I have a cat with an upper respiratory issue that results in lots of sneezing and lots of snot. (sorry for being gross) Ive been unable to clean it off my couch myself. Two nice young men came today and did a fantastic job. Cat snot dries like concrete (sorry, again). Thank you!

This company is fantastic. I had an entire blueberry smooth spill on a light tan carpet and they were able to get it all out, despite having to wait 3 days. I couldn’t believe it.

Technicians called ahead and were very prompt. They were very professional. They were in/out before the estimated time. Cost was less than quoted over the internet! Im very pleased and will hire Modernistic for air duct cleaning again when needed.

Of all the terrific things I can say about them is their customer service. They visited our house and opted to not clean the ducts because they weren’t in need of it. I could probably lose track of the number of businesses that would clean them regardless just to make a buck. Major kudos to them for that!

Unfortunately overall one of the worst experiences of my life. Technicians were courteous, however the duct cleaning left our house covered in layered dust/debris. The equipment malfunctioned during cleaning and had to be switched with another truck, during that time my furnace was left running to fully spew all the agitated debris from the duct work into every corner of my home. When questioned about it the technician admitted to the procedure being done wrong. When I spoke with quality control it was like pulling teeth to potentially get a partial refund that was not guaranteed and would take a week or more to process. A full refund was out of the question because they technically completed the job even though my furnace did half the work, my wife was left in tears after 3 hours of cleaning up layers of dust and foot traffic and after I had to deal with quality control I just told them to keep my money since thats what they feel is a way to treat a customer. The job was admittedly done wrong and when I spoke to the representative for the owner of the company she said I had to deal with the same quality control lady and thats that, all over $450 dollars thanks a lot modernistic PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if I could give neg stars I would.

My commercial building was flooded with more than 4 feet of Sanford lake water from the dam breaking in the spring of 2020. The water stayed for 3 days before receding and the Modernistic workers entered getting the mud, drywall cut and drying for 5 days. They were aware I had no power for 3 weeks and the doors and ceiling would continue to leak flood water back into every inch of the lower level of the building. This was allowed to happen and portions of carpet that were flooded were also not removed. They failed to spray biological substance resistant material on the walls, carpet, doors and surfaces that had been touched by flood water. They charged me $84K for an incomplete job. The secondary damages caused by their lack of due diligence has added 10s of thousands of dollars more in expenses and it isnt over yet. I have attempted to negotiate but that has produced nothing. To say Im disappointed and hurt by their lack of compassion is an understatement.

I wasnt sure what to expect but this company really impressed me. Their customer service is amazing. Plus, they are true to their slogan of simple and quick!I had Richard come out to clean my carpets. He was very friendly, professional, and had a great knowledge of picking out high traffic areas. It only took them about 1.5 hours to clean 4 bedrooms, 2 hallways, and a large living room. It took less than 24 hours to dry the carpets. Richard even did a additonal passes to suck up more liquid as he knew we were moving in the next day. Way easier and faster than if I had done it myself.Nick and Mark came out today to clean my vents. They were also very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Nick took some pictures of our vents and showed they were already clean! We were not sure if the previous owners did a cleaning. He recommended to save our money and wait a couple years until they get dirty to complete the cleaning. I really appreciate the honesty and will always go to this company for these services from now on. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing these services!

Ken and Rook were outstanding. They were pleasant, professional, and patient with the entire duct cleaning process. Ken is such a perfectionist, and diligently took before and after pictures during the entire cleaning. He was very concerned that everything was done perfectly. He took great pride in his work. Truly an asset for the company. I would definitely have this group work again in my home. Even my husband was impressed, and he can be one picky, difficult customer!!!

Modernistic came and cleaned the ducts in a rental I own. It has been 4 days of cool weather and today is hot. Received a call from the very happy tenant who explained that she is sitting on the couch and suddenly noticed a breeze. She explained that lots of cool air was coming out of ducts that previously had little to seemingly no air flow. I was concerned about the return air ducts getting cleaned. I just had my furniture cleaned by Modernistic today. I was merely told they would arrive sometime before 1pm and never received a call before the technicians arrived. After having my sofa cleaned and deodorized it still smells terrible-it is as if nothing was even done. The technicians said nothing about it before leaving. On my loveseat areas of the fabric are now crunchy and stiff for some reason. DO NOT BOTHER THROWING AWAY MONEY

First time hiring Modernistic for duct cleaning. Prompt, professional, courteous, and took great care to not disrupt our pets. The technicians wore booties and made sure to not leave a mess behind. The air quality and dust levels in the house is very much improved. Highly recommend.

I called Modernistic for flood remediation after several recommendations on our neighborhood page. We had already tore everything out, only disinfecting, cleaning, and complete drying were needed.When I called, I was informed there would be a $150 eval fee if I did not go through with their service. I probably should have hung up then, but the lady was so friendly and reassuring that I went ahead and made an apt for eval.Jeremy came out to do eval and I asked him about how much he thought it might cost. $2500 was his guess, which I knew was just a rough number.However, when we got the quote via email it was 50% more than his guess, with multiple errors and double charges for the same thing/wall. Jeremy told us up front there would be no $150 eval fee, which is a good thing! My husband is a civil engineer and he made the quote bleed red with mark-ups. He told me to email Jeremy back and let him know we wouldn’t be using Modernistic’s, or anyone else’s services. I did email, declining services.Later that day, this is what really upset me, Jeremy called me and was very defensive and angry because we declined to use his company’s services. He didn’t even try to explain the double charges we saw, he was just angry with me! Who does that to someone that has already been flooded and is at their breaking point?I will never call this company again.

