I use this place whenever I can. They really stand up to their name. Always honest and fair with their work/ prices. I went to them because my running lights were making a noise on the dashboard and not turning on. and I had two other mechanics look at this issue due to some long distance traveling I had been doing.They were not able to fix it. then I went to honest 1 in middlesex where they quickly fixed it and I was able to pick up the car and go away on a long road trip.The issue was quickly and resolved this time. I trust this place with pricing and good work.

I have no idea what these people did to my car but it has never driven so well!! I dropped it off for an oil change and to get a once over before I drive 1000 miles round trip to vacation. There’s normally never anything wrong with my car so I just expected to get the oil change and be on my way. Well, I get a call from Gary (the owner) saying there’s some unexpected bad news—suspension and tie rods are shot. I could tell he did feel bad but I was so thankful they actually took the time to look and inspect my car for anything wrong. Every time I get my vehicle back from Honest-1 I don’t have to bring it right back for a new issue like I did with previous mechanics. As much as it stunk to have to get those repairs done, I feel so much safer knowing my mechanic actually looked for issues rather than just doing the oil change and handing me back my keys.

This was the absolute best place I have ever taken my car to for an auto repair. Mike at the front desk was fantastic! Very professional and he took the time to explain everything to me. Came in to get my cars brakes inspected, the mechanic was honest and didnt charge me for new brakes even though I didnt have a great idea of what worn out brakes feel like as the only frame of reference I had were brand new rental cars and at the time couldve been convinced into an unnecessary replacement.The high rating on google is legit and well deserved.

My Mustang was having some issues that I could not figure out on my own so I was able to limp it over to these guys and they were a huge help. I didnt have an appointment and I didnt even give them a call first. I just walked in and they were immediately helpful. After getting a bunch of codes for a bunch of different issues they were able to find the cause of the issue and had it ready for me the next morning. The service was great and kept in touch through every step of the way. Making sure I approved all repairs before making them. Gary was a huge help with the bill and making sure I was on the road again for a good price. Huge thank you to the whole team at Honest-1. Whenever I have car issues this is where Ill be going.

I never used Honest 1 auto before this time. A friend of mine recommended them to me. The day before a very long trip I realized I needed to replace a leaky air pressure sensor in my tire. I called them and asked is it something that could be done that same day. They responded yes and had it finished by the end of the day. Because I was not a regular customer of theirs I found it very impressive that they took care of me at the level in which they did. I will certainly recommend them to people in need of a good auto shop.

Extremely overpriced . Paid 967 for a brake job. Had no choice but to do it after they had hammered my brakes completely nearly breaking them because apparently they could not take them off. Quoted me after they did this. Didnt have my car out on time sat in their shop all weekend. Wanted to use 50 dollar coupon they had online. Was offered 75 inconvenience fee. They didnt allow me to combine the two so basically got a 25 dollar inconvenience fee. Never again. Mechanics did not seem like they knew what they were doing. Sketchy place.

Great staff, very knowledgable and trustworthy.They had taken a look at an issue I believe I was having w/ my car. Turned out to be something very minor and provided me a clear explanation on how it was resolved. Had given me an extremely nice courtesy price that I was more than willing to pay. Dealership wouldve easily charged full price for their time.

They helped fix my moms car. I was really happy with their professionalism and their care of her car. They gave me a great deal that I was more than happy to pay for. Will be going here for all my car problems. Also, everyone here wore a mask.

Cheapest in the area (that Ive found) for full synthetic oil change and still such excellent quality. This is the place to go in Middlesex.

Made an appointment online A WEEK in advance for a simple oil change. Show up and the guy at the front goes “ yea we are really backed up it will be a few hours or can you drop your car off tomorrow?” How about you don’t waste people’s time, try honoring your appointments or AT MINIMUM call to inform the customer that the appointment needs to be moved. TERRIBLE, finding a new shop!

This place is great! I was in town to look at a used car but was suspicious of the engine, made an appt that day for a pre purchase inspection and it saved me thousands. Within 30 mins of arriving they were able to look over the car thoroughly and inform of the disaster the purchase would have been. Def recommend, A+

Ive used this location for my car and my wifes car with no issues for a couple years. We used to use a dealer,but they were much more expensive and we would waste a day waiting. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone in the Middlesex area.UPDATE: They are still awesome! We had an issue with one of the cars and they immediately fit us in. They had the car for a couple hours and then called us to say it was finished. Upon arriving to pick it up, we were told it was no charge because they didn’t have to do much. The car is great and they fixed the issue. We won’t go anywhere else!

Im not from the area but found myself needing an oil change while I was in the area. Went here on a whim and Im happy I did. Ive been back several times for oil changes and tire help. They are very reasonably priced and professional. One night the manager was the only employee left and he stayed open late for me and personally fixed the leak in my tire. I will continue to go back and recommend to anyone in the area.

Not only did they make me aware that I still had some life on some of my OEM pads, (I wanted to change them anyway, since the squeaking from one of the pads was unbearable) but they also let me clean my wheels outside the shop, so I appreciated that.I will be coming back to Honest-1 for any future car care needs.Thanks!

Mechanics are very good. I was very comfortable when I wait with certain amenities they have like computer access lWi-Fi, as well as snacks. And yes they are honest.

Im sorry...not satisfied at all. I was under the impression my ac would be fixed. I paid 736.00 and I still cant run ac without fearing my car belt will pop. I brought my car because I thought they were thorough and honest company but I am out 736.00 and still no ac.

Weve been using Honest-1 for the past year for our 4 cars. Weve found them to be fair, thorough, easy to work with, and true to their name--honest. I needed brakes very bad for a 2009 vehicle-Gary and his right hand crew came across a situation where the year that the car was manufactured and what they saw when the looked at my brakes wasnt right. They ordered several times to get the correct match. Knowing that someone can take that much car of another persons property makes it all worth while. Great price, very nice waiting area and Wonderful people. Great job!
