Iron Grip is no joke. In the world of boutique fitness, they are setting themselves apart and putting in a huge effort to truly strengthen and enrich their members in so many aspects. The variety of classes (strength, cardio, boxing, yoga, combo of all) is welcoming to all skills and abilities. They genuinely strive to make sure you are getting the most of your workouts and they legit want you to succeed. I look forward to my workouts, not only for the exercise, but also for the environment. Great place, even better people .

Love this place! The classes, trainers, and members are great. They use a variation of moves to keep it interesting and challenging for any fitness level, and classes are scheduled in a way that makes me want to attend every day. One of the best benefits is the attention and guidance we get - it feels good to know that the trainers will help with form and push you to improve. No need to begrudgingly drag yourself to work out - you will look forward to going to IGG!

If youre sick of the same boring workout routine, you need to come to Iron Grip! The circuits are different and challenging every day. Were always using different muscles and getting a full body workout. I really, really appreciate the variety of exercises that the owners/trainers come up with. The owners are super welcoming and helpful and put a lot of work into ensuring their clients are happy and getting the most out of their workouts. They also offer many different modifications to the exercises for all fitness levels. Since Ive been going here, Im actually developing visible muscles in my arms! Thats a first for me. I give Iron Grip two enthusiastic (and muscular) thumbs up!!

Iron Grip Gym is a great place to bust past a personal fitness plateau. The two owners Dustin and Nicole and their many trainers are energetic, approachable, and will push you to the next level. My favorite class that I took there was called Bags and Beats where you can punish a heavy bag using various punching combos while grooving to some awesome music. Another side perk of this gym is that their stereosystem is state-of-the-art! So if youre looking for a place to work your whole kinetic chain, develop some tight camaraderie with fellow members, and see your body change; get leaner, faster, stronger.....IRON GRIP GYM is your place!

Youll never have to worry about getting bored with your workouts ever again! Nicole & Dustin do a great job of running this place from the amazing trainers they have to the variety of workouts thats offered. You can choose from strength training, circuit training, bags workouts and even flow classes! I tried other gyms in the Madison area before settling here and have no regrets. This place has made me stronger and you can always count on a full body workout.

I love this gym! The trainers and members are all amazing and everyone pushes you to do your best. I can always count on Nicole to keep me accountable and she gives me the extra push I need to meet my goals. With a busy life and stressful schedule the workouts at Iron Grip are a great way to relieve stress and get a great full-body workout. Once you start coming here youll never wanna stop, and there is a great variety of classes of anyone.

Iron Grip Gym is my home away from home! And its quite a long ways from home... I drive all the way from the east side to Middleton 6 days a week to get my workout in with Dustin, Nicole, Joan, and Missy. And its worth every minute of the drive! The workouts are top-notch--youll leave feeling somehow both exhausted and much stronger.And dont worry about feeling intimidated; there are members of all ages, shapes, and fitness levels, and its the friendliest and most inclusive gym Ive ever been a part of. Not only do the trainers really care about your goals and progress, but the members all encourage and cheer each other on like family. Nicole and Dustin care so much about helping us progress that they arranged a certification course with the founder of Art of Strength fitness so that any interested members could learn to not only take part in the workouts, but teach them as well!Iron Grip is the only gym Ive found in Madison that continuously increases my health and strength, has reshaped my body to meet my goals, and has provided me real friendships on top of it. I cant recommend them enough!

Kind and motivating trainers who really want to see you make progress and do everything in their power to help you build strength and reach your goals. Great variety and challenge to the workouts. They also teach fundamentals to help ensure proper form, which i appreciate. My husband and I have been members since February. Hes losing weight and Im gaining muscle!

Youll love that this no-nonsense gym will give you a totally different workout every day, it will be challenging, and you will never get bored in the super-clean and pleasant environment with excellent equipment. They will show you exactly how to do each exercise and correct you as needed. You will get results. It will be a tough workout.I had a really great experience for 4 weeks until the very end. I interpret one of the trainers style as negative and cold. Probably should have just avoided her classes and gone to the other trainers.

Most people join a traditional gym after they see something motivating, get all psyched up, and finally get over that mental barrier and go. The problem with this is within 6 months they get bored and stop going.What Iron Grip does is develop discipline as opposed to temporary motivation. The positive environment, ever-changing workouts, and almost personal training from the instructors will keep you coming back. Within months youll find yourself actually WANTING to go to the gym (I know, sounds crazy).I have lost 30 pounds since joining and unlike my experiences at other gyms, Ive kept the weight off. If you are like me and dont get much out of a traditional gym, this is the place for you. Joining this gym was one of the best desicions Ive ever made and I would gladly recommend it to anyone. They allow walk-ins so take my word for it and go attend a class!

I am not the typical gym rat or muscle head. I researched private gym after gym for several months before I decided to finally step foot into Iron Grip. Yes, I was intimidated by the name and logo with the words Iron and a hulk-like fist holding a kettle-bell in the air. But from day one as I walked in that door on a cold November I was greeted with a warm smile and caring group of experts, who didnt just want my money, they wanted ME and took me as out of shape as I was. Dustin, Nicole, Missy, Joan and crew are tremendous with how they run their business. They work with you to see you progress each and every time you come to sweat it out. This is the perfect gym for ALL body types and ages. Very family friendly and fun-loving. I cant say enough good things about this place and what theyve done for me. From fundamentals, to circuit and NOW Muay Thai kickboxing with Dan Irina, this place has it all! Invest in yourself and #WORKOUTLOUDI love this place!!!

Bottom Line: Iron Grip is the best gym I have ever been a member of - hands down. But this is not your typical gym. There are no treadmills. No elliptical machines. No benches. No TV’s. No mirrors. No weight machines. Instead it is full of like-minded individuals working together towards a common goal: developing strength. Every day is a new day of small group strength training via circuits, ropes, kettle bells, loops, body weight exercises, muay thai kickboxing, and a myriad of other torture devices that use EVERY SINGLE muscle in your body. There is no hiding at Iron Grip either. It is a collaborative experience full of support and challenge. You will get strong and fit here - you have no choice. The owners, Dustin and Nicole, know every member personally and ensure you receive the experience you need (their trainers do too). If you live in the Middleton/Madison area, you should definitely join Iron Grip Gym.

I have been going to Iron Grip about 4-5 x per week over the past year, so it’s about time I wrote review. This place will give you an excellent full body workout and is the perfect combination of cardio, strength, and flexibility. It could be great as your sole fitness routine, or as a way to improve your other fitness endeavors (running, swimming, weight lifting, yoga to name a few). The best part about this place is that it can work for anyone no matter their age or fitness level.The workouts: Classes are 40-45 minutes long, which is the perfect length for these types of workouts. Three days a week are heavily focused around kettlebell work and remain the same for the month (for progression). The other 4 days are circuit training where we do a lot of cardio, core, rope and free weight work (different everyday). And as a bonus there are 2 kickboxing classes per week.The Facility: Clean and accommodating. Plenty of place to store your belongings. There is a nice area for kids to sit/play while you work out. There are 2 bathrooms and one that has a shower if you were to come on your lunch break. The workout area is well-organized and quite spacious.The Staff: The owners (Nicole and Dustin) are awesome people. They are so friendly and helpful and you can tell they really care about their gym. Classes always start on time, the workouts are carefully thought out, and they are quick to offer suggestions/modifications if needed.Definitely recommend coming in and checking it out for yourself. The first class is free☺
