarity. The sales process was respectful and not high pressure. Seems like a very well run business.
David Adamson came to our summer home for two bathroom estimates. He was on time, very thorough, and very informative. He took the time to ensure every question was answered and gave us suggestions specific to our needs. Thank you, David!
Dave was very knowledgeable on available products and their quality. He also had great ideas to assist with the design of our kitchen remodel. I am looking forward to continue working with him and benefitting from his expertise.
We found 5 star in the Hometown Values Magazine after some other independent contractors wouldnt return our calls. We really lucked out. When Tim came to our home to do an estimate he was extremely professional and courteous. He was informative and encouraged us to ask questions. We very much appreciated that he offered his expertise and gave us several options/solutions to our project without pressuring us. He gave us an honest estimate and explained the process of reaching that price. Tim has the company living up to its name and if the rest of the team is as professional as he is then this should be a very smooth home project!
Kim is the best human ever! So professional and so good at his job!
We just finished a complete kitchen remodel with 5 Star. They have been amazing to work with. John, the salesman, went the extra mile to give us a bid quickly. He designed an amazing kitchen with 3d models to help us visualize how it would look. Donald, the project manager kept everything on schedule and quickly addressed any questions or concerns we had. Our lead installer, Froylan, was an incredibly hard worker and quickly earned our trust. The cabinets and flooring are beautiful and have transformed our house. We are extremely happy with our kitchen and our experience with 5 Star. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.
Ricky Arball and Carson Meyers came to my home and did a fantastic job! They did all the plumbing for my new bath. They were professional and competent. They explained the project as it progressed and made me feel comfortable about all the decisions that had to be made. I will definitely recommend them for you projects! I will use 5 Star Kitchen and Bath for my future needs!
We have been working with Tim on some custom built-in cabinets/storage in our master bedroom, and Im really happy to work with someone who is so friendly and helpful in figuring out what we can do for what I was envisioning! The design and mockup he came up with is exactly what I had been trying to imagine in my head, I cant wait to get them installed!
