Went in with my mom to look for appliances for two projects. Dina help us and she was fabulous. Very knowledgable and great insight to actual everyday use. Great range of pieces to select from even during their renovations. Cant wait to go back once the showroom has been finished.

3 years ago I purchased an Electrolux Washer and dryer from Michaels Appliances. I took warranty on washer but not the dryer. The main control board went on the dryer. We had booked 16 days ago a repair service for 1st available date July 20th. My husband checked out the dryer and we ordered the part from Michaels June 23rd. They said it would be here in a week. We have called for over a week no one returns phone calls so my husband stopped in today they had said we ordered a different part. Which we did not and it would be here in time for the service appointment on July 20th. When we made the purchase for the washer the sales representative was very knowledgeable It is a disgrace that such a reputable company at one time gives less care to their customers than the box stores. Will be calling other stores and warehouses for the part tomorrow. Very disappointed with Michaels Appliance

Almost 2 months ago I went to Michaels Appliances to look and PURCHASE ALL NEW APPLIANCES including a Sub Zero refrigerator, all together with a total of around 22 to 25K worth of appliances.A few weeks after we met with Colette Foley at the store, they sent someone to take our measurements and I received an email from her with the appliances for me to choose based on the size fitting with our kitchen. This entire process was weeks long, kind of slow, however I understand we are all busy. After I chose the appliances we need, I had to call Colette and leave a voicemail message to follow up with this purchase (SHE NEVER answers the phone so voicemail is it)A week after I left that voicemail I HAD TO EMAIL her asking her if she ever received our voicemail. She responded yes, but she was under the impression that my husband would call to set up an account and make a 50% deposit payment (granted she never answers the phone, and she is the sales person, we are the costumers.... who should be calling who???). I called her after reading that email and left another message, its been almost 2 months and nothing has been ordered. I left the voicemail again, letter her know she can call my husband to set this up, I am working outside the country and its difficult for me to follow up with this and having to constantly call her. In fact, I called twice to try setting up the account, etc... and I just get her VOICEMAIL only).Finally she called my husband and to GOES OFF AND YELLED AT HIM. Colette Foley not only was rude she said she is TOO BUSY and that we dropped the ball because we were supposed to call or go over to the store to set up this account (MEANWHILE) SHE NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE AND ALL I GOT WAS VOICEMAILS. She proceeds to HANG UP THE PHONE ON HIM.Her lack of professionalism and business / costumer service manners has forced us to look elsewhere for all our appliances.HANGING UP THE PHONE ON A NEW COSTUMER ?? WAY TO GO COLETTE! I am glad youre too busy and the store doesnt need us as costumers!HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE.Michaels Appliances just lost around $25,000.00 worth of sales. If that even matters to them.

Went here recently, walked around for quite some time before we were helped. We needed to get two answers from our builder, the salespeople seemed annoyed with us for not having the answers when we came in. Got the answers and went back the next day at opening time. Kept trying the door, salespeople were seated right inside and just ignored me, never came to open the door or let me know they were opening late. Ended up going to another appliance center in the area and purchasing two full sets of home appliances for two new builds there instead.EDIT: The owners response and apology would hold more meaning, if one of their employees didnt immediately find my businesses google page and leave a negative review despite never having had any dealings with my business.

Horrible customer service. After 2 no shows for replacing a broken icemaker (both appointments had been confirmed) the repairman showed up with the wrong part. Not even the correct manufacturer, though I had purchased the refrigerator from Michaels. Total incompetence!

We purchased all new appliances for the whole kitchen, sales person was great and they delivered all 4 appliances quickly. Well 2 days after using the dishwasher it broke. (ASKO 50 series) We called Michaels for a service call, and they told us it would be at least 3 weeks before a technician could come out. We gave them the codes that appeared on the dishwasher along with the part that was needed. Well 3 weeks later when the technician showed up, he had the wrong code written down and the wrong part with him? He then asked us to turn on the breaker for the machine. And the machine worked! So he told us I will order the correct part and could come back in another 3 weeks to make the repair. The dishwasher stopped working the next day and has not worked since. Well he returned once again 6 weeks into this now, and he could not install the part because the manufacturer told him he has to replace the control panel along with the pump as a pair! We junked a 15 year old GE dishwasher that NEVER gave us an issue for this piece of junk that cost us 3 times as much and broke within 2 days. The worst part is, (beside their service) they delivered us their floor mode!!l We did not know we were getting a floor model, nor was it discounted. This thing was opened and closed probably a 1000 times and who knows how many times the buttons were pushed on and for how long. I am sure the next time around is going to be the same thing. Something else will be needed and another 3 weeks will go bye without a dishwasher. I will then drop this pile of junk in their parking lot and buy another cheap GE so we can actually set it and forget it!Really Disappointed for such a reputable company. I will look elsewhere next time I need an appliance.

Ripoff! I bought an in stock part I needed right away. $100 for a $12 part. I can see 20 or even 30 bucks for the convenience but jeez....100? Next time Ill do without and wait for amazon.

In Sept. 2020, we bought a new Frigidare washer and dryer from Sergio. Thanks to covid, choices were limited, but he was able to get us the pair. It was delivered and set up as ordered. He told us it was Energy Star rated. Well, guess what, it is not. He told us we could get a $50 rebate. We sent in the required paperwork and Frigidaire called us and refuses to give us the $50, because he lied to us. We called Michaels and he is no employed there. Do not buy from these people. We still need a new refrigerator, dishwasher and stove. We will be going elsewhere.

Top shelf service and appliance (AC). Salesman found the perfect through the wall unit AC and had it within three days. This AC is exactly what I needed to replace the 35 year old unit. Great job Michaels!