Showed up on time, called ahead, friendly, easy to work with on both sides. I do feel they should go over some before we arrive and after we leave protocols. What they can do & what they cant do to give a better total experience. You should thoroughly vacuum your carpets before they come and once dried, had I know this upfront, my experience would have been better

We used Andrew and Nick out of the Midland Office. They did an amazing job on some pretty dirty carpets. We are all set for the holidays now and couldnt be happier. We will definitely use them again. They were so kind and professional.

Modernistic did a fabulous job this past weekend on my home. They were very thorough, took their time, and worked extra hard on stubborn stains in my kids room. We usually use Stanley Steamer but we haven’t been impressed with their service the last couple of times. We will definitely be using modernistic again!

The guys that came to clean the duct work in my house were efficient, professional and kind. We had never had the duct work cleaned and they kept at it until it was completely cleaned out. (Apparently our cold air return was full of construction debris and it took quite a bit longer to clean out.). I would highly recommend this company!

They did a great job cleaning out our ducts and dryer vent. We have an old house, and all the ducts were added later. They did a great job sorting out heat vents and cold returns, and getting them cleaned. The cold air returns were super dirty. Weve not been here long so I have no idea when the vents were last cleaned. They were neat, worked efficiently, and cleaned up any stray dust.

Kyle and Carson did a great job. Carpets were so clean and beautiful when they left, and they really brought new life to my grungy old sofa! They were extra careful with my wool area rugs, and the rugs came out just beautiful! Price was reasonable, I thought, and Kyle did a great job of explaining the whole process and letting me know what to expect.Only 2 negatives were 1) a small chip in our wall paint, but at least it was behind the sofa. And 2) after they left, we found a pen cap and a piece of cereal under the sofa, so I dont think they moved the sofa well enough to truly clean underneath. These were the only factors that prevented me from giving a 5 rating.Overall, I would recommend Modernistic and would use them again, the next time I need carpets cleaned.

I enjoy working with Modernistic, because the workers are very professional, yet friendly. Overall, they did a nice job of cleaning my carpets. There were quite a few stains that did not come out. I am not sure if they pretreated them or not. I know I have cleaner to take them out. Other than that, the carpet does look much better and the job was done in a timely manner.

They called when they were on their way, were respectful of my property, and did a good job. My carpet is quite old, so there was just so much one could do. But it did help it to look better.

The phrase simple and quick certainly describes how our appointment played out. The gentlemen who cleaned our vents guided us through the process they were going to take, and showed us before and after photos of our vents when they were finished. The couple that cleaned our floors were very polite and the process took no more than about a half hour (aside from the time it took to dry). We would recommend this company to anyone wishing not to lift a finger to get some of the dirtiest parts of the house cleaned.

A cuckoo clock my late mother gave me was knocked off the wall and broken. They took $50. Off. Also, the furnace/ac wouldnt work after they left. I had to call for repairs. Evidently the door wasnt replaced right. They should check before they leave.

We called and spoke to someone who gave us quotes on air duct cleaning because we are getting a new furnace and AC. When we got our install dates we called back to schedule and they changed the prices. Not a trust worthy company.

Worker was pleasant and had someone he was training (student) so it probably could have gone better. They wore footies most of the time, but walked in to my newly carpeted living room with their shoes on. The student was tasked with taping over the vents, which he did not do correctly- since some weren’t fully covered. For the money I paid, I expected that they would actually remive all of the vents and clean them out- they didn’t. On quite a few they just left them in place and used a high powered hose to apparently blow the dust down to the vacuum, leaving much dust and dirt in my vent so I had to unscrew them myself and sweep it out. What did I pay them for? When I asked about it after I noticed it they claimed that they didn’t want to ruin the paint on the wall- really? They also left some trash ( waded up tape) in a couple places around the house. They would have left a ladder if I hadn’t reminded him. They did leave an attachment to their vacuum in my basement that they had to come back for. I could tell the areas they didn’t open because the vents were dirty and the area around it had dirt and dust that they didn’t clean up. I was very disappointed since I had never had this done due to the cost. Because of my uncertainty, I’m not even sure they blew out the furnace like they stated. One vent was above my daughters bed so Im wondering now if they just stepped on her bed to get to it since I didn’t hear anything being moved around. The items they did move were moved with no regard. I heard something fall over in the other room when the student pushed a side table back in place. Nothing broke but he left my stand up lamp in the middle of the floor. Disappointed for sure.

This was our first time ever having the air ducts cleaned, mostly due to the high cost of the cleaning and wasnt sure it was going to be worth it. We installed a new furnace and wanted the ducts cleaned before we turned the furnace on so we had it done.My appointment was between 1pm and 6pm and I received a call about 2:30 that they would be here in about 20 min. The 2 guys arrived and were very professional and answered all our questions before starting and explained everything they were going to do.They took before and after pictures and I was able to inspect the ducts also myself. The cold air returns were the dirtiest as expected, the hot air supply ducts were not nearly as bad, but definately could see a big difference in the before and after.We had 10 hot air supply ducts cleaned and the cold air returns cleaned and it was definately needed and worth the cost. This is NOT a do-it yourself kind of job, they have the right tools and vaccum for it. They were finished by 5:30pm so it took 2 1/2 - 3 hours.We are very happy with the job that was done and it was worth the price we paid (we had an online coupon also). With all that said, we had never had the ducts cleaned before and have no one else to compare Mondernistic to. The did an Excellent job in our view.

The 3 main stains didnt even come out and they werent anything crazy that was spilled. Over 100 dollars for a smaller living room and a staircase didnt seem legit either. The tech was nice on the phone and kept me updated and seemed honest which was cool. Not sure really what to do? I was texted to leave a review I normally dont whine lol but overall not a good experience.UPDATE- They took time to come back and address the issues. That is awesome and much appreciated. It shows they do care. I am happy to change my rating!
