This is my personal experience with Sanditz Travel and Ms. Liistro. In March 2021, I used my Visa credit card to put a down payment on a trip with Sanditz Travel through Ms. Liistro. In April 2021, after not receiving responses to my inquiries, I decided to cancel the booking for my vacation and requested a refund. Ms. Liistro complied and provided me with my full refund. In August 2021, two American Airline tickets were charged to my credit card without my authorization for a couples travel to Jamaica.After contacting my credit card company and American Airlines, I discovered the unauthorized transactions for the two tickets was processed through Sanditz Travel without my authorization. These transactions were made 4 months after I canceled my booking with Ms. Liistro and Sanditz Travel. I contacted general manager Ms.Sue Schiavone, Sanditz Travel (Middletown, Conn) and learned that my Visa had also initially been used to secure a reservation for a hotel in Jamaica but later the hotel reservation charges were taken off my Visa (no way to verify) and charged to a Master Card. When I asked the general manager of Sanditz Travel how my credit card information could be used to purchase airline tickets without my authorization, I was given no explanation as to how or why my credit card was used as well as why my credit card information and personal information was saved in Sanditz Travel system by Ms. Liistro.I was informed by Sanditz Travels’ general manager that since my credit card company removed the charges; no further action was needed on their part. I received a response from the president of Sanditz Travel, Mr. Henry R. Wrotniak which basically said I should have contacted them first to give them the opportunity to correct their mistake. It was only through contact with my Credit Card Company and American Airlines that I learned the unauthorized transactions were initiated by Sanditz Travel. Transactions were noted by myself August 17, 2021, charges recorded on August 9th; as of August 25th this was the Presidents response, not sure how much time has to pass before this company planned to correct their mistake.I am still currently seeking resolutions to my questions and concerns which I’ve requested be elevated to their Parent Company.
I call the Middletown ct office got a lady from Hartford ct she told me she was going to get a good deal she e mail the price I could not get back to her I was in the hospital I told her for 2 days very sick Karin push me to the side and stated I could deal with someone else l then had to tell my family they couldnt go on the trip in April like I was trying to set up I think that was not professional what she did as a business owner for years in town I will let everyone I know not to deal with this company very unhappy she did not live up to her word when I told her I was in the hospital sound like she did care she stated I will not be around you could deal with someone else.
