John Is A Good Barber He Did A Good Job With My Beardfade

First time there. From the welcoming greeting by John, to the friendly conversation during the cut, I was made to feel like an appreciated customer. The cut was perfect and John went above and beyond by doing the little extras that mean a lot (trimming eyebrows, etc). I will be a regular there from now on. Great all-around experience. I even got a gleaming “Wow, you look good” from my harshest critic. Thanks John

I just got a haircut there today and I was absolutely appalled. I showed the guy that cut my hair a picture of what I was looking for (a regular fade with the line). When he was done I started to feel my head as I normally do, and I noticed that he left the back of my head completely bald. No joke, I have no hair on the backside of my head. I am never going to this place ever again.

Love this barber shop. While some people will come to a barber shop to talk, you cant beat this barber shop for the price and the service. I have been coming to this barber shop for over a year now. I have had my hair cut by each employee and I have been more than happy with their service. They are approachable and detail oriented. You cant beat the wait time, nor the time that you are in and out of the chair. The price plus tip is well worth it. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of great haircut at a great price.

Quick haircut which I like. Not as short as I wanted it. I understand the hair wont lay properly but Im not that hung up on that. Short cut means I dont have to go back as often. The ladies get that better than the new guy.

If the owner is reading this you cannot ask a customer to pay $2 more if you want your hair cut with scissors – this is absurd, the use of scissors is a basic requirement to cut hair.I guess the stylists these days just want to buzz you with a clipper like you’re a dog, I don’t see much skill involved in this and you certainly didn’t go to Barber or Cosmetology school to learn how to just use a clipper.When I told him I wanted a Layer cut, short with scissors he told him it would be $2 more on top of $18 – I didn’t stick around to find our if he could actually cut hair with a scissor. I am giving a 1 only because I can’t give a 0.

There has been a change in staff there and finally the woman in the front with the bad attitude is gone! About time! Now it is a wonderful, bright, clean, happy experience to get a professional haircut at this old-school barber shop!

Do not go here!!!! The day after I went to this barber I had the most horrible razor bumps that I have ever had in my life. I used to get hair cuts once a week and diddnt get bumps like this. I called and the people on the phone refused to acknowledge that the clippers were either dull or the barber was too rough. I understand that I have different hair than their usual customers but they should be trained to take care of this. And like I said I used to get haircuts every week from some of the roughest millitary barbers out there and this never happened. I was upset about the unsightly bumps on the back of my neck. But I am furious about the lack of accountability and customer service after the fact.

Pretty terrible experience. Lack of attention to detail, and unsanitary for christ sakes they dont even change the blade when using a straight edge razor. Best to just avoid this barber shop.

Bryan(I hope I spelled it correctly) is amazing he always does a great job on my 4 year olds hair. I made the mistake once of allowing the girl to cut it and it was a mess. Lesson learned from now on we will happily wait for him!

I usually go to Klean Kutz on Plainfield (which is awesome) but they were closed today for some reason. I made the mistake of thinking I would experience the same professionalism at Klean Kutz II - bad assumption. I see that there are other reviews here referencing a very unpleasant barber that acts like she is doing you a favor. Honestly worst barber I have ever encountered. Acted like I had no right to be there and was an annoyance and interruption in her day. Not a way to treat a first time customer. This is the first time I have ever paid for a haircut without tipping the barber. Not only did she not deserve a tip; I regret even bothering to say thank you. She needs to find another profession if she hates customers. If you need a cut go to Klean Klutz on Plainfield Ave. You will be shocked at how much better it is than Klean Kutz II.

The so called barber on the first chair by the door is very rude. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a bad attitude. I showed her the pic of what haircut I wanted for my son, minus a flip in the front, she followed by uttering under her breath, well thats not the haircut you want then very sarcastic and mean. I felt so bad that I had to subject my son to this rude woman. Will never go there again. Im surprised this place is still opened with this miserable woman working there.

This is the most horrible place, the women working there cant speak English and they dont understand what you are saying. Very very terrible place, highest order clowns, have some freakin interest in your job, especially the older Spanish woman, nasty attitude and crappy work. She acts as if she is doing you a favor.

One of the worst haircuts I ever got was from here. I called ahead and asked for some one experience with a blade for my beard. They set me up with a barber that was horrible and the lines were all crooked.
