Our 2 year old dryer stopped working (right after manufacturers warranty expired, ugh!) we hired this company since it was recommended to us. They replaced the broken part, but within a few weeks the dryer (which the handy man kept saying was in excellent condition and was a great dryer and got us out of buying a new one, that we considered after he told us of the high costs of repair) broke again (makes a horribly loud noise that never did before) we called since they offer warranty supposing the failure would be covered by their “warranty”and that was probably linked to their assembly. They just said it was just bad luck and that it needed another piece that would cost $150, Without even inspecting the dryer to diagnose the problem.We didn’t go with it, looks like their staff get a cut of the services they give.Since they “fixed it” the dryer felt a bit weird. Now it makes this horrible annoying loud noise, if I tweak the spinning drum it stops, or if it doesn’t have clothes in it, seems like it just wasn’t properly assembled. The worker said that I could open the dryer and oil it and that it should usually take care of the problem. But that he couldn’t do it without changing and charging for the part (that he didn’t even inspect) . So much for warranty…and if he knows oiling is needed for the dryer to function correctly why wouldn’t he do it the first time he “fixed” the dryer.For the first repair we paid $300 about and the piece online costs $50. Not worth it. We hired thinking it would save us the time to fix it ourselves, we were left on the same boat but with emptier pockets. Just browse online and fix it yourself or find an honest man who does this for a living, not from a bigger place like this one.
