This was not only the easiest vehicle purchase I have made but the fastest! I typically dread going to a dealership as it consumes and entire day. Middlebury Chevy had everything ready to go and just required paperwork to be signed and the initial run through of the new vehicle. A shameful business to have in our community. Sold us a car that has left us stranded twice in less than two years; once on the day after a free inspection in which they found $2000 worth of work that needed to be done. We were stranded at the Hannaford next door and they offered nothing to help us. They will be quick to blame the old owner about the junk car they sold us, but they are no better and unabashedly took advantage of us in the garage. I regret ever buying a car from them and will never return. The sales department is full of slime and the garage is no better. Our town deserves better than this greedy dealership that refuses to stand behind its sales and its work.

I went in for a VSI and 4 tire change over.The 4 tire part of the service went well.I didnt want to prepay for the parts needed to pass my VSI, but Howard Brod was adamant that I did and told me that if I were to price the parts outside of the Mackey dealership, that they would be more expensive. He told me that they already put a new Inspection sticker on the windshield and all I needed to do was prepay the parts and come in for an appointment to have the parts installed and pay for labor; $210.00.I was pressured into prepaying for the parts and reluctantly did so.I called a local parts store and EVERY PART was cheaper than Mackey. I called and was eventually refunded the prepayment I made.I didnt have to get the parts that were so-called needed to pass the VSI, because the Dept. of Motor Vehicles Inspection Test Report Form that was in the front seat of my car when my service was done, showed a PASS for Overall Test Result and Safety Inspection Result.The treatment that I received was quite degrading and according to 3 other DMV Licensed Technicians that I haven spoken to; it was illegal to sticker a vehicle prior to passing the Inspection.My current lease will soon be due and I would like a Chevy Trax, but after this experience, I WILL NEVER COME BACK or REFER ANYONE to DO BUSINESS WITH MACKEY MIDDLEBURY CHEVROLET!

Your service department is great, very helpful. Unfortunately, your product sustained more than $5000 in damage by hitting a curb in a parking lot at less than 5 miles/hour and the recent computer sensor repair of more than $600 was not covered by the extended warrantee that is supposedly “bumper-to-bumper”. I’m going to sell my truck and buy a pre-computer, low mileage truck for probably half the cost of a new truck. Unless something else breaks before that happens, I won’t be back.

When i bought my car 6 months ago the sales man was excellent, how ever getting someone from the service department to call me back or even get an email doesnt happen and when/if they do they are rude and dont know many answers I dont think ill be bringing my car back for any reason Ill do the work myself

Mike Skiba,the sales manager, was wonderful. It took less than 24 hours for him to find me a great deal. The next day I arrived early to pick my car up and everything was ready. Dave the salesman was very informative when showing me how to use the features. I was only at the dealership for 45 minutes before I drove away with my new car. I will definitely recommend Middlebury Chevrolet. My stepdaughter and her husband plan on purchasing a new vehicle soon and will be calling them.

Our sales rep - David John - was so easy to work with. I provided him with what we were looking for and what we could afford. He delivered exactly what we wanted - All through email! There was no painful back and forth, wheeling and dealing or spending hours in the showroom. When we showed up at the dealership to pick up our vehicle, he was ready for us, as was the finance manager. We were maybe there for 1/2 hour! (We drove 1.5hrs to get there!) It was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had! Highly recommend Middlebury Chevrolet!

The leaf spring on the ear of my truck is misaligned. I asked to have it fixed. I thought it was covered by the warrantee we bought for the truck. I picked up the truck and the service maker said all they did was tighten the U bolts. Its still misaligned because they didnt loosen the bolts, straighten it out and tighten it up again. They charged me labor charge for doing nothing to fix the problem and by the looks of it they didnt do anything at all.

I was quoted a price that was way way to high called 4 other shops and was quoted half the price I was from you guys. Had a oil change done and they never reset my oil light or replaced my sticker telling me when the next oil change is. Not a very pleasant experience at all. Prices are highway robbery.

I have bought a carand truck in the last 2 years from Deneckers, plus 2 member of my family have this year. IN Picking up of cars there was no or very little cleaning /detailing of the vehicle this yeat. Also usually get a tank of gas . That did not happen two out of 4 car bought in the last two year. The two that did not get gas was during the changing of owership.Also have heard rumors that employees that have been there for years are not treated fairly.We Have been traded trucks about every two / four years.Not saying I wont buy from Middlebury Motor because I like Kim, Mike and Kurt.. they are friendly and make you feel like a person. The last time I had service the man that was my tech was not friendly. I do know his name .he was not really pleasant . Thank God Kurt was there to say hello, how are you and goodbye when I left. He made me feel like a person not a number to get in and out.

