I started meeting Sarah during my sophomore year. I was in a “sophomore slump”; my organization was way off and my grades weren’t as good as usual. However, Sarah came to the rescue, and made a massive impact on helping me become a more organized and motivated student. I also attended Sarah’s SAT prep class, which was very well organized and monumental to my success on the test. This year, we worked on my college applications. Sarah was extremely helpful in answering all my questions about the process, giving me tips for my college essay and supplements, and organizing my resume. I have no idea where I’d be had I not met with Sarah. Thanks for everything!

My son worked with Sarah on many aspects of SAT prep, SAT test taking and the smallest details of the college search and application process. Every college prep consultant promises that and most deliver that to the student. What makes Sarah special is that she cares about what was important to my son. Sarah listened and asked questions that made him dig deeper into himself to write a meaningful essay. Currently, I’m a senior at Portsmouth High School and I’m still patiently waiting to hear back from all of my colleges! The first time I worked with Sarah, I was a Junior and she helped me prepare for the SATs. I wasn’t confident with my score and she helped me raise it even after only a few meetings! After working with her for the tests, she helped me tremendously with the college process. She helped me choose colleges that were perfect for me, set up the Common Application and eventually apply! As the oldest, and the first one going through the college process in the digital age, I was nervous about how I was going to get through it. While my parents may not have been familiar with the online common application site, Sarah still involved my parents every step of the way. She was able to communicate all the details of my top schools, scholarships, etc. in the best way to me and my family to set us on the path to success. She helped me write my resume, all of the college supplemental essays, my personal essay, and even my senior project. Even after I’ve applied to college, Sarah is someone that I can turn to for advice! I recommend her to anyone starting this process. Sarah began working with my son when he decided he wanted to attend boarding school. She helped prepare him for the SSAT entrance exam which resulted into admission to his first choice school. Now they are working on getting through some daunting summer reading/writing assignments before his the big transition. Sarah has done so much for my boys that its hard to put into words. From SAT/ACT prep to college admissions wizard. Without her services and her friendship I dont believe for a minute that my kids would be where they are today. She helped in all aspects of assisting us narrow down the often daunting task of choosing the schools that fit their goals and academic capabilities. Both of my kids needed completely different approaches in selecting their desired college experience. One going to school to study business while one was looking to play football at the collegiate level while focusing on economics. My oldest son got into his reach school and the other chose a post graduate year before committing to a NESCAC school to play football. I am grateful to have an opportunity to explain how much Sarah helped my daughter Grace, and by extension her Dad and I.Grace is our first kid going to college and we met with Sarah together (all 3 of us) to talk about how it all works.Thats kind of where the magic started. From SAT prep, school selection, application schedules, decisions about ED, EA and RD, all the way to essay editing, Sarah was there to help and guide.The thing I am most grateful for, compared to some friends who did this alone, is the way Grace managed to do this herself with Sarah. It really allowed us to enjoy the process (ok...enjoy may be an overstatement..lol) What I am trying to say, is the strain of deadlines, essay ideas, editing and planning were all off our plate. Sarah did an amazing job through the process and after.Heres how our story ended: Grace was accepted to some great schools. I am not interested in bragging, but I bet you want to know where? Boston College, Northeastern, UMass Amherst Honors college, UNH and her eventual love choice: Fordham University in NYC!Choosing is hard. Sarah was kind enough to navigate the cost benefit and remind me of the priorities we set as a family at that first meeting.
