Great place to have your Auto repaired. The staff was wonderful and so professional. Mauricio is very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles. I had trouble with my car not starting properly, they check to make sure it was not the alternator and battery. It was my starter, they replaced it quickly. they also addressed any other concerns i had about my car. Maria who handles the desks and many other things was very nice and professional, she made me feel comfortable while waiting for my car to be done. I will definitely be returning to get other repairs done.

We initially went to the dealer and after hearing an arm and a leg for repairs that were not applicable, we decided to contact PEPEs auto repair as a second opinion. It was the best decision we have ever made. Not only were they professional, to the point, reasonable, and repaired our vehicle as expected, the services were so phenomenal that we brought our second car back the next day for an oil change. Very disappointed that I picked up my car from an oil change ans found a ton of surprises. Not only was there Wendys garbage all over the place, there was Frosty spilled all over my belongings and Twixcandy wrappers. I took a photo of my odometer and gas as soon as I parked to drop it off. 92 extra miles. Half tank now empty! Pepe tried his best to tell me the mileage was necessary and denied the mess and chocolate all over my stuff...until I found a receipt as evidence. Very unprofessional and unacceptable! Never again!!!

They have a good work ethic which means the work on your car is done right and they are always willing to stay late to listen to you, if you have any issues with your car. I took my car to a big-name repair shop. I was charged $150 for an estimate, and told the cost of repair would be an additional minimum of $1800. I went to Pepe for a second opinion. Fit me in right away. No charge for the estimate. Was told it was a different part that needed repair, and the cost of repair would only be about $500. On top of this, Pepe told me that whereas the first place had recommended steering wheel fluid, my car, with electronic steering, does not even use steering wheel fluid. So, for about 1/4 the cost of the first place, Pepe gave me honest, professional, prompt, cost-effective service. Good work at a fair price. The mechanics are experts at what they do. I have tried other shops but I dont have the same level of trust in other places. You can just tell that these are great people! I was surprised at a single one-star review until I read the response from the garage. The customer was angry that the car was driven 92 miles. Look, once you have a check engine light and it is fixed that code could stay in your cars computer for up to a hundred miles or even more before the inspection computer will give it a clean bill of health and you can get your sticker. If you dont know that you may think that the shop took your car on a joy ride. They have to get the computer to do a full recycle. The fact that the shop did not charge this complaining customer, tells me that they went out of their way to make her happy. How could you give the shop one star after that? People need to be more understanding.

I normally take my cars to the dealership but I always felt ripped off after leaving there. No matter what I brought my car in for, the dealership would always find something extra. Especially the LEXUS dealership. I happened to stumble across Pepes one day and I started using them for one of my cars. They were excellent! I used them a few more times with just the one car and they consistently gave me nothing but quality service. I now use them for both of my cars and my wifes car. They are honest and fair and dont try to give you extra services that you dont need or want. I have never had to take my car back for the same issue. I went to several places to get quotes for my car and was told it would be X amount of money (overpriced) and told it was the control arm and bushing. Brought my car to Pepe’s and I am so thankful I did! They figured out it was only a ball joint which saved me so much money! I have finally found the auto repair shop that I can rely on to find and fix the problem and also to charge a fair price. For example the other day my brake light went on. Rather than check to see if it was even the simplest of things like the brake fluid, I decided to just bring the car in. A very short time later I got a call indicated that it was only the brake fluid and they took care of it. When they could easily have indicated that it was something else they did not. I have found this shop to be very honest and fair. When I have gotten repairs the turn around time is quick, the price is good and I dont have any re-occurring problems with the repair. I am glad I found this place.

I called Pepe’s out of desperation due to a dragging splash guard. I had the part in my possession, as well as a window regulator. Pepe’s not only agreed to use the parts I had, but also fit me in that same day. My car was done within 2 hours of dropping off. Very honest! I was in other car dealer yesterday for NY state inspection, they told me my car have steering rack leaking problem, need to pay $1600 to replace. Today I went to Pepe’s auto repairs, Mr Pepe double check my car and told me my car isn’t leaking at all and I only paid $21 pass state inspection..

Very dissatisfied with service. Took 10 days to repair linkage on 1999 VW new beetle. No contact made by them over long periods of time waiting on parts. Only after threatening to cancel work they claim parts are in. Very unprofessional and disorganized. Would not recommend this location. Inexperienced mechanics and scatter brain management running the place. If their repair shop is anything like their sales I would definitely stay away. Far away.

Brought my car in early Friday morning and was told it would be done at 4:30. I called around 5 and no one would pick up the phone. They held my car hostage overnight and I went first thing in the morning to get it and nothing had been done to my car except for the seat was all the way back in the laying position, so either someone slept in my car or had sex in it. The guy with the awful mouth of teeth was very rude. I never had worse experience with a mechanic. They are the most unprofessional group of people you will ever deal with.

Pepes Auto Repair is Amazing! I live near Syracuse, NY and needed to find a repair place for my brother who was stranded and needed to be towed from NYC to where he lived Middletown, NY. So I googled repair places near Middletown NY and found Pepes. After reading reviews, I told my brother to have his vehicle towed there. I spoke with Carlos on the phone, felt very comfortable with him, and let me say, Carlos was truly an honorable Gentlemen. He offered to get a cab at a reasonable price so my brother wouldnt have to walk 2 miles home. How many repair places would be that kind? Pepes surely was! They got the job done within a day,quality job, EXCELLENT service, the price for the repair was so very reasonable it blew my mind. My God, most places would I have dealt with here in Syracuse, NY would have made you wait longer to get the work done, charged more and sure as hell wouldnt have cared one bit if you had a way home..Nor if you lost days pay from work due to no way to get to your job without your car. Carlos helped my brother out of a major jam,was super to deal with, offered a cab again so my brother could get back to get the car, and was an Amazing man in every way! My brother was so happy to have had the car back so fast. He told me that Pepes was very clean, was very busy, he was offered coffee and something to eat while he waited for the cab ride, which was so fair priced it was crazy. Courtesy was #1 here! I am so thankful to have found Pepes for him, andI do know my brother will be using Pepes for all future car needs. I would love for him to be around my neck of the woods near Syracuse NY, as I would use him too.
