Garber Midland Tech Service was able to fix my electrical problem when out of state dealer could not. The Service Dept did a fantastic job and helped with loaner car, then rental. Always considerate of the impact and worry this was causing me. Garber has a great service staff at this location.

I had service work completed. Staff was professional and courteous. They provided me excellent service and took care of most of the needs.

Brought the car in for a tire rotation and oil change today. Usually good service but today was the exception. Made an appointment over a week ago for 9 am, car sat in the parking lot until it finally went back 52 minutes later, what is the sense of making an appointment. A tire rotation and oil change should not take two hours.. I was then informed someone had grabbed my keys off the counter and wont be able to return them for 2 hours. They did offer me a ride and comped my service but you cant make this up.

I’d personally like to give Robert at Garber Chevrolet a 5 star rating. When picking up my car from service, there were a few things that popped up. From the moment he was made aware, he was right on top of them and making sure they were made right. Service like that is rare anymore and is greatly appreciated. There is a recall on my 2017 Chevy Bolt for issues with the battery. I had it in at Garber Chevrolet for service twice already (the last time on April 19). A few weeks later, I received a card in the mail telling me I had another recall service needed. I called Garber and asked if this was the same service that had already been performed since I had already had my Bolt in twice for the same thing. I was told that it was another issue and was scheduled to bring it in again today (May 11). When I got to the dealership, I was told it had already been serviced. In fact, the service staff member asked another staff member if I was the person who they had already been talking about whose service had already been performed twice. So not only did the staff already perform it twice, they knew today as well and didn’t bother to call before I made the 45 minute drive from Mt. Pleasant. This service is unacceptable.

I was quite surprised when Brandi suggested that I might upgrade from my Trax to a Trailblazer at a reasonable cost. In fact once I saw how it was just a bit larger than my Trax and it handled beautifully and my monthly cost would be less than what I was paying for my Trax, I was sold! I just love the added features and how the exterior black and white design was so classy. Thank you, Brandi, treating me like a queen! I dropped my car and keys off overnight. In the morning they checked it out and called me with an estimate. The next day it was all finished and ready to go. Fast and professional service.

Not sure anything was done. I turned in my vehicle for a recall. When I went back to pick it up they told me I needed tires but NO Paperwork for what was done. I had also asked to have my vehicle inspected as the warranty is almost done. Again nothing. The technician was not available when I picked up the vehicle...not real happy with the service. UPDATE: I was contacted by Garber and asked to stop by. I was issued the paperwork stating all was good and that the recall was completed. Thank you Garber for the excellent Service.

Tldr; Techs are professional & do great work. For big mechanical issues, Id go back here.Took my 10 Equinox in for some bad engine noise that a different mechanic shop told me was probably my timing chain, so I asked Garber to service the timing chain. It cost a pretty penny but their work is certified - cant get much better service than the dealership itself. Unfortunately the bad engine noise wasnt the timing chain, and Garber diagnosed the sound down to my transfer case instead, which they ordered and replaced. My car drives significantly better now.The two repairs took a little longer than Id hoped, Wed-Tue, mostly due to waiting for the part to arrive, but I was patient, and Bobby communicated their progress to me at the end of almost every day.

Went in to buy a heater hose, 19129956.Im donating my time to a local church who is helping a man who recently lost his wife and mother to covid at the midland hospital, who also got covid and was very sick, now he has liver failure.The parts guy said $160, I asked for a discount and told the reason, he said no discount. I looked online and the same part, oem, is $80. Come on guys, you are better than this, good business is about helping the community. Forced to order online as we have a budget. Walked away disappointed.

Recently had my 07 suburban in to be serviced, oil change and oil cooling lines replaced, took vehicle on vacation, towing camper to rhode Island and back, get home, and have an oil leak, check it out and oil filter is loose enough to spin off by hand, now I had to do a second oil change with filter, so you have lost my trust, and I feel have jeopardized safety, very disappointed to say the least, will be searching for a more reliable shop to do service on my vehicle
