My fiance and I visited the store recently, looking for wedding bands and were given the worst service ever. The woman who waited on us had a pseudo superior attitude and was incredibly snippy when we asked questions: Like it was an ordeal for her to help us. The merchandise is incredibly overpriced for the quality they offer (or lack of) and we will take our money to a better jeweler.

We have been Malloves customers for many years. Recently, Mark and his team went even more above and beyond (if that’s possible!) to accommodate us. We relocated out of state last year and adopted a dog. Three days after adoption she bit or broke my diamond off of my beautiful engagement ring while playing and we never found it. I was devastated!When COVID restrictions were lifted and we were finally able to go home to Ct., my husband wanted to surprise me. He sneaked my broken ring out of my jewelry box and headed to Malloves. We were only in town for a few days, but they managed to replace my lost diamond with an equally beautiful new one in very short time! They even wrapped my ring in a necklace box to keep the surprise going! They are simply the best!Also, Mark, if you are reading this, I’m sorry if I was rude to you on that phone call when you couldn’t tell me why you were calling and so I wouldn’t give you Paul’s number! You didn’t want to spoil that surprise!!

My husband and I went to Malloves when my engagement ring needed to be reset (from a tiffany setting to a basket setting), and were so impressed by the quality of their work and the customer service, we immediately chose them for our wedding bands as well! We are so grateful we did, we cannot recommend their team highly enough...our rings are gorgeous and we know theyll last a lifetime. Thank you, Malloves!

I went to get my husbands watch engraved with our kids initials before his climb to Everest, and met the kindest man. He did the most amazing job with the engraving. As I walked around the store waiting, I noticed they have some of the most gorgeous jewelry. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back and shop for myself.

They were extremely helpful in recreating a lost earring. When synthetic stone could not be found they used a genuine stone, yet honored their quoted price. Thats integrity every customer can respect. Thank you for helping make our Moms birthday special with this gift from our late Dad.

I had a very bad experience with another jeweler, with my rings. They had them for over a month and nothing had been done with them, except to destroy my engagement ring.I came in on a Saturday without an appointment and Christine you came over and sat with my husband and I for 45 minutes. Listen to my horror story, and listen to what I wanted done with my rings. You brought over samples to make sure that I got what I wanted. The engagement ring had to be ordered, and you had to get the other to bands brought in house. You let me know when all the bands were in the store, so that I could come in and look at them before the work started to make sure it was what I wanted. I was told that it would be about 10 days to have everything set in the bands. I was so pleased to find out that it was done in 7 days.Tom, I was told that you would have to special cut into my engagement ring to set the 2 trillions that were in my original ring. I came to pick up my rings today, and Tom, I had to have you come down and talk to me just so that I could tell you what a wonderful job on my rings. You sit above the showroom floor, I called it a pedestal, which I believe is fitting. You are definitely a master of your trade. You worked so hard and took such care with my rings and the workmanship shows.I thought that I knew what I wanted, and I can’t explain that I got more than I could have ever imagined. Malloves is my one and only jewelry store to go to now. I can’t thank you enough for all of the work that you did for me. I will be forever thankful that I found you.

Malloves Jewelers has been our go-to jewelry store for over 25 years. We have bought our holiday and birthday presents here, had our jewelry repaired and watch batteries replaced here. Their customer service is exceptional and I don’t use that term often in describing a business (unfortunately)! You can trust them!

I walked in and right up to the counter and was not acknowledged. My questions were met with shoulder shrugs or short answers like they didnt want to help me. I guess I didnt fit a certain description. I ended up just leaving because it was clear they did not want to help.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place!I needed to get my fiances ring resized in a bit of a hurry (~10 day turnaround). His ring has an unconventional design carved into it and other jewelers either said they couldnt touch it or never returned my calls. When I called Christine, she offered to take a look at the ring and consulted Tom, the goldsmith. Not only did they size the ring down for me at a competitive price, they finished this challenging job in record time! We are so so grateful for Toms hard work and Christines excellent customer service. We will absolutely be coming here again for future repair work

Very nice family owned jewelry store. There is a wide range.of jewelry and gifts for all price ranges. The jeweler that does all their work is very good! He does high quality Beautiful work from custom work to simple repairs. The gemologist is also very knowledgeable and does great work. The entire staff and very friendly and have a great knowledge of the industry.

I have known the people that work here since 2009 & they are extremely professional as well as personable! I got my wifes engagement ring here as well as our wedding bands! I love coming here and I always recommend anyone looking for jewelry (especially engagement rings/wedding bands) to go here!

I have in the past not had any issues until now. Received a mothers ring this Christmas and my family was sold a knock off stone and was told no jewelers are using real or lab created alexandrite. This is not true and actually I have visited several who do actually use them. But on the receipt it states JUNE stone and Im sorry but june is not pink buyers be aware.

I work near Malloves Middletown location and was desperately in need of a competent jeweler that could resize my ring *while I waited*. The reason: I had lost this ring (sentimental value only; its a class ring from eons ago) and it took years to replace. To my surprise, Christine immediately emailed me back when I completed the contact form on the website. She then left a phone message for a tentative appointment and I went yesterday after work.Tom is nothing short of an artist and craftsman. I was able to watch him through his workshop window resize my ring *and* reapply antique finishing. SImply amazing. I could have quite literally watched him all day. He is extremely detail oriented, setting about working on my ring as if it was his own precious possession. When he was finished it looked better than when it was brand new. The repair to the size is invisible and the color of the gold matches perfectly as does the contour and texture. The antique finishing is superb and brings out the contrast in the ring. So impressive.I would visit and recommend Malloves in a heartbeat: everyone was friendly and welcoming when I walked in the door and they extended this warmth to each person entering, as if it was their living room.Thanks to everyone at Malloves for enabling me to once again enjoy this ring and wear it daily. You have a wonderful team.

We went in to Malloves to get our wedding rings. We had an idea in mind of what we wanted but NO IDEA how to get it. Carey, our new best friend, walked us through the process and every painstaking detail. We can not say enough good things about Carey, her professionalism, her infectious joy and her eye for the tiniest detail. We had some concerns along the way about the ring and the made from thin air design. We all collectively held our breath, but Carey worked with the rest of the staff at Malloves and a vendor and in the end delivered pieces of jewelry that represent our hearts and our love. We (my husband, my self and Carey) all cried when we opened the final product. Carey was as much invested as us and that was / is the kind of jeweler we want in our life. I hope you feel confident in working with Malloves and if it is possible - ask for Carey!

I cant recommend Marc and the people at Malloves Jewelers enough. Grew up in Middletown my whole life and have seen the good for the community this company has shown. So even though moving away to Boston, when the big day came to get that special someone a ring I would trust no one else to help me which is a complete understatement of the service you will receive!Not only did they customize a beautiful ring for me with absolutely no pressure to buy or upselling, they managed to tie in pieces from existing family members jewelery to help make it a one of a kind. On top of the the impeccable service and managing to keep me in the loop as the process occurred without my fiancé finding out, Marc and the staff managed to keep the store open after hours to accommodate the pick up so it would be discrete and convinent to help make the most timely and amazing proposal.With being in the dark on jewelry buying, the team at Malloves has made it and experience like no other. You would be doing a disservice to yourself if you did not go in to see them. The only place you will go to find service as top caliper as the pieces they create for you!
