Scam -- thought I was getting printer connection help. Seemed legit at first. Then *Ryan* *showed* me all the network corruption problems my computer had and offered to have them fixed for $200. Turned out all I had to do to add my older printer correctly was to reinstall it using Windows 10.

A total rip off. Don’t even think of doing business with this company. They took me for $700 bucks and provided zero service.

There was another tech support company that scammed me. They put a virus on my computer. They took control of my computer and got all my info so thats why I got a hold of American Soft Techs Corp. I looked at their rating and it was okay but not that good but still i took a risk . Their reps were easy to interact with and were understanding. Theyre very easy to get a hold of and they solved the problem that I was having. If anyone is looking for help, I would recommend American Soft Techs Corp, Technician Ryan.

Ryan was great in locating and fixing my computer. Five stars! He determined that my Mozilla Firefox e was working and that I had five different foreign address logged onto my computer. He talked me through the whole process of cleaning my computer and fixing it to working order.

I called to get my computer serviced because it was not responsive, wouldnt allow me to add/delete on a word document and wouldnt talk to the printer. The computer was acting way slower than one I had 25+ years ago working on a landline. Your intake person was patient with the slowness of the computer and the ramblings of a senior citizen. He was very polite & efficient. They helped me a lot specially the Technician named Romeo solved problems and he really did a great job.

Romeo ** was beyond belief WONDERFUL!!!! We were unable to connect our computer to the printer. He had extraordinary patience and spoke me through every step clearly and concisely. Having dealt with other tech support people in the past, he ranks high above anyone else.

I paid $599.99 for computer cleanup, internet protection on 3 computers and all devices May 30, 2019. This was for internet and virus protection. It is difficult to understand Ryan because of his accent. Now, I finally understand that the virus protection is for a lifetime. The internet security was for one year. Ryan tells me it has expired but my contract says May 30th 2020! I keep calling Ryan and get the run around. Dont use these people.

I have been using their services for 2 years. They solve any problem I may have. I was recently hit with ransomware and they stopped it. I use their full services including American Soft Techs Corp, Early Detection Center, and their main restore service.

I got their service in June and paid 249.99 for what they told me was a 6 month subscription. On Friday August 24th, 2018, I received a call from a ‘Mike’ that said he was refunding my money. I allowed him to remotely connect to my computer and he said he added 4,250.00 to my checking account. However he said it was An Error. It was only supposed to be 250.00. I hung up my phone and I panicked. I called my bank to find out he had transferred the money FROM my savings to my checking account. He told me I had to go to an APPLE store and get a 4000.00 gift card to return the companies money.This was a HUGE scam that I fell for until he told me to drive to the Apple store to get him a gift card.This man either works for this company or a disgruntled employee. Meanwhile he shut down my computer and I cannot get it to work at all. PLEASE be aware of this SCAM from American Soft Tech!

18 September 2019, i had a problem with my Brother HL2270dw laser printer being off-line. Called Brothers tech support help line, After asking me how old my 3 year old printer was (I assume to find out if it still was under warranty), they transferred me a few time until I arrived at American soft techs. They said they would have to charge me US$60 (CDN$80) to fix it. The fix was a reinstall of the firmware or something like that. By remotely accessing my computer, they did some quick keyboard strokes and ten minutes later it was completed.The problem seems corrected, but US$60 for that seems really steep!!

THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER!! And...I hope you are reading this pre-purchase rather than post-purchase. I, like another review person, bought a new HP printer. I had a problem with installation...so...I clicked on the HP link provided. Lo and behold...it was not HP (as they identified themselves to be) but a very smooth talking representative from American Soft Tech. They signed on to my computer via the Logmein program. They moved around fast and furiously (and who knows what they actually did). I will say...that after a $299.00 subscription fee (for 3 years...of course) my computer and printer seemed to be working fine. A few days ago..I received a phone call from American Soft Tech, that they were alerted that my computer had another issue...and for only $99.00 they would fix it. I asked about the $299.00 I paid a few months back and was told this is a different problem. I did not proceed. A few days later I emailed requesting my subscription be cancelled. i received a call back from RYAN, telling me to find someone else to help me with my cancellation and he promptly hung up on me. I wish Id read the reviews prior to purchasing. I am in hopes I am saving you! Run away as fast as you can...THIS IS A HUGE SCAM!

Unbelievable! I cannot believe I got scammed by these people! I thought I was smarter than this! Smh!

I found them to be dishonest. I was having problems with my Canon printer. I googled the manual and thought I was on a Canon site. I called a tech support number from the site. I asked a couple of times if they were Canon support and they said yes. I stupidly let them on my system and they said it has a virus or malware. I had scanned it already with my security software and it showed no issues but I was in a hurry and paid them to ‘fix’ it. As far as I can tell they basically did nothing. At the end of the day they said to take the printer cartridges out and put them back and the printer problem was fixed. I felt stupid and took it to Microsoft store to scan for free to make sure they didn’t leave malware on my system.

They called me i called back ask for alex i get tranfered i thought and alex and the other person that got transferred sounded like same person just different name. IT IS SCAM RUN AWAY REPORT THEM.

Ryan delivered noteworthy service. He addressed my issue and effectively solved them. Give him a raise immediately.

My experience with American Soft Techs Corp has been positive so far. My 8 year old ASUS laptop was running slow and was frustrating to use. I use McAfee for my laptop security, Im not sure whether its a good or bad anti-virus software, theres probably better. Anyway six months ago I contacted ASTC and after an hour plus they cleaned up my software and the laptop operated as good as new. Ive signed up for 12 more months, I trust that theyll keep my laptop and future equipment running in top notch condition. I feel their service is comparable to Microsoft but at a lower cost.I havent received any calls from ASTC trying to scam any other monies from me as claimed by a less satisfied customer, they probably had second thoughts after signing up for their service or theyre just one of the many derogatory review writers out there.As the ole saying goes good service isnt cheap and cheap service isnt good, I feel Im receiving good service for a fair price.Check out their website and decide for yourself if ASTC is right for you.