I dont write reviews but the team at Michaels from Dina in sales,to the installation guys, need to be commended. I live in a challenging spot - rural with hills and LOTS of stairs. The guys huffed and puffed getting the old washer/dryer unit out and up the stairs and bringing the new ones down. They didnt complain and were totally professional about the entire delivery and installation process. They called the day before and an hour before they arrived. I couldnt be more happy and have already recommended Michaels to my neighbors. I will NEVER deal with Home Depot or Best Buy or Lowes again. I tried and got no response. Im happy I didnt. Michaels is the real deal. Their prices are just as good as any big box store and you get to talk to a real person who actually follows up and delivers what she promises. What a concept! They back up what they sell with their own warranty! If anything is wrong THEY fix it. Try that with a big box store. I have and it never works. Im glad I found Michaels and look forward to using them for all my future purchases.

I had a problem with a stove I purchased from Michaels a couple of years ago. It was still under warranty. I phoned Michaels - they were fantastic! We discussed the problem, they ordered the part sight unseen (so I wouldnt have to wait). The part arrived earlier than they expected, so they called me to reschedule my service call, so I could get my stove fixed faster! Wonderful experience and I appreciate their service.

Michaels delivered and installed my new range today. This was no easy task, and the installers encountered several unanticipated difficulties removing my (very old) range. With Thanksgiving only days away, and a houseful of guests on their way, I was close to panic. They rose to the challenge and had me cooking by evening. They went beyond the call of duty, and reminded me why a reputable dealer is so important. This was my first purchase from Michaels and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend them.

The sales staff was excellent. They quickly responded to my phone call and answered all my questions. They set up the date and time for the delivery and showed up exactly when they said they would. They installed our washing machine perfectly and took out the old washing machine and left no garbage behind. They were professional from the beginning to end. Everyone who needs an appliance should buy from them.

Called service on 12/26 to repair my Miele vacuum cleaner. I spoke with Billy who informed me that I would be charged $25 to diagnose the issue which because of the holiday would take a week. Then parts would have to be order and depending on the parts/issues it could take another week or two to do the repair. I asked if there was another Miele repair service in the area - as I could not wait two or three weeks for a repair. I was told by Billy he did not know of any other Miele repair service I would have to research that on my own.So I did. I called Sew and Vacuum in Mahopac and spoke with Dennis. I explained there was an issue with the power nozzle. He told me to bring it out and he would diagnose it immediately and try to get it repaired while I waited. He knew I was coming a distance and didn’t want me to make a second trip if he could fix it. He told me there was a diner and shopping near by where I could grab some lunch and do some shopping while he repaired my vacuum. When I arrived Dennis diagnosed the issue and said he could repair it as he had the part in stock. I went to the diner and before I was finished with lunch Dennis called me to pick up the vacuum. When I arrived he showed me the broken parts and had fully explained the issue and did a service on the vacuum.The repair was literally an hour and a half not three weeks.Yes, I had to drive further but well worth it! I would encourage Michaels to revisit their service and customer service policy’s. I will be buying my next Miele from Dennis and giving him my maintenance services going forward.

Theyve become my go-to for parts.When the time comes to replace the current appliances Ill definitely be going to them. Theyre knowledgeable, polite, and professional. The only place in the entire area that had a fuse for my dryer machine. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this store to anybody and everyone. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Home Depot and Lowes didnt even have the fuse. At Home Depot the employee gave me the card and told me to call the number and they could help me. I would have had to wait a week to have the fuse shipped to my address. Michaels Appliances store saved me a lot of time. Michaels Appliances store made it so I can wash and dry my clothes tonight and not in 7 days. Thanx for being a great store and having very knowledgeable emploees who treated me with the utmost respect, patience, and with great customer service.

Ive been a customer for years, & returned yesterday to shop for a fridge & possibly a stove. Salesperson Lance was rude, disinterested, negative, & disrespectful.Drove right to Lowes & purchased both fridge & stove. I received excellent, pleasant, & knowledgeable customer service, & paid less without any hidden fees.It would behoove Michaels to have their staff take classes in customer service & common courtesy instead of sending them all over the country to be wined & dined by manufacturers. Clearly this stores priority is NOT their customers.

What impressed me most and why I rated 5 stars is how the owner answers his reviews and how he backs his customer service mission and his employees ( regarding a smear review on one employer to which customer never contacted owner first before putting their negative review on)...Good job!!!!

I bought a dishwasher. It was a dud from the beginning. After 3 service calls, not fixed. They shmooze you before telling you that you have to pay for replacement parts and the service call, and if you dont like it, call the manufacturer. They completely deflect the blame to the manufacturer, as if theyre completely innocent. Dont go there.

Just left store. We are purchasing high end appliances for home being built. When my husband and I walked in staff was on phone. Never acknowledged us. We looked around for approximately 1/2 hour. Not one time did anyone come over to introduce themselves or ask if they could help. When we were leaving staff was helping someone that walked in after us! Didn’t acknowledge us leaving either. Store is not in the best shape and staff is sloppy looking. Worst customer service I’ve seen. We will be going to Sohns in Walden to purchase.

This was the second time I tried to purchase from Michael’s rather than the internet. The first was an electric cooktop about a year ago. I ended up ordering on line from Home Depot for $999.00. Similar experience again. I went to purchase a Miele dishwasher sadly they stopped selling this line. I was also interested in a Bosch. The salesman Sergio could not answer simple installation questions, like does it hook up from the back. His product knowledge extended to look at the racks. When I asked a about spray arms I had to look myself. When I make the effort to come into the store I expect better help and expertise or I can just shop on line from the comfort of my couch. I ordered a Bosch on line from Best Buy$ 1099.00Both times I came into your store I felt the sales person could care less if I purchased or not. Never asked qualifying questions or cared about my needs. Doubt I will ever be back.