I am posting this review on Google as well since they recently turned off their reviews on Facebook after I posted this. Seems like a pretty shady thing to do. I Visited in hopes of exploring options for upgrading my vehicle. While there I was informed by my sales rep that they terminated Tom Denecker so I could not talk to him about my options. This disappointed me but decided to still move forward. Though I felt my sales rep was talking down to me at times I still wanted to give her a chance. Eventually she brought over a manager to talk with us and this was the nail in the coffin. He was a tall, bald gentleman and was extremely arrogant and kept his mask below his chin while talking to me. He even took the sales persons seat and made her grab another chair when talking to me. I guess he sits on a high horse! Afterwards she explained he once was a cop and has a dry personality. That actually made sense because I saw some of his other interactions while there and it was the same. Clearly he thinks highly of himself and disregards all of those below him. When Tom was there, there was always an energy but yesterday it was dull...I even saw a locksmith changing locks....I hope that is not because of terminating Tom. So disappointing. They may need to drain the swamp themselves! If that manager is part of this new regime then they are screwed!!So the owner commented below and blatantly lied! Number one: Tom Denecker has been let go, Number two, I was in the building, Number three: my Facebook is not blocked I simply have it marked private. Everyone who reads this please call the dealership and ask about Tom Denecker! You will see who the real liars are. This speaks miles about their character as they are willing to call someone else a liar rather than be honest.

Purchased a new 2020 Tahoe that was delivered with damage (large dents and scratches), missing floor mats, a manufacturers defect, crooked hood and grill and other very suspicious issues (how do these things go unnoticed when delivering a BRAND NEW vehicle?). Chevy wouldnt approve a buy back so I had no choice but to have it fixed by the dealer. Took them 3 tries (4 times driving it back and forth between NY to VT) and in the end wound up with a new vehicle that needed thousands of dollars worth of repairs (including a paint job) and over 2,000 miles on it. The dealership had no explanation and took no blame for anything since the vehicle came from another dealer. I got the run around for 3 months and have gotten zero compensation from the dealership or Chevy. Wont ever go to this dealer again and will likely never buy a Chevy again. Nothing but disappointment, frustration and wasted time.

I had noticed a rattle in the upper console of my truck that wasnt there before dropping the truck off. I called and they said to stop in and they would take a look. I drove back up to the dealership and the only person there was Kevin, the service manager as the service advisors were at lunch. He personally took it in the shop and fixed the issue. I had my English Bulldog with me and they were absolutely fine with her going in the dealership. Great service! When I bought the truck it was Denecker Chevrolet, now its Mackey Auto group. Hope the great service continues!

Everyone told me to stay away from this place, and I should have listened. The “mechanics” have no business working there. Took them 3 weeks to install a transmission and it was bad in 33 days. Refused to replace it and tried to say an aftermarket air intake caused it to go. This was my second experience with them. The first was an axle that they replaced and took them almost a week to do a 2 hour job. Stay far, far away. Over priced and under experienced “technicians”.

I called about an issue that needed fixing and that the car needed an oil change (which I mentioned several times) they fixed the issue (sort of) but had no record of any oil change needed. Honestly it seems like there is great deal of communication breakdown between the customer and the company as of late which is somewhat surprising since we have been with them a long time

Went for and oil change and recall. An hour and a half later they tell me they don’t have the bolts for the recall. Seriously!!!!!! You would have thought they would have them or checked to make sure when I made the appointment. Then they wanted me to make another appointment to go back to have it done after they ordered the parts. I live 50 minutes away. No I’m not going back. I went somewhere closer and they had the parts. Not too happy with the service department Tom!!!

While most car dealers are pushy and want you to buy now for some special deal, denecker is different. They are patient, and want to make sure you end up with the car you want. Very low pressure sales tactics make you feel comfortable and heard through the buying process. I have bought many cars and this is the best dealership to buy from. The service manager was very prompt in getting my car in to find the problem . once the problem was found he called me and told the issue. he also told me it was covered under my extended warrant. he helped me arrange a car to drive while mine was being fixed. the car was returned to me when it was promised. Nice people in service department. But Im not happy with having pay 100% to replace my radiator in my 3 year old truck . The company,and the dealer should be responsible for that. How often does a radiator leak on a 3 year old truck,with less than 100k miles. That indicates shoddy parts to me.
